What a bful bful drama.

I never thought i will love this drama so much wen I read the novel. It was so bfully adapted from the novel, rare instance where u can say the adaptation was better than the novel. CZY and lusi I love them so much more from this drama and they made this simple sweet love story so much bful. Also kudos to director also. Such nice execution. I will definitely rewatch this drama many times, it will always be my comfort drama, story, acting, the soothing osts everything was perfect. Also special mention to sang yan (victor ma). He was no lesser star than the leads, his ckt n acting single handedly brought the fun n light moments in the show. All the actors were so well selected n suited the ckts. Highly recommended.

Out and out luo yunxi drama

So i m a luo yunxi Indian fan since i saw his acting in love is sweet and ashes of love. He is my most fav cdrama actor. N i love his pairing with bai lu the most. So i was waiting for this drama since I saw they r coming back after love is sweet in this drama n the storyline was interesting too. After lbfad only this xanxia drama story was able to intrigue me. So i had decided to watch this drama wenever it airs. And it started off so soo good. But in between the story went off, i wanted to watch the intense love story of both but got disappointed with only one sided love story while li Susu/ye xiwu most of the times was only doing her mission. I didn't feel her love at all till the end, n so love story wise the plot ended up disappointing. It was a tragic love story of only tantai Jin, the lone warrior, the most tragic ckt i have ever seen in cdrama. And boy luo yunxi hands down u r so perfect, awesome, mind-blowing in every scene and ur handsome face just adds on to the beauty of every scene of yours. The other ckts were more or less good. I hated ybc n xio lin couple, had no interest in their story or other couple story too bt atleast pian ran n yqy had a better love story as it looked 2 sided not one sided like main couple story 😔 I wanted to enjoy yunlu chemistry here like i did in LIS bt i didn't get to becos of story. So i jst enjoyed their acting and loved it. Want another drama of both to compensate it now😭
All in all watch this drama for CGI and acting of yunlu. Idk if i will rewatch it again. So 9/10 rating for jst yunxi acting and his handsome face. Would have given a 10 if they utilised yunlu chemistry with better intense love story like in LIS bt anyway.

Starts promising but not living upto it

(long rant, pls bear with it ) Ok, to start the drama was very good n very promising when it started, and cute too but by the end I started getting too irritated because I had so many expectations with this kind of plot, let me write point wise disappointments first i had with the drama.
1. The plot was too inconsistent with the characters specially the male lead, he turned lover good boy too soon l, i wanted to see his bad side for longer time.
2. The drama name is Mr. Bad so u would expect to see more of mr. Bad in it, but most of the time i saw office boring drama and female leads journey which kills the purpose of the title. I signed for watching Mr. Bads journey not female leads office career n all.
3. The female lead sucked, i loved the male lead n his acting and wanted to see more of his scenes, his screen presence was interesting, but his screen space was so less. After episode 19 it was reduced to negligible n so i watched those boring episodes on fast forward becos who is interested in female lead n parallel leads boring office story, there r better stories out there of office stories.
4. I expected that they will show parallel story in modern times n ancient times of leads, like them meeting in hehaun palace with different circumstances and have some pretty intense scenes but again got disappointed.
Ending my rant becos it became too long now, u can watch it, it's cute and good only becos of male lead, i loved his acting and his scenes very much, he was the only reason i watched this drama till end, though saw him for first time in this drama but he won me over.

Worth the ratings here

So I have heard a lot about this drama from many people since always as best cdramas of all times n also seen it was top dramas in cdrama recommendations on Google but I was sceptical of watching it becos of its BL theme(i m not a homophobe but BL theme drama r jst not my cup of tea) But then i thought to finally give it a try n viola I was not disappointed. It was such a nice one having everything. I just felt so connected to all the main ckts n had a lovely experience watching it. Now i understand why so many people r crazy over this cdrama. Totally worth the hype. Must watch n can be rewatched too.

Could have been so much better

This drama had a nice plotline but the execution and story telling really was disappointing. It lacked depth n intrigue, I wasn't much excited to watch it but I somehow watched it n completed becos i just had nothing more exciting to watch rn. Love story wise it was total disappointment, I didn't feel anything for them as couple, no chemistry too, acting wise evryone was jst okayish, but ml lacked proper expression n so most of the times I felt confused as to whether he is angry, sad, jealous, worried or what as he had only 2 expressions most of the times. But he did well as baby dragon though. I enjoyed him in that part . Riley Wang shined in his role n fl did well too. Idk as the show ended I didn't feel much attached or sad that it ended like i feel for few shows I loved n rewatched , so I don't think I will rewatch this one.

Captivating and intriguing

I truly enjoyed this drama becos , I love this genre so much, the various mysterious cases, the case solving all reminded me of Agatha Christie's and the likewise detective stories I grew up reading n so i enjoyed this drama so much. All the actors did good job but i personally liked fang doubing ckt the most. Although I didn't watch last episode becos I didn't want to watch the sad ending n so by watching epi 39, i gave myself closure with the thought that it had happy ending and evryone lived happily like they wanted i.e LX roaming with FDB solving cases in martial world, n DFX helping them sometimes n always wanting to have a spar with LX😭, that's the ending I m going to live with in my mind, so I avoided watching epi 40.
Although this drama seems underrated n not hyped much maybe due to no romance n love story part in it I would highly recommend this drama for mystery and thrill lovers.

The best historical drama

I loved LLTG so much, it's so hard to find similar historical drama which made me rewatch it no matter the length of the episodes, I loved each n everything in this drama so much. No ckt was annoying or irritating as such, but I loved the king the most in this drama🤣 he had such nice comic timing n was like a breathe of fresh air amongst the historical dramas king roles. I have literally watched so many historical dramas becos of LLTG to find any such similar one where I can watch n enjoy everything but didn't. This would always remain my no1 historical cdrama n nothing surpasses this. The acting, cinematography, chemistry between leads evrything is top notch . Must watch cdrama.

Annoying leads and their boring story

It could be the first drama where i hated the main leads n forwarded their scenes😭 I mean I wanted to like them but I couldn't at all to the extent I was happy that the fl is dying😭🤣 becos she was the most annoying ckt. She was wolfie obsessed not in love with ML as whole but only with the Wolfie with whom she played with in her childhood n wanted that Wolfie who was jst like her innocent pet but didn't like the grown up man much who has suffered so much n became wat he became due to circumstances. She needed to understand that people grow n change due to their good/bad circumstances, u can't expect them to remain same as they were in their childhood. I was so irritated with the fl doing stupid things, putting herself n evryone in danger n getting saved by either ML or SML n then getting hailed as someone so smart and noble n courageous 🥴.
I loved ji chong and yaoji ckts the most. Yaoji was such a badass n had such aura n charm n screen presence n ckt that i wanted her to endup with the ML n was rooting for it. But sadly she wasn't the lucky one, but I loved her anyway. The fl was only tolerable with ji chong for me. Ji chong was more suitable to the fl type ckt becos he really made her strong n reasoned with her n made her understand things in better way. ML as individual was okayish as ckt. The only enjoyable parts for me was of ji chong and from 2nd half when fl goes to Jin country. I was bored to death with first half n wanted to drop it bt continued anyway for ji chongs ckt and story😭.
The ost n music was okayish too. Not much addicting. I didn't feel any chemistry in leads even though they had so many kiss scenes n skinship scenes. Ji chong n fl had some chemistry but that also was not much root worthy too.
All in all torturous experience watching this show for xiao zhan like many of his fans watched for him😭 was happy wen it ended, won't rewatch ever again.

Nice female leads

I loved this drama unexpectedly. I loved both the fls here. Both were strong n had such a nice ckt arc where they grew as ckts individually due to the hardships they faced. I loved dilraba n wu lies chemistry too n loved their pair but sadly it had less of romance story of them n so I ended up feeling robbed off as the drama isnt abt romance much. But still it was enjoyable. Unpopular opinion but I didn't like hao du as ckt or with Zhao lusi as her love interest. He wasn't given a proper arc or reason to fall in love with yong in. He was jst obsessed with following his father's order to kill yongan, then suddenly realised he loves yongin after going in search of her🥴, maybe the need to find her safe made his protective side to feel he is in love with her or something.. Anyway, we move. I loved Shers ckt too, wanted to see more bromance scenes between sher n Sun. All in all a long n slow but interesting drama, I may not rewatch but enjoyed watching it nonetheless. Oh, Leo wu looked absolutely breathtaking with Ashile tribe getup n added the charm to the show. 🥰

Best xianxia drama

LBFAD is what you call a masterpiece xianxia drama, they rarely make such dramas which has all ur expectations ticked n delivered. It's so well made n acted out so well too. I literally had a hangover of this drama after i finished it, n kept watching few scenes n episodes on repeat after I finished watching as I wasnt able to move on to another one easily. The ost is so addictive, I find it hard to point any shortcomings in this drama, it's the standard for me in xianxia dramas, how I wish we get similar made drama or part 2 of this drama only. I Highly recommend it, U won't be disappointed.
