dramas I watched in 2021

I loved the most the supernatural/fantasy aspect of it. I did find almost all the cop characters insufferable. a solid fantasy found family drama!

a good thriller drama even I found it slow and it took forever for me to watch. ngl everyone talks about how much they loved it and i felt a little underwhelmed. I did love the duo very much though, and kyuhyung was my favorite part. also love how they reenacted the murder scenes!!

one of my top 2021 dramas!! perfect cast. perfect romances. amazing writing. the cinematography is bright and colorful too!!

a wonderful melodrama with found family. very heartwarming. a cute family & ballet drama!!

a great thriller/comedy drama! i enjoyed it, I wouldn't say I was obsessed with it as everyone else is. the first 3 eps are very slow and it doesn't get good until ep 4. also i never really got into chayenzo as a couple. taecyeon being evil though!!!

everyone that knows me knows I love this drama a lot. i'm def more biased bc I love wenzhou the most. the plot is good, i didn't care much about the zhao jing/xie wang side plot at all. I loved the found family and the romance. 

it was fun law school drama. it has some murder mystery aspects but also deals with domestic abuse is a brilliant way. I love all the law school friends, and the solhwi crumbs. 

a cute drama!! three very different cute couples! this drama did drag a lot tho, and the unnecessary little plot conflicts every 4-5 eps made my head hurt.  as well as the 2nd male lead being oblivious for no reason to the 2nd female lead. overall enjoyable!

i was waiting so long for this drama and it didn't disappoint. i love the main romance the most. the plot did fizzle out by the end but sig & pby had such good chemistry! i didn't care about the 2nd lead love triangle at all though. 

i watched this for gong jun only and it was not worth it. the romance came out of nowhere, they had zero chemistry as well. the plot was dull, if they had focused more on the firefighter plot it would of been more interesting. I did think the 2nd couple was cute tho. and gong jun had better chemistry with his coworker he apparently didn't like than the female lead. 

the cutest school drama!! had so many go ahead vibes, mainly the leads had a similar vibe to jianjian & xiao. had equal amount of light fluff & angst. also the 2nd couple were cute too!

another cute drama, i loved the gumiho aspect. both romances were cute, although I preferred the 2nd couple. also the 2nd male lead was very annoying and didn't know what no means. also the red string involving him make me annoyed. the gumihos' friendship is very near to my heart. 

how itsay should have ended. it was perfect!!

i came into this with some many high exceptions because itsay was so good. this drama disappointed me so much.  it was a disservice to have the plot be over the course of all of university for starters. i'm still obsessed with the cinematography of the drama but 3-5 never happened. 

a disappointment, i did love the cinematography however. this drama really made me miss art school a lot. also sol & jiwan!!!

season 1 didn't end well, and s2 was worse. i felt like they retconned everything to get jojo with the other lead. 

just as good as the first season!! i thought this season was a lot more funny, the ending felt unresolved though.

a top tier drama!! very sad but very heartwarming!! but also i have a special place for dramas that help deal with grief. 

a cute bl!! the plot is basic but the romance is very cute!!

this drama is insane!! highly enjoyed this drama! really good thriller drama with found family.  still think about this drama daily.

originally dropped this drama but was feeling like restarting it for ji sung after tdj. it can be a little cringey at times, but also hilarious. also very heartwarming. ji sung playing 7 characters in this!!! 

a cute sports drama!! love every character, also a super heartwarming drama! also loved all the prison playbook cameos!!

cute romance drama! watched this for gong jun but enjoyed it! it was mostly a light romance but my favorite part was the angst. 

did enjoy this drama a lot. in love with the cinematography, it made me miss the beach when i live near the beach. loved all the neighbors even tho they were very cringey & annoying sometimes. all the ksh stuff at the end kind of put a damper on it for me tho.

I started this with high exceptions and it was little underwhelmed. I did love this drama a lot, however the pacing dragged out too much. I loved every single character and the leads' chemistry was on fire. 

very overhyped, but it was overally enjoyable. I almost dropped it in ep 2/3. I didn't really like the main lead that much but he grew a little on me. 

i came into this for gong jun and came out with this being in love with this drama. I loved the lu fangning most. there are some annoying characters, but they evolve. also the lu family is the cutest family ever.

I liked the first 2 eps the best tbh. there were so many insufferable characters in this drama it kind of ruined the drama for me. I only really enjoyed the main 3 leads. I did love that it was set in an art gallery.

a top tier drama, maybe my top 2021 drama!! so many well written female characters! very interesting plot! deserved more hype and i feel like not many people have seen it

my first jdrama! a sweet bl, and lovely characters. very fun & enjoyable to watch. 

enjoyable psychological drama. it does fizzle a little at the end and I thought the romance was a little irrelevant. one of gj's best dramas beside woh.
