Happiness is still a new series, but still it gives the same vibe as Sweet Home.
In both of them there is a disease that infects people.
In both when you get the disease you become a "monster"
Recommandé par Mjohhh
Both are apocalypse shows. Survival is key. Leads struggle in a world with no contact, minimum resources.

Similarities:
#Alive is a movie centered around a zombie outbreak around apartment building and having to survive within the apartment building. Happiness is also about zombie outbreak and will also be centered around an apartment complex.

Whilst "Happiness" is primarily an apocalypse-themed drama it has a lot of similarities to "Strangers from Hell", especially in the latter half of the show where we start to see the true colours of the other residents in the building the two leads are trapped in. Both dramas have dark, mystery elements and engaging action scenes and you're never quite sure who to trust...

Both are set in an apocalyptic world and have great characters with emotional energy between them. A lot of interesting alliances and relationships formed in the face of terror.

- about virus that causing people changing their behaviour like a zombie/monster too
- involve military in dealing with bizarre circumstances
- kickass female lead
- survival drama
Recommandé par RhopalocerA
Both are set in a fantasy world where the zombie apocalypse is eminent. Both dramas starts by showing how the outbreak supposedly started and how the people around them adapt to the situation. The origin of the pathogen is different but it still has the same effect. Not your typical zombie shows.

The Sadness and Happiness are both centered around a zombie outbreak and having to survive. Both are action/thriller.
In both, the female lead is immune to the infectious zombie disease and both females make it out alive.
The Sadness is a Taiwanese movie while Happiness is a South Korean drama.

Note: isn't it funny how one is called sad and the other is called happy lol :) btw Happiness does have a good ending while the ending in The Sadness is left open ended.

TRIGGER WARNING: trigger warning for rape in The Sadness as the zombies there can't resist the urge to rape and murder (brutal and lots of gore). Happiness is a little better in the sense that it has romance even tho its slow burn.

Both are horror movie. The virus or disease spread, turned human into monsters or zombies. Is there any antidotes? How they escape? How they survived?
Recommandé par Chia6
While different in tone, both have a group of people dealing with zombies who are manageable and not an all out apocalypse like most stories.

Both are about zombis dramas. In both a facility that wanted to create something different but accidentally ended up creating zombis instead.
Both have a male-female duo trying to investigate the situation and find solution out of it.
