Both MLs are deaf and FL learn how communicate with them via sign language. Hoshi Furu Yoru ni is lighter and focused on side characters more than Silent, but both of them are feel good romance drama with no toxicity from the leads.

Zhou Shen Shen loses her voice after a bus accident and gets taken to the hospital by her friend, Zuo Jun, who blames himself for making her mute. There she meets Qi Wei Yi, a boy whose leg got broken by jealous peers. He finds a letter she had put in a bomb shelter wall. The plot for these dramas are very different, but if you enjoy the change of traditional roles like in Hoshi Furu Yoru ni where the ML does the cooking and cleaning, Watashi no Oyome-kun is highly recommended wherein the main plot revolved around the expectations in gender. Anyway, both are good slice of life dramas with good comedy.
Singer Hyeon Seok develops problems with his hearing (Menieres syndrome) and has to stop his recordings. He notices a picture of Hokkaido in a magazine and decides to travel there. He eventually arrives in a a small village in Hokkaido for rest. While there, he reminisces about the old days. The owner of the inn offers him a Japanese meal. There he meets a bright cheerful girl named Megumi.
I wouldn't say that the couple in these two dramas have similar relationship but these dramas both:

- one of the main characters is very optimistic
- good friendship (Momoka with Miyuki & Issei with Haru)
- have a couple of goodhearted people that sometimes you question how is everyone just so good-natured that there are rarely indifferent people, tbh some may find it off putting but these people are good role models that I want to emulate them.
