First episode is peppered with some editing issue, but storywise, I am sold!I love JungInSun from her days at Eulachacha Waikiki, and SoJiSub from Master's Sun and Venus... These two, and cute twins are so refreshing.
The side casts are doing very good job. I love KangKiYung interpretation of stay-at-home Appa. SohnHoJun, last I saw him was in three meals a day, sometimes still hard to see him in this role of a CDO of some bag importer company , but he is getting better.
Can't wait for next episode !

BE CAREFUL VERY TRIGGERING
I dropped it after only 2 episodes because it's veryyyy triggering! Even if you think it is not a big deal like me at first, if you have had any experiences with suicide, you will definitely get triggered! Please be careful since they go very in depth and you will see everything in full detail.I think that if this is not something you have experience with, you might still be okay watching it, so don't take this review as a bad one. I only wanted to help some people who might be sensitive to these issues like me. ;)
PS: I will give it a 5 since I can't submit the rating empty but I will not give this a rating since I didn't watch enough to be able to rate it but I felt like I needed to write this in case someone was in the same situation as me.

Noticed the male leads voice is dubbed
Just discovered this drama and decided to give it a try since I recognize the actor Zhao Yi Qin from his previous drama Wait for my Youth. I guess they dubbed his voice in this one because I saw him in an interview and noticed his deep voice. And it was used in Wait for my Youth. But in this drama, his voice is totally different. But then I read online somewhere that in modern dramas, if the actors can speak in the standard Mandarin that is accepted in China, they will go ahead and use their own voices to dub into the drama. But in the historical dramas, they tend to use other voices.Cet avis était-il utile?

Guardians of the Dafeng

It's what joy of life would have been if it tried way too hard.
So i watched all of joy of life season 1 and the concept of ML coming from future was implemented better in that drama. Joy of life ML would make funny quips and the comedy was not in your face/ slapstick like we see in Guardians of Dafeng. Me and my partner watched 3 episodes of this and thought it was super corny. Like i didn't even feel interested in seeing what the point of the drama was. There were moments where he solved cases where it just showed him forcing confessions out of people or already investigated prior to the viewer knowing. Too much suspension of disbelief needs to be applied. And this was only in the first 3 episodes.
Maybe it's more suited for Chinese audience . I like dylan wang but i just felt like i was watching naruto when i was 13 again lol

Really? Is this the best we can expect of Thai series in 2022?
The first episode is disgraceful. Appalling wooden acting that is worse than the worst pantomime scenes in other Thai drama - at least in others they were amusing interludes.Appalling too as a story line which may pretend to do justice to the injustices inflicted on homosexual men in the past. However, it is clearly only a pretence in order to make a drama to gain some of the BL audience. I will only continue to watch this to see how they build this BL drama. At the moment it looks as if we will be seeing another trope using the perceived elder brother's effeminacy as an acceptable image of a gay man and the historic drama as another excuse for these historic attitudes,.
I am hoping that this is not the case but am reluctant to suggest it might get better. If this is another drama showing the stalking of another man in pursuit of unrequited love or their assault (sexual or otherwise) then what audience are they hoping to educate for the future?

Another japanese surprise
Hooray! My most favorite country has done the deed again with another surprising BL.
Do I like the characters so far? Yes.
Do I like the setting? Hm, it is a school-story, so not sure about that.
Do I like the music? YES!!!
I may have to revise my opinion while watching the series, but the first episode is quite promising - out of line characters (OMG I love the Band!), inner monologues and the music is not the same old mainstream white washed music trash - I do have my hopes up!

Spoiler Alert
The second episode is a lot to talk about actually. I was screaming with joy seeing Kant being jealous of Bison. But turns out we were wrong. Felt heartbroken ngl. The only one is truly catching feeling is Fadel. The doesn’t know Style doing all this flirting to give him a lesson and a car. And the last scene 👌 epic. How he was not trying to give in to his desire also how his body betrayed with the same time. I love how P'Jo made clear that Fadel is now driven by his physical attraction now which will eventually turn into an emotional connection.Cet avis était-il utile?
The Imperial Coroner

Crime Investigation in historical setting is not my cup of tea. It was so boring and too slow.
The Imperial Coroner is a crime investigation drama in a historical setting. I listened to AvenueX's raved review about it, and I like the lead actor Wang Zi Qi, so I checked it out. I watched 6 episodes of it and found it freaking boring. Chinese crime drama, in general, is quite dull, and to have it done in historical drama and dragged to 36 episodes is a bit much.I found it dull for modern-day crime drama to be dragged to 24 episodes, let alone a historical one. I was unengaged, and I should have known that AvenueX recommendations are usually not to my liking.
The on-screen chemistry between Wang Zi Qi and Su Xiao Tong is not as good as his on-screen chemistry with Wang Yu Wen. I love Wangs in Once We Get Married and currently streaming The Love You Give Me.
I am dropping this drama and would not recommend it if you are not into crime investigation in a historical setting.
I am giving a 5.0 because of the boring script.

Travel back in time to re-discover unspoken confessions
Delving into the first two eps, I can say that it lived up to my expectations or even exceeded it. Excuse me, the moment when sunjae revealed that he had that kind of feeling at first sight with im sol, I was screaming my heart out! So many coincidences. I can already see that taesung will have deeper feelings with im sol. Girl, the chemistry is already there! The visuals are giving and the osts just gives more into the vibe, I can already see myself adding this into one of my favorites if the upcoming eps will not add unnecessary plot. I'm telling you that you'll love this if you like extraordinary you. You don't know how I loved that drama and it feels like I'm back to highschool. It feels more special to me that hyeyoon is the lead, you know she won't disaappoint. Its been so long since hyeyoon has starred in an idol drama and its wooseok's first lead role in a series. Looking forward to the upcoming eps and hoping it won't have a sad ending!
