Loved it so much that I had to purchase the manga. A lovely romance. A loving family. The most adorable little brother that steals the show time and time again. A story for those days when being happy might feel like a struggle.

A man’s plight with mental health and his first step at finally living. A love that flourishes despite the overwhelming darkness. One for those nights when you just want to feel.

A high school romance that serves cuteness galore, accompanied by a killer OST, and a side of loving mother-son duos. Plot and acting leave nothing to be desired. For all of us who were once obsessed with High School Musical.

A story of vigilantes and their fight against injustice. A pauper finds love in between the pages of peril and victory. For when you are craving a romance that leaves a message about the world we live in.

Only Friends is Only Friends. Although it might have fallen flat in some points, the acting isn't one of them. The fondness for this show comes from how great it was at its best. Watch for when you are in the mood for good acting and scenes that stick with you for a long time after. 

A lesson in love. Not everything has to be logical. Sometimes it’s okay to just want and feel. An unlikely pair find that they’re just right. Watch for when you want to remember younger days.

A series of mishaps. A tale as old as time, what you want might not be what you need. Cute, funny, romantic. Watch to feel the fluttering excitement of first love.

Engaging. Romeo and Juliett if they truly loved each other, were a heck of a lot smarter, and had a penchant for petty revenge . A pair that loves each other in their own crazy way. A love that cannot be extinguished. Watch when you want to cheer for love and have a good laugh.

Turning 30 as a virging makes you a magician. Fantastical premise. Fantastical love interest. For when you too want to fall in love with the perfect man.

A witty romantic piece that takes a shot at itself and its own kind. A disection of the BL industry that tacles sensitive matters with light fingers. A romance that burns consistent from start to finish. For when you are craving a solid romance for the ages.

Emotional. Lovely. Keeps you on your toes. A very Korean BL with strong K-drama elements. Watch for when you want an interesting and fantastical premise that doesn't loose its heart. 

These writers really took misunderstandings as a trope to the astral plane. A show shock full of things that should make your blood boil but instead endear you to this dumb pair of lovebirds. For when you're in the mood for the sort of sensibility only Japan could produce. 

A romantic comedy that is truly a comedy. An over the top character falls for the more reserved one, and helps him gain the confidence to flower into his true potential. There is no way to not fall in love with fanboy Akafuji and cutie pie Aoyanagi.  For when you need a good heartfelt laugh. 

This one is refreshing. Once again, a clear example of a story only the Japanese could write. A jaded boy falls in love with the one who truly see's him, despite his attempts at hiding his true self. For when you're in search of a drama that flips stereotypes on its head. 

My guilty pleasure. My love for Boun knows no bounds. This is my re-watch drama, the one i reach for every time I don't know what to watch, and in between new shows.  A pair who was dating 10 episodes before they realized they were dating. Win I love you. For when you need a drama where drama doesn't last long. 

Pile up the guilty pleasures. Messy and contrived but entertaining. Two high strung love stories that may leave you baffled, but never bored. Second story is where the drama shows us its best, switching its focus to Prapai and Sky. Watch for when you crave relationships that only exists in wattpad fics. You know the kind. 

A story that reminds you to live. Life does not end at 30 or 40 or 50. Youth is a state of mind. An age gap couple that shows that wisdom is not exclusive to the elderly. For when you need to be reminded that love can come at any time.

A classic. Dip your toes in the world of BL with Tine and Wat. This is THE covid lockdown obsession drama.  Watch our lead connive himself into his crush's heart. For when you are new to BL and want a drama that’s cute but tame.

Best friends to lovers. A trope that just hits every time. Can anyone on this list love each other as much as these two? Maybe not. For when you are in search of a simple love and  a one and only.

Another best friends to lovers, because like I said, this trope is a winner. A one sided romantic love that threatens to crumble a  childhood friendship. For when you miss the fresh scent of first love. 

Another guilty pleasurer on this list. TBH I hated Bed Friend's the first time I watched it. I just couldn't stomach the pain Uea was dragged through. I liked it a lot more the second time around, and the credit goes to how much chemistry Net and James have together.  Watch it for when you want to be pissed of at shitty parents and shitty people in general.  I set you free, your anger is valid. 

The more I ponder on this drama... the more messed up it is and the less I enjoy it.  Maybe one day it will drop of this list. For now, I have to say it's iconic and a must watch. A mafia drama with shitty human beings galore, but doesn't that make it more authentic? Watch it for Apo.  One for when you're in the mood for romanticized mafiosos.
