Both are pretty calming shows with characters you might have seen but with differences
Main leads are personality-wise very different than typical leads .
Recommandé par Taemok23
quiet, calm romance between the two leads. It should definitely sum up the similarities between the two, not too much drama(the over the top or cringey kind)

Two couples with standalone stories of each
Very light Rom-com and pretty fast paced compared to Run-on
No excessive dramatics, no evil being (a rare for Lakorns i must say)
Well written characters not unique but act logically and not over the top
Character development

Ki Sun Gyeom had just quit sprinting when he encountered Oh Mi Joo, who felt that destiny most certainly brought them together. Both dramas give similar vibes, heartwarming and comforting.
Meet yourself is more comforting and a healing drama where Run on is mix of both, well balanced mixture of healing and comfort and comedy.
In both dramas, the main leads have a great chemistry and understanding. There is no great misunderstanding and has mature female leads.
In Meet yourself Hongdou suffers from burnout from work and realises the importance of life. In run on, the ML goes through a career dilemma as well.
If you liked Meet yourself, I am sure you will like run on as well. 100% recommended.

The overall set up is somewhat similar; both have a romance that arises while the female lead works for the male lead. The cinematography and the writing is also somewhat reminiscent of each other, especially the lines the female lead has.

Athletic and ML and FL growth and how they just live with the flow working and being a part of eachothers lives. feel good drama

Misaeng and Run On both about life. Im Si Wan is also the lead role. At Misaeng he is also an athlete who failed to become a professional go player and has to change his career. There's a lot of life lessons that you can jot down in that drama but you may found it kind of boring because there's not much music just a plain conversation as if you're observing an office life and how will Im Si Wan character will keep moving forward and keep moving up in his career. In Run On he failed to continue his first sports because of an injury then changed into a runner then retired as an athlete because of unpleasant incident. He'll learn to change career and keep moving on in his life.
Both drama teach a lesson about life, how to be a mature person.

Both shows have strong female leads ( Run on definitely has the more realistic strong female)
In both shows, the leads have really good chemistry.
Both shows have dealt with the drama aspect pretty well where it's cliched enough that it's enjoyable.
Find me in your memory is more on the melodrama side.

Both drama have:

1. Male Leads are green flag! Both are nice, good listener, and very supportive of Female Lead

2. Many relatable, mature, heartwarming and realistic conversations between the leads.

3. Female Leads are independent and straightforward however they sometimes feel insecure and inferior due to their background.
