I realized I'm a sensitive b**ch.

How do you turn a cold hearted man like my gay a$$ into a sensitive b**ch? Show me a drama that constantly reminds me of "Love Sick."

To be honest, I've been trying to write a review for this one for three weeks already and have failed miserably because I don't know where and how to begin. Writer's block, everyone. I'll try once again hoping it works out this time.

2gether has gotten people divided into the ones who love it and the ones disappointed with it. I see myself leaning towards the ones who "like it for what it is." Maybe it's the fact that it is literally "Love Sick" reimagined or it is just because I see a lot of potential in the story. I don't know, but the point is: I can't come to dislike it.

Beginning with the story. It is a 100% slice of life drama that shows you the everyday life of college students as they fall in love, struggle, mess up (constantly), make a drama about it, and try (try?) to learn from their experiences. There are a lot of details that made it hard for me not to continuously compare it with "Love Sick" because they are very similar to each other; however, I do not necessarily find that to be a bad thing. I mean, what drama hasn't taken inspiration from it? I'll wait. The only problem with this is that 2gether also added the things that aren't that good about Love Sick.

There isn't anything that can be called memorable. The life of the characters is normal and bland, but real. Plenty of authors who write BL novels get this strange misconception that gay people have this super special life, so it was appealing to see a story that was leaning towards the "normal" side of the spectrum. The series also began with a strong plot that promised a rom-com style of writing; even so, it didn't meet the standards you would expect.

The pacing was decent until we reach episode 10. From then on it does look like the editors rushed through quite a bit of story that didn't allow the viewer to sympathize and connect with important dramatic scenes. As soon as drama began, everything was resolved shortly. Honestly, this is my biggest problem. This series called for a longer run with at least 20 episodes to really build up for those important scenes. Plenty of characters and story deserved to be fleshed out more and was, unfortunately, cut short so they can mostly focus on the main couple. Tragic.

It was a shame seeing good actors being overshadowed by the main couple because of the editing (and most likely the writers that only focused on them as well). Toptap, my baby, I love you and I wish I could've seen more of you. At this point I wonder why were there even other couples in here since we barely had any time with them.

By the way, that eyebrow guy? I don't even know his name, but I could not stop staring at his super thick eyebrows. Trim them, man, I promise it won't make you any less of a man. Just do it for the sake of everyone who loves a good eyebrow.

From the main couple, Sarawat was the character I liked the most (the flashbacks of episode 11, y'all. My gay heart couldn't take it). The transition between his bad attitude when we first meet him to his more open self was one of the smoothest character developments I've seen in a BL drama. Truly something to pay attention to. Additionally, the chemistry between Win and Bright was decent. From what I saw they looked pretty comfortable with each other in most scenes. Win was a good actor despite this being his first professional work; his character was believable and natural until the end and was not overshadowed by Bright. I blame the editing for whatever happened to them after they became a couple.

Moving on, I like it when dramas showcase something specific about things that you may not find important at the beginning. "Until We Meet Again" was constantly taking its time to showcase traditional Thai desserts, and 2gether wanted to showcase music! Scrubb's music, to be precise. The soundtrack was beautiful, it was used correctly, and flowed nicely on each episode. But I am angry that the album was missing all the Scrubb songs when I bought it.

Overall I will recommend this drama despite its flaws. It was popular for a reason and that should not be taken for granted. Worth of a rewatch.

A dream and a forbidden love

Every year, the music industry launches numerous boy bands around the world to make their international debut. Other industries, also dedicated to entertainment, such as television, always at the forefront, have not been left behind, in the effort to tell us about the creation and evolution of these groups.
And if, along with this, they address stories of overcoming and forbidden love between members of said bands, the public awaits them with greater interest.
That is why today we remember 'Boyband The Series', a Thai audiovisual characterized by its excellent performances, a dream soundtrack and enviable scenery.
Its premiere took place in February 2023, and with 6 episodes lasting approximately 45 minutes each, we are introduced to Top, played by Phiphat Wichasu (Zubom), in his first acting role, a young man who has had to make an effort in life to be able to pay the debt contracted by his father, in addition to paying for the medical treatment of his mother, a disabled woman after suffering a traffic accident, and also paying for the education of his minor sister. To get ahead, he has had to work as a waiter, elephant keeper and sword fighter.
Top will have the opportunity to travel from Khon Kaen, Isaan province, to Bangkok, to become an artist under World Star, the company of Khun Serena (Metinee Kingpayome - Lukkade), the queen of the entertainment industry, through a singing, dancing and acting contest, which in addition to artistic skills, will evaluate the behavior and attitudes of the contestants.
This trip into the competition represents a new stage in his life for Top, full of surprises that he is willing to accept without hesitation, because in addition to competing against a hundred young people to obtain one of the six positions in dispute, he will meet Juju (Theerachet Yanwantana - Jaymin), the impulsive son of a wealthy family, with whom our protagonist will live a forbidden romance, because the contest imposes a rule on the participants: "Artists are prevented from establishing romantic relationships with each other."
With a chemistry that transcends the screen, Top will help Juju deal with her main problem: her father's refusal to accept her fulfilling her dream of becoming an idol.
One of the aspects that attract attention in this dramatic, romantic, musical and youth comedy with LGBTIQ+ themes is Top's constant race in pursuit of Juju. The unforgettable sequence of Zubom on the motorcycle arriving, with delays, to the place of the band's debut, among the first scenes, while the music directed and composed by Terdsak Janpan for the series plays in the background, is one of the vertices about the that a plot is articulated, which will lead us to other chases, such as that of Top behind Juju's car in an unfortunate first encounter in which the two come out as enemies.
There will also be other chases, such as the chase that is not after Juju, but with Juju, to rescue Juju's bag that the motorcyclists intend to steal, or the race to prevent Juju from fighting with other contestants, due to the risk of being disqualified.
Another race is when Top follows Juju to the latter's mother's house in Krabi, the boy requiring his authorization to continue in the competition.
Each step in those runs brings them closer to each other, and not only from the point of view of shortening the distance.
Top and Juju are joined by Jeff (Arm Boonyavanit - AP), the typical prankster that everyone will want to have by their side to have fun; Ryu (Pakpoom Juanchainat - Art), the famous dancer with many followers on social networks, Ken (Intouch Kooramasuwan - Intouch), the brilliant singer who will fall in love with the singing teacher, and Atom (Wasin Suungkavathin - Aom), the boy seriously focused on his art.
These young people, along with Sun (Natthanun Kurusatienpron - Man), Kampun (Phutawan Yamsai - Tawan); Tiger (Phicaphop Khamnanak - Auto), Pokpong (Patchapol Bhamornbuth - Tong) and Yok (Athiphat Arkrawarachotihiran - Nice), will fight to join the world-class boy band, and will undergo intense training in singing, dancing and acting, as part of the fierce competition that would allow them to achieve their dreams.
As in all competitions, there will be envy and professional jealousy that will play dirty and, through cheating and disloyalty, will try to get others to abandon. Likewise, there are those who will rejoice in the stumble and fall of their rival so that they do not continue in the fight, but there are also those with wise advice and timely encouragement, those who will not mind helping those who do not master the technique or those who He has suffered a blow to his foot that prevents him from dancing well.
We are not looking at the classic BL (hence surely the low rating of the drama), because 'Boyband The Series' aims much higher by exposing problems inherent to the entertainment industry, such as the corrupting power of money to buy artists trained in other agencies , the pressure from managers towards future idols with promises that are not always fulfilled, topics that are rarely addressed in series of the genre, with the exception of 'Call It What You Want I' and some others.
The series, directed by Dome Jade Bunyoprakarn ('My Dear Gangster Oppa', 'Together with Me', 'Bad Romance'), also reflects another theme equally little or poorly portrayed in Thai BL. I mean homophobia. Top and Juju's budding love relationship is used for the purposes of not only causing harm to them, but also to Khun Serena.
And here the series contributes to the struggle of the Thai LGBTIQ+ community, because although discrimination against the members of that human group persists in that country, the initial scenes of the series, which take us to the moment of the meeting of both young people before their debut , shows us that the revelation of their romance will not stop them from moving forward.
Two other main characters are Madame Pauly (Anon Saisangcharn - Pu), in charge of convincing Khun Serena to return to talent training after a period away from the agency she created, after the breakup of her marriage to Phanu (Maethanee Buranasiri - Nino), a manager in the entertainment industry to whom anything goes if he can punish his ex-wife.
Madame Pauly also has the mission of searching for contest candidates and serving as a judge for the competitions.
The writing of the scripts is carried out by Piangpaitoon Satrawaha – May), known for being the screenwriter of 'Naughty Babe' and 'Hormones Season 2', among other series, who in 'Boyband The Seires' plays the judge and teacher My .
Throughout the series, Serena, Pauly and My act as judges and guides in the training of the contestants, imitating the style of programs like "American Idols": while the former acts as an infallible judge, with a reputation for being a "strong hand" , there are always some performances that allow us to see their most sensitive and fair side, because although difficult to convince, they have sound recommendations that are usually accepted and applied by all those who aspire to join the band.
Everything seems fine to My, while Madame Pauly is the one who tries to be objective and lets herself be carried away by her criteria, to which she is always faithful. The actor who plays Madame does not believe in gender stereotypes that pigeonhole men who play very effeminate characters, like his. Lukkade and Pu's performances spice up the series.
'Boyband The Series' darkens in the final episode, with a discussion on stage after the winning team is announced, which contributes little to the closure of the story. It is very unlikely that what happened took place in real life, much less in the grotesque way it was portrayed. These disputes are ultimately aired in court.
Another reason that worked against 'Boyband The Series' was that it aired alongside other popular ThaiBL, such as 'Never Let Me Go', 'My School President' and 'Moonlight Chicken'. It is also not helped by the difficulties that the public has in accessing audiovisuals with English subtitles.
The series brings us as a bonus the possibility of meeting several BL stars who show their faces as guest artists. These include Copter Phanuwat, Bas Suradej Pinnirat, Max Kornthas Rujeerattanavorapan, Fluke Natouch Siripongthon and Peter Knight.
Love triangles, forbidden romances, infatuations between contestants and teachers, seductions of judges to try to be favored by them, villains who steal talents just to cause harm, young people who fight to achieve their dreams, self-realization, personal and spiritual growth, diversity Sexuality, acceptance, homophobia, among other themes, appear in a very well written script, despite the aforementioned slips and others.
Top and Juju have a dream. The realization of it comes to the first almost by chance, when he no longer had hope after his uncertain initial steps in Korea. Juju won't stop until he reaches it. And both manage, by putting one brick on top of another, to build together that dream life that grows together with romantic love.

Maaaaaan!!!! Oh hell naw. Guess who has every light on in the house now? That's right. Me. Guess who is about to spend the next 239742938 hour watching every happy disney movie? Meeeeee. Guess who probably won't sleep tonight. Right again, ME!

Y'all. Holy crap. This movie was freaking amazing. You already know I have a weak spot for horror/paranormal shows. I'm also very judgmental about them as well. I hate the cheesy-corny feel to a lot of them. I love the scared feeling I get from a really good horror movie and 곤지암 really delivered on that feeling. What is even more crazy is with a lot of movies like this you can clearly tell it's fake - like a director and everything is behind the camera... Dude.... This movie legit had me wondering if what I was watching was really happening or not. WHICH IS SAYING SOMETHING!!! Because one actor (위하준) is one actor I really like. So I know if anything crazy happened, pretty sure I would know. Haha! But that just shows how real this actually felt! I actually can't tell you the last time I watched a movie/show that felt that real. I won't lie, I spent a good chunk of my time watching through my fingers and I still jumped like crazy!! When I say I jumped, I mean I yeeted everything in my lap nearly across the room. Don't judge me.

The acting in this movie... Oh my gosh they all need awards. I think now every movie like this will end up compared to this movie. Haha I can't stress this enough.... WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!

Also can we take a moment to talk about this is a actual real place? Because... that just blows my mind. Not sure why. There are tons of movies about real places like this and none of them blow my mind quite like this. Now, is the story the same as the movie storyline? I'm honestly not sure so I can't tell you. But I will say it has peaked my interest and I plan on reading up about this place. Will I ever visit it? Lol Nope. You couldn't pay me enough. This movie traumatized me.

Cosa aspettate a guardarlo?

Not an outstanding show but it was good in some way and painful in others.

This show was a hard one for me. It took me months to watch it off and on.

I think the last 3 episodes just ticked me off to the point that I wanted to shoot Woo Yeon! Who ever wrote her part should be shot! She was really really selfish in the end. She pushed him to go, promised to wait for him, and then started to blame him for going on the trip and leaving her instead of being honest with him. She was the one with the problem because she had thoughts of breaking up from the get go. She had no faith in him or his love for her and did not really believe he loved her to begin with. She made promises she did not keep and made him suffer and take the blame for it all. And if she was having that hard of a time why why WHY do she just not drop everything and fly to him??!! I would have dropped it all to be with him and THEN fulfill my dreams once we were back from the trip! Why does the guy always have to drop it all and run to the girl? So stupid! She turned it all on him and took no blame for her part. Even when he told her how he felt about their breakup over the phone and why he said what he said, she still ended it and blamed him for it all. 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️😡 Totally not mature at all!
Don’t get me started on the other girl who had been with her boyfriend for 10 yrs and then dumped him. Has anyone ever heard of bearing each others burdens makes it better and helps you grow closer. You have the support you need through those tough times. In the end and I mean IN THE END they all made up and were happy. Typical drama script.🤦🏼‍♀️

Acting/Cast- I liked all the actors. I have seen many of them in other shows. They did a great job in pulling off their characters. I have no complaints in that area.

Ok so the story was not my favorite at all! Would I rewatch it? Probably not. This show was to painful in the immature department.🙄

Remember this is my thoughts and opinions. At least watch it ounce and get your own opinion. 😉

Meolodrama

I want to start this review by saying the genre MEOLODRAMA is not for me.
So this is "me not the show" situation. I didn't know the genre going in and part two definitely was MEOLODRAMA heavy.

One & Only is a historical, war, Meolodrama. This is Part one of the story/plot.

Forever and Ever is a modern day Meolodrama. This is part two of the story/plot.

Technology you don't have to watch Part One to fully understand Part Two but it's advised.

PROS:
◇Bai Lu is an amazing actress and I will ALWAYS give all her projects a try just for her. She was in the 1st Cdrama I ever watched so I'm a huge fan. ♡
◇Some of the side characters especially the kind ones. Loved them and wanted to protect them.
◇The OST
◇The Reborn trope always a fan.

CONS:
◇I didn't like the Meolodrama elements of it. (Again that's on me for not double checking the genre before going in)
◇Amazing actors but sadly didn't feel the chemistry between them.

The only reason I finished it was because I was promised a happy ending. Also that part two was lighter. Will it wasn't yes the LEADS got a happy ending but part two felt even more sad then part one at times.

Overall if you are a fan of Bai Lu and are trying to watch all her projects then maybe watch. If not maybe pass on it 🙈

Also many Trigger/ Content Warnings please look into before starting.

Typical Zombie entertainemnt with its own spin.

Working front line during Covid19 made me hesitant watch this drama since the story line was linked to Covid but I am so glad I decided to watch it. I love the zombie genre and the lead actors!

It follows the typical zombie drama plot of focusing more on the interaction between the people and realizing who the monsters really are.

There is limited romance but I felt the chemistry between the leads was so strong. There is just really no time for romance and I never felt bored with the drama. I can't say I like many of the characters other than the leads. The ones I do like aren't in it very much.

The music is not amazing but is good at setting the scene.

I found the ending satisfying except I wanted to see more of one character but don't want to give any spoilers. There is closure to the ending and I would hate for there to be a sequel.

Perfect+1

First of all idk why most reviews hating on this season and the new female lead.
But anyway i think it's a really good second season to end it and everything was as the first one the acting and the story i even think this season was a bit better in term of the visual effects and also the main character was giving a more Spotlight as we see his character progression, so for me i loved and enjoyed every bit of it.

This drama took me a while to finish because somewhere in the middle made me scared to finish it..(watch it if you want to know ;)) But overall, the creativity of this drama was unique and mesmerizing. Somewhere between all of the episodes made me realize how important life is, and how we should cherish it as if we are going to die tomorrow. (I know we are in quarantine, but there is still stuff we can do even if we are locked down) The actors and actresses really portrait their character significantly. The story is somewhat similar to the 'Hotel Del Luna' but things can't really be the same especially if it's different characters and settings. The cinematography was insane!!!!, the funny moments with Grim and Goblin were hilarious which is the reason why I started watching this drama. The ending kind of made me confused but I sorta understand where they are going at... but I wish Sunny and 'KIM WOO BIN' had more screen time and more "dates". I find their relationship very rom-com -idy than Eun Tak and Goblin. But I still like the romances that they have. The way they first met, first love, and first sadness....? This drama also showed me how dedicated he was to Eun Tak, he was patient to wait for her even if he is a 'LONELY GOD'
This quote; "There is no sadness that lasts for eternity. There is no love that lasts for eternity either." and Eun Tak voted for "Sad love"... This quote teared me up because the commitment she is doing is just sooo amazing and a life lesson. I wish that for anyone who is looking for love or is in love, I wish for yall to be dedicated as them... This is true love!!!
Overall, this made me cry!, laugh, smile, cringe, and made me jealous xD
After watching this, it inspired me to keep going and push on in life!
The comedy in this drama will stay with me forever! HAHAH!
I also loved how Deok-Hwa is the pabo person in the drama...evne though it's mostly Grim and Goblin.
After watching Sungjae in this drama, I began to miss 'WE GOT MARRIED' with JOY T.T
Anyways! This was a fun and memorable moment of me watching GOBLIN.
Watching this drama took me almost 4 MONTHS HAHAHAHAH.
THANK GOD I FINISHED IT THO!!!
AND THAnk you for the ending <3....teared me up but that was a ----- ending <3 <3

Chinese Sports dramas are all the rage and have been so for quite a while which is pretty good! The stories are a bit like diet food, bland and in dire need of seasoning as well as serious acting chops but they’re silly enough to be worldly entertaining, with good visual leads and passable annoying supporting characters. It is exceedingly fortunate that those interferences are incautiously half-witted not trying hard enough to provoke the audience into a bathroom sprint to purge all the unnecessary regressive idiotic mental delusions that have been fed to their cerebrums.

My Unicorn Girl is just another cross-dressing drama, bye bye hello Bromance, one set at the ice-rink of a university, hiya Skate into Love, except that:

Yeah, the concept of a girl cross-dressing as a boy has been repeatedly revamped in the contemporary online to online society alluding to an idealized fictionalized version of offline to offline life that is as farfetched as it is tangible and authentic, at least at some point. Imaginaries can be pink and cute inside in a white and blue ice-hockey outfit to fulfil a dream, unbeknownst the later awareness that reality can and might surpass any giggling dumdeedum da-dumdeedum butterfly fantasies.

Pi Ya Nuo and Du Zi Feng – by no way connected to Si Feng in Love & Redemption – fall for one another. Sang Tian and Wen Bing do the same. Tang Xue and Li Yu Bing, it was complicated. Ironically it shouldn’t be considering human evolution. Bromance dates from 2015, Skate into Love, 2020 and My Unicorn Girl also 2020 but is the dìdi of the three. Growth ought to be a progression, not a regression, that’s within the sphere of mathematical science.

Sang Tian is a Pi Ya Nuo younger version. A mascarade of a girl cosplaying into a boy who falls head over trainers in love with an actual one, Wen Bing. Handsome, smart, perfect men are an ubiquity to utopianism, a mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the egotistical of them all as if that mattered at all in an absurd monarchically follower created binarism to depreciate differences whilst exhibiting them. Wen Bing, is as graceful as an unpolished brick surface with inner sophistication and taste with his general prosopagnosia and specific Sang Tian face recognition. This is beautifully sweet as love, love is its own recognition even when in hiding.

Parallels that are like candy crush in their break the mould similarities when in the end it all comes down to execution, technique, persistence and the ability to keep fighting the odds to succeed, with blantant disregard for tv ratings in a very fortunate manner; a test of time in a demure summon for gender equality and treatment... risking the ire of si jie mentors.

My Unicorn Girl doesn’t have the flair of media buzz protruding from every social media cell on face of the dramaland's earth like Skate into Love did, neither a centimetre of the buzz, which says a lot both in a yin and yang emphatic vintage dualism. Skate into Love at one end of the spectrum, Bromance and My Unicorn Girl at the other end, the underdogs.

How trilling! No, there’s nothing remotely trilling or new about Unicorn Girl, unless it actually contained a unicorn rather than being the name of the team and a symbol of love and unity. Everything else exists already including good actors, rephrasing good performers, not necessarily young idols who play poker faces at acting.

Darren Chen expanded his entertainment drama presences that Meteor Garden’s popularity trampolined him into. He might have portrayed a stoic unflappable character whom Wen Bing mirrors to the bone in a profusion of ways including, income, social status and mannerisms that they might as well be carbon copies of one another in different societal settings. Even the zigzagged confusion between the appalling way of visually expressing his feelings and the extreme effort to make them stand out were a hit. What was amiss in My Unicorn Girl was the nonexistent second male lead attitude in a male lead role. People have flaws. Characters have flaws. Everyone has flaws.

Sebrina Chen on the other hand despite not having Darren’s female equivalent status quo in the industry nor the imperial visibility to stand out yet brought vibes of Megan Lai's acting including in her onscreen chemistry with Baron Chen, here, rather, Sebrina with Darren, which works marvelously like two witty peas in a lotus pod. It’s so interesting and jovial to watch their banter episode in, episode out that at the end of the series, the only regret is that is over. Bromance transmutted into true love. The end.

Overall rating: 10 out of 10.

Plot holes due to memory loss

I watched the entire drama of 36 episodes in 1 1/2 weeks.  The actors were interesting and good looking.  The setting, Lan City, is a perfect, beautiful, clean, spacious city, and the police station is high end.  This is a review of the entire drama; Seasons 1, 2 and 3.

Story:
The story begins in the current time, with some mysterious reference to five years prior. As the drama moves forward, we learn that the main characters have wide gaps in their memories of five years prior. No surprise! A number of Alphabet Villains are introduced strategically with every new crime in Lan City, and it is obvious that they were involved with those lost memories.

As the drama reaches the last stretch, the scriptwriter takes a flashback (aka time jump backward) to five years prior, to explain the Alphabet Villains’ megalomaniacal master plan.  This is spread over five or six episodes needlessly, when we just want to see the conclusion of the drama.

Acting:
The casting is very good.  Bai Yu is exceptional as Han Chen, who is a knight in shining armor.  Yong Rang is not exceptional as Bai Jin Xi/Su Mian. The character is obnoxious and egocentric, and chatty.  She also hits her subordinate throughout the drama, which is a form of violence in the workplace. She stops being obnoxious, but is still egocentric and chatty.  The three supporting actors who play the young and handsome supporting Black Shield detectives, are very efficient.  The teamwork of the Black Shield members and their supervisor is exceptional.

The supporting actors who play the young and handsome Alphabet Villains are efficient. The teamwork of the villains falls apart.   The old adage, “ Too many cooks spoil the broth." comes to mind.

Music:
A very good O.S.T.!

Rewatch value:
Should I forget that I watched the drama, I might end up watching it again (...Lost memory! Muahahahaha!).

Overall:
The drama is praiseworthy. The production values are high, and all the actors deliver very good performances.  The plot is clever, but the script is confusing at times, as it randomly jumps backward in time, and the villains keep popping up at the oddest times.  The script would have been solid if the drama had started out the gate with the villains hatching their diabolical master plan, the main leads losing their memories, and the time jump to five years later, when the drama originally began.
