It is also about people trying to play a game that they seemingly have no control over but they have to use their minds to make it out alive.

The movie version has a different end. The series are based on the movie, only that in the series they meet 8 years later.
Both stories focus on the development of friendship in school into their adulthood. Throughout the drama, a development in characters can be seen. Friendships gained and lost as they grow up. Some light humor.
Both dramas are school based dramas Love O2O is university based while Rush to the Dead Summer is high school based. The leading actress in both dramas is the same. The storylines give off a refreshing and youthful feel.
Both are time travel and princess related only with the twist of sex change but it is a very funny and odd TDrama
One is Korean Drama the other is Japanese Drama + Movie.
In one the main lead is a girl in the other it's boy.
Both have a time traveling theme. In both it took some time to the main lead to understand the situation… The girl is an actress, she think it's about the period drama she was filming since it's the same period with people with the same name... The boy was in a sort of historic theme park and meet an important historic personage who had a spectacle in the park… So they are both involved with some historical facts particularly for Nobunaga Concerto. They both have some futuristic tools they brought with them in the past. They are plenty of funny moment.
There is more romance in My Only Love Song, and it's ending is happier than Nobunaga Concerto.

Both have time travel and romance. Both are great dramas and On Dal reminds me of Wang So, a little bit.
One simple aspect music and musician and student. In the Hippie is a student too, but hey. There is great music in both and the lead actor in both composed the music and wrote the songs and sung them and performed them. So it's just fitting that it's here. However, Hippie is far from a liar. He's ridiculously raw and straightforward. This is on the superficial level of just music and rock.
I had the same feeling watching them, I think they have much in common. Both dramas deals with family and friends relationships as the main plot. They tell us about Korean family life in a heart-warming and hilarious way.
While Reply 1988 is set in the past, Super Family 2017 is set in the modern times.

Right from the beginning they seemed similar, both have the same main plot of time traveling, they're both cute, short and refreshing as well...
Both dramas have the main male lead lacking in emotion and using it to better themselves in their jobs (ABM=Medical, S=crime)
Although the stories are different, a lot of conversations, wording, and comedy reminds me of Princess Pearl.
They share:
- Cha Tae Hyun
- many guest and cameo appearances
and I think many of the people behind the dramas are the same.

Main plot Height difference. Same theme, similar stories, different perspectives.
