Best Endings

showcases the 2 inidividuals we felt broken thorugh the show....overcoming their hurdles and becoming better out of it. 

the first show that showed me that damn sad ending can legit work if done right.

i dont know why its here but I did remember enjoying the show.

it was only by my 2nd re-watch that i started truly appreciating the way the show ended.

the way the show wrapped up with a final good bye btw leads and an open-ending crosswalk scene was the reason its on the list.

the last clip you see after 16ep of slow burn stoic acting, is the smiles of the Mleads and then the FL running playfully towards the ML. great cap off

where it works as a sad end is when all characters are shown as NPCs so everything was in a game, and to me that is meta like how we become fond of characters in games we play.  the short special that trys to break that sort of sad end by making the ML a real person begone I don't believe you to be canon

ending with the bromance handshake scene of the 2 leads was both cathartic and a chefs kiss.

great sad ending especially if stopped at ep13 perfect, yet ep14 adds context and clears up some of the left threads considering its 30min run time its shorter than many climaxes of shows so good ending to great sad drama.
