Both dramas have a similar feel with the main leads having a childhood connection between them. They're both cute, fluffy romances that make you love the main leads so much. They also have hilarious comedy.

Fight For My Way is also a realistic portrayal of life but instead of talking about youngsters in their 20s, university, first love and so on; it's more about life when you are in your late 20s and early 30s. Do you have a stable job with a decent income? Dreams vs. realistic goals. More committed relationships and marriage. However, both dramas depict the priceless value friendships

Old friend relationship goes to love relationship. Both dramas have the male lead in sports. The chemical charm between leads is so perfect in both shows.

Both follow a same age range group of friends-turned-lovers and offer a refreshing slice of life romance with lessons on friendship. The friend group in LSITC has very similar chemistry compared to the FFMY one.

Both have..

-strong-willed, independent women who can fend for themselves
-female lead is proud
-female leads find themselves in unhealthy relationships
-childhood friends
-friends closer to each other than to their families
-mixing platonic feelings with romantic feelings
-characters have unfulfilling lives/jobs
-unexpected plot development (not entirely related to the whole storyline though)
-very attractive actors/actresses
-super cute and lovable romance
-100% worth your time

Ensemble cast of young adults trying to make it through their late 20s while dealing with the ups and downs of life and relationships

long time friends who turn into lovers but not before denial and other factors coming in the way before they end up together. was a hit in Taiwan and if you love friends to lovers trope then this will be perfect to watch.
Recommandé par Civie
Both have very strong female leads who can have a tendency for violence. Ae Ra and Dan Ah both get screwed over a lot, but work hard because they want a better life. The humor is similar. Both dramas will make you laugh out loud one minute, and then cry the next.

-Both are friends to lovers
-Both have a bickering couple
-There is a secondary couple in both of them
-The Female Lead gets cheated on in both
-Both are light fluffy and funny dramas
Recommandé par Bubblegum20
Both dramas are about long time friends who don't know their feelings about each other. Bubblegum was more dramatic, the main subjetc was the family. I think Fight For My Way has more comedy and related to other things than family, life, job and relationships.

* Park Seo Joon lead's both series.
* Slice of life type drama that shows the leads fighting against themselves and external factors in achieving their dreams against all odds
*Slow burn romance that takes time to develop from friendship to something more
*Revenge plot that takes years to resolve

Itaewon is definitely a more mature, darker drama, but I loved both series and could see the similarities as listed above.

Both show a group of characters who cling to their talents and dreams, and how they notice that the opinion of others is not as important as what they think of themselves.

Based on the korean drama.
Synopsis of the korean drama:
Can you still go after your dreams without the right background?
Ko Dong Man has always dreamed of becoming famous as a taekwondo athlete but now works as a contract employee in a mundane job. His bickering longtime friend, Choi Ae Ra, aspires to become a television anchor but works instead at the information desk of a department store.
Their friends, Kim Joo Man and Baek Seol Hee have been dating for six years but face a new threat to their relationship.
Can the four friends achieve their individual dreams despite having “third-rate” qualifications?

it also talks about friends, people who work hard to survive and their daily life stories. similar fashion and interior style as well. it just has the same atmosphere.

Both dramas have a strong female lead and a dumb male lead.
Both dramas are funny but Choon Hyang has a more melodramatic moment compare to Fight for My Way. Both males lead have someone else as their first love and their close friends also become a couple.

Both are an interesting drama to watch. Choon Hyang is underrated here but it was considered a very successful drama during the first wave of K drama. I encourage you to try it out.
