If you like a school drama wherein male-female relationships are prohibited, you will like the other drama. It won't be a repetition of the plot at all since the genre is really far from each other. RNS is comedy while RBR is mystery and a lot more serious. Also, Honda Kyoya is in both dramas!

Whoa, I can't believe someone hasn't made this recommendation. Anyway, both are romance dramas involving a main lead who had experienced hearing loss. Both dramas portrayed how an acquired hearing loss affects not just one's day-to-day life but also relationships and their preference to communicate.

Despite the main plot difference, Umi no hajimari's first 2 episodes (I love ep 2 btw) reminded me of the plot of Ano Ko no Kodomo since both are about having the same troubles of unexpected pregnancy.

Although they have a different plotline, Kimi ga Kokoro wo Kuretakara reminds me of Lovely Runner in many ways. The same umbrella (although different colors) reference, meeting up when they are older, FL doing the "work" to save ML's life. Those kind of stuff. Anyway, the overall mood of KGKWK is much more melodramatic (despite having many crying scenes in LR too) and there is much more trauma esp in FL end.

If you liked Kotaro, I bet you would love the Yuzuki brothers! Similarly, children from those dramas had 'lost' their family at a young age and the drama revolves around the relationships they had formed. This is what I search for a slice of life family dramat but both offers extra cuteness since the main cast are these children who are really great in acting for such a young age. I would often break a tear but the over-all atmosphere of these two dramas is warmth (and cute).

It’s similar that it had the same style of humor. Like they are people, they enjoy the same style of humor. Both are funny dramas but DFF is more romance-centered while Gaus is more centered on each office worker and their life in the office.
Gaus also has romance too btw.

Both are dramas wherein the FL pursues her dream career. In My Second Aoharu, it's becoming an architect, meanwhile in Doctor Cha, it's to practice her medical degree and to restart her medical resident course.

Both:
- dramas that involves time travel
- female MCs lost their mom and met the younger version of their mom after time travel
- made the main character see their family beyond as their role in their family so this can make you appreciate your family members better

MPS has a murder mystery thing going on while GBC is about marriage issues, very different but both are innately heartwarming dramas.

The main genre of these two dramas are a bit different because MPS has a murder mystery going on but these two have the ff in common:
- both made the main character see their family beyond as their role in their family so this can make you appreciate your family members better
- interactions between daughter(and or) son and the father in their teens (well in18 again, just physically)

Both:
- dating shows which aims for marriage and specifically in Love Village case, their final partner in life
- involves cohabitation (like any other dating show) but what I like in Love Village, the daily tasks are centered on living a life in the village like room renovation and growing their own food (although they buy grocery items too), so it felt that the relationship seems more organic(?)

I highly recommend Love Village to anyone who prefers more vulnerability and more emotional journey of people finding love. I cant believe I cried this much watching this dating show.

I wouldn't say that the couple in these two dramas have similar relationship but these dramas both:
- main couple have different career but they kinda work side by side with each other
- one of the main characters is very optimistic
- good friendship (Momoka with Miyuki & Issei with Haru)
- have a couple of goodhearted people that sometimes you question how is everyone just so good-natured that there are rarely indifferent people, tbh some may find it off putting but these people are good role models that I want to emulate them.
