I Shouldve Known Better

All the bits in this go on for too long. In fact, the dialogue in general drags. I watched on 1.75x and it still felt like there was always too much time spent before letting a bit/joke/scene end, everything felt protracted and (considering how cringey this was obviously going to be with the premise) that really adds up to an unpleasant watching experience. If you've got a moderate to low tolerance for cringe, skip this one. It took me a minute to notice, but somewhere in episode two, my brain apparently just shut the fuck down to protect itself from critical levels of cringe. I was in part 2/4 and then I noticed I had taken in no information and was just staring blankly at the end of part 3/4. Like my eyes were watering, there is so much POTENT cringe every damn second. It's giving me heartburn. Indigestion. I didn't even know I was this weak to cringe but this is an unnecessarily strong brew jfc

I feel like I've maybe shaved a year off the longevity of my heart and I also learned that you can tense your heart today. Or at least it felt like I did. I've never had a show make me so uncomfortable my face literally ached from how furrowed my brows were.

I cannot stress enough how much this drags, so I literally counted how many seconds it took for Toh to overreact to something. Nuea says something and Toh reacts for 20 SECONDS STRAIGHT. Before. Responding. This happens more than once in a conversation. Hell, more than thrice in one interaction between the two, it is excruciating.

I can jive with slapstick comedy and like.... anime antics¿ but it feels like they weren't willing to let anything just end until they'd wrung all the life from it. The sheer amount of sound effects (horse neighing, "wow", bells, *!!!*) it's never ending and I think I'm in flight or fight mode rn??? Idk, I'm almost immune to the cringe at this point because my fear has evolved into anger, if only for self-protection. The constant heavy breathing when Nueas around oooooooh my fucking l o r d

I left to get cereal and getting back over to my phone felt like trying to put a cat in a bath, my body just didn't wanna get anywhere near it. Never once in my life have I rooted for the straight couple over the BL/GL, but I was rooting for Prao because Toh literally made me feel like I found a centipede crawling up my leg typa uncomfortable and creeped out. That's what his character is supposed to be, but at some point I had to wonder if there was any intention to make the character likable ever. And the music??? Why are we playing sad music when Toh doesn't get to be creepy???? Am I supposed to sympathise¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿



I blinked and two episodes passed but I don't remember them. I feel that I've aged in spirit. I'm going to drop this for my health, safety, and sanity.

Edit: I previously rated this a one but through the utter insanity of only finding absolutely awful series to watch lately, I decided to return to the trauma that is this one. I added a full star for the scene where Nuea appears naked for no reason because I spent about fifteen minutes straight laughing about it until I cried and my whole torso hurt.

Edit 2: its grown on me. Two more stars. Im understanding the cult favorite aspect because if you acclimate and survive the eye-watering cringe for long enough, it really is funny

If you want to watch this show get ready for second hand embarassment at the max. Toh literally acts like some creep coz of things he does. Like who the fuck even collect things touched by their crush. But sure toh does it and man that is so embarassing. You need alot of patience to handle that I was literally screaming at toh.. like dude plz not this ...but still he does all those stuffs. But still though it was embarassing the show still looks interesting like first friends of toh i really need friends like them in my life. Apart from it toh is really cute and toh and nuea looks damnn awesome together. The other pair also look good together. Jao is so cute literally how can someone be that cute😭.
I think people should definitely watch this show coz you just need to handle those embarassing moments rest the show itself will keep you going.
Also there are moments when you are going to laugh like crazy coz I was literally laughing like some crazy person. The scenes where do hilarious.
So watch if you can handle those High level of embarassing moments ❤️

This series is a melding of fantasy and weirdness. The weirdness creeps me out, but the burning sensuality of Nuah's overtures keep me coming back for the next episode. There are some scenes which have this very special quality, like one where Toh fantasizes about Nuah lying next to him and loses himself in the pleasure of this dream; I felt I lost myself in the same dream with him. Overall very unbalanced and silly but still I am going to finish it. The debonair beauty of Nuah and the shirtless scenes flaunting his slightly emaciated but chiseled physique will keep me hooked till the end.

It's just so cute and funn!!!?

I just love it!!! It's so heartwarming, cute, funny and um, also gives you a second hand embarrassment like never before. But that's how it is. It's purposefully made that way.
The friendship they all have is top tier. This series is perfect for you to watch after a tiring day, yk to get you all light headed and giggly.
At the start, most of us just went along cuz of the cringiness, second hand embarssment and the creepiness of toh acting, no, as a stalker. But trust me, it gets better real soon. You start loving it. That's how it was for most of us,
About the couples:
Toh and nuea : You'd thing Toh's the weird one here, but nah, nuan'sin it too which makes them perfect for each other 😂
Sky and Jao: The normal one😂 They're really cute, like REALLYYY CUTEEEE. Agkashkjdh. Everything abt these two from the story to their faces are really cute😭
But just cuz they're the "normal couple", my love for the main won't lessen lmaoo. I love them both and the screen time each got was pretty good to
Fon and Kungkwan: They both have just a few scenes together, but all of them are really sweet!!! I'm hoping for more of their scenes in the future episodes
The downsides
I still have to work on finding them. Will update when I do find them ;)

Er... What??

Huh? I just never managed to really tune into this one... Watching this, I kept zoning out, pretty much unable to concentrate on it for ONE minute... I don't know, I mean I just returned from watching 'We Best Love', else I would definitely asked myself, if all BL are so artificial? It's like they were all there for the sake of it... The school uniforms vaguely reminded me of 'Hotel Stars', another "show" I failed to conceive (I dropped it after 4 episodes)... Else, I don't know. Somebody ordered this to be BL so there are boy on boy couples forming out of nothing.

Saint Suppapong briefly appears in this. And HE is the best actor far and wide. Now, THAT is scary. First thing that can be said about this "Secret Crush", that it was everything except secret. One boy has huge obsession with one other boy and his whole group of friends knows, not to mention he acts like some creepy fan, so much it could be understandable only if the other guy was a movie star. He is just a regular guy, though: he is very white skinned, which it's "sensational" for Thailand but that's it. The main "story" here seems to be having the two boys in as many cringey scenes as possible. Just think of every single thing in the world that could make you embarassed and you'll find it here. As I tend to skip such moments, this show I was skipping so much I got further lost in the "story"... After five full episodes, I still had no idea whatever the deal was. And nobody on this show piqued even a slightest interest in me, honestly.

The Cringiest Drama ever

Hi this is my first review ever and I wish i could have done it with a good drama, but I just really wanna warn people before they watch this cringe

The Drama Secret Crush on you is in my opinion the worst drama to ever watch. It started all with Toh being just overly cringy and embarrassing around Nuea. I thought ok it's cringe but let's give it a try and I really tried hard to find anything good in this drama. With time it got even cringier and I dropped it. I wanna say that this all just doesn't make sense. In real life someone like Nuea would never fall for someone like Toh and I don't mean it in any bad way it just doesn't make sense. I don't know the actors from other dramas and I don't think it is their fault. It's just that Toh's character is poorly written and just doesn't make sense. In total this drama was very cringe and gave me the creeps. Toh was just too obsessed with Nuea and I wish they didn't end up together.This drama could have been so good but the way it turned out I really can't recommend it to anyone. Especially if you hate cringe , Don't Watch It.

Hmmmmm ok

So i did actually drop this as it was kinda cringy ,well toh is kinda cringy tbh i gave a review off someone else's review but felt i just had to actually put one up myself as i decided to watch futher after dropping it at ep 8 i just fast forward toh's bits coz i just cant do it hes just 😬 teeth gnashing cringy and a weirdo who collects supid random crap that nuea had touched or whatever just creepy they could of done better than have the handsome dude fall for him lol total disrespect, sadly the series aint got no better if anything its worse😮‍💨 i skipped so much as i felt to punch the tv lol. The only good prts which was pretty much still lacking was nuea and sky as i dont actually think much of jao either cant put my finger on it but hes another irritating character very babyish as are the friends who seem to just spend their time in their friends business and shrieking over stupidness could not stand them stupid beg man girls who are after nuea and sky,i felt embarrassed for them lol,all in all felt pretty disappointed in what i watched so far in my opinion it was nothing new just a repetitive bl nothing juicy or mind popping that would be remembered just basic tbh ,wouldnt watch again as it was pretty boring.😔dunno if ill watch last few eps as everything that could happen seems to have.My bad i just have to comment on the fact that toh looks like pinocchio in that ridiculously ugly outfit in ep 11 when meeting nuea's family 🤣😂🤣😂 i mean come on are u for real aint this dude like 18-19 wth 🤭

Juvenile and Cringey

I honestly wanted to support this for Saint’s debut as producer with no expectations since I don’t know the book. This is a series where much of the public behavior of the main character, Toh, mirrors what he feels on the inside. AWKWARD! And I don’t find his obsessive behavior enjoyable. I get a feeling of childishness rather than humor. The friend group he has is very bonded but their scenes together are to the point of being just too much for me. I actually give the acting a higher mark because I cannot imagine the energy needed to keep up with the over the top physical ‘comedy’ and cheesiness of this series. There is a gl couple here which is great. One half of this couple is played by Becky who was Thanya in TharnType 2. I also am pretty interested in the development of the side couple Sky and Jao. However, I’m three episodes in and I really don’t know if I will be able to stand this to the end. Right now, I’m here for Fon (Becky), Sky and Jao. Even Saint’s scenes can’t save this for me.

Underrated series due to its appearance, but a good watch.

I've been waiting to watch SCOY since they anounced it because P'Thanamin is one of my favourite directors and P'Saint was co-producer so I trusted. I found out that in just 3 episodes, it's a really good watch if you open your mind with some scenes that are extremely comedy and/or cliché (that's just P'Thanamin style).

In terms of story, I guess the "crush" thing has been already used many times, but SCOY offers a new vision as the crush is actually Toh and not P'Nuea as we may all think at first; Toh's just the crazy stalker who keeps collecting stuff and gay panicking. Many times I myself feel a bit cringy with Toh's reaction or typical BL clichés, but SCOY has the ability of having extremely good drama scenes that make your heart clench tightly because it did hurt. Especially in ep 1 when Toh draydreamt about him and P'Nuea kissing, it was actually really heartbreaking. These scenes are what gives it a point of quality in the story.

When we talk about acting, I'm pretty surprised because of Seng and Billy mainly as long as they're really good, Toh's personality is original, finally adding a gay-ish character as main. Yet everyone is skilled at not making scenes awkward when comedy is at its finest. I also applaud how well worked the friendship is built in the groups. When they remember the rules, it hurts as hell. The support is clear indeed. I thought I'd cringe more in some scenes, especially the comical ones, but somehow I don't as they quite know when to change or maintain a certain level of atmosphere.

Probably the music is the most disliked thing for me in this series, as they let it lead the feelings CONSTANTLY in each part. Typical BL bgm to accompany comedy and drama scenes and telling you how to feel instead of the script or acting. They should have trusted more the actors and actresses' power to convey feelings without the need of so much useless bgm.

Anyway, in general terms, so far this is a good BL to watch, enjoy and wait for as a lot is still left in the air. Knowing how P'Thanamin is, I know things will get seriously dramatic even though the series has been quite funny so far. I recommend it.
