Both of the series are written by the same screenwriter, the tone follows through all of his/her work so It's a big chance that you'll enjoy Save Me if you liked Strangers From Hell. Both works circles around a group of people that gets isolated from the rest of society and develops insane behaviors because of it, very gruesome.
Recommandé par Love
Both dramas are set in the same universe as each other, dark hole taking place soon after the events of save me. They are mostly unrelated, however Dark hole has a cameo from the father from save me and also has a cultist storyline.

Both dramas are dark and are psychological, it's okay it's love is a bit more lighter though with more comedy
Recommandé par Kathy
Both get involved in a cult, and as they suffer they try to find out more about it and expose it.
Both are mystery and thriller.

Both shows:
> Have students as the main characters.
> Showcases rivalry and friendship between the cast.
> Demonstrates how easily people can get corrupted.
> The FLs are active in both shows and establish a difficult friendship with the ML.
> One of the leads is well-off while the other struggles financially.
> You get some old-school fighting.

They have the same type of right from the whole show. Although FOE is more romantic and lighter than SM.

based on Nobody Knows's premier it looks like the plot is surrounded around cults and it gives off the same vibes as Save Me.

They are very different dramas but in both the leads have to scape from a very difficult situation.

two dramas explore same concept about religious cults and stronger people behind them. Both were aired by OCN which is famous for it's mystery thrillers.

Following the failure of her father's business, Sang Mi and her family move to Muji-gun where they have no friends or relatives. There she meets four young men, Han Sang Hwan, Seok Dong Cheol, Woo Jung Hoon, and Choi Man Hee. When Sang Mi and her family face some trouble, Spiritual Father Baek Jung Ki of Goosunwon offers to help them. However, her family is slowly getting sucked into the pseudo-religious cult and the four young men try to save her.

Suspense is very well done in both dramas. Although in different levels, there's lots of mind games and deceiving in both.

The plots aren't very similar, but the intensities of them were both alike. They both induce deep emotions and I actually felt scared by the characters , more so in Save Me. The tone and dark colors are the same too.
Recommandé par noona
Similar subject matter about cults, their charismatic leaders, and people who are vulnerable to them

Both Save Me and My Country the New Age have Woo Do Hwan in a complicated friendship that is shattered by betrayal. Of course in My Country the New Age it's the main plot, whereas in Save Me it's more tangential (and the schism is less deep).
Recommandé par Convenientalias
The cult depicted in "Save Me" seems loosely based on JMS from the first two episodes of "In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal". It shows a probable inside story of a family sucked into a cult with a charismatic leader who claims himself to be the Messiah.
