The childhood "friend"ships, and featuring cute end clips of them in their childhood interactions.
FFMW has MMA, while SIL has ice skating related sports
male leads love sport are kinda dorky
female leads are very confident and sassy

They both have comedic values in them and it involves the story and the budding romance between two childhood friends. It also portrays the process of how the childhood friends grow from not-too-successful to successful in their career paths. The similiarity between the girl main character is seen as they are both strong and rash. Although reply 1988 focuses on family values more than romantic relationships, Fight For My Way also presents the moral of family in throughout the drama. There are many other similarities between these two dramas.

I think both of these have many similar concepts. In both of these dramas, there is a couple having trouble in their long relationship. There is also also a similarity in the concept of “dreams” too.

The overly used drama or movie trope but still manages to capture our hearts:

"Bestfriends turning into lovers"

Will get you frustrated sometimes on why they have to deny their feelings for so long, but then again, you will understand that, they do not want to ruin the special friendship that they have. But will finally realize that it is worth to cross the line and go on and follow their hearts. In the end, love wins for everyone.

"Love Next Door" and "Fight for My Way" share a strong resemblance as both are cute romcoms featuring long-term friends who bicker, support each other through life's struggles, and gradually develop romantic feelings. The main characters in both dramas live close to each other and have a tight-knit bond with each other's families, adding depth to their evolving relationship. The natural progression from friendship to love, filled with sweet and relatable moments, makes both dramas heartwarming and engaging for viewers.

They have both the "Bestfriends turned lovers" theme... Like, you are already secretly in love with your bestfriend, but you guys are still denying it, keeping it, or don't wanna ruin the friendship...then another guy comes along to emphasize more how the male bestfriend will get jealous and actually admit to himself that he is really inlove with his bestfriend...But will not do anything about it...till fate just makes them end up together...sweet...

The overall feel and warmth are quite similar.

Both stories tell about people who seem lost somewhere in their lives and start to pursue their old dreams again. The characters are strong and well written, even the supporting cast, and their interactions and the skinship feel very natural. The romances and struggles are well founded, too.

Go Go Waikiki is definitely funnier, but both dramas are about people doing their best to be successful in their own terms.

Normal people learning and stumbling, winning and losing, understanding their own value, and especially dreaming a lot, is the best experience this show leaves us. It's unusual but energizing to find a drama that focuses on characters struggling for a dream or struggling to find it.

Both have pretty similar vibe. Both dramas contain serious moments, hilarious parts and super cute main couple, which you may learn a thing or two from watching it.
