- The pilot episodes hurt me to the core); I expected rages more than tears but my frail heart couldn't lie..
- Doctor jung is the only character I love here. I always fell for good guys and absolutely hit the spot ((": can we have him as kind-hearted and warm male icon? Just how many tears should I shed): Yoon bok the child actor never failed me since the guest, (I remember how she got posessed there) and see what she's done here!
- The damned word "Lingkaran setan" really fits the drama. It's how your mom treated you, makes how you treat (your) child as an adult.
- honestly it's a really good melodrama that brings childhood psychology as the topic. not something I would crave but how it represents child's mental health and how beautifully they wrapped the love hate relationship between children (adulting child) and their parents is definitely eye opening and worth every minute to watch. really give out the moral values and convey it in the proper ways possible. for a 2018 drama I think the cinematography and some of the actors'acting kinda old styled. for story, plot, and writing 9.0 score is worth it, but for me personally the enjoyability scored 8 to 8.5

- The rating was really high, also heard this one was an epic angsty tw drama, so it's an easy start. First episode wasn't that catchy with traumatized FL and her office life, it'd take a few more stack to finally get what the drama was all about. A woman that time travels to the past, teking over someone's life whose in the end save her soulmate's future. Things were kinda sweet at first until one by one truth reveals. Unpredictable, dramatic, perfect timeline, mysterious, heartbreaking.
- I didn't count how many layers of timeline made in this actual story, what I know is the cycle was matched and well thought. Only the real Wan Quansheng I think was dead by the possession of Li Ziwei. Then there are 2 LZWs and both are dead. Wow! Super mindblowing. They actually makes LZW experience both his own lofe and WQS life to get to love HYX over again. Storywise it's the best time travel show I've watched this far, the focus on the timeline is nicely written. The actors, since the main 2 were superb, the others wont be minded that much. The plot, they really know how to wrap secrets and surprise the audience one at a time. Characters' problem solving I think is reasonable, thoughtful, and convincing though things could be frustrating (which also add up the stress and dramatization). Succesfully had me unable to move on. Lzw got me falling head over heels, hard. Musics are... THE HIGHLIGHT OF IT, it's been stuck on my mind ever since)":
- truly hope the remake wont suck!!!

GENRE 1 / Romance

- Cw comment: Didnt know atm that it was an adult romance, whoops missing it): actlly reaally cute and can be watched in one go but.... interview parts kinda made my head pounds sometimes. Lets see whats the tropes and if theres even a little consd of dropping it.
- final: I personally didnt like the interview concept at first cuz it was dizzying. First episodes was boring but it gets better as the other couples' story was told. I thought 8 was the highest score they deserve but nOoOo.. i can't deny the fact that I liked it! it's light, cute, funny and entertaining. The comedy fits my taste a lot. Let's forget about first couple's dumb and frustrating story and u'll find a healing light-hearted rom-com.
Each played their characters really well that it got me changing my perspective towards JCW. I never rlly liked him after watching Suspicious Partner and Melting Me Softly (I dropped the second one). He was so crazy in love with the FL there, that it made him look like a fool, and he nailed that character. All the self bickering and desperate gestures were unbelievably cute! At least for me ^^
Kang Geon and Sun-young's story is the funniest. They deserve better and longer part cuz i liked the two that much);

8. I'm Tee Me Too
Thai Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
GENRE 1 / Comedy
Stat: Completed (03/20/2022)
- odd funny and light as thai comedies always are. could be binged in one go with a snack on your weekend. having overused plot, oveused value, and overused oldie comedy style but still worth your time ifyou're looking for something over the top crazy and short in duration but also touched with shallow melodrama and bromanship.
-
9. Bad Guys
Korean Drama - 2014, 11 episodes
GENRE 1 / Psychology
Stat: Comleted (02/28/2022)
- Starting my psych genre challenge. Been wanting to watch this cuz it's rated quite highly and kinda intriguing with the movie-like synopsis. And did I like the pilot eps? I knew it won't be the kind of theme I'd drop but there's something about the characters that I couldn't fond of, it's kinda exaggerated and unnatural. It is ofc a high level exaggeration of crime but, that's actually the point that turns me down. I'd love smth more natural which flows like river, but these ones gave me the feeling of, u kno, water from the fire hydrant?? After all, beside the characterisation and acting, it's not going to be something I'd hold for too long nor carelessly drop. Not gonna be a fav or a flop either.
- Easy to finish yet still manage to bother me in some ways. My review is only based on my experience watching mostly newer dramas. A 2014 drama with this theme was maybe quite new, so ppl kinda loved the way it turned out back then but for me, i couldn't understand the perfect or almost perfect score they gave. K-drama has developed so much espc the suspense genre. Compared to what I've watched until now, it's completely nothing. The smoky setting is quirky, the acting as I wrote above is exaggerated, the cases are also too odd. The villain is too easy to figure out and as a prosecutor, i think he's too absurd and reckless. It shouldve been an investigation drama but the investigation is careless and unneatly done. The revelation from jong taesu was too weird! Etc etc . Im left with nothing to praise. Things are rushed and inconsistent. Oh except the action, that was beautiful!

10. The Red Sleeve
Korean Drama - 2021, 17 episodes
GENRE 1 / Historical
Stat: Completed (01/27/22)
- So, First Impression. Easily grabs my full attention! It's too good to miss for such a good start cuz I never found saeguk interesting. Yup I guess it's my firsttttt pure saeguk. couldn't count Moon Lovers 'cuz it was kinda have a sprinkle of fantasy. Every saeguks I've watched before this one was aactually fantasy-saeguk, either zombies or the Mains who walk thru nd fro the past and future.
- The little San got my eyes shittily watery for his godly act while crying. Every move he did actually daesang worthy, where did kdrama industry find such greatttt child actors I've seen on tv!?!??! Let's not miss The King, he always made me kinda nervous with his unreadable face expression));
- Didn't expect that it'd play with my emotion as if it's some drugs! This far, an easy 9.5 for how simple yet given enuf attention on the writing and main roles' characterisation. It's everything I need from a romance♡ Btw I've always had bad feelings bout the crown prince's friend who happens to be his teacher.. and his logic bout San's decision tho!
- Just how much we love this show with every twist on each episode, really good acing (my fav is the FL), and wonderful chemistry. { i thinkif I were to watch another melo with such plot, only saeguk could do, bcs if it's about nowadays' term it'd be a weirdly written bad crime drama.} Praise the writer to create this masterpiece! Nothing's odd about the drama. The portions for romance, melo, comedy is just perfect. Not to mention the beautiful shoot and color palette for the nuances and the costumes. Not really my type, so I can't give out an easy 9 though it was undeniably amazing. It's a sincere 8.8 so it's written 8.5. What more should I rant about? I laughed and cried along with it, I got jittery and biting my nails in nervousness, what a package! ("""";

- ttak joha! It's the kind of slice-of-life i've been dying for. i'd really hate jingoo's crush to the hardest if she turns out not liking him back. cuz everyone should see how she acts around him. she's really a player bitch if that doesnt show that she likes jingoo. i'll surely hate the writer too:/
- I finished it longer than it should be, but it's not my fault, it's on the drama. It has nothinh special than the praiseworthy actors. Oh Jungse, Kim Youngkwang, Yook Sungjae. Sure thing I only watched it for them, but things were cute and uncomplicated. Too bad that OJS's gf charaacter is the most frustrating and unbelievably annoying. They shouldve written better plot for her, bcs we cant evn count her as a FL. The only FL here is actually 1st son's, and if we sum the story we can tell that the main story is about the first son. Still, nothing's that special. It's only about 4 men (2 guys 2 boys) who grow up through heartbreaks. There were clichésome thingies we've seen on romances: Encounter, re-encounter, get backs, repented player, head over heels in love, lies, ditched, farewell, revelation, fighting, with the bestie, happy ending. It's still enjoyable though it gets boring at times. An 8.0 would be toooo ridiculous if I had to compare with other 8.0s on the list, so it's gonna be a 7.75 stars for the fun watch experience ^^

- ***MAAAJORR SPOILER ALERT***
- Such a crazy drama with twists here and there. Action was rlly good. Theme such a turnoff. Many were dead even the leads. Mistake: when Pildo fell from a building (fight w/ psycho gang) looks clear that he used sling cuz his feet fell first when it should always be body first.
- I actually dont like something really intense like this show. It kinda remind me of Beyond Evil which I didn't give a high rating..
• But the action SLAAAYYYYYYYED it! The use of blades instead of guns making all the fighting parts work really well. One of the best action-thriller I've ever watched. The storyline still quite interesting tho I never liked Businessman vs. Police theme. The twists... got me everytime. It keeps me thinking "what are they up to" "wtf really" "how tf this happened" "NOOO THEY WEREN'T JUST..."
•You'll get the answer to "why would they name it My Name?" in ep7 (Maybe anyone else would've discovered that sooner but my head was always pure (or empty to be exact) everytime i watch drama^^ no conspiracies, neither anything similar)
• Still cannot move on from my confusement about Jeon Pildo and the psycho jerk. L?K at the first pic! (imagine the right one smiling) They look so alike);
• If you ever wondered about the after story, the father-daughter in uniform pic actually gave u a hint: she eventually became a graphic editor... maybe it was her dream job before her life got messed up.

- 2/6: Wtf the prologue. Im so down for the couple cuz i reaaalllly love the two! Shin haesun tho... she's so full of energy and emotion. I've seen her doing ballet, fake playing violin, and this time fake singing.... AND SHE NAILEEEDDDD ITTTTTT. But i know its gonna be a sad ending drama with more or less tragedies. Let's see?
- One thing. I wish it was a longer historical-documentary drama bcs I'll love it wayyyy moreeee than Youth of May (well tbh i didnt like youth of may ???)
Beautiful but not that much, tragic but not that much. Feels like a movie that's separated into parts but less intriguing. Afterall i liked the story and the 2 leads. I wished to hear the "The Hymn of Death" song itself and expected it to be something the FL composed and the lyrics written by the ML.

- Cw comment: this show couldnt grab enuf of my attention, that things keep distracting me as I try to focus on it. Not something I wanna drop but not something that keeps me bingeing either. 12 eps will take longer than it should be.
- Ep 4 turned the game! It might not be new and so predictable, but it never failed to get me ugly sobbing )""";Since the 4th ep where the conflicts started to rise up until the very last scene in the last episode where harabeoji met chaerok again it got me crying tons of tears. Good thing i didnt watch it in one go, or else i could've passed out, dehydrated. Was it me being too emotional or was it the drama, im not even sure.. to me, neither hi bye mama nor move to heaven could beat the amount of tears and snot it's produced (?) out of me)":
- Kind of an age-gap bromance i'd die for. Will surely come back here for a good cry.

25. Cat's Cradle
Chinese Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
SPECIFIC / Adapted (from a novel)
Stat: Completed (02/03/22)
- first 5 minutes was crazy, i hope it gets crazier as the show goes. and suddenly Chinese makjang!? It's kinda slow and lacks conflict on each episode. I need to see more of the kids' risky pathways vs. Psychotic murderer, than burdening OOT conflicts that come out of nowhere. YCY's mom though, She's giving me this lumping anger as a strict, dishonest, unsmiley, mean, and ignorant single parent. She's not likable at all tho we know how much she cares about her son.
- suudzon
- YCY n father: whats the shot?Is he just being honest about his feelings? Or is he playing a trick on his father? just like how Chaoyang sweet-talk his father into getting him to feel guilty about his suspicion towards Chaoyang. Then he can grab his father's heart and attention again. Everything about the look on people's eyes here is making me kinda nervous...
- LL's letter: r u kidding me!? She was the one who brought the dead kid there that it happened. How dare she said such thing. I was taken aback, wishing there were more to the 'fell-off' story but.. (while there actually were more to it as i initially thought)
- finished it and now i got CONFUSED?! It's highly rated. Lots of them even give out an easy 10/10 but i dont get it. If i get to list what I didn't like it has a lot. Draggy, unnecessary drama, poor cut, weird characterisation, inconsistent side, BUT THE CHILD ACTORS PLAYED IT SO WELL. THEY JUST PLOTTING IT BADLY TO AN ALREADY GOOD PREMISE. things areso intense w/ the no music and dark theme and how shits could come any minutes. I liked it. It was a good suspense, drama and friendship in one full package, but what kind of package? A bulky one which has the rope tying it too tightly that it curved here and there which contains diamond! So was it good or bad? Good but badly polished):

- starting this out of curiosity after finishing "I dont want to be friend with you" which wasmy personal favorite chine youth drama. I was finishing highly rated youth drama "our secret which is for me too overly rated and it almost dropped my expectation towards any c youth dramas, and after I watched this one's first 5 eps (in no tine at all) I already fell in love with everything this show manages to present. to say that almost all c-youthcontained cliche, I couldnt say so on this one. the hardcore unrequited love that it has made my heart rush along with curiosity, excitement, and expectation as FL and ML strive for their 'jjak sarang'. though i couldn't relly like theFL here, other aspects burried down the negatives makes it a mond of positives instead. really hoping a notboring ending bcs all the process wasn't boring at all

- watching with no expectations, but this had quite blown up my mind. all the comedies are properly pulled out. the beast, the fool, and the normal characters is what a female centered friendship drama needs. Their background stories and and personality as they attract one another were lovely and very much interesting. asI am a character-oriented person when it comes to watching dramas, I like this show a lot. the chemistry between each character looked so real as if they were really good friends irl rather than just a performance. something like this drama or what resembles this one--age of youth would easily get straight A from me
