This got a little iffy towards the end but I do love the relationship dynamic! 

I love how he was also a scarred person but he did not take it on her, and always tried to bring the best out of her. Also super caring and doting. The way he was patient with her.

One of the few well-expected healthy relationships in Chinese drama history! obviously an exaggeration, but the high ratings speak for themselves. He loved her and set up a honey trap and she gladly fell into it.
