Acting was great though, characters and the band itself were soo wholesome! It's nice to take a break from dramas with too many shitty characters. Anyways, as I always say, I base my ratings on overall enjoyment. The show was not the best of the year but it was a comfortable and cozy watch. 7.5.

This is the first c-drama that I have watched... and I'm not here for it.I'm a big fan of school dramas, but this one disappointed me A LOT. If you haven't finished it yet then stop reading because I'll get spoiler-y.
*I couldn't connect with a single character.
Main male (Jiang Chen): annoying, cold as fuck, terrible, i-don't-even-understand-how-girls-can-fall-for-him, pretty outside but shallow inside, etc.
Main female (Xiaoxi): silly, easy to manipulate, insecure about what she really wants. I actually feel pity for her sometimes, but then she does a stupid thing and I don't feel pity anymore.
Second male (Bosong(?)): had good intentions but was too annoying sometimes. She doesn't like you, get over it.
Xiaoxi's bff (Jingxiao(?)): the only character with a bit of personality.. I guess.
The other friend who's married to Xiaoxi's bff (Lu Yang): clingy, edgy, the cringe I felt.. oof,
* Male characters apparently can't accept a 'No' or a 'Leave me alone'. Jiang Chen treated Xiaoxi like trash for years only to show he ''actually cared about her'' in the last 20 minutes of the series. That's not love, that's fucking toxic.
* They all were jealous, manipulative, what the fuck- I don't understand how people actually wish to have a romance like this (as I was reading Viki comments)
* Acting, again, was bad but I guess it's justified, most of the cast were rookies at the time.
Anyways, I can't tell you not to watch it because we all have different taste. But I think, romance in general, is not for me. The OST was cute, though. The best part of the drama was reading the horny comments by Viki users, lmao.

The key to watching this show is not taking it 100% seriously, if you do you'll probably cringe a lot. The story has a lot of plot holes and things that make no sense, but it's still an enjoyable drama; the girls are cute and actually good to be rookies. The drama also helped me identify a lot of BNK48 girls who aren't big/popular within the group.
I also think the final message of The Underclass is very important and mature. I recommend watching it if you're looking for something light hearted and easy going. Don't expect a super smart plot heavy type of story or else you'll end up disappointed in the whole thing.
Also, Meen x Pang should have happened! I'm ok with Tee but this student x teacher dynamic (even though he stopped being his teacher midway upon the show) is not really healthy.. but that's just me.

I'm actually watching because I love Kashiwagi Yuki (she's my AKB48 oshimen!) She looks great with glasses, btw.
I have to say that I ship the male lead with the second female lead. I don't know, but they seem cuter together. I feel like the main character's romance (aside from being an insta-love) was unnecessary and would have been better if they had stayed as friends. But anyways, it's not that deep, it's just a fun and cute short story, so it's all okay.

I have a lot of things to say.
First of all, I did check some other reviews and I was not.. satisfied. So I'm here to give my somewhat unpopular thoughts. Please read until the end. I have two major points:1. Some of y'all 'bout to be real mad at me but it must be said... HAN JI-PYEONG WASN'T THAT AMAZING, GUYS.
Don't cancel me, listen out. I'm not saying he was bad or anything, to me, he was just average. I never wanted him to end up with Dal-mi because there was no chemistry between them. I'm sorry, but letters written by teenagers aren't any proof of love. Leaving that aside, I never liked his attitude. This is just a personal preference, though. He developed in that aspect a little by the final episodes, but just a little. I don't feel anything for characters that treat everyone super poorly and then complain that no one actually cares deeply for them. Yes, he was being a good boss, I know. Still, no one has an obligation to ''love'' him when he doesn't show any emotion.
PS: This trope in dramas of waiting for your first love for years blah blah isn't doing it anymore. Ji-pyeong should have tried banging someone else instead of simping over the girl that has been in love with another guy FOR LIKE THREE YEARS. Lmao. This brings me to my next point:
2. DAL-MI DESERVED BETTER. Her character was overshadowed by this terrible ''love triangle''. It's not her fault that she doesn't like Ji-pyeong. She shouldn't be guilt-tripped into dating someone she's not interested in.
Her as an individual was ignored by most watchers just because they were angry that Ji-pyeong was not getting the girl. Dal-mi is a great character (leaving romance aside), her perseverance and ambition yet humbleness was amazing, everything she did was to help her grandmother live a better life [NoonGil] and to prevent others of going through what her father went through [Tarzan]. Even though at the beginning of the show she said that all she wanted was to be better than her sister, we know she changed her mind and actually tried to amend her relationship with the family members that basically abandoned her when she was a child. That is character development, period, no arguments against this.
I just wish people paid more attention to her character and not the relationships she pursued.
So those were my two biggest thoughts. Other things that I can say include..:
a) Do-san was cute. I loved/hated his character half of the show; but I knew him and Dal-mi would be perfect together, I'm glad to see they even got married and are now living their lives next to each other.
IT'S JUST COUPLE GOALS, Mr. and Ms. empowered CEOs.
b) Chul-san and Sa-ha are mad cute as well! Also, I love the fact that even though Sa-ha speaks English a couple times throughout the show, they didn't revolve her character around that. I've seen Stephanie Lee (the actress portraying Sa-ha) in other dramas and they always put her as the Korean-American girl that says cool quotes in English 24/7, it's just so weird lol.
c) What happened to the revenge plotline of Yong-san, tho.. maybe I didn't pay attention to this arc being resolved.
Overall, and enjoyable show that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
8.5/10

Hmmm okay. This was a jooourney.First of all, I want to address that I rank shows purely based on my personal enjoyment of it. Even if a drama is objectively bad, if I had a good time watching it, it'll probably be a 9 or + .
Vagabond might be my favorite drama from the last couple of years. I genuinely connected with the characters and story. I couldn't stop watching, something that rarely happens to me with any type of show. By episode 11, I could feel my heart in my throat (is that an expression in English or is it only of Spanish? lol). I was literally running out of breath by some scenes and situations.
I loved the main characters (Hae-ri and Dal-geon). I really didn't care about Tae-ung but he was ok I guess. Actors who portrayed evil characters did it amazingly. I hated them so much, lol. Even side characters were great, my favorite one was Lily. The lack of romance was an extra point for me (I don't mind it, but I was super focused on the plot and I think adding a lot of romance would have ruined it)
Talking about the plot, there were so many plot twists it was hard to follow but I dig it. I like how you never knew who was actually good and who was actually bad in the story. The drama itself was really expensive, btw, and I love when dramas are based on multiple locations (in this case, Morocco).
Of course the drama was not perfect, I noticed a couple of small plotholes and things that didn't make sense. The ending was very open, the last scene being the beginning of the first episode... that was cool though. But so many things aren't finished. I'm assuming they wrote this ending with a second season in mind, but there's nothing confirmed yet? That kinda worries me. I need to know what happens between these two. Will they be able to take revenge on Edward? Will Hae-ri discover that Dal-geon is not dead? Will they end up together? Will we ever know? That's the question lol.
I'm giving this a 10 out of my enjoyment. The plot is not a 10 though, but still. If there isn't any future seasons then I'm sad to say I'll have to lower my score.

It's hard for me to rate this film because I liked it and hated it at the same time. What I liked:
-cinematography was on point, overall everything was aesthetically pleasing.
-acting
What I did not like:
-90% of characters. Specially Murata, who made my blood boil multiple times.
-ending..
This story is based on real events so I'm not surprised about how things went on. I get that this film might not be for everyone, particularly if you consider yourself to be sensitive. Film went slow (didn't have to last 2h 30m) but the way the film is directed made it interesting regardless.
I got kinda annoyed by the attitude of the characters following this cult, I refuse to believe society can be this submissive. Hoping that the director just exaggerated the situation, because I rolled my eyes so much throughout the movie: come on, you can't be this blind & dumb.
[SPOILER ALERT, SKIP TO NEXT PARAGRAPH] I was waiting for those two guys to end up receiving what they deserved but the film ended so suddenly! It left me hanging. They do specify that they ended up in jail/one had a death sentence, so that makes me feel a bit relieved.
Overall, 5/10, nice experience since I haven't watched a lot of gore-ish Japanese cinema, but probably wouldn't watch again.

I will watch anything Bae Doo Na comes up with. The Silent Sea was definitely worth it.
I'm telling you I binge-watched the last four episodes, something I NEVER do because I'm a lazy slow watcher.
Acting was on point and so was the budget! Like, I couldn't believe it. I wonder how much money was spent on this production. Truly impressive, as a fan of anything Sci-Fi-ish.
The only reason I'm giving this a 9.5 is because WTF with that ending. It could have been better. Netflix's obsessed with those open & meaningless endings... but anyways. Still a good watch.

Now I'm emo
I just want to fight the writers of this drama for making me cry that much. Y'all need to cut me some slack, please.I'm giving this show a 10 because I didn't find a reason not to - everything about this production is good. The concept, the storyline, the (flawed or not) characters, the pacing, the cinematography, even. I just wish Navillera had a full OST like most popular dramas do, but it's not a top priority for me at all, anyways. All the family progressed and developed that much in only 12 episodes, and by the end I was rooting for all of them.
A special shoutout to Park In Hwan for his acting - I've never watched his work but he portrayed his character (& his illness) perfectly here.
Also, it pleasantly surprised me that they did NOT give Chae-rok and Eun-ho a love story line. I'm happy that they remained friends. Friendship between men & women is something we need more often in K-dramas.
Definitely one of my favorites from 2021.
10/10.

I don't know if I actually liked this or not. I feel like the story/plot, pacing, acting was all good, however the drama failed to keep me interested. Specially in the second half.
There's nothing else to be said: I was just scrolling on my phone throughout the episodes and just missed a lot of details, the story took a direction I wasn't 100% on board with. The ending was cool though, I felt like it picked up.
It is a good story and I'm glad I watched the drama, but definitely wouldn't watch it again. I did enjoy the acting of the main characters, so I'm looking forward to watching them in their future projects.
Also, can we praise the daughter Eunha? She's such a good child actress! So cute I always had a smile on my face when she appeared.
6/10 - A OK drama.

(NO SPOILERS HERE) I'm not sure why I positively decided to watch this drama, as the slice of life-ish plot isn't my favorite genre, but I'm grateful I picked this up. It was a good and enjoyable show. Characters were mostly super likeable and they felt very adult but at the same time childish, in a positive way. The main male (Seon-gyeom) was my favorite and I often dislike main male characters. He was just too pure and awkward but relatable. Seon-gyeom's friend Woo-shik was really cute as well and their relationship was adorable.
I also felt connected to Mi-joo as we're both Translators (lmao, who am I fooling, I'm not a translator yet, but I'm about to be) so I loved watching the scenes of her workplace and also her co-worker/friend/roommate May who was super funny.
The second couple, Dan-ah and Yeong-hwa were great as well, I loved Sooyoung's acting (Dan-ah), it's my first drama of her.
I think that's it for the characters.
9/10 - would recommend if you want to watch something light-hearted & not tragic, something that you don't have to deeply think about. Love it.
(SPOILERS HERE) Now, what I liked the most is that there was no toxic love triangle. Not sure if this counts as spoiler though. I think the trope of the girl choosing between two men is just not for me anymore, I can't take it. Especially because you always know who she's gonna end with. It would be funnier if she kinda played around with both of them but no, she never shows any affection up until Episode 14 & it's only a kiss to the guy we knew she was gonna end up with.
So yeah, that's why I enjoyed watching two couples that don't intertwin (in a romantic way) and stay in their own lanes without being that complicated. Great writing.
I also appreciated that final scene when Dan-ah sort-of apologizes to Ye-jun about the whole lying about being gay situation. I think it's nice that she recognized it was ''wrong'' to just fake your sexual orientation to ''have it easier'' when in reality that's not the case, at least in Korea. The whole arc between Ye-jun and Yeong-hwa had a realistic end to it- it was never gonna happen, but I'm happy they remain as friends.
I have to say that I also thought that (at some point) Woo-shik was in love with Seon-gyeom, I don't know, I wonder if someone else thought about this haha.
I guess that's it. Thanks if you read the whole thing. You must be bored..

This story was so damn cute! I enjoyed it a lot! The acting was childish, but I love that type of acting so I'm fine with that.
The budget was very low, lol, but I can't blame them for that. The special effects were weird.. that living chicken scares the hell out of me. Also, shout out to whoever who decided to add an anime scene in the middle of an episode. Pretty nice. Music was very cute, the Chicken Song and Sweet Stranger are stuck in my head.
About the characters.. I just couldn't bear Choigo's mom. Damn. She's the pure stereotype of Asian parents.
Sodam's story was pretty unnecessary, it felt like she was just.. there.
I really enjoyed Boah's group of friends, even though they were wrong half of the show.
The main couple were cute as hell and they had such nice scenes <3. Overall, a not-so-deep but great show I would recommend.
Btw, support Park Sun Ho (male lead) on Produce X 101 :)

Crash Landing on You

Woah, there's so many things I need to say about this.
I'll start by saying that this is the first drama in which I actually cry. This means that the drama is really good; I never react this way with movies or TV shows.
I'm happy that we're getting a drama with older people as main characters. Seri and Jonghyuk had really good chemistry, they looked super gorgeous together. Seri is such a strong character, she's so confident of herself and doesn't stop until she gets what she deserves. Second leads were amazing as well, specially Seo Dan, which brings me to the next point: relationships between female characters.
Finally, we get a drama in which the main women don't hate each other over a man, lol. Seo Dan lives her life despite she knows her love is unrequited, and is not mad at Seri's for that. I have to praise the writers. I'm such a fan of her ending, she deserves the whole world.
We also have the group of North Korean ladies; at first you'd think that they were just the bullies of the neighborhood but it's beautiful to see how their relationship (with Seri, too) grows and becomes something beautiful, it made me very emotional. [Spoiler, don't read] I was so proud when they realized that Seri released products with their faces on them.
Speaking about the second male, Seungjun, I was not a fan of his character at the beginning but I think it's a quite unique character. You never know if he has good or bad intentions. That, in my opinion, is very human and realistic. [Spoiler, don't read] He did not deserve to die, but well, he did it so he could save his SO. He did a good thing.
And of course I can't ignore the boys from Jonghyuk's unit. They were the funniest characters and wholesome as hell. Chisoo's theories about South Korea were so amusing, and the rivalry he had with Seri (as in South vs North) really made me laugh, lol. I'm a big fan of the beautiful friendship the four had with Seri..
Seri's family made me SO mad at the beginning, which means that they are good actors. Sehyeong's and Sangah.. were just.. so infuriating. The rest of the family where a bit more decent. [Spoilers ahead] I'm happy they (SH and SA) got what they deserved. I'm happy that Seri's and her mom could become a family again, I'm just so glad. Her other brother and his wife, they were so cute together, lol. It's good that they didn't follow the others' steps and could get on well with Seri too.
Overall, I recommend this drama if you're looking for a funny and romantic drama that also will make you cry at some point. It's 10/10 for me.
[END SPOILERS] THEY HAD THE BEST END POSSIBLE. I'm happy they got to meet each other again in Switzerland, I couldn't imagine a better finale. They deserve everything and I'm genuinely happy for them. I wish we could see more of their story some day.. ):

btw this review will be basically me talking about the ending because i have A LOT to say!so don't read anything if you haven't watched ep 16 yet.
story and acting was really good, i liked most of the characters, evil characters were portrayed really well.. i also liked how human many of these were (like Sooah and Geunsoo), showing us that good characters can have flaws as well and learn from their past mistakes. i was very fond of Saeroyi's character, definitely one of the few main male characters i actually like lol.
however, i have to say that i didn't like Yiseo much :/ i found her to be really petty, which is okay if you think about that because she's a sociopath and of course she's not going to be flawless, but still her attitude most of the times didn't sit well with me :| and i'm happy that they ended up together, they look very cute, but i disliked how she treated everyone real badly EXCEPT him just because she was in love. i think i'd have given this drama a 10/10 if Saeroyi's didn't end up dating anyone, because the romance of the drama wasn't the main topic, you know. i think i kinda ship him with Sooah tho. like I know she did bad things but in the last two episodes, she really redeemed herself. but anyways, im happy that she respected and supported Sry's relationship with Yiseo. she deserved to go on her own path and open her own restaurant! im so proud of her character development.
the friendship of the Danbam staff was really cute, i like how theyre there for each other. we definitely need to see more dramas like these, without the stupid work hierarchies existent in korean society (and other societies as well ofc). also, i appreciate how this drama touched on taboo topics, like foreigners and lgbt. very different from what i've been watching these years!
definitely recommending this to my friends :)

Don't have much else to say, other than that I looove how we get a random zombie with little to no explanation at all, I think that's what makes the story even funnier. I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoy my plot-heavy dramas and I LOVE to know all the details [especially if we're talking about crime/fantasy/sci-fi genres], but sometimes it's best to watch a show that is just there for the purpose of entertainment and not to make you think a lot or leave you anxious.
Also, SunJi's family/friends were super funny to watch and so were MooYoung's neighbors. 12 episodes were fair enough, not too short but not too long.
If you think you're the type that would enjoy a story like this, then I recommend it.
8/10
