I started this one a little late, but I am not sorry that I started to watch. I was looking forward to this series because I knew So Ji Sub was in it and I always enjoy whatever that actor happens to be in. The first episode alone already surprised me. I was not expecting a good deal of what actually goes down in the first couple of episodes. The acting is great and the directing is also on par as well. It takes guts to re- enact the original series "Antique"..

Kim Jae Wook, Ju Ji Hoon, Yoo Ha In...all three fabulous Korean actors from the original story (Antique, 2008) went on to become well known and respected TV and movie stars...Singto and the rest of the crew, including directing and producing will have to work really hard to match up...I try to like the Thai version, but so far though it's early on, I feel it's dragging and lacks excitement. It may be that I liked the original version with the original cast so much, it makes it hard to compare favourably...I will continue to watch and hopefully enjoy this version as well.

I read Nakayama Sichiri's book....

... Nocturne of Remembrance and I have to say that this drama that is based on three of books falls short on regard of the fantastic plot, atmosphere, characters, motives.

Sichiri's Nakayama novel -at least the one that I read -is an intriguing book full of interesting characters, with a troubled protagonist and a complicated multilayered plot.

The series on the other hand deconstructed completely and lighten up the story of at least the first novel that I have read, ( I think this drama covers three of them) making the main protagonist looking like a vain egoistic pig, his secretary Yoko looking like a stupid rookie and destroying completely the mystery and unexpected twist of the end.

I managed to watch only the first two episodes of this drama, appalled with the way that the script writers messed up the universe.

Did the writers of the script read the same book that I read and if they indeed did so, ( and didn't read only the summary on the cover of the book) , is THAT what they got from this book?
Just asking because I don't understand how such a intriguing crime legal novel ended up to look like this.

Dropped without remorse.

1 out of 10 from me and I suggest to everyone to read Shichiri's Nakayama books which are by far better as it seems, than their stupid TV adaptations.

Might change later depending on ending

Considering that the Dr Romantic series had an immense success in both seasons 1&2, I had high expectations for season 3. There were only a few K-dramas that I heavily invested in - and Dr. Romantic is one of them. At the end of season 2, the ending was satisfactory, in which KSB (Dr Kim) got what he wanted, which was to build a trauma centre for those in need. I also loved the fact that he worked with his enemy-turned-bestie building their dreams together. Plus the romance between Cha Eun Jae and Seo Woo Jin bloomed at the end - though it was a bit vague.

So when they announced season 3, I was excited, mainly because the heavy dramas were finished; the main antagonist from seasons 1 and 2 was finished, so I thought the drama will be focused more on the daily lives of doctors and their occupational values. However, once I watched season 3, not only the father-in-law card was played, it seems like the reason why the antagonist was that way was the same as previous seasons - only more "makjang".

This review might change, but tbh was a bit disappointed.

Praising the villain

Where to begin with this shit show. I was interested after the 1st episode. We have arrogant male lead who gets tricked by inhumane female lead. He gets repeatedly hurt by her.. I was hoping that there will be some character development for them.. like the male lead makes a stand against the fl and fl regrets and becomes more humane.
No..
The whole show is about the sassy cool fl emotionally tortures the male lead.
I endured because I was constantly hoping for the fl's fall and the ml to make a stand.. but no..
Lol...
It feels like drug for depressed female audience. Thus the high rating.

Unprofessional management

The series , actors, story line is good actually. But what makes me angry is their MANAGEMENT like the actors are new yo gain popularity the series must be aired on time and without any other issues.

First thing the international time is 9.30 but the episodes are updated after 11 pm.

Second at the episode 4 the subtitles weren't available.
The were the next afternoon.

That means a person/viewers stays up till 11 to watch the ep and the sub r not available. And they don't even fix the problem quickly. Others like gmmtv, mandee etc fix the problem right away I have seen their mistakes too but they fix it quickly right away. And this company or channel DO THEY EVEN READ COMMENTS. So I will (may) continue to watch this series after it is completed air.

Wasting my time to stay up late night and they face these problems is out of my patience.

I would like to see Xu Kai's talents utilized.

It's boring. And 40 episodes is too long.
I watched it with high expectations because it stars Xu Kai, who is known for his acting ability, but I was very disappointed.
It's not Xu Kai's fault.
The script is boring.
Moreover, it is a CG-based drama, which I don't like at all.
I don't like fantasy dramas to begin with (although I thought The Legends was interesting).
Imagine the scene before CG, the actors are acting in the dumbest possible situation, and you can't help but laugh when you watch the drama.
Already dropped.
Xu Kai belongs to a big agency and may not have the right to choose the drama if the company tells him to, but I think he should choose the script because Xu Kai's acting skills are solid.

Better dramas to watch

Unfortunately if I'm not hooked from the first episode then that's it.

Despite having watched many, many kdramas I haven't yet watched a JCW so decided to pick one out based on the reviews. Initially the concept was good.. but when too many other characters became involved, with their own unimportant flashbacks, the show lost me from that point onwards. Just something about it just irked me and I quickly lost interest. I am sure it will get better and feature JCW more prominently but I'd rather spend my time on a drama that grabs my attention quickly and leaves me wanting more and more. The Healer failed to heal me.

After watching the first episode it got me so intrigued on where this story will lead. I'm so excited for so many things about this series and at the same time nervous. I'm so curious about each individual characters and excited to know about their stories. Excited on how the romance will go with all the pairings and especially excited with the friendship that'll grow between the interns, i'm a sucker for found family tropes. I'm so happy I can look forward to Sundays again. I'm just so happy right now that this series is finally here. I don't know if I just enjoy things too much that I don't really have anything to criticize right now except that the episode is too short, kinda hoping for a longer one. All I'm hoping is there's no rushing in the later episodes with how short it is and I am hoping for the story to be well executed and delivered with the short amount of episodes. Overall, I'm just so happy about this series being here and love all the characters so far.

What if it could be better

I put a rating of 7 for now because I am a fan of Dylan Wang and Bai Lu but not in this Drama.

The story so far is more than ordinary and doesn't allowed to the ML and FL to be at they full potential ! I agreed with most of the ''negative'' review so far unfortunatly. The stylist is really bad and doesn't bring all the beauty of Bai Lu and the nice silhouet of Dylan. I will not speak about his glasses. I will find out by ourself. I have to admit that ML suppose to be older than the FLbut it doesn't reflected that way at all and what to say about the niece of the ML who look like tha same age has him ?!?

This is really sad because I have watch some modern drama of both of them (Dylan and Bai Lu) and they really can play it really well. This one doesn't suit the talent of these actors. They really do what they can with the role they have been given but still I don't know if I will drop it...

So I will continue to watch it maybe I will change my mind.... I really do hope !

One of my favorite variety shows. It's interesting to see how each of the celebrities interact with their manager, and how each celebrity and manager have distinct personalities. Lee Young Ja and her manager are my favorite along with Yoo Byung Jae and his manager. I love Lee Young Ja's descriptions of food and each of the "Mat-jib" (delicious restaurants) she introduces to the show. I enjoy watching Yoo Byung Jae's introverted personality and it's really funny how he and his manager act like the "odd couple".
I've been a fan of Hong Jin Young, but her personality is even more awesome than I thought. Not only is she hardworking but she also treats all her staff members with care.
Park Sung Kwang's "Mr. Sensitive" persona with his manager Song Yi's considerate and passionate personality are sweet to watch as well as Shin Hyun Joon's 10 year friendship with his manager. I look forward to seeing Sunmi's relationship with her manager, as well as future celebrity guests.
