Why... oh why... didn't I watch this sooner
The female lead in meeting you is amazing. She's very different from your average leading lady. Besides, the amount she falls in the first episode alone is just amazing. Funnily enough it keeps happening since she keeps falling or being clumsy. I love her so much and she's such a mood. I've never met such a relatable female lead in a cdrama.Meeting You is just sooo cute🥺🥺 and it keeps getting cuter and cuter. I even urged my friends to watch it since it's just so darn adorable. And don't even get me started on the social anxiety rep 🥺🥺 It's sincerely the best social anxiety representation I've seen in such a long time and that says a lot since this drama is from China (nothing against China besides maybe some of the questionable decisions of their government, but its society is also pretty conservative. So I wasn't expecting much from the mental health representation but in all honesty I was blown away by how they handled it).
I literally almost cried twice already.
I do need to get something off my chest: WHY ARE OPENINGS OF CHINESE SHOWS ALWAYS SO DAMN LONG?😂😭
Ooooooooeeeeeh they have a new intro logo since the gang is now at university. Me likey likey likey, me likey likey likey.
OMG MY BABIES ARE FINALLY TOGETHER! IT TOOK AN ETERNITY FOR THEM ALREASY ACTING ALL LOVEY DOVEY BOYFRIEND-GIRLFRIEND ROLLED, BUT FUCK YASS IT'S OFFICIAL NOW.
I normally hate kids in dramas but damn Xia Rui's sassy little brother has captured my heart. One of the best drama kids I've encountered.
Also, the amount of times I almost cried while watching this drama is more than two handfuls. I was apparently too emo for this amazing shit.
Nan Xi and Xia Rui are just absolutely the cutest.
Feifei finally became Liu Bin's girl and I was soooo happy that he came back to because he was one of my favorite characters.
The two friends were cute as well but their drama became at one point too ridiculous. Their ending was nice though.
It would have been a 10/10 show if Nan Xi and Xia Rui didn't constantly tell each that they would stay together forever. I mean c'mon after the first few times we got NO NEED TO TELL AS A BAZILLION TIMES MORE OKAY. That's too repetitive. Also, at times Nan Xi showed a bit too much of a controlling side towards Xia Rui (not that she really listened to him anyways) but that's still something that impacted my level of enjoyment. It also got a bit repetitive towards the end.

The Dolphin in the Little Mermaid

The trials and tribulations of childhood friends
This was cute but there wasn't much of a plot. I also liked the flashbacks from when they were kids the most and I thought they did a fairly decent job of portaying their characters. You could also see from the sets that this was a web drama since most of the designs were very minimal. I watched this because I'm a sucker for web dramas and I like to give the very underrated or unknown ones a shot too, but if I have to be completely honest anything that has the word mermaid in it will make me watch it. This however doesn't have actual mermaids in it, but despite the lack of my merpeople it was still cute to watch. Also, I'm really excited in the main lead and how he will portray Jungkookie in youth (the adaptation of BTS' webtoon Save Me). Overall it was a cute, easy, and light watch that I needed in between some heavy dramas or if I didn't have the attention span to watch anything too complicated.Cet avis était-il utile?

Worst haircut of 2020
When I started watching Itaewon Class I didn't care for it. Not even one single bit. That's why me and my best friend with whom I was watching it gave up on it after only seeing three episodes. It's been almost a year since I stsrted this and only now was I finally in the mood to pick this up again. Surprisingly, I didn't dislike Itaewon Class as much when I started watching it. It's definitely not as bad as 2020 Emma thought it was. It's, however, not the masterpiece other people say it is. It's actually a pretty decent, entertaining, and thought provoking show but it is nowhere near as good as other kdramas I've seen (which is of course a matter of personal taste).I definitely think that Park Saeroyi was the heart of this show. He is what made me like Itaewon Class. I honestly saw so much of myself in him, but with a better haircut. He truly wins the award of most relatable fictional character of 2021 for me. He and I are both people of principles, which isn't something people always understand. Not only did I think Park Saeroyi was a breath of fresh air, he also made me feel less lonely. A lot of times people didn't understand why I stubbornly stuck to my principles while I could have chosen an easier route. I, therefore, felt seen by the portrayal of Park Saeroyi. Besides, my heart fucking ached for him too. I truly wanted to wrap him in one huge bear hug because man did he suffer.
I also lowkey shipped Hyunyi with Seung Kwon. I thought the actors had great chemistry together and I liked how the show ended with them going on a date. That somehow felt like a full circle moment. Besides, I may be the only person on the plan who thought this but I actually thought Hyunyi was even prettier with her blue hair.
It's pretty funny how this show went from 5 stars to 8 stars to 9 stars. If I'm being honest I cried whole damn rivers when Park Saeroyi told Hyunyi she could walk away even though she didn't do anything wrong and also that she didn't have to prove to anyone who she is. That moment alone is worth 9 gold stars, right there. I mean how can you not sob because of that? As a queer person I just love this message and I simply applaud the show creators for doing this because you have no idea how many transgender people still need to hear this. I also thank them for letting Hyunyi win the contest because we need more happy queer stories.
I'm not really sure how I feel about the budding relationship between Saeroyi and Yi Seo. In the beginning I wasn't feeling them at all but slowly I started to think they might be really cute together. This was however ruined by the jump in time. I felt like that the show was finally establishing and hinting at a future romance between the main leads to suddenly talk about 4 fucking years later where they still aren't together. This Jump in time really ruined any set up the kdrama had for these two leads as a romantic pairing. I'm really upset by this. Their romance could have been so great if it wasn't for the fucking fast forward in time.
Furthermore, to state it simply: I OVERALL FUCKING HATED THE FOUR YEAR TIME SKIP. WHY... DO... KDRAMAS... KEEP... DOING... THE... TIME... JUMPS??? SERIOUSLY WAEEEE? *Insert Yeonjun from TXT going like WAE WAE WAE AWEA AWAEEEE*
Oh wait... it now went from 9 stars back to fucking 8 stars again because I'm salty as hell and fucking hate fast forwards in time. I've realised that jump in times are my most hated, loathed, disliked tropes EVER. I believe I've only liked it twice out of the bazillion times I've seen it happen (one of them was CLOY which is just overall a masterpiece and the other was weightlifting fairy).
Also, Lee David my man you truly deserve different roles. Like both in Law School and Itaewon Class you were out for revenge and helped the main characters in their quests for revenge. I mean you nailed both roles but I would like to see you portraying a different kind of character.
And don't even get me started on every characters' growth. Each one of them grew so much as a person, which I absolutely loved, but Yi Seo's personal growth was definitely the cherry on top of the cake.
Puppy Jangga Co. son was so much better as a pushover like Jo Yi Seo said. He truly became the definition of a shitty, heartless person. He truly went from adorable uwu to omg you should burn in hell person in such a short amount of time. I really wanted to see his and his family's downfall. So when that actually happened I felt like a little kid receiving s lollypop because damn those people 100% deserved to be ruined. They are the core example of why I never want to go into business and fucking hate capitalism. I truly love how vicious Saeroyi's revenge was.
Okay... in the end geun soo wasn't as bad as his father and brother. I will also never ever get iver how Yi Seo was like on three we fight and then fucking left Geun Soo. That's gold star quality right there. The same goes for the just die line.
However, what surprised me the most is that I actually didn't hate Soo Ah. I thought she was a pretty fascinating character, even though she needed to grow a freaking spine/backbone. In the end, she did grow one and became a whistle-blower. I'm honestly impressed by her now.
Jo Yi Seo was so much more prettier with the short dip dyed hair than with her boring basic black long hair. However, nothing beats Park Saeroyi's haircut. That's still the worst haircut ever.
The park bo gum cameo though, that was CUUUUUUTEE. I love how they both had cameos in each others kdramas last year, which is just the CUTEST thing ever.
Lastly, Kim Toni is the most underrated, underappreciated character ever since his smile could light up a whole freaking room. I hope I will see him in another drama soon.
Truly at last, the Taehyungie OST song had me in tears.

WBL 2 can't compete with it's first season
Lol, I somehow went from absolutely loving We Best Love to not really liking it anymore. I think that the college setting of season one, which I absolutely loved, and the lack of it in season two does play a part in me liking this story a bit less. However, season two has just soooo many issues, as in so many. The side story of the cousin and L-like employee was already iffy for me when season one hinted at the cousin liking a high schooler when he worked as a high school doctor, but I was in no way prepared for the shit show that was about to happen. I'm all for mental illness and mental health representations if it's well done & in this season of WBL it was anything but well done. I'm seriously like why....? Dear writer why did you mess up so badly? I probably should have known that WBL would take the route to problematic since the writer also wrote the first three seasons of HIStory, which is like the definition of problematic. For instance, the forced kissing without consent between the main couple was not okay since YU's character said no multiple times, even tried to push him away a couple of times, but nope his love interest just keeps kissing etcetera and somehow YU's character just gives in after all that..... that's not okay nor healthy.
The leads still had amazing chemistry and YU was still the prettiest boy ever, but honestly YU's character deserved better. Like a lot better. I was also too soon in saying yay no homophobic parents since the dad actually turned out to be a homophobe, yay......
It's truly funny how YU's character had supposedly had two best friends since childhood but not once did they show up in the second season neither were they ever mentioned. I'm like what friends, lol.
Something else that's funny is how the doctor in the special episode was like should I quit my medical profession and open a bar and afasgdsg in season two he actually opened a bar. I'm like BITCH WHAT THE FUCK?
Also, I'm still confused about what the actual fuck was going on with the doctor and that L-like employee. The doctor acted like he gave no shits about fake L and that he has no heart but dude literally kept his chipped mug for years and only ever ate the ramen that "L" loved. But somehow he has no feelings because of some random medical condition.... and out of nowhere he was like sure let's date. Their overall relationship is/was just a big no for me.
I was truly living for that third couple and I was absolutely rooting for them. I think they had the most healthy relationship of the show and they were just the cutest. I shipped them from season one until now. If there will be a third season I will mainly watch it for them (& YU) and I sincerely hope that the cutest couple will have a bigger role then. They deserve that. The marriage proposal was the cutest thing ever and yes I looked up if same sex marrisgee were even legal in Taiwan, which they are so yay to Taiwan.
So yeah I am planning on watching season 3 just because I'm invested in certain characters but this wasn't that great. I'm kind of sad it went this downhill since I absolutely loved and adored its first season.

Old Emma was stupid for not liking this
DO YOU LIKE MESSI? Is still one of the most iconic lines ever. The short haired friend of Bok-Joo is the CUTEST, I'm always so gay for her.
Oef I still want to die because of the fashion taste except for Nam Joo Hyuk. The outfits of his character are cool.
To say it in Dutch because there's no English equivalent of it but Nam Joo Hyuk heeft echt zo'n blij ei smile hierin.
All of them running away from that bar fight was hilarious.
That moment where I realise I have the same haircut as Bok-Joo.
OMG Nam Joo Hyuk's best friend is that asshole from age of youth.
I truly do not like the ex.
Bok-Joo is so weird and awkward I'm truly getting secondhand embarrassment from her.
My mum is watching this show like O.o
OMG LOL THAT RED BOW PIN IN HER HAIR IS BOTH CUTE IN THE WAY OF FEMININE AND CUTE IN THE WAY OF FETUS.
Nam Joo Hyuk is so insulting but nice at the same time too & his character's little hop walk is cute.
It's funny how all of Lee Sung Kyung roles were so feminine and then you have Bok-Joo which is the complete opposite and she plays it so freaking well too.
OMG I FINALLY KNOW WHERE THAT WHAAAATT SOUND CAME FROM THAT'S IN SO MANY FUNNY VIDEOS ABOUT KDRAMAS IT IS FROM THIS DRAMA.
Omg the driving scenes in here are so fake.
Bok-Joo does the creepy in love stare so well & her faking knowledge about music and the cello is killing me.
Bok-Joo's cousin is one big mood.
Nam joo hyuk's character surprise at seeing bok-joo at his brother's clinic & being a cellist. He is having too much fun with teaching her that I'm dying of laughter. It is going to be so funny to see them fall in love. Besides, the editing music is just pure comedic gold too.
Old Emma was so wrong about this drama. This is definitely the lighthearted funny fluff I needed right now. Besides, this kdrama is really funny and fun to watch so I'm truly wondering why I hated it before. I honestly don't understand how I initially didn't vibe with this show and how I hated everything. And now I'm like this is funny as hell. *Me saying my thanks to the creators of kdrama meme videos, especially drama master, since without them I wouldn't have given this show a second chance. I'm bowing down to the memelords*
Him, Jun Hyung, running after Bok-Joo and saying I chose you as if she's some pokemon is too funny. I also really love how mean and savage he is atm.
THE DO YOU LIKE MESSI thing is still the funniest just as jun hyung's little prayer and this quote from bok joo: "I have one chance so I can't just waste it."
I'm loving jung-hyung so much since he's too funny.
Omg that friend of him is becoming a cheerleader??? For the first time I'm loving him. He is so cute and funny here and him acting like a female cheerleader was too funny.
Bok-Joo's friends thinking she likes jun hyung have me laughing on the floor. Girls you couldn't be more wrong about that at the moment.
I feel so bad for the best friend. Tae gwon is always put in awkward situations but still a happy rain of sunshine. I'M LAUGHING SO HARD HE, TAE GWON, WAS ACTUALLY AFRAID OF THEM/BOK-JOO'S FRIENDS :")
Omg
Bok-Joo's
Outfits
Are
Getting
Worse
And
Worse
Omg, I have finally seen that iconic scene where jun hyung uses Bok-Joo as a shield from a car's water splash. It is still 10/10 comedic gold
Her sneezing on him was such a mood.
Lol him saying I will return the virus even if I have to kiss you had me like ;)
I still don't like the ex #sorryloyde.
The dad's reaction after finding about the weight clinic is too much though.
Jun hyung is so cute when he's worried about Kim Bok-Joo.
Omg that coach hit her as in kind of gave her 3 lashes O.o She did such a 180 as a character.
Jun hyung being the best boy ever and cheering her up has me soft. Even catching her with a sausage has me weak in the knees. They are simply too cute together.
HAHAHAHAHA HE AGREES WITH RULES ARE MEANT TO BE BROKEN (which was like an inside joke between me and my university friends).
The uncle/cousin is still golden.
I just realized that Bok-Joo has/owns 2 dogs.
I truly still don't like the ex. She's kind of a major bitch. I however was quite happy that she didn't ruin her contest since I wouldn't wish that on anyone but she's still someone I don't like.
Jun hyung practicing his apology was the cutest funny thing.
Them snuggling together was omo so cute.
Omg the romantic tension between the two coaches is cute.
Omg the friends making up made me emo.Them crying and hugging and yelling with each other is truly the friendship goals.
OMGGGG THE KARAOKE SCENE! I'M LIVING FOR THAT!
Nooooooooo poor coach choi the other coach has a wife. Sad ): HAHA NOT SAD ANYMORE since uncle and le coach are cuter. I ship them.
The ex still bothers me.
The guy i like doesn't like me, the guy I don't like doesn't like me either. Bok-joo you are mood
Jun hyung is such a mood, covering bok joo with newspapers because she's cold, lol. Carrying her in a shopping cart. I'm dying this is too funny. He's so creative
Lol drunk bok joo screaming TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVERYTHING JUN HYUNG in front of her uncle and father giving them a weird idea. And then jun hyung being like I SWEAR NOTHING WILL EVER HAPPEN BETWEEN US. And the dad yelling at him WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY BOK JOO. This is too funny. Poor jun hyung. The uncle be like pls chose a side ya otherwise a Psychopath
Jun hyungie is falling for our Weightlifting fairy *cute face*
Jun hyung doing Bok-Joo's run was tooo accurate.
The new guy is so sweet for the ex. That dude makes me like her more.
Sad bc bok joo is sad.
The uncle is everything.
That little kid in the library is sooo judging Bok-Joo.
That unexpected jisoo cameo made me a bit uncomfortable. It is funny how they are rivals for her attention for one second.
Wooooaw someone from tempted who was really cute and innocent also has a role in this one & here she's kind of a Bitch.
Are you really allergic to noodles? Sometimes, lol. Jun hyung is everything
Is it piano instead of cello this time, whahaha.
Bok joo: I'll play wedding march at your wedding
Jun hyung: No thank you, you'll only ruin my wedding instead why don't you stand beside me
Bok joo: Why would I stand at your wife's spot
Jun hyung: FINE THEN DON'T . DON'T STAND BESIDES ME
Me: *dying of laughter*
The coach and uncle are a new otp. OMGG THEY'RE DATING NOW AND SHE KISSED HIM AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH I'M HAPPY
Nam Joo Hyuk is truly the best boy in this
OMG THE UNCLE IS FROM WHAT'S WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM WHERE HE IS THE BEST FRIEND OF THE MALE LEAD. WOAW.
ASFYUYFFSSSTYHGFDD HE KISSED HER
I ship tae gwon with the girl I'm gay for too. Also the whole ghost plot is funny.
Omg bok joo is his first love. He's so precious! Him planning to do everything on Bok-Joo's bucket list. Omg she is flustered by him and their kiss.
Why do I have that feeling that the ghost is the ex sleep walking or something like that. Lol, I knew it.
I just did like that thing girls do in kdramas when something is cute because of the next ep preview and that scared the shit out of lucky, my dog.
Bok-Joo and jung-hyung are soo cute and also HOW MANY JACKETS DOES THAT DUDE HAVE?
And the impossible happened since I don't dislike the ex anymore.
THERE BETTER BE A HAPPY ENDING FOR COACH CHOI AND UNCLE AND JUNG HYUNG HYUNG'S AND THAT UNIVERSITY DOCTOR.
Bok-Joo's dad is so generous for a cheap skate.
I KEEP GETTING CONFUSED ABOUT BABYS NAME SINCE NETFLIX TRANSLATES IT DIFFERENT THAN EVERY OTHER PLACE and somehow I literally managed to still fuck up. How did I manage to call him jung-hyung while it is jun-hyung according to Netflix
OMG THAT LOOK OF BOK-JOO'S DAD WHEN PASSING BY HER SCHOOL AND SEEING HER ACTING CUTE WITH HER BOYFRIEND WAS TOO FUNNY. THE DAD DOESN'T KNOW IT WAS BOK-JOO THOUGH.
THE EX BECAME REALLY COOL. Jun hyungie hiding in their closet, lol. And the ex's laugh when she noticed was adorable.
THE WAY THEIR FRIENDS FOUND OUT ABOUT THEM!
My heart will break if the uncle and coach choi don't end up together.
The three friends ganging up on Bok-Joo & jun-hyung had me in tears.
The budding friendship between the ex and Bok-Joo is the CUTEST.
I. Do. Not. Want. The. Coaches. To. End. Up. Together. Anymore. NO NO NO PLEASE TELL ME IF THE TWO COACHES END UP TOGETHER or not. Not is the only option or I'll yeet myself away.
Woaw the ex is officially cool. I don't know how it happened but I went from loathing to dislike to she's alright to SHE IS A BOMB!
NO! GET THE FUCK OUT! NO! HOW. DARE SHE? HOW DID THAT MOTHER DARE TO RETURN! YES I THINK SHE IS A SHAMELESS PERSON VISITING HIS UNI OUT OF NOWHERE. I WANNA SLAP HER! NO! NO NO NO! MY POOR BBY! CAN I BECOME A HOMICIDE KILLER? BECAUSE I'M READY TO MURDER THAT MUM! Some people truly shouldn't be parents. Jun hyungie deserves a better mum. He is tooo kind. Also I'm truly baffled at his coat collection.
Jun hyngie and uncle are cute.
I'm still sad about no coach choi & uncle. Cause I'm not happy about the 2 coaches being endgame.
THE SWAG AT THE END KILLED ME.
It is wild how it went from a 4 to a 9. They are truly one of the cutest kdrama couples ever.

A drama that will give you diabetes because of its sweetness & cuteness
How I basically descrive this drama would be how it was pure sugarcoated candy. It was all the fluff and lightheartedness and cuteness that I desperately needed in my life. You can say that I ate this drama yp like how I eat my sweet candy, which is stuffing jelly with as much as I can and enjoying every second of it. I do have to say that this drama had some Lolitia vibes in the beginning. However, this was only because of certain choices the costume designers and the directors made & not because of the romance itself. I'm happy how quickly they dropped those Lolita aspects and how they never came up again. Besides, there was never any useless drama based on their age differences, which I truly appreciated. The main couple was just so great at communicating with each other and overall super healthy as fuck. The ML is truly one of the HEALTHIEST, pure love interests I've ever seen. He's a man I truly can get behind with. Besides, I loved how our FL was basically the one who initiated physical contact like kissing and hugging 90% of the time. That was truly refreshing. It's basically the only student-teacher drama (besides my Strange Hero) that I'll allow because it wasn't even really a student-teacher love story for multiple reasons. Not only was he her lecturer/teacher for one course, but their relationship started after she wasn't enrolled at the university anymore (she didn't graduate because her thesis was rejected, so she had to wait a year before she would get her degree but she wasn't an active student at the university anymore since she didn't take any classes/courses). I was also invested in our secondary couples and I'm happy how all of them ended up together, because they were so stinking cute too. I have to admit that I was super gay for the FL's sister, what a beautiful woman that is. I also shipped the two friends but I definitely agreed with the male friend that the girl had to undergo some changes and I'm overall happy how the writers handled their romance. I was going to say that the previous boss of our FL and the classmate of our ML was the real MVP but he in fact doesn't deserve that much praise since he was just an actual fucking decent person for supporting the relationship between the FL & ML. I do think the main couple wouldn't have gotten together so quickly if it wasn't for his help, but him not being in the way of their relationship isn't something praiseworthy since it is just some human decency. This drama is so sweet and cute that it basically gave me diabetes and I'm honestly not mad about that.Cet avis était-il utile?
Not As Good Or Captivating As Train To Busan & Peninsula
I'm watching Hellbound and no idea how I feel about it yet. It's just so weirdI really really really can't stand that arrowhead livestreamer with all his glow in the dark face paint and a skull on his head. He's really fucking annoying.
Woaw I did not expect Yoo Ah In to die not even halfway through the series. I thought he was supposed to be the main character.
You can truly see hellbound is made by the person who made train to Busan & peninsula.
I truly hate that mother of the baby HOW CAN YOU HONESTLY THINK AN INFANT, A NEWBORN BABY IS AN EVIL SINNER? HOW CAN THAT COME ACROSS YOUR MIND? MY FIRST INSTINCT AND REACTION WOULD BE LIKE THIS IS UNFAIR, NO WAY A BABY CAN BE EVIL OR A SINNER. THIS ISN'T RIGHT. I really hate her.
Lawyer woman is a kickass lady though.
What a fucking moron that mother is. She's lowkey on my list of characters I hated most this year.
OMG WOW OMO! Annoying livestreamer received the decree as well. Damn.... that's kind of full circle. Oh wait he's world's biggest asshole.
Okay, I take it back. The mother really had a redemption arc and both she & her husband protected the baby.
Oh my god no..... not again some kind of zombies. Seriously what is that ending?
I have a love-hate relationship with Hellbound and I have no idea how to rate this.
I hated it but also admired it. Some aspects they did sooo fucking well while others had me like humph this ain't that great. I was also fascinated by some elements while others made me go like bitch not this shit again. The only character I was actually invested in was a baby AND I NORMALLY DON'T LIKE BABIES. I did appreciate a character that was a single mother of a 13 year old boy & a 6 year old girl. Also, the dad of the baby was nice & baby momma really had a redemption as well. BUT SERIOUSLY THIS CREATOR DIRECTOR DUDE HAS SUCH A FETISH FOR PARENTS SACRIFICING THEMSELVES FOR THEIR CHILDREN. It is in all the 3 works I've seen so far of him. AND SOMETIMES IT EVEN HAPPENS MULTIPLE TIMES IN ONE WORK.
I guess my undying love for Netflix made kdramas is not so undying anymore. I guess it will be a 6 since it is my least favourite project of that creator.

Love Alarm's Long Awaited Sequel
I'm sorry but I honestly don't understand why people love Sun Oh so much. He's such an entitled prick. Jojo doesn't want to become close with him again, she constantly says no or walks away but does Sun Oh listen? NOPE. He constantly yells stuff at her YOU STILL LOVE ME, YOU LOVE ME. That's honestly not attractive at all and kind of a huge red flag. I know how Jojo suddenly dumped you and broke your heart wasn't fair and a really shitty too but that doesn't give him any right to behave like this. Also, how dare he ask hye yeong how it comes that they aren't close anymore. I'm like bitch you started this by deliberately going after YOUR best friend's crush simply because you wanted to. And the way Sun Oh treats his current girlfriend is simply just horrible. Juk-Yo deserved so much more than she got. I did like him when he was in a relationship with Jojo & he treated her pretty right back then, but I'm honestly so happy that I was team hye yeong since season one.
Also, the stylist of jojo's character truly made her wear hideous things inb the first 2 episodes. The white on white outfits with a colourful jacket weren't the best choices. I truly want to throw away those damn awful white pants.
Song Kang is a great actor BUT OH MY FREAKING GOD I CANNOT STAND LITTLE WHINEYASS SUN OH. He's so freaking annoying, so fucking annoying. The worst person is still jojo's aunt undoubtedly.
CDG... *insert face palm* Did the writers really think we were that stupid? It obviously stands for Cheon Duk-Gu.
I truly wanted Sun Oh to die at one point because he bothered me that much. At one point he even stalked her when she kept walking away from him he still followed her, I'm like bit problematic much eh? And then the stalking didn't even end there.
I also don't understand why people say Jojo is indecisive when she literally always walked away from Sun Oh and never even thought about breaking up with Hye yeong. Honestly Hye yeong is such a precious baby and someone that I would actually love to date.
I gotta say I love Hye yeong and Jojo as a couple a lot more than Sun Oh × Jojo. Maybe I'm a little biased because of my utter dislike towards Song Kang's character or it's simply because Hye yeong is the best boyfriend ever and the better person. We'll probably never find an answer to that, we only know that I'm just 100% one soft bitch for Hye Hyeong.
I don't hate season 2 like some other people do but I do think it's not as good as the first season. I'm also baffled how they were able to make such an interesting concept (like the murders, the murders corresponding with jojo's comic, the anti-love alarm squad, that fake CEO, Duk-Gu faking his own death) into this quite boring 6 episode long final season. I blame it on the fact that the original writers of this show weren't involved with s2 & that 4 new people were hired instead. But it honestly wasn't that bad either.
I'm forever not getting the love that Sun Oh to this day receives; I truly wouldn't want a man like that as my significant other. HYE YEONG FOREVER. I love how my baby suddenly became the first lead instead of the second lead & how Sun oh went from first to second in this series.
Duk Gu was always so precious and cute but omg a new haircut and better clothes truly made him hot.
I kind of like jojo's niece too now. Yeah she's still spoiled but honestly she became kind of really charming.
I love how Jojo matured and became a better person. I liked how there were actually consequences of her hiding the truth constantly. She truly developed into a better person just as her niece did too. We love dem character development.
Okay, I got super emotional when adult and kid jojo met each other. Like damn that symbolism of how she didn't blame herself for her past trauma anymore & how she was able to give it a place. Beautiful.
Hye yeong exciting for her at the finishing line made me fucking emotional.
I don't know if I fully believe in the Yuk jo × sung oh pairing, but I'm really happy that my girl at least got some feelings reciprocated.
I'm happy with the ending & I thought the cinematography of this second season was fabulous but it ultimately didn't live up to what season 1 set up. I still did not think it was as bad as other people say it is. The transition between seasons were a bit chaotic though.

I can't look or think of butterflies in a normal way anymore thanks to butterfly guy
I'm watching Nevertheless and like I'm sooo gay for 2 characters (Bit-Na & Sol) but I'm also fucking hetero for song kang's character (even though he's RED FLAGS).Also, Sol RADIATES GAY AS HELL TOO (which is honestly the cutest thing ever)
Park Jae Eon has fuckinh mad skills too. Like the writers, director and song kang really knew how to do that character well BECAUSE MY HEART EVEN FLUTTERED AND MY HEART NEEEEVER FLUTTERS.
I'm just so gay for Bit-Na and Sol. Bit-Na's whole look and personality had me gay. Sol, however, is like a bit masculine but if her hair is not tied she's suddenly FEMININE and both looks have me gaaaaay.
Lol I love song kang. He is literally my most seen actor of 2021 (because I watched Sweet home, Love alarm 2, Navillera, and now Nevertheless). I gotta make sure before the year ends that lee dong wook is #1 & lee jong suk #2.
Red flags is also so nice at the moment, he saved girl when she had a period and no pads. But then he is like why can't we be close in a non platonic way without dating, which shattered the illusion big time..
Park Jae Eon is the definition of katy perry's hot and cold song.
I'M CRYING
I'M YELLING
I HAVE SECOND LEAD SYNDROME SOOOOO BAD
BECAUSE OF POTATO BOY. ALSO POTATO GUY DESERVED BETTER THAN HER! But how can anyone not chose him? I don't like that she doesn't chose him because I don't want potato guy's heart to be broken. He still deserves better than her though. His confession was adorable though. I just wanted him to have a happy ending. My precious baby, I feel so bad for him. I hate the writers for doing this to him.
Park Jae Eon is such an asshole. I really wished this was a show were she ended up with the nice guy or NOBODY AT ALL. I would have preferred both options than the actual solution. I really wished they stayed closer to the source.
It is really funny how I was living for red flags until I wasn't. I am apparently such a softie for soft boys. In the beginning I was like DAMN HE SMOOOOOOTH and then I just got annoyed about him and his shit. BUT HE DOES LOOK SO GOOD IN PINK OR PURPLE.
I'M SO EMO FOR POTATO GUY!!!!!
The gays are so cute though. Like we have one that knows she's in love with her best friend and the other one didn't realise she was in love with her best friend. I'm like UWU BABIES!
I also like the sudden budding friendship between park jae eon and hat guy. I also shipped the heck out of hat guy and Bit-Na.
The two undergraduates were soooo cute too.
It literally got a minus one for that stupid unrealistic ending. I'm not a fan of that ending, which is why it took me forever to actually finish it since I knew it was going to end like this. Kinda hate it though.

MBC made me once again super emotional again
I'm crying like a baby about tempted, which I wasn't expecting but damn it is making me emo. Nobody but me is more surprised about how much I love this and how emotional it is making me. I never expected to love this drama as much as I ended up loving it. It's truly the plot twist of the century. Also joy's character keeps receiving soo much hate and shit while I'm over here like.....?????
It is also funny how I initially loooved moon ga-young's character su-ji & how I thought se-ju needed all the protection in the world and my heart ached for. I didn't much care about joy's character aka eun tae-hui's boyfriend/love interest si-hyeon that much and now the roles are reversed. I'm now really disliking su-ji atm, I still like eun tae-hui (aka joy), se-ju is still a puppy and the best boy ever but he's kinda shitty to si-hyeon. But the most surprising thing ever happened, suddenly I'm on the si-hyeon protection squad, like every time I'm crying, I'm crying for him my poor baby. And like that's a lot.
I also initially thought that their friendship was amazing and I loved how they were the three musketeers, but omg the friendship between these three is truly becoming toxic. Si-hyeon initially liked su-ji but she didn't want to date him so they stayed friends, suddenly their parents were like we're getting married which they don't like so si-hyeon was like to su-ji hehe let's get married. But the bad Bitch she is (whom I initially loved) was like only if you prove your loyalty to me by breaking the heart of my ex boyfriend's first love will we get married. So dude was like okay then but shoooocker he started to really fall for that girl aka joy aka eun tae hui so he clearly stated to su-ji I'm dropping this bet & don't want to get married to you anymore. So now su-ji is mad he actually developed feelings for the girl & that he doesn't like her anymore. And of course she, su-ji, now really loves him while he doesn't bc of eun tae hui, bad Bitch is like truly hurting my bby si-hyeon and coming between the two and being overall a really mean hurtful shitty and manipulative person to get her. And like that other friend of the trio se-ju of course is in love with su-ji so he automatically sides with her but he's generally really nice & has shitty home life too. But he's like SI HYEON YOU BITCH YOU MAKE SU-JI CONSTANTLY WAVER & YOU LEAD HER ON. While I'm like:
.....
Dude
He doesn't
Initially he was hesitant to admit he liked eun tae-hui but lol when he did dude didn't even hide his feelings for le girl anymore & he clearly said to su-ji lol I do not want to marry you anymore and I quit this bet. Like there is no way he lead her on, just the girl REFUSED TO GIVE UP and went full on brat like HE NEEDS TO LIKE ME OR OTHERWISE I'LL RUIN HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE HE TRULY LOVES SIMPLY BECAUSE I CAN AND I'M HURT. And they dared to call each other best friends, I'm like even though u ruin people's life for fun you don't do that to your supposedly best friends. Si-hyeon also started to learn like damn what we did was fucked up and me don't wanna do that anymore, even though everyone besides my gf is hurting me, but he was also soo scared of what his friends were gonna say of his relationship so he initially was hesitant to tell them (he didn't hid it from others, just them with her consent though) and he is never really open or honest or showing his true feelings with his best friends so I'm like ......
This friendship started out really cute, pure and as three broken people from broken homes becoming each others family into the most toxic thing ever. And TRUE friends wouldn't hurt their friend on purpose this many times while my precious bby doesn't.
Funny thing is that I initially even shipped su-ji with si-hyeon while now I'm like GURL WTF ARE U DOING? GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER AND STOP BEING SUCH A MANIPULATIVE CRY BABY ENTITLED BRAT BITCH because it is truly not a good look on you
I still love se ju too but he needs to be nicer to my bby because now he's being unreasonable and fair. It is cute how much he is there for su-ji who ofc takes advantage of him too. God I really don't like her anymore.
Si-hyeon is definitely not a Saint either but he's truly learning how to be a better person and partner. His character development is just through the roof.
The last three episodes will make me decide if it's a 8 or 9 star show. I also see so many parallels to gossip girl. I always say it's the korean version of gossip girl but better.
BUT OMFG I TAKE EVERYTHING NICE BACK I'VE EVER SAID ABOUT SE-JU. HE IS EVEN WORSE THAN SU-JI. He's truly the worst. He told eun tae hui everything about the bet just because si-hyeon wasn't doing what he wanted which obviously had to do with su-ji and how si-hyeon should just date her and the it is his fault that their friendship is ruined according to asshole. But si-hyeon literally was planning on telling her at that moment but se ju intercepted eun tae hui. He literally made a beautiful ass diary with art and his true feelings while also confessing his sin.
I truly did NOT expect to like this drama this much or be a crying disaster over tempted. I in no way possible was expecting to be so emo over tempted. I haven't cried this much over a kdrama in almost forever. Okay that's me being dramatic since I was also emo af over the uncanny counter but truly since then I haven't cried this much over a kdrama.
In the end I've forgiven all of them even se-ju & su-ji and tempted became a 10/10 show. The ending was damn beautiful.

What the f... was going on man? I don't know...
Bruhhh...... what did I even watch? Even with the synopsis and YouTube comments I was hella confused about what the hell was going on. Apparently two characters were dating for like 2 minutes and then they broke up?? I was like ..... WHEN WAS THIS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN? The actors also had chemistry like a dead cow...... and I still have no clue what the story was supposed to convey. Besides, starting with the manwha scene was the show's biggest mistake. It took me a while to get who was who, which didn't help with the already VERY confusing show. Someone who wrote this script should not write another script tbh. It truly felt like I was watching a kdrama without subtitles and even then I would have understood a lot more than I did with this show WHICH EVEN HAD SUBTITLES IN BOTH ENGLISH AND MY NATIVE LANGUAGE??? Bruhhhhhh.........................Can we also talk about that ending, which literally was noooooo ending at all.... There's no clear indication of a second season so I absolutely loathe open endings like this. Even if a second season was confirmed I would not watch it xD
I would much rather read the webtoon/manhwa, which I actually want to read, than watch another episode of this.
I do gotta admit that the actor that played Hyunwoo was pretty af.

Lovestruck by this drama
I have to say that ji chang-wook's character comes off too strong and is a bit much at showing his affection towards her in like such a short time period they've known each other, but honestly he's really cute. Also, somehow the laugh of choi tae-joon's character in Suspicious Partner has become the laugh of jae won. That bromance moment at the bus stop was too cute.
Woaw every story is connected in ways I didn't expect. OMG THEY'RE PLAYING THAT GAME I USED TO PLAY AS A KID, THAT 5 CARD GAME. SHOOK. That was such an unexpected throwback.
Lol, jae won frequenting that one precinct to cry about the camera thief that stole both his heart and his cameras. I died laughing and the same thing with sun young fighting with her then boyfriend because they need to strip since she bought all of their clothing and since she's breaking up with them she needs it back. I honestly can't, this is too funny. Also, my heart really aches for jae won. My poor bby. My heart truly aches for him because he loved her so freaking much. I'm really crying for him since she continuously stepped on his heart. I'm really beginning to hate that girl and I honestly don't want him to end up with her because she's truly a Bitch. I wanted this to be a happy show, I was expecting this to be a happy show, but instead I'm sobbing like a baby because my heart aches so much for jae won. The girl is really toying with his feelings, giving mixed signals and all. I really hate her. I REALLY WANT TO SLAP HER.
Omg the two exes are really really hilarious.
Jae won's nephew is me and I will be really curious how he will react when he finds out that his friend broke his hyung's heart.
I love how the police station sided with jae won even though he was later against it & everyone in the precinct was like YOU ARE A THIEF AND DUDE WE'RE NOT LETTING HER GO AFTER YOU'VE VISITED US 6 TIMES DRUNK. This is too funny. And now I'm even thinking of dropping it because that BITCH... THAT MOTHERFUCKING BITCH... *insert all the swear words you can think of* THAT BITCH IS EVEN REPAYING HIS KIDNESS OF NOT WANTING TO PRESS CHARGES AGAINST HER BY LYING HE GAVE THE CAMERAS TO HER. OMO I CAN'T HANDLE THIS I'M SO UPSET FOR MY BABY.
Also, the whole reason why this girl ghosted, evaded him was just complete bullshit and nothing can justify what she did. As someone who has hated, despised, loathed herself for years (you name it, I've probably done it) and to be honest I think that's in no way an excuse. Initially I really felt bad for the girl when she said that she hated herself and I was giving her all the benefits of doubt (& I was secretly even rooting for her). But in the end her actions were actually what made me really hate her. I don't even dislike her, no I despise her. I truly don't think she is good person and Jae won honestly deserves 100% better. Obviously jae won isn't 100% guilty free since not only was he a bit too much in the beginning and did he take things to far. However, unlike le bitch those reasons came from not being able to move on, which would have been the healthiest thing but sometimes the heart can't move on. Was it healthy? Nah. Understandable? Definitely, 100% yes. He was also more destructive towards himself than he was bothering her. Besides, that girl herself blurred the lines many times, which made it hard to realise when jae won had any rights to contact her or not. I honestly think that his behaviour was nowhere near as bad as hers.
The is she a man are you a man part killed me. I will never get over this.
Jae won finally got some brains and left her.
Okay, I may have been a bit harsh on le girl. It's understandable that she wanted to escape after what she had been through but that still doesn't make it okay how she treated jae won. Also, lol that life goes on graffiti killed me. ARMIES ARE EVERYWHERE!
Okay, I am on the way of forgiving the girl but I have to say that I still loved it how jae won got angry at her and gave a piece of his mind. To be honest she really deserved that, not kind of deserved that, just 100% deserved that.
Whahahahahahaha lol I fucking love that crazy high school gym teacher. She's fucking crazy and hilarious and I'm 100% in love with her. Not only was she hilarious when she catched that runaway high schooler (another thing I'll never get over) but the drunk version of her is even the best since she thinks she's some kind of airbender when she's drunk. Geon is also a puppy & honestly I am beginning to feel quite suspicious of rin i. I feel like she's really taking advantage of cute cousin's affection. I kind of feel bad for him since I have a feeling he will propose and she'll utterly reject him. I don't know why but at times she gives me the wrong kibd of vibe.
It is also funny how I've seen almost every main lead in another k-drama.
I am not opposed to them getting back together but I love how sassy jae won is to her and how karma is coming back. It is too funny.
Why do I keep getting annoyed at Netflix for westernizing Korean names. Am I the only one who gets really annoyed at Netflix putting the first names first instead of the last name? The last name is supposed to come first in Korea c'mon Netflix why do you fuck up such tiny simple thing? If I wasn't already determined to learn Korean, I definitely would be now because that ANNOYS ME!
Those three friends are truly the best friends out there. I'm amazed at how both of them by especially rin i didn't get angry when she heard what her friend did to jae won. They are truly good friends to each other. However, I think that cousin will flip out though.
Also, I want the two exes back together since they're perfect for each other & I so knew that precious baby jae won put that locket in the suitcase. Besides, he has really matured since she finally gave him the talk he needed and this is why people should break up like decent human beings to avoid situations like these. At least tell them why you're breaking up and do it face to face just like that weird psychiatrist said. I also love how jae won took a step back since he finally got a reason and basically because he wants her to find herself. HE IS TOO PRECIOUS.
Old me was wrong and a bit too harsh on Lee Eun-O since in the end I quite liked her. I love how I just manage to do 180° turns of feelings in such short time periods. Even I'm baffled at how quickly and unexpectedly my feelings can change. I have quite forgiven Eun O now and really like her, even though her actions were really shitty. Like really shitty. Apparently me don't care anymore, lol. So yeah Lee Eun O rights (but jae won is still the best)!
I'm kind of happy that cousin broke up with rin i. I not only thought and felt that they were breaking apart but both of them have such different goals in life. I don't think they were that compatible anymore. Besides, Rin I's life style was too much. Girl just fucking buy another pair of bedsheets. In the beginning, I didn't vibe with her, halfway through I liked het, by the end I didn't vibe with her anymore. I might even think that cutesy cousin deserved better than her, which he honestly does. It was also not just him that was like uhmm... maybe you should look for a full-time job instead of those part-time jobs. I will also never get over how she glued that fork back togethet. Jesus christ woman just buy a new one & an extra bedsheet that's no freaking waste. At times she was too much.
Jae won's laugh is still that fake laugh from Suspicious Partner and I never thought I had to hear that laugh ever again but here we are. Also, by the end I was incredibly happy that Jae Won and Eun O ended up together because they were cute. I am, however, still mad that those two disaster exes didn't get back together, they really should have. The ending was also one of the most unecpected and random endings, which kind of fitted this show really well. I wouldn't be opposed to a second season of Lovestruck in the city, but I wouldn't be miserable either if there won't be another one.
Lastly, I also understand why I really liked this drama since tge surefire was raspberries for directing it's okay to not be okay & encounter (both shows I loved), and the screenwriter not only wrote romance is a bonus book (one of my all-time favourite kdramas) but also the golden hairpin (one of my most anticipated dramas). It's no surprise that I loved it then.

It was a night in hell to even watch this
Night in Paradise is so far the worst Korean movie I've seen and I do not understand the raving reviews at all. This movie somehow made gangsters boring as fuck. The only remotely positive thing was the set up for the main character's humanity, which they set up brilliantly.I didn't even finish watching this and stopped an hour and a half into it since nothing fucking happened. I almost fell asleep while watching this. This movie was truly not worth my time.
I don't know where the writer and director was going with this plot because it truly went nowhere.
A waste of my time & energy and I'm baffled that Netflix thought I would love it since they have it a 91% match. Well I hate to break this to you, but it ain't worked. I also hated the bleak colours (I basically hated everything).
Even the gore did nothing for me and I usually love gore!
The title of this film should have been night in hell since I watched this at night and it was a hell to get through. This truly wasn't good in my opinion.

Oh Man How Deserving This Hype Is
Some people are soooo bitter about Hometown Cha Cha Cha mann. And then there's me who has only seen 1 episode so far but knows it will be a 9 or a 10, lol. Apparently there's no interesting plot or compelling characters, meh romance, no villain, tooo many episodes so too long (which I absolutely don't agree with).*me talking to my friends about it since they've en it as well and are wondering how I avoided spoilers* I have avoided spoilers for it really well. I only know there's something about a baby/kid and a wedding. Why does this sound like his "scandal" that was fake (JUSTICE FOR THIS PRECIOUS PUPPY).
I am just gonna binge watch some cha cha cha to cure my youth of May depression.
Hometown cha cha cha is sooooo cute. Instant serotonin.
I'm now at episode 5 and this is just pure happiness.
Apparently dramas set in small towns are my shit because I'm like loving the shit out of this and it's like the 3rd or 4th show I've seen that takes in a small village that I'm loving. It's sooo healing.
I dunno if it's just me BUT OMG WHY DOES SHE KEEP WEARING SUCH HORRIBLE UGLY OUTFITS IN CHA CHA CHA!!! WHO ARE THOSE STYLISTS!?!? AND HOW CAN I FIRE THEM!! HOW CAN HER OUTFITS EVEN GET WORSE?
OMG NOOOOOOOOO!! You don't scream or run at your oppa like that. Ju-ri why u screaming at your kpop idol like that. Whaeeeee..... I feel so bad for idols or any artist who receives treatment like that. Looool if I would meet famous people like that randomly and loooove them I probably would say or do nothing at all. He was sooo kind though.
I still hate our female lead's outfits. Don't even get me started on the make up.
Lowkey funny how two of my friends who don't watch dramas as vigorously as me, have seen it before me.
The dimple couple is toooo freaking cute.
That moment that I'm even fluent enough in Korean to know when Netflix mistranslates some stuff.
Poor chief hong crying ): If his backstory will be even more sadder then I'll be even more sadder than sad.
I'm also sad. NOBODY IS ALLOWING ME TO BINGE WATCH HOMETOWN CHA CHA CHA LIKE I WANT TO ):
Nooooooooo why does baby say everyone he loves dies and that it is because of him? Chief hong is tooo precious. My poor baby.
I'm dyinggg :') Chief hong is right though. If you don't read a lot of poetry or just reading in general, poems are the way to bore people into Falling asleep.
I DOOOOOOOOOOOON'T LIKE HOW THEY MADE THE SECOND MALE LEAD SOOO GOOD AS WELL.
Why are the two best friends such soulmates. Their love for each other is just uwu. Best sismance ever.
I'm dying :') our main girl forgetting to unplug her hair curler reminds me of my sister when she still lived at home. I literally have gotten THOUSAND OR MORE texts from her asking me to check if she unplugged her hair straightener :') This is too relatable. IT IS EVEN FUNNIER THAT IT WAS UNPLUGGED, which was always the case with my sister as well.
SHE CONFESSED FIRST O.O
I'M SLOWER THAN I WOULD LIKE TO BE! I'm only at episode 11 and I almost cried but gotta continue and finish it tomorrow because lucky is like WOMAN I WANT TO GO TO BED!
I didn't love episode 11 as much as the others since it kind of annoyed me how our girl always hit chief hong when she thought someone almost noticed them being all lovey dovey.
Uwu uwu Emma is almost crying. Why are they so fucking cute? Why is my dimple couple so fucking precious as well. My heart is melting.
They did not have to do us sooo dirty with the last ep. That was such a rollercoaster. It was soooo emotional, like so emotional. I wasn't expecting to be so emo.
Also looooool 2021 kdramas is apparently all about dem gay female side characters. It's like the third or fourth mainstream drama of this year that had a gay woman as a side character(s) and stated it (I definitely suspected she was not straight). It honestly was one of the most diverse years of kdramas imo.
