I didn't give a full 10 cuz I found that the two main characters' scenes were limited. Though I find the other cast enjoyable, too much time was spent there. I know I didn't watch this for Min&Wan's story or for Pan&Fah, which I found even less interesting. These couples' time on screen could have been edited out shorter. I found that damn girl coach segment especially annoying too. If it's a BL, then make it a BL rather lump every other couples' problem as if it were the main story (ah but I'm reminded its GMM, and they tend to bait people). If I wanted an Everyone Drama, I'd stick to watching stuff like Hormones. So next time, production team, less dragging around and more focus on the driven source of the drama.

Casting: Earth and New's chemistry was on par. They did really good together. The kiss scene felt natural. A 10 for them and 8 for the rest of the cast.
Music: Love Pete Pol. A 10 Also.
Rewatch: Only when I'm bored. Even then I'll just watch Waii and Apo.
Overall: Narrative could have been better. A 7 here.

This production is always awesome with this crew. I just didn't give it a full 10 cuz I'm so annoyed with stories that have the stupid/repetitive one-dimensional NangRai (evil woman/girlfriend) who never seems to take the hint that she's not wanted and does the usual one-dimensional Thai-Soap-Opera bad things to get her way. I do love Yiwah and Fai's characters though. Yiwah's spicy with mama vision and is protective of her cubs (KornxKnock) and Fai's tomboy with hidden beauty figure.

Other than that, one of the best Thai BL couple in the industry of Thai BL making (aside from SingtoxKrist and MewxArt). Max and Tul are fucking amazing at what they do and the level of chemistry they project is extremely fluid, which shows their level of professionalism. I fell for them in Bad Romance and fell even harder in Together With Me. So Looking to watch the new Season.

Go Max! Go Tul! Woot. Woot.

Overall - Loved it.
Rewatch - Yes. Though I just skip to Max and Tul's moments. (hehe).

I've read some parts of the English Translation and maybe it's just me but I wasn't in love with the story one bit. Actually I found it confusing. And the Series didn't help one bit. It dragged on. I'm aware of the 'Big China Ban' on its BL/GAY theme entertainment but come on, fine so don't have kiss scenes, I can live without the physical connection since the verbal chemistry between the two lead was good, but at least work on smoothing a consistent plot. This was a major PWP for me. The only thing worth even 4 stars for this Series is its casting. The two lead actors are very good. That's about all I could say for this Series.

Rewatch value = None.

I've read several things regarding this movie from writer/director Park Hoon-Jung. And many were offended by the use of anonymous female actresses in here to where I think, if I recall, Park Hoon-Jung even had to announce he'd do a better research of how to portray women in future projects. Well, I'm a woman and I say, The Hell. The thing is, if you're going to watch a movie and be offended or unable to take its content, do a review search first- the great wide-web is full of summary/critique reviews. Yes, there are gory movies which its purpose seems to glorify men and denigrate women but this film wasn't one of them. VIP's basic element was just to tell a story. It wasn't about the use of women or what women stood for here, but about political interest with the center of it all being a psychopath rapist/murderer. So if Park Hoon-Jung's antagonist is a nut bag with no soul, should he had written the character as a mild murderer who thinks twice about hurting women or better yet meekly portrayed that into his movie? No. The antagonist here was written, intentionally, to be brutal to the core. It's what the story is. And for anyone to tell a writer/director he needs to improve his execution of how he portrays one genre so to not offend people is banal. It's like telling a painter not to paint what he wants because the colors/themes he uses is too provocative for the sensitive minds. I suggest people watch what doesn't offend them then. Art isn't meant to be pretty. It's meant to be expressive even if we may find it absurd at times. I'm not denying the volatile depiction and graphic content of VIP, I did find it gruesome but I'm saying it's what it is, a film written to be that way. Park Hoon-Jung is famous for creating weaving complex political/crime stories: The Unjust, I Saw The Devil, New World. So These plots are to be expected.

Now as to the movie, it was a well written plot with all the political intrigue being the force behind it. It portrays how government agencies are taught to view the bigger picture (always for national interest first) before individual citizens. The local cop is but a pawn in this scheme - a lone wolf racing to end an injustice being done to innocent women. I like the leading cast of this crew very much. And Lee Jong-Suk really needs to broaden his horizon. This movie allowed him to do that. It took him out of the redundant typecast romance/rom-com pretty prince for a short while. We get to see that he is capable of other roles so I do hope he branches out more. It'd be a waste of his talent to just stick to easy roles.

Overall - good.

Recommend - It is an intriguing story if one looks pass the disturbance. Only for those who can stomach brutal movies.

I'm a big fan of this type of thriller. The first episode got me hooked on and I liked how the story developed so you'd think I'd give a 10 but no. I feel like the producers were just testing the waters with this show and hadn't thought of how to properly finalize it. But it's still a very good drama. I just wished they put a second season to it.

I also liked the cast a lot.

Overall: good settings, good development and great story but could have been so much more.
Rewatch: No due to the many plot holes.

It is from author/mangaka Nakamura Asumiko so expect crazy plots. She's got a few your regular-typical BL but Double Mint isn't one of them. I like the premise of the story. Dark and violent (not Takahashi Mike or Sion Sono violent but you get the gist). And the actors weren't half bad in this film. But I get tired of BL stories with rape in it. It's too common in the BL world and not my thing. You can tell it's low budget but the production did well for it's given amount.

Overall: an Ok movie. It's entertaining.
Rewatch? Nothing I yearn to see a second time.

I watched the whole series to see what the hype was. After 12 episodes, I still don't get the hype about this series. Production was only mediocre, though I suspect this has more to do with financial lacking. Plot wise, the story sucked ass. Clichés can be done well. But that wasn't the case for 2Moon. It was a cheap-shot amateur drama for those who crave ANYTHING boys love. The author of this BL novel series didn't even try but merely packed the story with all things they read from other BL stories. Story's extremely shallow.

I do like Khemmonta though. I like him as an actor, good talent. As for God, very good looking guy but holy crap if a stone had a face - dude's got deadpan expression. Perhaps go back and take acting lessons and learn the art of facial expressions. And first time acting has nothing to do with it. Plenty of first time actors who pulled off their first role. I hear debates about pulling a second season or just cancelling it. I think cancelling it would do the actors greater justice so each of those young talent can move on to better projects. BL or not.

Someday, I'll have to find the UK version just to see. This Korean version though is amazing. This really mess with one's head, especially the ending. When I first read the summary I thought i'd be another Tunnel or Signal but Life on Mars is nothing like it. If anything this drama reminds me more of Leonardo Dicaprio's Inception, which is a real mind-bog. This drama focuses on what one defines his/her reality to be.

Characters: I found all of them interesting. From the prideful captain to the two lowkey detectives and the dedicated female officer. And the male lead was pretty solid in here with his struggle to define his place in time.

Plotwise: The story was told in a fascinating way with how the lead character experiences living in the past and his constant mind inceptions with the present through TV or Radio channel. This is why this show is so good because we get to learn about the serial killers' background from the male lead's POV. I don't know of any show that has done it this way where the antagonist's life is exposed through the detective that is chasing him's dream of the past. The ending defines the entire story. Especially that last minute epilogue which screams a second season (perhaps the lead detective will find his way back home - again).

Music: I loved the music. It gave the show the vibe the story needed.

Overall: Very good show with interesting characters and story.

Recommendation: If anyone wants a break from the bottomless ocean of kdrama romance, TRY something of this genre. The only way you'd be disappointed is if you had no interest in these types of storylines.

Rewatch - yes.

I'm a huge fan of Yoneda Kou. I liked the story though it's not my favorite from her. However, though the film wasn't bad, I minded the actors. When I was watching, I didn't feel any chemistry between the leads. It was dead flat. I don't want to compare but take a look at the Takumi-Kun series (with the exception of the first movie), even if the production wasn't all that, the two leads there did great. These two guys in this movie though lacked fluidity.

Overall - a 5 star for trying to bring the amazing Yoneda Kou's manga to live action. Next time , I'd like to see Nights or Soredemo, Yasashii Koi o Suru, the Onoda and Deguchi story. I think that's a more interesting one to make into live action.

Rewatch - No.

Recommend - Meh, yeah if you're a Yoneda Kou fan. Otherwise this is passable, just wait and hope they made Onoda and Deguchi's story and pick better actors.

Was debating to watch this drama when it first came out since i'm not big on medical/hospital drama. Really, I find them extremely boring . However I finally got up to watch Cross and wasn't disappointed. I think it's because this was a crime/thriller genre and not so much about medical/hospital stuff. The story could have done without the repeated catch and release between good guy and bad guy, found this repetition annoying. I get they needed something to keep the plot going but such idea could have easily been replace by different scenarios. Other than that slight redundancy the show itself was enjoyable. Kdrama in this type of genre really like to drown their main character in excruciating pain and sorrow. Go Kyung Pyo was very good for the lead role, he has such sad eyes playing this part.

Overal - good show.
Rewatch - onces is good.

Thoughts:

So I really didn't know what this show would entail. Compare to other popular dramas I saw almost no promotion for it. Truth is, if I wasn't on this site and seen the cover picture for it and clicked it, it would have been one of those dramas that I'd just overlook. Which is what makes this site great. I'm usually bias when it comes to romance drama because in the drama world it's so overly done that many of them cheesy and super annoying to watch. But I'm really glad I picked this show up. It exceeded my expectations.

________________________
Production:

PACE is the main reason why even though sometimes I may like a story as a whole, I still find myself fast-forwarding it. That and pointless arch stories or subplots with side characters that really does little to compliment the show. Which is why I'm glad this drama did NOT have any of those nuances. The production team who handled Come and Hug Me did it so to a marvelous pace. Every episode moved the show accordingly, every side characters had a relevant role all relating back to the two leads. And when I say relevant, I mean the side characters didn't take unnecessary screen time or given a sub-universe on their own causing the show to lag. If more romance/love dramas were better edited, I'd probably fast-forward less or even not at all. So perhaps others can learn from this one. This show gets my thumbs up for not boring me or causing me to move my cursor to the end of an episode.

__________________________
Story:

I wasn't sure what to make of it from the summary alone so when I decided to just watch on, I found that the writer applied the Shakespearean concept here. The infamous cross-star lovers' theme. The thing is, whether it's the Romeo&Juliet phenomenon or other classical romance, if done properly, will never feel redundant to watch because the truth is people love a good tragic tale of forbidden first love. This show did that very well.

_________________________
Characters:

I love the two leads. They were given such in-depth personas. Na Moo who struggles with his place in the world and Nak Won who is isolated by the tragedy that altered her life. These two are by far my favorite lead characters in the K-drama world this year. The other characters, Na Moo's family are very likable too. His stepmom who tries to make up for her past mistake, his stepsister who always supports him, and his brother who finally realizes what life is. Nak Won's stepbrother, he doesn't standout much, and has a shady background but we get to understand him by the end.

___________________________
Actors:

I read that Bae Suzy and Nam Joo-Hyuk were offered the lead roles and both turned it down. Bae Suzy who knows, but Nam Joo-Hyuk might be due to the low rating of his last romance drama. I don't think he wanted another one those project right afterwards. Too bad for them because this was one great story. Though it's probably great because of these new rising actors. I can't picture any face other than Chang Ki-Yong playing Na Moo. He's branded the role as his. I love how he managed to express his character's dual tendencies from a quiet pain to glimpses of psychopath facial expression to show viewers that he could become a killer if provoked to. And the actress Jin Ki-Joo is a fresh face to watch. She did very well in portraying her character's strength and weakness from bearing her pain alone, crying alone, to have to step out and face the world the second she dries her tears. These two are definitely actors to look forward to in future dramas - given they pick good ones.

_______________________
Music:

I was paying attention too much to the story and didn't care much for music. The only thing I notice was the instrumental score. Now that was one beautiful background instrumental music. It really draws you into Na Moo and NakWon's world.

Rewatch: YES

Overall & Suggestion:

So there is a little inconsistency or lack of, with the father's character. The father isn't given a background other than being a psycho and there's not much indicating any childhood of sorts and he just seems to act on impulse for no reason. And add on an annoying reporter who's motives are unclear, whether she hates Na Moo and Nak Won or likes them know knows, but she dies midway so meh. But those inconsistencies aren't a major bug and not the main focal point of the drama so anyone watching can do away with it. Other than that, this is a drama worth all its five stars. I recommend this if you like a blend of thriller and forbidden love story. Watch it. You won't be disappointed, or I don't think you would be.

I loved how this drama started. The build up and everything. And Kim Moo-Yul, who I wasn't familiar with before, caught my attention right off. The awkward guy with military training who rampages against everything and everyone for his lovely bride. I really liked his character. But well I hated the second dragging half of the story. To me, this drama would have done great if it'd taken a different narrative with Moo-Yul's character just shooting through as the absolute badass like the movie "The Beast" with Jung Suk-Won. But it didn't. Rather Moo-Yul's character kept taking beatings after beatings. And by the second half, I was beginning to hate his beautiful bride for being an airhead. I get what she was doing but still, it was nerve grating.

Overall: Good start. not so good second half.

Rewatch: Once is good enough.

I got hooked on this drama after two episodes. I think Lee Jong-Suk chooses very good projects. I've liked most of them so far. W and While You Were Sleeping being his best (for me at least). The story worked well with me and how it was being presented. Bae Suzy's always good to watch. And then there's Jung Hae-In who nearly stole the spotlight. All three characters connected really well and I like the bromance between Lee Jong-Suk and Jung Hae-In's characters.

I'll just say it. I'm bias to this kind of show. I'll probably like anything similar to this. Especially when given this cast. I like the twist in all this and how they were each brought together for that same reason. These guys were all badasses. Kim Sang Joong rocked the lead role and his character was damn determined. Ma Dong Seok is always great in playing tough guy. As for the other two actors I wasn't really familiar with them. Jo Dong Hyuk, I haven't seen before this but he fit this role very well as the tall handsome anti-hero with a sad past. But Park Hae Jin, though I've seen his work before, I didn't pay attention much until this drama, he really stood out in here. and became a fan of his after this.

Overall: One a great show. If you're like me you won't get bored of it.

This show is a such a humane show. For one, it tells a different side of a prison, something we don't often seen in drama. And it's never been done quite well this way. All the characters came with in-depth background and stories to themselves. It really does champion the "slice-of-life" genre. It was serious, comedic, sad all together. Even though I wasn't familiar with the main actor, Park Hae Soo, I found him utterly enjoyable to watch.

And as for Jung Hae In, this guy really just compliments all uniform he puts on. He looked damn good in a cop uniform in "while you were sleeping" and in here he looked damn good in a military uniform as well. Even the prison uniform, haha.

Overall: Great human show. Something different from the typical soap-opera kdrama.

Rewatch: yes.
