Both are adaptations of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms following the character of Cao Cao. They focus less on war and action and more on characters and drama.
Both use poetry and symbolism to further the storytelling.
Both explore the melancholy and regrets of the MCs. The way both movies are shot gave me the same calm but also shattering atmosphere around the MCs.
Both portray LGBTQ+ relationships.
Moonlit Winter also depicts the MC’s relationship with her family.

Both are movies set in high school in which the ML is the popular bad boy of the school and the FL has a crush on or is looking for a boyfriend and ends up forming a quirky partnership with the ML that turns into love. Both movies have a similar vibe and last minute happy endings.

-My Liberation Notes is focused on the Jung family, whereas, Pain is about Nam Soon and Dong Hyeon becoming a family with each-other.

-Pain is much more of a romance than My Liberation Notes
-Dong Hyeon is much more extroverted than Kim Ji Won

The stories in both movies are quite similar, revolving around someone who falls in love, but their fate changes when their parents get married, making them step-siblings and living under the same roof. However, the movie Liar x Liar portrays a good ending, showing how they can truly fall in love even though fate has already shifted. And the story of Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare focuses more on how that fate cannot be changed, and they must shift their feelings and look for someone else who is better.
same vibes ??? i love them both bro theyre so cute and made me so sad???????
- same vibes

The similarities range from the story, the characters and probably the rediscovery path of the FL It's interesting to see how she recaps her memories and at the same time creates new ones with people that "know" her before the amnesic.
Friends to lovers but make it gay. They both have two main female characters who are friends at first but then end up falling for each other and find strenght in that relationship to face life's hardships.
- Crown prince MLs (ML in Kingdom, SML in WofD) (In Kingdom he's the crown prince but should be the king and vice versa in WotD)
- Said royal ML is forced to leave the capital, survive out in the wilderness, run for his life and ultimately build up a force of resistance.
- Weak, pampered royal ML that grows up and matures throughout the story
- Hardened soldier/warrior SML that dislikes royalty but comes around (SML in Kingdom, TML in WotD)
- Dark, gritty and realistic tone and aesthetics with quite some gore.
- Action, adventure, war, survival
- Commentary about class and social issues
Main differences is that in Kingdom is a zombie disaster drama while WofD is an adventure/surviva/war film

Both movies are about Chinese end up on a train in Russia. One is serious crime, the other one is comedy.
from both of these drama stories are a bit similar, which is about the female main character how to approach a guy who is difficult for us to approach and also has many fans at school. I recommend this movie because it has the same setting and theme.
