Honestly, before watching this drama, I actually read reviews and I found out that the rating was actually very high (8.7 , high expectation) so I started to wonder and tried to wacth. At the first episode, I was like a little bit confused because the plot and setting was really confusing. Why? Because the story lapses from three different times (current situation, during high school days(4 years ago), and before the current situation) confusing right? I watch 'till ep. 3 then my excitement was just like a rain which flows to the ground drastically. I really the
plot that they are already showing the whole current situation (unlike in other flashback plot that they just showed the glimpse of the future then going back to the past) . Tagalogin ko ha, yung plot kase nila ah masyado ng marami ang pinapakita sa current situation na happy ending na agad tas nag sasama na yung both characters, nakakapatay ng excitement. Ok lang sana magpakita ng situation nila ngayon pero sana pasilip lang. Tatlong time kase nag lalapse yung story, nakakapatay talaga ng excitement. I think marami ang mag didis agree sakin kase halos lahat maganda ang reviews, but well this really killed my mood today. I was very irritated yung pati yung hilig mo sa panonood parang nakaka tamad nadin dahil lng sa napanood mo ngayon. Try ko ulit ituloy kase i stopped 'till ep 3 then I will jump to ep 11, tignan natin.

Uma bela surpresa para um dia entediante

Nessa tarde nublada de quarentena, eu resolvi dar uma chance a um filme do Kyungsoo. Não que eu não acreditasse nas habilidades de atuação dele, (100 dias, meu príncipe e It's okay, that's love me mostraram o talento do menino D.O) eu simplesmente nunca tinha visto um filme dele mesmo, e foi essa decisão que fez com que minha tarde não fosse monótona e esquecível.
O filme é compacto, com personagens cativantes e uma história simples, mas bem trabalhada. Apesar de ser razoavelmente curto, isso não impede a imersão e exploração de personagens. Até agora, foi uma das melhores atuações que eu vi o Kyungsoo fazer. Como exo-l, estou extremamente orgulhosa do trabalho do menino D.O.
Não pense que o D.O foi o único que brilhou nessa trama, todos os atores foram maravilhosos em seus papéis. Destaque para o "Hyung" que tinha tudo para ser um personagem odioso e irritante, mas que conseguiu me fazer derramar lágrimas com seu desenvolvimento.
Com um final agridoce, esse filme entrou para os meus favoritos desse ano, eu recomendo fortemente para todos.

Perfeitooo

O melhor de 2021 até agora. Final perfeito e sem pontas soltas.

Eu amei que Vincenzo Cassano é vilão e mafioso do começo ao fim não teve essa de que ele conheceu alguém e virou bonzinho, pra mim foi realista.

A atuação foi nota mil, cada personagem teve uma participação importante e foi bem trabalhado.

A química de todo o elenco foi bem notável e tão bem construída que é quase impossível não criar apego pelos personagens logo nos primeiros episódios.

No geral o fim de cada personagem foi bem coerente com o rumo da história, principalmente a punição dos personagens ruins que na minha opinião foi muito boa, eles receberam o que mereciam.

Vincenzo foi um drama que teve um grande equilíbrio entre humor, ação e drama. Me fez contar os dias pra ver episódios novos (já que acompanhei durante o lançamento)

My second best BL

Before starting the series I had some thoughts about it being a bit violent and depressing but it ended up being a cute, sweet, cheesy story as I see Porsche as a guy who makes smile anyone who is looking at him on screen, he's soo cute.

Well as fot the adult side I mean not murders, guns or drugs but actual 18+ scenes between Porsche and Kinn were breathtaking I was like "oh, hhmm ... didn't expected them to go so far on sceen but it was a blessing to see"
Also Pete and Vegas had such hot, burning relation wooaahh I always keep on saying myself it's toxic, unhealthy but I still wanted this couple to end up together I mean the tense they create while they are together is crazy

This series has set my BL standards soo high that I'm worried about not being able to find anything good soon

Me habían contado que la película era mala, aburrida...
Debo decir, que se equivocaron totalmente, obviamente si la comparamos con Tren a Busan, nada que ver; pero Alive dentro de su historia y sus zombies, es muy diferente y es bastante buena.
Esta película tiene lo necesario para mantenerte pegada y los momentos de tensión son excelentes, pues cuando crees que te estás aburriendo ¡BUM! algo sucede y puedes hasta llegar a saltar de tu asiento unos centímetros.
Las actuaciones, son buenas; no sé por qué pero Yoo Ah In siempre para esta clase de papeles donde se hace el tonto, es el mejor; Shin Hye, siempre tranquila, sin nada de sorpresas, y como es usual, quieren hacerla una heroína y pos esta vez al lado del personaje de Ah In, si termina siendo heroína.
En resumen, una buena película que vale la pena ver y varias veces, no creo que uno se aburra de verla, especialmente cuando se les acaba la comida y deben ir a buscarla.

So I just finished watching the bride of habaek and I just don't understand where all the hate is coming from. Sure, it isn't an epic drama that deserves a 10/10 but it's still enjoyable at the least. It does not keep you on your toes or on the edge of your seat from start to finish but it had its funny moments and some suspense for the first episodes.
And I actually thought that shin se kyung's and nam joo hyuk's acting was good even though many thought the opposite.
After I read the reviews and comments, I was almost sure that I wouldn't be giving it more than 3 but it deserves the 7, I had lower expectations . It had its slow moments and was not that intense but it was an okay drama.
Many dramas were worse but did not get all this criticism ( heirs, madame antoinette, shopping king louis, warm and cosy,heartstrings, love in the moonlight and so on...).

I've had this drama on my list for a while to watch but honestly avoided watching. I didn't really like the American version of this (the one with Zac Efron), so I was worried how this would. But I was so wrong to leave it there until now!

As with most things Kdrama remakes are more often than not 1000 times better than the other versions made. There was an opportunity for a second chance, hard-working mum, troubled kids and not to forget the romance! From the very beginning, this storyline had me hooked. It touched on a lot of topics like divorce, career struggles, bullying and more, which is why I think this had a lot more impact and gave the chance for this drama to have some really heartwarming moments.

Here are just some more reasons as to why I really enjoyed this drama:
1. The cast was great and they really helped bring this drama to life!
2. There were quite a few twists and turns that I didn't expect coming that really added to the story
3. Glimpses into the future (any more would be a spoiler)
4. Watching Hong Dae Young's relationships with his kids was really the highlight of the drama for me. It was really great to watch both sides of him (old and young) develop and see how his perspective on his children changed the more he got to know them. It was really emotional and left me feeling teary-eyed on occasion.
5. This drama had some really intense moments that drew you in, but I really liked how it was balanced with some well-timed comedy. In particular, there were many scenes with Go Deok Jin made me laugh sooo much!

This is a great drama and if it's not on your list to watch I would highly recommend giving it a go!

The is the only thing I never really got/didn't like and that was how Dae Young was never recognised by his kids even when he enrolled in their school? But you will have to make your own mind up if that annoyed you as much as it did me!

Funny, touching and thoughtful

It is easier for me to criticise than to praise, therefore this review will be rather short.

There are only two things I can criticise:
- First of all, it was too short. A story with such a variety of established characters needs to be told in at least 12 episodes. I assume that was also the original plan, but once again the pandemic changed everything. Really a pity, some characters deserved more screen time.
- Then, probably connected to the first point, the ending felt forced in some ways. Especially Saifah and his mother would have needed more time to give us a convincing reunion in the end. One or two more episodes leading up to it could have saved the ending.

But other than that, I was very surprised by how much more I liked this season compared to the first one. The story always kept a good balance between comedic and genuinely touching moments, it wasn’t unnecessarily over the top. The single storylines were very well interwoven and delivered unexpected twists. All characters seemed interesting (maybe Lookmai stayed a bit “flat”, though) and very real. I believe there is a lot to take away from the story for the viewers, especially the Doctor’s advices. I really liked the overall pace of the storytelling, not too hasty, but also not too slow. And last but not least, the cinematography in this season was on a whole new level! Good choice of colours, thoughtful composition of locations and systematic use of camera angles. And all of this combined with a solid soundtrack.

The first season got an 8.5 from me: enjoyable, but average and not very memorable. Season 2 was a clear improvement and is an absolute recommendation!

all the right elements but no execution

my first review! here goes...

I went into this drama wanting to watch cheesy plot, tbh. so I wasn't super dissappointed by the weird moving romance that actually didn't make much sense considering it went from nothing to "I'll die without you" so fast. even web dramas have more slow-burn than the main couple.

what upsets me about this show is the best and most interesting part about it. the whole time travelling between dimensions thing is absolutely fascinating I was so ready for the actual government conspiracy plot to start moving along and then IT CRASHED AND BURNED AND LEFT ME FOR DEAD.

I cannot even begin to write the essay that is my dissapointment in the ending developments. like oh they go back in time to save themselves? and alter the timeline that was already predetermined? okay, that's cool, I get that, kinda dig it, but that made all of the character development that was there almost for nothing. like the prime minister.

and the absolute tragedy that is the use of complex doppelganger relationships I was so ready for and in the end it failed me too.

I've learned my lesson, you can't expect a complex plot in a cheesy romance. and this kinda was the cheesiest of romances I've seen. its worth a watch if you like that kind of thing, just don't set high expectations.

I AM SO HOOKED IN THIS DRAMA. Even if it's over for like months now, I still rewatch some scenes and some behind the scene videos.

For the cast, Jang Dong Yoon and Kim So Hyun are perfect pair! I can't get over them that I am wishing they'll date in real life! I know Jang Dong Yoon is an amazing actor (and extra adorable and cute) as he did so well in Mr. Sunshine and Just Dance, but he is extra good in this drama. The way he projects as Nokdu and Lady Kim is so convincing that you'll head over heels for him. As for Kim So Hyun, no wonder why she's so persistent in this field. She is really a gem when it comes to acting. For, Yul Mu, I just wished it was done by another actor because JDY and KSH are young-looking and Tae Ho is mature-looking. I have no issue in his acting, just his looks. I just think he is not fit to be the third wheel. (He looks like KSH's older brother, haha!)

For the story, it's so cute. And I love the ending so much! I love that they didn't go to the ending that you know, the lead gets to be the king etc etc.

This will always be on my Top 5 if not Top 3 of my Best Kdrama list.

I am hoping they'll cast JDY and KSH together again! Oh please! Let them win couple of the year award!

Não existem pessoas ruins, apenas pessoas que fizeram escolhas ruins.

A trama conta a história de Je-Hyuk, um famoso jogador de beisebol que está prestes a assinar com um time americano, até que um acidente ocorre e ele descobre que irá perder sua liberdade indo para a prisão. Ele defende sua irmã de uma tentativa de estupro, e o estuprador acaba falecendo.

Comecei achando que seria uma série pesada por se passar em uma prisão e por já começar desse jeito, mas a verdade é que todos os episódios contam com uma BOA dose de humor. Com personagens carismáticos (saudades, Pancada), a autora nos mostra que não existem pessoas ruins, mas sim pessoas que tomam decisões erradas na vida.

A série fala sobre resiliência, amizade e amor. Mesmo em um ambiente que parece nada ter a ver com isso.

Os episódios têm em torno de 1h30 (juro que por mim teria até mais) e a trama se aprofunda em cada um dos personagens para conhecermos suas histórias a fundo. Total o estilo da autora Lee Woo-jeong, que também foi responsável por Reply 1988 e Hospital Playlist. Inclusive, se você viu esses dois, vai se surpreender com vááários atores atuando nessa série também.

Minha única decepção foi o último episódio não ter mostrado MUITA coisa dos personagens que passaram pela vida do Je-Hyuk. Mas fica na imaginação, já que segunda temporada que é bom, nada. Coreia, por que faz isso comigo?
