No. No. Just no. I can't. Fahlan and Sherbet were a horrible couple. The constant fighting and silly misunderstandings were so bad. I was not rooting for them. Their intimate scenes made me uncomfortable. Ping and Tap sucked about equally as much. Ping seemed way more interested in Fahlan. He always had to know everything Fahlan did and with who. It was so odd. Tap and Ping also didn't have any chemistry. Prince and Gear were definitely the best of the couples and the one we got to see the least of. Bravo writers. Then there was the annoying "shipper" Pink. Just stop it with the cringy female shippers already. It makes all of us look bad. Anyway, if you only care about watching some rather sloppy, steamy scenes that lack any creativity and substance, this is for you.

This was pretty bad. The acting wasn't great. The plot was boring. Their relationship made no sense. Phol basically despised Pheem, but then, after being literally blackmailed by Pheem, he seemed to enjoy his company. Why would Pheem get jealous of his fake boyfriend he had known for literal days? Why would Phol defend himself? Why did they kiss after that silly argument, and why was it just disregarded in the next scene? It was all so odd. I just didn't feel anything for the characters. I  didn't feel the chemistry. Maybe with a different plot, they could have worked together. These stories are getting worse and worse. The directing is bad, and the prolonged product placement is laughable. At least it was actual BL this time.

It was just okay. Frankly, I didn't care much for any of the characters. Ha Yeon was such a crybaby. Yeon Seok got better throughout the series, though. Together they didn't give me butterflies or anything like that. All of a sudden, they were just so into each other. It was very sudden. I liked that they made it clear that Yeon Seok loved Ha Yeon, the man, and not the woman he used to know him as. Jin Hyeok was a pain in he butt. I'm just so over jealous bff's. The story overall was rather bland and cliche to me. I didn't get excited each week. The acting was mostly good. Chang Ha's acting was a bit weird in the emotional scenes, though.

Let's stop with the age gap thing, please. Neil literally met Sea when he was a kid. What made it even more uncomfortable was that they only cast a different actor for Younger Sea, so, Neil looked much older. Anyway, I didn't care much for this series in general. The plot wasn't interesting, and I consider long song sequences to be nothing but filler. There were also a lot of flashback scenes. Once again, filler. The characters were meh. The leads weren't bad actors, but for some reason, they just didn't have chemistry. The second couple was better, but still not my favorite. Overall, I thought it was lackluster and somewhat boring, but I guess the couples had their moments. It just wasn't enough to save the series.

Why do I do this to myself? It was a mess. The plot was all over the place. I didn't like any of the couples. The main couple was boring. Mostly because of Him, though. The second couple just made me feel weird. Chao was so desperate and needy, and Pie was emotionless and unlikable. Don't even get me started on the straight couple and the sudden fourth couple. Why would I want Techin to be happy with Peach? He was horrible. The only good thing I can say is that I didn't think the acting was bad.

Earth deserved better. Yes, Stud was wrong too, but at least he felt bad. The fact that a happy ending meant getting back together with someone who cheated and made you feel guilty about it. Honestly. Why? The acting was great. The more mature scenes weren't awkward. I can appreciate that it wasn't so family-friendly and happy-happy.

Oh my god, who would have thought? Earth deserved Sam in the end. Well, almost. Sam was the worst, but the way Earth treated Stud was just wrong. He played with his feelings and wanted him back when he lost him. Hypocritical. I wanted Earth and Sam to break up and Stud to be happy with someone else. Spoiler: I got it. Also, the guy Stud got with was nice and loving. That said, Stud and Earth did have unfinished business. Maybe a season three is a possibility? Singto and Plustor had amazing chemistry. It was too bad I couldn't root for Earth. His anger was directed towards the wrong person. I'm not saying what Stud did was right. At the end of the day, though, Stud wasn't the one dating Earth, Sam was, yet he was easily forgiven. Could it be that Earth didn't care that much about Sam after all?

Nope, no. Rape is the only word needed to describe this movie. They treated Tonoin raping Morimura as love and a joke, pretty much. What? Morimura was deeply hurt and traumatized, and that was supposed to be funny? After the incident, they added this goofy music when he was walking around in pain. Haha, so funny. Kawashima was almost worse than Tonoin. She basically told Morimura that he was lucky to have gotten raped by Tonoin, and she also told him that he had won Tonoin over her. Then she took advantage of Morimura's feelings for her and kissed him to have an indirect kiss with Tonoin. WTF? She and Tonoin were disgusting. I'm just so happy they didn't end up together. My only problem was Morimura rejecting Tonoin, not for having raped him, but because Morimura couldn't fall for a man. He was very insistent on not being gay.

This was very different from any other BL I have watched. Actually, I wouldn't even really call it a BL. There were no official gay relationships, but the main character was gay and did have a secret (sexual and possibly romantic?) relationship with an older man. It was sad at times and somewhat realistic in its portrayal of trying to hide your sexuality from others. Watching Jun struggle so much was heartbreaking, but him leading Miura on wasn't okay. In the end, they did have a beautiful relationship as friends/platonic soulmates. I also loved Ryouhei. He supported Jun no matter what, even when Jun was a bit of a dick towards him. I still don't really get why Ono acted as he did. I was very disappointed by him. I think this series showed an essential part of what it's like to be closeted. Also, pretending to be someone you're not. It was nice that we got to see the good and the bad parts of Jun learning to accept himself and still got a happy ending. Lastly, although I don't enjoy the fetishization of gay people, in this instance, it played a pretty large role in Jun's self-acceptance journey.

It was fine. Honestly, I just felt like it could have been way better. Although it was only eight episodes long, it felt somewhat dragged out. There were so many flashbacks. It became very repetitive. The acting was okay. That said, they did not convince me that Fukuhara and Shinomiya were in love. They just didn't have chemistry. It was only in the last like thirty seconds I thought they looked cute together. I do mostly blame the writing, though. I liked Shinomiya. He was a little cheesy, but you could tell he meant everything he said. He seemed like a great boyfriend. Fukuhara, on the other hand, was a challenge. Yes, he did realize he was using Shinomiya, but still, even considering taking advantage of someone's feelings makes me instantly dislike you. Anyway, for a series whose title includes the word kiss, there really wasn't much kissing. There was only one kiss that was on the lips. That was literally in the first episode, and it was rather tame. They really teased us until the very end, and we got nothing. I'm incredibly over BL characters that act so coy and shy. After they started genuinely dating, I would have thought Fukuhara would run away less often. His reactions to some things were too over-the-top and disappointing. I also thought the ending was fairly underwhelming. It became a little too frivolous and all over the place. All that said, it wasn't bad, just mediocre.

The acting was amazing. Elijah and Kokoy are just ahead of everyone else. Their chemistry is so good and natural that it's almost hard to believe it's just acting. Their sex scene was so raw, and frankly, I felt like I shouldn't have been witnessing it. Plus, they switched roles midway through, which I think makes them one of the only couples to do so. I love when there isn't an assigned top and bottom. BL's often tend to use the top/bottom thing as a means to make it heteronormative. Overall, the movie did well at avoiding BL tropes and toxicity. Sure, there was the homophobic family member, but they handled that situation so well. Gavreel and Cairo's relationship seemed so healthy, and they actually communicated. I mean, imagine that. The consent was also a hundred percent present at all times. Love it. So, why didn't I give it a ten? The Achilles, Terrence, Wesley love triangle wasn't done super well, in my opinion. There was also the somewhat tiring overuse of the word baby. Other than the baby thing, perhaps it was a bit much at times. Cairo and Gavreel just were slightly cheesy. Lastly, although I understand why they do it, I am over Covid being included in almost every Filipino BL series. Anyway, in conclusion, this is some of the best queer representation we can get right now. None of the queer characters died or were unhappy.

I feel like it was pretty realistic. The acting was also good. The actors weren't afraid to kiss each other properly. All the characters were flawed but not necessarily unlikable. The only character I couldn't really feel bad for was Big. A cheater can be forgiven, but they shouldn't be given a second chance. Nat was probably my favorite. He was honest and sweet. He shouldn't have gone out with his ex all night, though. I understood why Arm was upset. That said, Arm was way too jealous. They both said some quite nasty things to each other. At least there was still hope for them. Pom also had a right to be upset with Arm. Pom didn't own Nat, but Arm could have told Pom before he made a move. Pom was quite pitiful. He still shouldn't have flirted with Pete. Pom was his boss, after all. Pete was awful, though. He was obviously using Pom. Overall, this might be too heavy for the average BL watcher. Like, it wasn't super fluffy and happy. It brought a lot of needed attention to getting tested and safe sex, which is good.

It was worse than I thought it would be. It was so mind-numbingly boring. I didn't care about any of the couples. Actually, I thought Jack and Koh were the most interesting pairing. They were almost cute in the last episode. Unfortunately, most of the focus was shifted towards Wayu and Thanu. Their relationship was simply like watching grass grow. They were both such dull people. Mark and Kit's entire relationship progress was basically redundant in this season. They were apart for most of it. It was the dumbest thing I've ever witnessed. I don't even want to discuss it. They also made Kit so disgustingly sweet all of a sudden. Well, they made most of the characters super cheesy and cringey, to be fair. Tong and Pok's whole arc also bothered me. Honestly, both of them sucked. The chemistry they had in the first season had withered. Sandee's character made no sense to me. At least he was interesting, I guess. Phai remained the best character of all. Oh, if only Sandee and Phai had gotten together from the start, or at all. Finally, Padbok and Sab.... never happened. Haha. They didn't even interact. What was the point? Instead, they brought up Thanu and Padbok's argument again. As if I cared. Also, Padbok was hardly even in this season anyway. They spent most of the time trying to make me care about the whole Pha, Wayu, Thanu love triangle. Silly. The writing was just so lazy.

I felt like there was still so much to unravel. Like, what about the side couple? Or Akihiko's seemingly complicated relationship with Ugetsu. I haven't watched the anime, so I have no idea what happened to them. Why even include them in the series if you're not going to elaborate? Anyway, when Mafuyu finally sang, I honestly didn't feel much. Sure, it was an okay song, and Mafuyu sang well, but that was about it. The acting was acceptable but not satisfactory. The kisses left much to be desired. I didn't really love the characters either. All that said, it wasn't a bad mini-series. The cinematography was nice, and so was the overall plot. The mistake was trying to fit it all into six short episodes.

Oh, it was so disappointing. The acting was mostly average, but Gun really didn't hit the mark with this one. His facial expressions were the same no matter what the character felt. I also didn't think Boat and Gun had any chemistry. Their kisses were painfully awkward and stiff. From the trailer, I thought this would be more mature, but I was so wrong. Certain scenes from the trailer were not what they appeared to be. Both of the main leads were annoying. One more than the other, though. I don't believe anyone would fall for Sky, like ever. He was such a spoiled brat. The girls were severely mistreated, as always. A certain Sky thought it was perfectly okay to play with their feelings to spite Sun. Admittedly Sun was at fault too. Juno was annoying, but she still deserved better than that. Bank and Pitch were superior. I did not care for Pitch whatsoever at the beginning. The way he treated the girls was quite repulsive. I guess Bank brought out the better in him, being the little cute shit he is. Anyway, I ended up liking them together a lot. They had more chemistry than the main couple, is all I'm saying. I won't waste time on Sky's homophobic dad. I can only say that it was entirely unnecessary.

All the characters were quite likable. Kylie learning to love herself was very nicely done. I was happy for her. Carlo was just a cutie. I liked that he didn't seem to be trying to convince himself that he wasn't into Paul. He said some things to his friend that could have been perceived as him saying he only liked Paul and no other men. I wasn't really sure if that was what he meant, though. Either way, I forgive him. How can I not? Paul was probably my least favorite. That said, I liked that the only person who discriminated against Kylie for being trans was Paul. Paul, who was openly gay, and her brother. I found that quite interesting. Everyone else didn't care at all. It was refreshing. Anyway, luckily, Paul learned to accept Kylie. Spencer was simply a ray of sunshine. Maybe he was a little annoying sometimes, but he meant well. I don't have much to say about King. I feel neutral about him. The acting was pretty good. It was by no means a masterpiece, but I found it very entertaining. I was actually somewhat sad when it ended, mostly because I wasn't satisfied with the ending. Spencer and King deserve a sequel. Lastly, I really enjoyed the constant reminder to get tested and have safe sex. It's important.

I don't know whether it's a spoiler or not, but basically, Shinji and Kenta kissed and fucked. Then Kenta kissed Itsuki, followed by Itsuki kissing Teshio. I couldn't even tell you whether any of them were actually into each other. Lastly, it was very gory but not necessarily scary or believable.

I want BL's from China to be uncensored. So much. It had so much potential, but homophobia got the best of it. Bai Yu and Zhu Yi Long are amazing actors. If they weren't in this, the drama would be worthless. Most of the characters were rather incompetent. Also, trying to keep up with the plot was literally giving me headaches. I have yet to read the novel, but I definitely think things would have made so much more sense if I had. Half the time, I was completely lost, especially towards the end. Too much was changed. I think it might have had something to do with reincarnation in movies/dramas, being banned in China. I don't even know. But to be fair, pretty much everything in movies/dramas is banned in China. Heterosexual love isn't, of course. It's ridiculous that this is the way things have to be handled. Just let the two men kiss and have a happy ending, FFS. They were so obviously in love with each other. They would literally die for each other. They cared so much about each other's wellbeing, and they should have been allowed to be together, my God. Their chemistry was out of this world. Had the plot made more sense, and had they been actual lovers, this could have been so fucking good. This drama had more mistakes than I could count, but I didn't even care. All I wanted was a happy ending for Shen Wei and Zhao Yun Lan. Instead, they were shoving straight relationships down my throat.

The acting was okay. There were times when some of them actually did quite well. Most of the characters were unlikeable. Actually, I only really liked Win. She continuously said that Tha and Kim were lucky because they could be together with no worries. Something Wit and Win couldn't. That's not true. Sure, a lot has changed,  but there is still so much homophobia in this world, especially in Asia. Kim and Tha didn't really have any chemistry. It was pretty dry. Their kisses were borderline boring. They kept showing the same scenes over and over again. We had to see that scene where Win and Wit were talking about holding hands about five times. Why? I had quite a lot of problems with this series. I can't be bothered to write it all out, though. At least it was somewhat original, I guess. Sadly, most of it made no sense. Lastly, it wasn't scary at all. It was just silly.

Honestly, it made no sense for Nagisa to be the one to marry a woman. He seemed to have accepted his sexuality in the series. The number of women he used disgusted me. I know gay people are not widely accepted and respected, but that gave him no right to treat women like that. He even had a daughter. He didn't like women. How did he manage to sleep with one then? Also, the audacity to come back after all those years because he wanted Shun back. Shun forgave him way too easily. Anyway, other than that, the movie was more about whether Nagisa or Rena got custody of Sora. I really didn't agree with the outcome of that. Rena hit Sora. She also drank while taking care of her, which put Sora in a dangerous situation. She was not fit to be her sole carer. Nagisa basically gave up because he felt bad. The whole situation was ridiculous. That Sora had no say in it when she was old enough was mindboggling to me. Most of the time it's just some competition between the parents. Shun and Nagisa were great parents. It would have been such a win for a gay couple to gain custody. Disappointing. Moving on, I liked how there were plenty of people who supported Nagisa and Shun's relationship. Was it realistic? Maybe not, but it felt good. The actors were better in this. Their kisses weren't awkward. They didn't have amazing chemistry, but it was enough.

Chika was a little annoying at first, but I ended up liking her too. Shun had like no personality. Nagisa didn't at first either, but he became more interesting with time. I didn't condone that he kept leading women on, though. Can I also say that it's ridiculous that in a BL, the gay couple doesn't kiss but one of the gay characters kisses a girl, not once, but twice? The ending was super unsatisfying to me. Sure, it was happy but also so dry. This had potential. It just ended up being somewhat messy.

The acting was great, the chemistry was great, BUT there are three reasons why I didn't rate it higher. The first being the ending... it was just so out of place, and it confused me. The second being  Sun Bo... he was the most stalkerish character I have ever witnessed. He was so out of line that it made me uncomfortable. And the third being Xiang Hao Ting bullying Yu Xi Gu at first. That's not how you'd want to start a relationship with anyone.

Out of all of the HIStory's so far, this one is my favorite. I loved Shao Fei. He was annoying at times, but I couldn't help but adore him and his little piece of hair that always stuck out. I also loved Tang Yi. He was a true softie on the inside. Their relationship developed so beautifully. Their chemistry was so good, and they were just amazing together. I also loved the side couple. I think we all loved Jack, to be honest. It was a BL with a more mature couple (well in age) and a great plot. Can we also get a round of applause for the fact that the sexual assaulter for once got punished for his crimes? Anyway, there were, of course, things I didn't love. I liked Shao Fei, but calling Andy a tramp was not nice of him. Also, as much as I liked Jack, I can admit that his actions were wrong at times. The first time he kissed Zhao Li An, he didn't have his consent. He also seemed to almost guilt Zhao Li And into liking him back or, more so, admitting that he liked him back. The straight couple was gross. The first time they met, Gu Dao Yi was a fully grown adult, and Zuo Hong Ye was a young child. I don't care if there wasn't actually that much of an age gap between them. It was the fact that he had romantic feelings for someone he watched grow up. That's fucking weird to me. Zuo Hong Ye was also just such an awful character in so many different ways. I really don't know why they were in this series.

It was even worse than the previous HIStory. Wow. The plot was bad and boring. The main couple was so unconvincing. The characters were mostly bad, especially Johnny. He was so insufferable, childish, and annoying. Hai Yi and Wynn also irked me many times. Wen Hsen was by far the best character. I mean, he wasn't amazing, but his crush on Wynn was kind of cute if we ignore the fact that he was Wynn's boss, of course. I honestly don't know if the acting was slightly bad or if it was just the ridiculous plot that did them no favors. To me, neither of the couples had much chemistry. Hai Yi and Johnny had, literally, none. It was all just so cheesy as well. Also, I have no idea why they thought I'd be happy to see the stepbrother couple from HIStory4 again. Never again, please.

Anyway, of course, I don't mind product placement, but every episode contained the same sales pitch. They were doing my head in. Lastly, some of the couples were left very ambiguous. I'm not sure what message they were trying to get across when they made this. It wasn't great. It was boring and all over the place. Every gay/bi person Young Taek came across was nasty. Two of them even sexually harassed/assaulted him. Of course, he'd have something against gays. Was I supposed to believe he ended up being accepting after what he went through? Young Taek was pretty gross too. He sexually harassed a girl and almost killed some other people. This movie just negatively portrayed gay people. At least the acting was good.

I was kind of bored in the second half. At first, it was cute, but later on, their relationship became borderline toxic. Mark was pretty selfish and didn't trust Henry. Instead, he trusted some stranger. It made no sense. We don't know whether they ended up together or not. My favorite was Cassie. She had some great advice.

What a mess. The incoherent subtitles didn't make things easier. All the couples except Wayha and Wayu sucked. Korn, Pawin, and Mintra were all so messy. Why would I root for any of them? Gun, Pitch, and Zo were the least interesting love trio ever. None of them had any chemistry. Gun and Pitch together made zero sense, and Zo hopelessly pursuing Pitch even though he obviously wasn't interested was uncomfortable. The plot itself was all over the place. The last episode was so chaotic. The "plot twist" wasn't very surprising to me. It was just overall disappointing. Also, no amount of sex scenes is going to make a badly written script good. So yeah, Wayha and Wayu are the only reason to watch this, honestly. Please don't make another season.
