Both are workplace dramas about journalism, Argon about a news station and Big Issue about magazine journalists.
No romance in either, both centered around the boss-employee relationship between male & female lead.

Both dramas are about news stories.
Argon focused on the workplace & politics in a news station and anchors,

TimeLine is more focused around the news stories themselves, and features REAL news stories and not fictional ones.

There aren't tons of dramas focused on the role of media and journalism in today's world, especially with information at everybody's fingertips. Falsify tackles media in a similarly impactful way with a very different storyline and pace but the overall message about how the media must be honest and unbiased in their work for the common everyday people remains the same.

Both dramas involve the newsroom, and issues of truth/fact and government suppression of a free press. Both feature strong protagonists who are veteran reporters with uncompromising ideas about media ethics, and while they are considered to have 'bad' personalities, are trusted anchors.

Both about the injustices behind news reporting. Argon is more exaggerated and about corruption while Fake News more realistic and highly true to life in our internet centered times.

Realistic dramas showing the daily life of Korean people ar work. In Black Dog we follow high school teachers and in Argon the employees of a TV chanel.

They both have that rookie/mentor close relationship and if you liked Misaeng you'll definitely like Argon - although, in my opinion, argon was a bit more fast-paced. They both deal with the workplace and there is no romance at all. Both were feel-good shows that gave off the same vibe.

Both are about broadcast journalism and its many-layered difficulties, and feature the lives of a team as they work and grow together.

While Argon's characters work in journalism and Stranger in a prosecutor's office, both feature a protagonist with a unique personality and leadership style (the latter being complained about by all). Both look at corruption that affects real lives, but I felt a similarity more in terms of the writing style and quality directing. Each episode is tightly plotted, with virtually no wasteful scenes.
