Watched | 2021

This was such a great crime drama.

Usually in crime dramas (*cough* Tunnel *cough*) I get so annoyed at things that doesn't make any sense, like them never wearing gloves even when investigating a crime scene or blood looking like red lipstick. This drama has none of those moments for me and that was such a relief. Don't get me wrong, I loved Tunnel (and others) but it felt good being able to enjoy a crime drama without those distractions for once.

As many crime dramas it was pretty predictable, but I don't think that it took away from the story, it was still a great watch.

I absolutely loved the music, it just fit the mood of the drama so well and always managed to get me excited.

I really enjoyed this movie, it felt different from other gangster movies and I liked the way the story unfolded. The acting was great and I loved the moody cinematography.

This drama is such a gem. A perfect mix of crime and comedy, that together creates a classical cartoon feeling in the best way possible.

Honestly a brilliant drama. Sometimes predictable, but it didn't take away from the story or suspension. My biggest complaint is the last episode that contained elements (elements I struggle to enjoy in general) that were totally unnecessary to the story and could've been skipped all together. Up until then it was amazing.

I absolutely love the storytelling and emotion in tthis movie. It doesn't try too hard to be moving, instead the problems and feelings of the characters feels very real. It was heartwarming and easy to watch. Without a doubt my favourite Filipino movie.
