Again My Life (2022)

Both shows have the protagonist get a second chance for revenge for the greater good of whatever they were after

Both involve the prosecution, rampant corruption in the system, and political intrigue with the MC being a public prosecutor while seeking justice/truth. There is also the theme of justice and what it means. Both Antagonists also believe ends justify the means. (This is explored more in-depth in Strangers ) Both also give no focus to a romantic plotline.

BUT apart from these, the vibes are totally different. I enjoyed watching both but in different ways.

While Again My Life is more action thriller with wonderful action scenes and acting from Lee Min Gi, and is extremely entertaining, thrilling, and satisfying to watch. It is based on a fantasy of a second chance at life, where MC is blessed with multiple talents, lots of luck, and fateful encounters with the perfect people.

Strangers S1&2 is a more serious political drama thriller with more complex characters and a plot grounded in everyday nitty-gritty realism where MC suffers lots of losses and setbacks and is nowhere as charming and socially adept and lacks any of the social support the former (Again My Life MC )has. It is however a terrific watch and Cho Seung Woo's chemistry with Bae Donna (despite also being a non-romance drama, in Strangers you actually root for and ship the main leads more!) is a pleasure to see, the cast's acting and cinematography are also truly top-notch!

These two dramas contain a male lead who have nothing to lose or protect, and are fierce. These dramas also have the genre Law and Mystery which make them similar. Kim jae kyung stars in both the dramas.

In both dramas, ML dies and meets a being who gives them another chance at life. In Again My Life, he goes back in time and tries to get revenge on the one who killed him, whereas in Death's Game, he goes through various lives trying to survive the Lesson Death plans on teaching him.

Both male leads try to go back in time to solve the regrets in their life. Again My Life's goal is to stop the bad guy before gaining a position in power and Somehow 18 goal is to save his childhood classmate.

Both male leads go back in time when they were in high school. My Life Again is an action/drama while 18 Again is a slice life.

the two have the same job and they want to know how their life is going to become like this.. ? ? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??

Both Dramas have a strong leads want to be the best at what they do to take down the bad guys.
Both Dramas have politicians suspected of corruption
Both Dramas have public prosecutors but some take bribes from Business groups and having Assemble man controlling everyone so he can keep manipulating them in more corruption.
Both Dramas have the Assemble Man killing anyone in his way.

- The plot gives me similar vibes
- ML is Prosecutor in Again My Life gets killed and has given second chance
- Goes back in time to take Perfect Revenge on his killer

I recommend this both drama because , Male lead and Female lead
try to solve problem
In one drama explosion and another student murder/suicide

1. both Male leads are intelligent and have future knowledge.
2. Both plots are similar to a chess game, with multiple players.

Both involve ML playing the long game in revenge by calculating it over multiple years. In both, ML assembles a group of allies to help him achieve his goal. Both have great OSTs.

=> Lee Joon Gi doing a lot of action stunts in modern drama
=> We see him training in boxing
=> I recommend Time Between Dog and Wolf to Again My Life fans as I personally think this is where he showed his best acting in modern drama (aside from Flower of Evil)
