The Judgement (2018)

Both are take place in a school setting (one high school, the other college) and deal with heavier, more mature topics. The two dramas also share similar themes that are common to young adults and teenagers, especially in this day and age.

Both are thai dramas that work as social commentary and critique and in which the characters try to enlist change in society. They tackle serious issues.
Mond acts in both as well and both shows feature twins and have characters that belong tl the lgbtq+ community.

Although one mainly deals with rape and the other suicide, they have a very similar vibe. These dramas are not for the faint of heart, those who enjoy mushy romance, or those wishing to escape the harsh realities of life. Both dramas do an impeccable job of illustrating some of the gravest and heaviest problems facing society and you will definitely “get the feels” while watching.

Both dramas deal with rape/sexual assault in a realistic, non-romanticized way. Each drama touches on responses, including healing, from the victim and perpetrator, parents, and wider community. Cyberbullying is a theme explored as well.

Both are set in school and feature a leaked sex tape (consent is dubious), bullying, ostracism, school administrators who fail to help their students, and students who take investigation and justice into their own hands. Both also had a very realistic approach to this topic.

Both Thai series dealt with issues like cyberbullying, school bullying and social problems that women have to face because of envious 'friends'. In both, the ignored boy who had a crush on her is the only person who truly understands her and supports her.

However, I must advise The Judgement is darker than The Comments (even when all them depict hard themes), since there are some explicit sexual abuse scenes in that one.
