Watched in 2024

First drama of the year, an average but nice to watch summery group of friends drama. Not very memorable in the long run but relaxing and fun. Watched in January, completed on the 29th.

A revenge-tagged business drama with romance, that does sismance very well! It's not about a group of women being friends from the start, but there are many roads that lead to friendship. It could very well have had "Sisterhood" as a title instead of Alliance. The romance was nice but just a bonus. Started in November 2023, completed January 31st. 

Surprisingly good (with some silly element) about female friendship and ambition, without betrayal and evil backstabbing or obsessive jealousy. Very refreshing! Completed February 5.

A very good drama (short for a kdrama) that I'm glad I watched. Watched in February,

One of the most pointless draggy dramas I have ever watched. Couple without chemistry, dumb FL, insanely exaggerated evil SFL (with obligatory evil old man in tow), lots of cringey scenes, ugly cheap-looking costumes etc, and SML has weird hair (but then again, his nickname was Weirdo so I guess it suited him). Started it (under the impression that it was a good drama) sometime in the late summer last year, didn't complete it until February 25th. 

It started out like a good mystery but quickly became a lot less interesting. Also it has one of my least favourite romance tropes, and a lot of dumb things going on. Watched while it aired, completed Feb 26.

Not my thing at all. Watched in February, completed on the 27th.

A very nice watch. Sad, but also fun and heartwarming, about friendship most of all. Completed March 17th.

Cinderella wants revenge and finds love in the process! Enjoyable melodrama that requires not much thinking (maybe better without), it doesn't pretend to be anything more than what it is. Completed March 23rd.

Enjoyable, at least the first two thirds of it, but also forgettable. Completed March 27th.

Okay slice of life with friendship and very light romance. Completed April 1st.

A mediocre melodrama with a twisted plot but too dumb or childish characters to make it fun. Watched because it was recommended to me... but someone who apparently didn't understand me at all. Completed on April 13. 

Average, and a bit all over the place, but not bad. 

Nice romance, good message, not too long drama! Completed on May 6th. 

Another recommendation that I didn't like. Boring, draggy, bland romance that didn't make me feel a thing... but an intersting glimpse into the patriarchal honour culture side of the country that isn't always so obvious in dramas. Started on my birthday, completed May 23rd. 

This was a very good drama, one of the few wuxia or xianxia dramas I've really liked. Wonderful scenery, cinematography and CGI, not too interesting general plot and some exaggerated silliness and stuff that is hard to understand (like how immortals are, in fact, mortal...), BUT such an amazing chemistry. The couple was on fire from day one, even though it was kind of slowburn, there was hotness! Great acting from the leads and great characters. I will remember them as one of my favourite couples.

Average historical romance, not bad but not in any way memorable. My understanding of baduk/go went from 0 to 1 on a scale from 1-10.

I started it because someone said it was similar to Meet Yourself. That was one of my top 3 dramas last year. Yes, it is similar (in more ways that the ML), but not half as endearing and heartwarming. There were things I liked about it, some more annoying things... overall more or less my type of drama and enjoyable. Completed July 5th.

Nice and fun feelgood drama about friendship and dreams. Enjoyable, but would have been better with fewer and shorter episodes. Watched in summer, completed July 22.

Good start, entertaining revenge melo with a smart (too smart?) FL. Boring last episodes (court politics and war) and zero chemistry between the leads. It was okay, don't regret watching.

Too little chocolate, too loud, cliché and melodramatic. First love/one fateful childhood meeting + hate to love all in one drama. I¨m glad there were actually some things I liked in the drama. Watched between July 24 - August 2nd. 

So far the best drama of the year. :) A very lovable group of friends drama with time travel. A nie surprise, I'm glad I watched it! Started it early August, completed the night before first day of work (August 12th). 

Very cute and heartwarming drama about strangers who fall in love and about friendship and moving on. Watched in August, completed on the 23rd. 

Pretty much a waste of time. Not what I expect from a vampire and I was surprisingly happy that there was no romance. It would have been creepy, since the FL is so naive and simple minded that she sometimes seems like a 12-year-old, but people keep insisting that she's older so maybe she has an intellectual disability. Watched in September.

A nice drama about family and love, different couples and different problems, all wrapped up sweetly in the end. Watched in September.

It was pretty nice. My type of drama (slowpaced, slowburn, liked the style and the characters) but didn't connect to it all the way emotionally. Watched in October.

Literally just a piece of fluff. If it were longer I would have dropped it after the first episode, but it was cute. Watched in October, completed on the 30th.

I enjoyed it. It was easy to watch, exciting with twists and turns and secrets and relationships... Some things seemed more than a little exaggerated, but the drama was entertaining.
