Gay movies/dramas
A list of all the gay/lgbtq+ movies/dramas I've watched so far.
Any censored romances will be specified as such, as will any series where I've written too much, and therefore had to post a review instead.
In regards to recommendation specifics:
Yes: Either means that I really enjoyed it or that I believe most other people would like it.
Yes and no: Either means that I didn't particularly enjoy it or that there were some messages/choices I didn't like.
No: Either means that it was a sad/tragic ending, not really a BL, or that it was plain bad.
I also feel the need to add that, obviously, my opinions can differ from others, and my reviews are solely based on MY feelings. Maybe you would thoroughly enjoy a series/movie that I, for lack of a better word, disliked. My reviews can also be quite harsh sometimes. I am just a person who feels very deeply about, well, most things. I don't (usually) mean to offend anyone, and I respect that we all have our own feelings about stuff. The last thing I want is for someone to write something negative/hateful on this list or on anything that has to do with me. I do NOT want it in my life, so if you do disagree with my way of thinking/doing things, please just pretend I don't exist. Thanks!
(Can you tell I'm terrified of judgment and criticism?)

It had basically nothing to do with the first season. Ji Woo and Lee Ro A had an insanely insignificant cameo, and that was it. The main couple in this season was fairly bland. They did have chemistry, but their kisses were laughable. The other two couples were far more advanced in their intimacy. I also thought both Lee Hyun and Kim An were rather boring characters. It took me a while, but Joo Hyuk and Sung Min ended up being my favorites. Sung Min was cute, and Joo Hyuk was a bit naughty. I also ended up liking Ma Roo a lot, Min Woo not as much. At first, I thought he was sweet and innocent, but then he called Ma Roo a slut and pretended to date a girl just to make Ma Roo jealous. That's fucked up. That's not to say I didn't like them together, though. I just didn't expect him to be like that. Anyway, sadly, it was quite amateurish at times. You could literally see the microphone in at least two different scenes. I also caught J-min looking into the camera a few times. That said, The acting was actually good overall. The plot was a bit confusing and also nothing new.
There were kisses and a steamy scene.
Happy ending.

I would have liked to rate it higher because the acting was good, they had chemistry, the kisses weren't absolute shit, the characters were flawed yet likable, and the story was different than usual. So, why didn't I? The plot was fresh, but it was also hard to follow at times and sometimes downright incomprehensible. I didn't get much of the final episode. I was just happy they were together. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied, though. I can probably look past most of it.
There were kisses.
Happy ending.

It was probably the cutest project Gun and Off have worked on together. Off got to play a character that wasn't an asshole. I thought the plot was fun. I guess the alien represented Off's crush? I would love to know what happened when he confessed.
No kiss.

It was less problematic than Mame's previous works, but there were still many icky moments. As always with Mame, she had to use the wife thing. I fucking repel it. I can't believe she and many others still get away with shit like that. Rain and Phayu's relationship, in general, felt very uncomfortable. Rain was so childlike and dense. I felt like Phayu took advantage of that. Sky and Prapai kind of bored me. They were less problematic than Phayu and Rain, that much is for sure. I can't help but feel weird about the trauma aspect of their story, though. I simply don't like how Mame always manages to romanticize such things. Her mind is troubling, to say the least. Of course, it's okay to portray trauma in movies and BL's, but she does it in a way that makes it feel almost desirable. Like as if most victims/survivors will be sent a guardian angel like Prapai. I'm aware that I'm overly critical of Mame, but the woman freaks me out. Anyway, the acting was fine. It felt somewhat stiff/forced at times. The chemistry was good with both couples. It was just the writing that made it seem less so. Lastly, the ending was so abrupt.
There were kisses and steamy scenes.
Happy ending.

To be honest, my rating is mostly based on the acting and the couple's chemistry because they had plenty of that. I was actually quite surprised since they're in a group together and all that. I didn't expect them to commit. Everything else was average. The plot was meh. Been there, done that. At least Tammy wasn't evil like most other women in BL's. I wasn't particularly fond of the characters. Phumjai was quite childish. The role Offroad played in Our Days was so much more charming and captivating. Had he played that kind of character in this, I would have been much more excited about this series. Phojai was insufferable. Why would you care about your brother's business to that degree? It was weird. He was also a horrible boyfriend. Tag wasn't much better. He was a bad friend. He helped Phojai spy on Phumjai, his friend. Yang was fine. He had flaws, sure, but he didn't bother me much. Overall, there was room for improvement, but it wasn't offensive.
There were kisses and a steamy scene.
Happy ending.

For such a short series the romance was super dragged out. I actually thought it was never going to happen. They also just had no chemistry. I was surprised that there were actual kisses because of the fact that JM is an idol. That said, they were hardly kisses. It was more like lips touching repeatedly. Anyway, the writing was bad. Because it was bad I couldn't tell whether the acting was good or not. I could tell that the characters were shit, though. The plot was completely unremarkable, cliche, and non-sensical. The title had nothing to do with the series. There were literally no cats at all. The whole language thing was so fucking silly. I especially loved how they sometimes suddenly could understand each other without the in-ear. Overall, it was a mess.
There were kisses.
Happy ending.

Censored romance.
Towards the second half of the series, I was a little bored, to be honest. The story just wasn't that interesting. This was pretty gay, actually, despite the ban, especially that wedding scene at the end. There was no real conclusion in regards to the plot, though. At least no one died?

I really tried to watch everything and not skip the straight couples, but I got bored with them, honestly. I liked the older straight couple at first. I thought they were cute, but then that too went downhill fast. They advertised the BL couple as being a bigger part of this than they were. They took up less than three hours of the series. Mark and Ou Wen had a rough start. I did not like Mark one bit initially. I mean, he exhibited homophobic behavior. Weirdly as time went on, he became the best character. It was too bad that they refused to let him be bi/pan, though. Apparently, his only options were "hot mamas" or Ou Wen. Of course, we all know that people can only be straight or gay, right? Or maybe it was about them thinking Mark would cheat on Ou Wen if he were bi. For some reason, certain people think bi people are promiscuous and want both a guy and a girl at the same time. That usually isn't the case. Bi people seek love too, you know? Also, it was interesting that Mark was more open and sure of their relationship than Ou Wen. I understood that Ou Wen was scared of being hurt by dating a "straight" guy. At the end of the day, though, he was just quite cowardly. I felt weird about Ou Wen telling Joanna what to do with her body. Having a child is not something to take lightly. It's a huge responsibility. He also stopped her for such selfish reasons. Anyway, I did think they were cute, but their story felt so unfinished.
There were kisses and a steamy scene.

Honestly, I was into it at first, but Lee Jun really got on my nerves. Yes, Ha Ram was quite insistent and hard to shake off, but at least he was a genuinely good guy. He was obviously very determined and into Lee Jun. Not that I can say that I understand why. Lee Jun was so cold and closed-off, even after kissing and sleeping with Ha Ram. He was only kind towards Ha Ram for like one episode. The way that Lee Jun allowed Ha Ram to suffer when he could have just been honest pained me. It's always uncomfortable to see only one person in a relationship putting in the effort to fix problems. Ha Ram always had to mend things, even when he hadn't done anything. The whole thing with Lee Jun's ex was just overall pointless and a waste of time. I want to see Ha Ram with someone else, seriously. Anyway, the acting was good and so were the kisses. At least we had that.
There were kisses.

As much as I adore War and Yin together, this series simply does not portray a healthy and desirable relationship. The whole thing basically starts with rape. Vee took advantage of Mark when he was drunk and unable to consent. Then there's the ordeal with Ploy and Vee. Yes, Ploy cheated too, but that didn't give Vee the right to do the same. He also didn't even know that Ploy was cheating when he started pursuing Mark. None of the characters were really likable either. Both Mark and Vee were unhealthily jealous and immature. It was just so messy. I also highly disliked the way Mark treated Nuea. So why didn't I rate this lower? As I mentioned, Yin and War have great chemistry. They actually seemed like a couple, like they were supposed to. Most BL couples fail to convince us that they genuinely like each other, which they should at least be able to do. Also, the acting. We all know War is a great actor, but Yin really surprised me. He had significantly improved. Their interactions felt very natural. I hope they can play a couple in a better-written series someday.

It was an okay movie. I felt like their getting together was a bit sudden. There wasn't enough buildup. It was also kind of weird how Khao just accepted the misunderstanding. It seemed as if nothing mattered to him.

I liked it better than the first one. That was probably because Khao and Nut had better chemistry than Khao and Pete. Actually, they didn't mention Pete in this at any point. It made me feel like the first movie was pointless. I don't find sexual harassment funny it made me pretty uncomfortable. There were also quite a few plot holes. For some reason, I felt like the kiss was a little too long? There were a lot of crotch shots and also some almost full-on nudity.

There was so much wrong with this. Where to start? Forcing someone into loving you is not cute. As if it wasn't already enough that Ko even considered using the sacred water, he actually did it. Just no. We never got to know if the water actually did anything, but if it did, that would mean Teng never liked Ko, right? Why would you date someone that might have only liked you because of some sacred water? Ko was just toxic in general. He was incredibly selfish. He purposefully pretended to date the guy that his brother liked to make Teng jealous. Teng wasn't great either. He cheated on his girlfriend, something she definitely didn't deserve. Teng also slept with Ko when he was drunk. Then there's Tak. I wasn't sure whether both he and Sek were drunk when they slept together, but still, why were the couples only getting together when they were drunk? That is such a wrong message to send. Tak also "raped" a ghost. Huh? I mean, I don't know what else to call it. He threatened to rape her, and then she proceeded to tell him to do it, so was it rape? Also, why would you threaten to rape someone? At that point, he was also in love with Sek. I didn't get why it was necessary to feature that in the series. It wasn't funny, and it didn't fit the theme at all. Ko's friends were horrible. They were the typical gays-are-predators characters. Once again, not funny. Why can't we have openly gay characters in BL's that aren't disgusting? Lastly, the singing parts were just dreadful to me. The only good things about this series were Ko and Sek's father and the surprisingly not cringey kisses.
There were kisses.

At least now we know that the water didn't do shite. That's good. This whole series was the two main couples breaking up over misunderstandings and then getting back together repeatedly. None of them trusted each other at all. They always jumped to conclusions, and the misunderstood ones never tried to explain what really happened. They were also quick to spit out the let's-break-up sentence over the most trivial matters. It was the most cliche and idiotic BL I've watched in a while. There shouldn't still be such toxic portrayals of gay relationships, honestly. Why can't we have second seasons of BL's that are just cute and unproblematic? They always create unnecessary drama and ruin the relationships for it all to not really matter at the end. We also had the typical girl that tried to tear the gay couple apart. How surprising. The replacement of Sek bothered me. The new actor was okay. I just preferred the old Sek. They changed him in this. Virgo, who played Teng, seemed very much like he couldn't care less. His acting in this left much to be desired. Overall, this season was unnecessary. If you can sit through the torture that is almost the entire series (especially the singing parts), then the few cute couple scenes are worth it, I guess.
There were kisses.
Happy ending.

With lines like: "Such fair skin, like it's been bleached. Your fair skin reflects the purity of your heart. ", I already knew early on that this would be a great series... or not. Mame will never learn. Mahasamut and Tongrak were not cute together. Don't get me wrong, Peat and Fort have good chemistry, but these two characters together were toxic. Tongrak was especially shitty. He basically treated Mahasamut like a prostitute or a slave. Even if Mahasamut didn't mind, it was still fucked up. Tongrak acted like this till the very last episode. There was barely any character development. He was just the kind of person that I personally would never trust with my feelings. Mahasamut was mostly fine. He deserved an award for putting up with Tongrak. I mean, yeah, he could have just left, but still. His possessive behavior in episode eight was weird, though. It came off as quite rapey. The GL sidecouple sucked. I badly want a good GL pairing, but they never do it well. Khaimuk was a detestable character. She was very annoying. Vivi wasn't great either. I did think she was somewhat charming, but she was also manipulative. They definitely didn't have chemistry. They also didn't even conclude their pairing. Anyway, the plot. Underwhelming and pretty boring. They tried to fill the gaps with sex scenes. That doesn't work. The acting was okay. I thought Fort was good, but Peat is lacking in some areas. Overall, it was just another Mame series. It wasn't as bad as some of her other work.

This was one of the first, if not the first, BL I ever watched. Compared to the ones that come out nowadays, it wasn't amazing. It has a special place in my heart, though. I never liked the mistreatment of their girlfriends and the stereotypical feminine gays, though. Sure, the girls weren't great. Yu was quite annoying, and Aim was manipulative. That said, no matter how confused you are about your sexuality or how bothersome your girlfriend is, it's still not okay to cheat. Also, I did like how most of the students stood up for the gays. Anyway, Phun and Noh were incredibly adorable together. They were young, so the kiss scenes weren't great, but when they cuddled, held each other's hands, or such, their chemistry shone. Their kisses weren't bad either, though. Compared to some series that came out after this, they were actually okay. All the straight couples in this were dreadful. Most of them were just awful towards each other. There were, in general, a lot of side characters. Maybe, too many. Pang also bothered me. This series did suffer from a lot of fetishizing characters. I mean, Pang being so interested in her brother's love life was weird. I'd say the acting was okay. Not bad nor good. Some scenes were better than others. Overall, this first season was chaotic, but I treasure it. It paved the way for all the following BL's.

This season was better than the first one. The story and their relationship developed a lot more. Love Sick was what started the whole BL craze, so I will forever be grateful for its existence. In this one, there were four BL couples. Phun and Noh were cuter than ever, mostly. The jealousy and misunderstanding aspect was overused, though. At least they handled the girlfriend problem well. I didn't even think Aim was that bad. She wasn't great, but she wasn't the only one who cheated. Plus, she didn't really get between them. All the other BL couples were quite underdeveloped. Om and Mick did get together, I'd say. Win and Per were pending. The possibility of Earn and Pete getting together was insinuated at the very end. There were way too many characters and unfinished storylines. That could be because they originally planned to make another season. Also, the straight couples and the girl drama got dreadful fast. Jeed literally attempted murder. There were quite a few tropes and not ideal messages in this, but compared to some more recent BL series, it was fairly progressive for its time.
No lip kiss.

Well, I expected too much. This was not good. This entire plot was fucked up from the beginning. They didn't even have chemistry to save it just a little bit. They kissed well, but their characters were so bad I couldn't possibly find it riveting. Turbo didn't fit this role whatsoever. At first, I thought I just didn't like Anda, but I soon realized it was mostly his acting that threw me off. Kaownah was fine. His character was awful, though. He at no point cared about consent. He literally made out with Anda when he was unconscious. I have never been so uncomfortable. Bank was the best character. He was definitely a better choice than Ryo. Tee and Jet were a weird addition. They were hardly seen together, and then we got THAT scene. At least they had some chemistry. I'm sad. I was so excited that Kaownah and Turbo finally got a series, and THIS was what we received.

I have basically nothing good to say. It was really bad. The characters were awful. I only liked Night and maybe Peace. That's it. Day and Itt were insufferable. Day was abusive, overly jealous/possessive, and manipulative. Itt was so incredibly childish, annoying, and also fairly manipulative. They were horrible together. It was actually painful to watch most of their interactions. The villain was laughable. The side couples were underdeveloped, to say the least. Mac and Nan were an even worse couple than the main one. I could honestly keep going for hours about how bad this was. I'll just leave it here. Actually, lastly, I don't think the actors had a fair chance at showing their abilities with this script. I have seen most of them in other series, and they weren't bad in those. I just don't think it's fair to judge them based on this. The only one who seemed like a genuinely bad actor was the villain guy.

Oh, I so very much dislike people who cheat and people who think they can have both the girl and the guy. Xin Yu was selfish. It shouldn't be surprising that your girlfriend breaks up with you if you cheat on her. I'm glad Xiao En respected herself enough to end things. Honestly, Wei Jia and Xin Yu deserved each other. Xin Yu was a cheater, and Wei Jia was okay with kissing someone that wasn't single. We didn't actually know if any of them ended up together, but the boys probably did. I wanted to like this more than I did. I think the acting was good. The characters were mostly likable. That said, even though I did like Ye Chan, he was a little too over-the-top at times for my taste. He was really cute and nice otherwise. The plot wasn't anything special. Some scenes were somewhat out of place. I also just couldn't feel that much of a spark. I wasn't convinced Seon Yul felt the same way as Ye Chan. It felt a bit rushed. As it often does with short series like this. At least their first kiss was good and not stiff. Overall, it was nice, but I wouldn't go out of my way to rewatch it or anything like that.

The plot was underwhelming. I skipped so many scenes. It just got boring. The product placement was ridiculous. The script was cringy at times. There was a super creepy predatory trans character. How predictable. The acting from Folk was pretty good. Best and Gameplay were also okay. They just weren't as good as usual. The rest of the cast lacked. Folk and Gameplay had decent chemistry. Their kisses were also good. That's about the only positives there were. I will also say that I found First somewhat toxic. He was a little forceful at one point.
There were kisses and steamy scenes.

OMG. It was so boring. I would honestly have preferred if it ended with episode seven. The last episode was so excruciating. I skipped through most of it. I basically liked nothing about this. The leads weren't bad actors, but they had zero chemistry. I would almost say they seemed more like friends. The kisses sucked ass. It was only the last one that was real, and they did not deliver. The second couple. Mark and Ai. They had literally one scene where they were awkwardly rubbing each other. I didn't get it. I'm happy it's over.

This one almost felt like it was too long for what it was. The plot was very generic. It was just another story about a guy finding someone new in the middle of breaking up with someone else. So it was similar to Right Time, Right You. It was just less depressing. The acting was good. I did like the couple, but they really focused way too much on that creep Non. I would like to see them in another series that could do them justice. Possibly even with similar characters, because I quite liked them. The kiss also needed some improvement. Also, I did not like how they glossed over the attempted rape. That shit was terrifying. Cheetah acted it out so realistically.

So the gay parts sort of weren't gay. It seemed as if Zera thought Jaibo was a woman? I don't know why he thought that. It was quite clear he wasn't. Basically, the "love" was one-sided. I would call it an obsession. There was a lot of blood and gore. If you like that, you can watch this, but don't watch it for one kiss and a BJ. I thought it was gross. That said, some of the effects weren't that well done. I really liked the girl. If I were her, I wouldn't have been that brave and calm. Litchi was also cute, I guess. Can you call a killer robot cute? Anyway, the bad guys got what they deserved. It was only Tamiya who deserved better. I would say the acting was good. I can't say it would have been easy to act in such a ridiculous movie.

I'm not really sure what the point of this was. Sure, they were cute, but I don't think it was necessary to make this. After all these years of them acting together as a couple, you would think they would know how to kiss properly. They were still incredibly stiff. Their argument midway through was sort of silly. They still didn't know how to communicate. The ending was kind of confusing. Was it all fake or not? I actually thoroughly enjoyed Peak's acting in this. He had gotten a lot better.

They really should have just hired older actors. The kisses had to be shot awkwardly because of their age. And most of the acting wasn't great, again, because they were literally children. There were also at least two times where non-consensual sex was portrayed. Tee took advantage of Fuse when he was drunk, and Book was quite visibly forced by Frame. There was also cheating. Just a lot of, not so great messages.

The actors were a little less awkward in this one. The whole thing with Jean, Fuse, and Tee was just painful and annoying. Fuse took way too long to figure out what he wanted. Frame and Book's storyline was sad and uncomfortable most of the time. This just wasn't that good compared to so many other BL's that have come out recently.

I mostly enjoyed this, but some things dulled the overall experience for me. I was happy to see Max and Tul together again, especially with characters that weren't toxic. Their previous projects included a lot of bad messages, so this was refreshing. That said, I did find their interactions somewhat cheesy at times. The acting was, in general, not amazing. I would almost say I preferred their acting in their other series. Nonetheless, they had great chemistry despite that. I was bothered by the lack of intimacy in the latter half of the series, though. I also wished to see more of That and Sorawit. Sorawit was just the cutest. I liked how M turned out to be one of my favorite characters. I found him slightly annoying at first. I need a spin-off about him and Oat... possibly as a couple? About the actual plot. It was nice that the mains weren't in high school, you know. Although I liked the plot, some things didn't add up. Whoever wrote this obviously isn't an expert when it comes to common knowledge and investigating. There were times where characters just turned their backs to known murderers, and there was also mishandling of evidence, to name a few. Episode thirteen didn't leave me excited for the finale. It did clarify a lot of things, but it was also dragged out and left no suspense. Regardless, I still want another season. It's worth mentioning that this series focused more on the crime that was happening than the romance.

OMG. Where to begin? Should we talk about the, not one, but two, unbearable female characters? How about the boring ass straight couple? Perhaps the homophobic parent bullshit tickles your fancy? Honestly, how did they make a story all about a gay wedding feel like it was about everything else? It was hardly the main event. Sure, the couple kissed, but we knew literally nothing about them. If anything, Mei was the main character. I only got interested in the couple during the last two minutes of the second episode. They do have potential. Basically, the conclusion is I think they should give Bank and Earth a better series.

I didn't know what was going on, to be honest. It was so messy. There were so many plot holes. If the girl could get in, why couldn't the others get out? Also, introducing new characters to write them off instantly? Why? The ending was incredibly unrealistic. There was no way they could have gotten away with that, alive at least. For them being striving doctors, they sure didn't know how to bandage a wound. They tried, though.

The only good thing about this was the acting. The sound was awful. The ending was questionable, and I hope they weren't insinuating the possibility of a second season. Honestly, there were some good messages in this. That said, saying that praying will cure every illness is deceptive and plain wrong. Most of the time, medical assistance is necessary. I liked that they said that everyone, including people of the LGBTQ+ community, is welcome in heaven. I'm not religious, but if you are, I hope you feel that way too. They had decent chemistry. It was nothing ground-breaking, though. I'm not sure how to feel about the ending. I don't know if it was beneficial to the community. You know, in terms of the tiresome mandatory gay characters that don't get to live beyond the age of about twenty. But Damon wanted to die, so should I be happy?

The special effects were quite bad. Well, everything was under average, except for the acting. The story was hard to comprehend and nothing really made sense to me. I don't know when or why Xiao Bao went from pretending, to actually liking Huai En. It was the same with Si Ming and Jin Bao. Their relationships were just so sudden. Due to that, I found it hard to see much chemistry. I do think that the main couple could have chemistry in a drama with better writing and directing. I also didn't really like any of the characters. Huai En was incredibly jealous and toxic. Every time he tried to get Xiao Bao to forgive him and didn't get his way, he ended up getting forceful and even physical. Xiao Bao spent almost the entire second half of the series crying. It got pretty repetitive. That one scene in the sixth episode was straight-up rape. Xiao Bao was drunk and resisting. Then, the day after, they made a joke out of it. The scene at the start of episode two was definitely also rape. Why do Chinese BL's almost always include forceful romance and sex? It's fucked up, and the other viewers don't seem to care. Overall, I don't want to recommend this, but I know so many people will like this regardless of whether it's morally right or wrong.

I was intrigued at first. I wondered how they would handle the whole two-different-worlds thing. After watching Happenstance I wasn't particularly optimistic. This was nothing like that series, though. Anyway, I just started to get bored. I also really did not like the "plot twist". The first "younger" actors actually had chemistry, and then they went and sort of changed the end game. I felt nothing for the "final" couple". The twenty-five-year age gap made me extremely uncomfortable. It didn't help that the older guy had developed a friendship with the younger guy's father prior to dating him. The whole thing was just weird. I know this makes no sense if you haven't watched it, but I just had to get it out. Overall, the first four episodes were fine.

I found this dreadful from the very first episode. I don't know if it was the script, the actors, or potentially both, but it was so awkward to watch. Everything just felt off. The ears and the wigs were awful. The characters weren't likable. Dermdem was creepy. The way he acted towards Meow made me think of groomers and pedophiles. I can't really explain it. I just got the creeps from him. Meow did act like a literal child, so maybe that was why. I just can't imagine an adult being attracted to someone with the mentality of a six-year-old. It was kind of nauseating to me. Don't even get me started on the cat aspect of it. I mean, did none of the people who came up with this consider how odd and, well, gross it is? Faiyen was fine, I guess. He was very much like Meow, though. Not cute. Just cringe. Evan was sort of an interesting character. I really couldn't tell if Bodo is simply a bad actor, and that's why they made Evan like that, or he was always supposed to be like that. Either way, it was peculiar. Should I also mention that Evan was Faiyen's TEACHER?! That in itself made me dislike them together. WTF were they thinking? The last episode was one of the most half-assed things I've ever watched. I don't think they had any clue how to end it. Also, none of the three couples really led anywhere. There was still uncertainty and denial. It didn't feel romantic at all. In this instance, maybe that was a good thing.
No kiss.

So, basically, the girl took over the "straight" guy's body. The straight guy took over the gay guy's body. The gay guy took over the girl's body. Hau Hau confused me. She wasn't into girls, yet she slept with Xiao Chi's "girlfriend, Xi Jia. She didn't even seem sorry. Plus, even if she were drunk, that wouldn't make her suddenly want to sleep with a woman. So, why did she do it? Honestly, poor Xi Jia. She deserved better. Well, in the alternative ending, that is. A Bu was neither good nor bad. He almost stole Hau Hau's body to get with a man. I completely understood why he wanted to stay in her body. It would be easier for him to get a guy as a beautiful woman. He didn't actually do it, so I guess he is forgiven. Plus, it seemed as if Paul was willing to be with A Bu, even if he were in his own body. Paul did rush into things, but he seemed so nice. So, I was okay with their ending. The canon ending for Xiao Chi was silly. He quite obviously wasn't into women, or at least not Xi Jia. He and the art guy were much better together. Why should he end up with a girl he didn't care for? The alternative ending still didn't satisfy me, but at least it insinuated a chance of Xiao Chi getting with the guy. Ultimately, though, because we didn't see them get together, this wasn't from a BL standpoint worth it. I thought the acting was satisfactory, and I would like a sequel for Xiao Chi. Thank you.

It was interesting, at least. The acting was fine. The story was just all over the place. I felt as if I had accidentally skipped some parts. I had not, though. The ending didn't make me any less confused. It wasn't a bad ending. It was just hard to figure out. I honestly could not tell you what this was about exactly. Yuanshan was not great. I can tell you that. He was a cheater and a murderer, essentially. Yixia was naive and dependent, but he still deserved better. I felt so bad for the mermaids. Their response to the torture was extreme, but it was understandable. My favorite part was the fact that it was a historical BL. We need more of that.

It started out great. They had chemistry, and I was excited to watch their relationship progress. About halfway through, I had already grown tired of Minato's reluctance. Sure, you're allowed to not like someone back, but Minato did feel the same. I'm tired of characters who won't admit their true feelings until the very last episode. The kisses, too, were a disappointment. I was so annoyed by the constant mention of their age gap. Yes, it was weird when Shin was under eighteen, but after his birthday, there really was no need to keep focusing on that so heavily. Also, don't even get me started on the whole Minato-teacher thing. I got why he used to like his teacher. It's normal, and personally, I did think Takayuki was cute, but it had been a literal decade. They did not have to spend so much of the series on that issue. So shin and his forwardness. There were times I thought he pressured Minato too much, but overall I thought he was very sincere. The boy had some serious patience. I thought he was charming, and I liked his cheekiness. The side couple was strange. I didn't dislike either of them, but they made no sense together, in my opinion. All that mattered to me was Shin. I just fucking adore him. I would have been happy if he was the only character. Minato was as annoying as ever. There was just no character development. Shin deserved better. The last-minute amnesia plot was highly unnecessary. The "steamy" scene was unconvincing and slightly painful. So were the "kisses". As usual, it was fine at first but then lost its way and got boring. I just lost interest in the couples. I really thought God was a good person and boyfriend for the most part. He didn't handle the whole thing with Diew's ex very well, though. To be fair, Diew didn't exactly come off as trustworthy in that situation, but I still felt that God jumped to conclusions. I hate it when they do that. Diew was generally not very easy to read. They kept pointing out that he was an introvert, but he wasn't. Being an introvert doesn't make you afraid of people. Social anxiety does. I should know. It was honestly quite triggering for me. It also then makes me feel bad to say that I thought Diew was a lackluster character. I don't know if it was the character or what, but Park's acting felt stiff, especially in comparison to Big, who felt very natural. I think they might be a good couple in a different series. Wan and Beer were a horrible couple. Wan was insufferable. It has been a long time since I disliked someone so strongly. What an asshole. What was the point of having an evil female character? She added nothing to the story. I would say Diew's mother was one too. Absolutely pointless character. Game was my favorite character. He was just sweet and supportive. I have no idea how he ended up with someone like Win, but I guess that was mostly because they NEVER SHOWED US. Sorry. Overall, it was a mostly lighthearted series, and I guess my writing so passionately meant I wasn't completely bored by it.

I am happy that Kijima rejected Kido and that there was no cheating because Kuzumi deserved the best. This was a waste of time. I'm so tired of this kind of plot, where the "straight" guy keeps messing with the gay guy, making him think they have a chance together. And then there's the inevitable mean girl who wants to get in the way. After finally having enough, the gay guy then goes for another guy that likes him. It's as if we were supposed to believe Xu Zhengxi was happy with Zhao Xiao Bu when he clearly was still in love with Tao Ye. Tao Ye then goes on to live an unhappy but "normal" life. I honestly didn't like any of them. I didn't feel bad for Xu Zhengxi. He should have respected himself instead of trying to get together with someone who would never have loved him openly.

I only watched the BL parts. That said, I'm actually not sure what they were. To me, they definitely liked each other. Everything was so cute, and then there was that pointless ending. I didn't watch anything else, so I really wouldn't know whether it was good or not. Therefore I also can't really rate this appropriately. It's also why I've written that the ending was tragic because that's how it ended for the BL couple. Tragically. According to others' opinions, the straight couples ending wasn't great either. Anyway, go watch "I Told Sunset About You" instead.

It was just not good. The acting wasn't that bad, but everything else was. There was hardly any chemistry. The plot made no sense. There were so many pointless characters and scenes that went nowhere. The side couple sucked. Them getting together was so sudden. Once again, the openly gay character was predatory, and the "straight" guy was turned gay. Satha sexually harrassed his friend. Satha literally grabbed his friend's crotch without his consent to figure out if he was gay. Oh, right, I forgot that if you're gay, you are attracted to every single human being of the same sex. Satha, that was dumb. Nut was probably the best character. I can't remember him doing anything offensive.

Nah. The homophobia was strong in this one. One of their friends called gays disgusting. Both of the parents were awful. Bank was allowed to be gay but just not with Golf? The movie felt very rushed and became non-sensical the further into it we got. The ending was just ridiculous. It wasn't sad. It was laughable. Bank got sent away. Time passed. He came back with a girlfriend. So, Bank went for Thom instead. They both got upset. Golf was going to get married, I guess. Thom attempted to rape Bank. Golf got pissed at Bank because he thought they slept together. Golf and Bank got into an accident. Bank was in desperate need of a kidney. Golf offered his. Bank survived and believed Golf went to study abroad again. All his friends decided to tell him on his birthday that Golf actually died from a brain tumor. Bank grieved and moved on. All that happened in like thirty minutes. Huh? That's what I call a waste of time. The best part was that they acknowledged their sexuality. Also, Golf did a great job of defending their love. Bank, not as much. The acting was okay. I didn't see much chemistry

Golf was fairly toxic. He hadn't matured at all, even after eight years. He didn't respect Bank and Jackson's relationship whatsoever. Bank was a cheater, to be fair. Honestly, poor Jackson. Bank getting together with Tom was a waste of time and energy. They literally just started to get to know each other. The koreaboo/fujoshi thing was highly annoying. Jeab was kind otherwise, but oh my. Parn was the worst. She tried to falsely accuse someone of sexual harassment, which also affected her friend. Yet, she ended up with that friend? He forgave her, just like that. Fuck no. She didn't feel bad at all. I was glad, though, that the teacher was a nice guy. I think some of the kisses were real, and others were fake. Anyway, that "sex" scene was awful. I get it, though. They were very young. The ending was shit. Maybe they planned to make a second season, but that obviously never happened. This was an extremely mediocre, if not downright bad, series. Lastly, some of the actors left much to be desired. It wasn't that distracting, but still.

So many good actors, but the plot was awful. Half of the time, it was nothing but montages with zero dialogue. It was so dry and boring. I skipped through most of it. About the couples, I honestly wanted Bank to move on from Golf. Golf really thought he could just come back, and everything would be the same? Every time Bank and Golf were on the screen I sighed, and wanted it to be over. This was more about the side couples than Bank and Golf. Their kiss was half-assed, and they had no chemistry. It was clear that Fluke and Fluke didn't want any part in this. I felt horrible for Arm. He deserved so much better, and adding him to the story was not necessary. Nuea and Tar were a silly couple. It was so cute, and then Tar became an asshole. I just wanted Nuea to be happy. What happened to him was awful. Hungley and Maykah were mostly cute, but the consent was very dubious at one point. Also, what was the point of those weird close-ups of Hungley's body? The other few couples were pointless. The whole ordeal with that disgusting teacher was well disgusting. They totally played that off as if it was funny. He was a PREDATOR.

When the episodes are less than fifteen minutes each, airing one episode a week just isn't sufficient. That said, it wasn't even like the things happening in the episodes were that interesting. I like that we're casting more mature actors instead of literal schoolboys, but can we please get a different setting than an office? It has become a trope at this point. The acting was fine. They had some chemistry. Their last kiss was really nice. The characters themselves were meh. Su An was rather bland, and U Jin was somewhat creepy. Overall, it wasn't that great, but also not bad.

This show was a mess at times, but it's a guilty pleasure of mine. Ace and Sky had amazing chemistry and some of the most natural intimacy I've ever seen. There were quite a few scenes that were weird and felt out of place. Also, Moira.... where to begin? She is probably one of the most despicable characters in a BL ever. She's in the same rank as Pleng (Together with Me). She did some really fucked up things and ended up with a slap on the wrist. I mean, she even attempted murder. Despite all that, it's still worth a watch.

My goodness. The acting was something. Ping is still the reason why this pairing will never work. He just can't act. I'm sorry. His character being an annoying little shit didn't help either. I've seen Meen in another pairing before. So I know it's not him. He can act. Kenji is probably the most laughable villain I've ever seen. The action sequences were pretty silly as well. The second couple was pointless. Did Tul even like Boss back? We'll never know because they won't tell us. It's not like I cared much about them anyway. Also, the actor for Boss bothered me. I'm not sure I would say he was bad, but the way he moved his mouth really got on my nerves. I know it's not that big of a deal, but then again, it was to me. Don't get me started on Wal. What a shitty and, frankly, creepy piece of work. I did not need him to be in this. So, yeah, enjoy.

I only watched the In & Sun bits. The thing is, they had great chemistry, and their acting was also really natural. Of all the GMM BL couples, they probably had some of the most well-acted scenes. That said, the plot was quite been-there-done-that. Also, I'm not a fan of the enemies-to-lovers trope when they're "enemies" due to one of them bullying the other. That's not cute. I didn't like In that much in general. Using Ainam to hide his feelings for Sun was shitty. I mean, he even knew how Sun felt. Sun was so sweet and considerate throughout the whole thing. Basically, they could have been a great pairing with a better script.

There were at least three non-consensual kisses. Dream sexually assaulted Runway. Yim got raped by one of Tanai's friends. That friend was also the only bi representation we had, and they had to make him a rapist. The rape was handled awfully. I mean, Runway joked about it and called it a little problem. They also let the guy take Yim home afterward. Later on, the guy apologized to Yim. You'd think Yim was traumatized, but no, Yim kissed and thanked him. Why would he thank him? Then it was never mentioned again. There were no consequences. Luckily, he didn't end up with him. It was insinuated that he was going to get together with Asawin. For once, the female character was nice. She was the one who got cheated on and was unfairly accused of cheating by Guide. She had a hard time letting go, but she was by no means worse than Guide. It was creepy that Dream had looked after Runway since he was a baby and then wanted to pursue a romantic relationship with him as soon as he was old enough. Everything about that was so weird. Tanai was also creepy. He was so pushy and did not seem like he had pure intentions. Sure, Runway should have just rejected him, but he still had no right to impose himself on Runway. Good only seemed to care about Elle when they were a woman. Their relationship was just underdeveloped, I guess. Basically, by the end, no one was coupled up. The acting was so-so. The chemistry was meh. At least the plot was somewhat original. The execution was lacking, though. Some scenes were quite obviously filler. Many questions were left unanswered. I think they were planning on making another season, and it just never happened.

I mean, the premise was the most interesting thing. That said, with such little time, it didn't really develop enough. It was reminiscent of Color Rush but just messier. Also, it was quite obvious that Deluded was a metaphor for queerness. He was hated just for existing. I liked that. The sudden cuts were very confusing. I get that they were trying to tone down the gayness because China, but I feel like it could have been handled better. At least they actually confessed to each other. The acting was great. It was the best part of this series. The story was pretty good. The twist was certainly interesting. Sad, but interesting. I would never rewatch this. It was quite painful. I think the worst part was how little time Ken and Shake's relationship had to develop. I couldn't get invested enough. All of a sudden, they were just into each other. Although they were cute together, I almost wouldn't recommend watching this just because of the ending. Their message was to end homophobia, but by killing the gay characters, weren't you doing the opposite? Homophobia won again, right? The whole accident part also felt so unnecessary. It did not have to happen like that. Anyway, Sandee and Ken's mom were simply awful. Sandee acted seriously out of line. She outed Ken. I could never forgive her for that. I mean, she didn't even seem that remorseful. Also, I get that her seeing ghosts was necessary for the last two episodes, but what else did it bring to the table? Ken's mom was homophobic. Even though she accepted them, which we all know is the key to gay people's happiness, as if we can't just treat them like they weren't any different from straight people, I also could never forgive her. At least we had Lawrence. He was a great brother.

I mostly disliked him for liking someone like Itt. He could have done better. Pure was a player and also somewhat a cheater. Folk wasn't perfect, but he did not deserve to be treated like that. At least Pure figured out how much of an idiot he was being. Folk should have given up on Pai when he rejected him the first time. Other than that, I don't have much to say about him. It was somehow refreshing at first, but it became too predictable. The ending felt rushed. I also felt like this could have been even just three episodes. The competition got a bit boring after a while. At least there was good chemistry. The acting was weird at times, though. It was obviously meant to be over-the-top, but it felt a bit too unnatural. Listen. Santa and Earth are great actors, and they have sizzling chemistry. They are literally a match made in heaven. I rated it on the higher side due to that and also because there wasn't anything inherently offensive said or done. When it came to everything else, such as the plot, I didn't love it. I felt like it took too long for there to be any actual development in their relationship. Then when Cake finally realized his feelings, it all went so fast. It seemed inconsistent. To be fair, many years had passed since they last saw each other, but to the viewer, it had only been minutes. It was sort of unsatisfying. Also, the last two episodes were super out of place and borderline unnecessary. Seeiw wasn't a bad character. I just wish they'd start letting Earth play his age, or at the very least, a character that isn't so whiny. I know Earth can achieve great things if allowed. I adored Cake. He had some bad moments, but I get why Seeiw fell for him. He'd definitely make you feel like you are the only one he sees. Lastly, the straight couple was a menace. It skipped all of it. This ended up being quite disappointing. The acting was fine, but I didn't feel any chemistry. Their kisses were stiff. At this point, I can no longer look past shitty kisses. Commit, or don't be an actor. It's that simple. The plot was also pretty boring and frustrating. They kept Por in this for too long. I got so annoyed with Tawan. I did like Mork, though. He was by far the best character. He wasn't perfect, but he really cared about Tawan. I felt like he had to do everything in their relationship. I actually felt bad for him. Toy and Boss were an unnecessary addition to me. Neither were what I would call likable characters. Also, the public love declarations always make me cringe. What was even worse, though, was the straight couple. God, Nadia was terrible. They wasted so much time on them. Lastly, bringing in the ex-girlfriend last minute is so overdone.

Otoya sucked for getting married behind Junpei's back. Junpei sucked for being a cheater. Anyway, if Ruri wanted affection, she shouldn't have married a gay man. I hardly felt bad for her. The pressure some parents put on their children to get married and make THEM grandchildren is awful. They treat their kids like baby-making machines. I didn't like that the solution to getting the parents to mind their own business was to give them exactly what they wanted. Otoya should have left, in my opinion. Don't go back to a cheater. Lastly, there were very graphic sex scenes in this. I think the actors were actually engaging in sexual activities with each other at times. Plus, there was nudity.
There were kisses and sex scenes.
Happy ending.

Wow GMM. They actually made a good BL :) It's rare for them. So yeah, I liked it overall. Some minor things bothered me, but not enough for me to get too into it. I'll talk about two things, though. Win and Sound didn't work, in my opinion. I simply couldn't picture it. I just didn't feel anything for them as a couple. Then there was the endless teasing of Tinn and Gun's first kiss. I don't really like when they make such a big deal out of it. It's kind of silly. That said, at least the kiss was a nice one. So now, with the boring complaining out of the way, I want to gush about my one true love... TINN;) I have never before found anyone as cute as I found him. I don't know if it was the character or Gemini himself shining through. I just know I died a little every time he was being adorable. As soon as his true intentions were exposed in the first episode, I was all in. I also liked Gun. No one could beat Tinn, though. Oh, and also, I wanted more of Thiu and Por. Thiu was such a good friend, and Por was innocently sweet. They were nice together.

It was filled with tropes, but I honestly didn't mind that much. At least there weren't any evil exes, homophobia, or non-consensual sex. There being none of those things in a BL is sadly quite rare. There was also a wedding, and I truly adore gay weddings. That said, I wouldn't say I liked this. The acting wasn't up to my standards. It was only really Daniel's acting that seemed natural. I mean, I'm incredibly biased. I adore Daniel. I think he's a great actor and someone should give him a main role asap. The plot was very basic and, well, dull. I desperately need BL's to not always be centered around teenagers. We always get characters that are immature and don't take relationships seriously. I need more. The couples also didn't excite me. It took me forever to even slightly like Kim and Mek together. Mek was so annoying for a large portion of the series. Kim wasn't necessarily great either. Bear and Bomb made no sense to me. I would never want to date someone who is that obsessed with me. Also, they just got together way too suddenly. Bear had literally no reason to want to date Bomb. Park and Lee were my favorite couple. Not that I loved them or anything, but I did like that they were already together and acted quite domestic. Tim and Mai. What can I even say? Tim deserved to suffer. Mai was no angel, but Tim did NOT deserve him. In conclusion, it was okay, I guess.

I can't help but compare this to Where Your Eyes Linger. The chemistry was nothing compared to that. I guess it'll remain in a league of its own for now. The kiss in that was stiff, yes, but the kiss in this felt like someone forcibly pressed their heads together. They did have some cute hugs, though. The plot was too rushed. I would go as far as saying it didn't really make sense. We didn't get to know the characters and their motives. I have so many questions. I also didn't particularly have any reason to care about the characters. Jung Woo was pretty shitty, actually. Do Gun wasn't perfect, but at least his morals were intact. It could have been so much more, but alas, it just wasn't. It wasn't bad, just okay.

I can't say I liked the plot much. It got pretty stupid when the ex came back. It was such a big but bothersome part of the series. I also didn't love the characters. For a large portion of the series, I couldn't stand Bai Lang. It took way too long for him to realize/admit he liked Xu An. Xun An was fine. However, in the last few episodes, it did annoy me how he kept Bai Lang in the dark. That said, I didn't dislike them together. I liked how after they got together, they actually seemed like a couple. Alex wasn't in the least bit likable to me. RJ's introduction was shit, but other than that, he was fine. The non-consensual kisses were just not it. Their story was also unfinished, not that I really wanted them to be together anyway. Yu Wen and Ren Min were bland and didn't tickle my fancy, to be honest. Anyway, I liked the acting, and I thought the main characters had chemistry. The ending was rushed, though. The proposal, the homophobic abusive dad, and the straight wedding all felt last-minute. It was disappointing

What a mess. It was by far one of the most confusing BL's I've ever watched. They spent more time on silly arguments than explaining how Bryce and Ethon suddenly were together. In one episode, they hated each other, and in the next one, they loved each other. What? It was just extremely poorly written. All of the characters were unlikeable, in my opinion. Bryce and Ethon didn't have any chemistry. Ethon was snobby and self-centered. Bryce was abusive and boring. At least Ethon somewhat redeemed himself. He became a little less entitled. Bryce just kept getting worse. I liked Ethon and Martin together better. Apparently, we will see them together in the next season. Hopefully, they don't fuck it up. The ending didn't leave me very hopeful, though. I really wanted to see Martin and Ethon fall in love, but I guess we'll just be thrown into it.

It wasn't the worst BL I've ever seen, but I really hope this is the last I see of the Cutie Pie characters. I was never really that interested. I thought the plot was stupid then, and in this, it only got dumber. I also still don't like Yi. He honestly creeps me out. He wasn't as bad in this, but lying about having amnesia is fucked up. Diao was leaving him for a reason. In general, I didn't feel any spark between Yi and Khondiao. The acting was on the more stiff side. I don't remember them being like that in their previous work. I think it's time for a better script or different partners. They're not bad together, but I'm just over it. Lastly, WTF was the CGI for that tiger?

I just didn't care. I didn't like the characters. I didn't like the main couple's acting. Phuwin really seemed to struggle with the crying scenes. It looked off. I didn't feel any chemistry. The kisses weren't bad at all, but when I can't feel the chemistry, it doesn't really matter how good the kisses are. Their whole dynamic was so icky to me. The master and slave vibe was unsettling. Plus, they got super cheesy at times. The plot lacked. I don't know why, but I just couldn't take it seriously. The last episode was so stupid. There was so much back and forth between the couple. They overcomplicated everything constantly. Kit was also such a lousy villain. It was a little funny to me. Anyway, as is tradition, I preferred the side couple, Ben and Chopper. I didn't love them together, but they were still more interesting than the main couple.
