A heartwarming drama that shows the best of humanity
A touching, beautiful, somewhat magical and heartwrenching drama that played every one of my heartstrings as though it were a melody. Each episode filled with touching and heartbreaking stories of the deceased; and the powerful, warming journey a young boy with autism goes through to not only give peace to those deceased but to give them the final farewell they deserve.Han Geu Ru, a 20-year-old boy with autism has never had an easy life, he struggles with new challenges and anything outside his set rules. Han Geu Ru's life takes on an even sadder and tragic twist with the sudden death of his father. Having found himself placed into the care of his uncle, a complete stranger fresh out of prison and his childhood friend and neighbour. Together an unlikely and beautiful relationship is formed between Han Geu Ru and his uncle, who once despised Han Geu Ru's father due to a misunderstanding a long time ago.
After a few misunderstandings and incidents, Han Geu Ru comes to trust and love his uncle as a second father, while his uncle learns more about life and the true meaning of it. Through one another the two men grow a strong, unbreakable and loving bond that brings tears to the audience.
An absolute heartwrencher and tearjerker, but it leaves an important message for the audience about life, family and dreams. 'We must always live in the present and not in the past.'
I am very glad to have been able to watch this masterpiece and am grateful to see such an emotional and touching drama. The cast were absolutely phenomenal and played their characters perfectly. What great actors they were to be able to play their characters so well and evoke such emotion and reactions from the audience. A true pleasure to watch.

A Game of Cat and Mouse At a High School Retreat
A class of high school students trapped at a youth center during their class retreat. No teachers. No internet. No contact with the outside world. Then all of a sudden the sound of a school bell and an announcement comes over the loudspeaker: 'The mafia game will begin shortly'.The students' phones are abuzz with notifications as The Mafia Game app installs itself. They each begin to check their identities:
Numerous Civilians
1 Police Officer
1 Doctor
The Number of Mafia??? Unknown.
At first, it's played off as a joke and the class collectively votes out one person. But as midnight comes the bell sounds and another announcement is made saying that the student has been unanimously executed. The student starts groaning and holding his head as if he's in pain before he brutally throwing himself out of the window. What began as a seemingly harmless deduction game quickly turns into a race of survival and a desperate attempt to stay alive.
What follows is a mysterious game of death and deception as fellow classmates begin to die one by one. An epic battle of wits, cruel mind games, and supernatural phenomena show the psychological struggles during extreme situations and complex relationships of the students. Not to mention just how easy emotions can impact one another at crucial moments and the cruel reality of today's society.
Throughout the chaos and pandemonium, the citizens must vote out the mafia in order to live, while the mafia go on a rampage murdering anyone to survive. During the game, many unexplainable things start happening. Is there some supernatural force at play or is the class not really alone?
Lee Yoon Seo - With her keen observation skills and reasoning is determined to find out the mafias and the truth behind the game.
Kim Jun Hee - Tries to balance a sense of justice and responsibility as the Class President, but breaks down at his classmates' deaths.
Oh Jung Won - A tech genius who seems to follow the majority, but her eyes hold a dark secret.
Go Kyung Jun - A bully who believes he's at the head of an autocracy/dictatorship and instills fear in anyone who goes against him.
Jin Da Beom - A seemingly quiet kid who endures bullying but a hidden anger resides in him.
Kim So Mi - The quick-witted and manipulative Class Vice President who will do anything to avoid suspicion.
This drama was thrilling to watch. Not only does it keep you guessing, but you're constantly on the edge of your seat wanting to watch more. At times you'll be intrigued and other times you'll be frustrated with how the students play the game. Their acting will play mind games with you, will make you yell in frustration and other times it will touch your heart just how much some people care about others. There were several plot twists and the odd plot hole, but overall a very fascinating watch and an invigorating experience.

A Film that Allows the Audience to Experience the 5 Stages of Grief
This movie was gripping, terrifying, emotional, heartbreaking and so empowering. Each main character had their own back story that allowed the audience to understand and connect to each person both emotionally and physically. The cinematography and actors immediately drew in the audience and made us sit on the edge of our seats. Each piece of dialogue was exact, to the point, meaningful and important to this movie. As the characters struggled theough hardships and obstacles, we struggled with them, afraid of the outcome, afraid for their lives. Each moment we wished we could help, to enter the screen and do something, anything, but as the audience we were trapped, unable to do anything. While watching this film, I knew disaster would strike from all corners, I knew some people weren't going to make it out alive, that families would be left heartbroken and in mourning, and the city would never be the same again. One person's wrong decision and lack of communication lead to the loss of lives of thousands of people. The gripping tales of the lives of three of our main characters; The Captain, Zheng Zhi and Xu Xiaobin, were cut short and the audience was left grieving and in shock. A movie that you kept hoping for a happy ending, even though it was almost inevitable from the very start. The audience experienced every single emotion from anger, sadness, grief, hatred, pain and relief. This film was so beautifully made, that it was heartwrenching and cut straight to the core of humanity. It touched every one of my heartstrings and I won't be able to forget how this film affected me. A tale of bravery, courage, strength and pain, told through multiple characters. A film that hurts you even more as you realise it's based on true events.
