even though knew what i was "walking into" this was a sad watch. having watched similar movies (my favorite; Sarah Polley's, My Life Without Me 2003) this concept isn't new to me. maybe cause of that could keep a cool head, in-spite of cheating being the main issue everyone is "up in arms" about (usually am the first to condemn cheater's, and think it's never justified. rather people just break-up with their partner/spouse, then cheat on them) but considering the main topic - which is Dying (Not cheating). u can't look at this type of movie with a black an white - rigid POV.this was so much more then - cheating, it was about how people deal with this type of situation - think the only one i can't figure out is Jung Hyuk - first if he so devoted to his gf, why it seem he not even interested in her? and as she has friends, why only he helping her? where her parents at? she had major surgery after all. and as they not even sleeping together (which symbolizes more then just being horny) it means they r serious, that they committed to each other - then his being her guardian makes sense. but his attitude was distant - as if he had to be there, not wanted to. it would go to explain his instant attraction to a beautiful woman, while he was just suffering his spoilt brat of a gf.
the rest is pretty easy to get, Sin Ae was vulnerable, scared, tired, thankful and angry ironically all that was not only directed at her husband, but at herself and Jung Hyuk gave her freedom - not only to cut her husband lose, but to live the rest of what life she had, the way she wanted. even though her husband loved her, he inadvertently made her aware that she should be grateful - his words when she told him she wanted a divorce - just emphasize what they both subconsciously knew. that he though she should owe him for making this grand sacrifice. what started out as love turned into duty and a burden. him acting/filling the role of martyr. so she gave him an out, where he wasn't the bad-guy. where even her death would be sad, not devastating. she accepted the role of bad-guy. even though she did that more for herself, cause she was tired of being a burden and feeling guilty and sorry towards him. nothing here black and white - it's so complex - like human's r. same with her leaving Jung Hyuk even if there was an instance where she fantasized about being with him - she would Never repeat the life she lead just this time with Jung Hyuk, not when she was this close to the end. and her collapse just strengthened her resolve to leave him. her heart breakin in the cab wasn't just for what she could've had with Jung Hyuk, but the end of everything -
found it very ironic that she chose to end her life, in the same place her mother abandoned her, when she was a kid - all alone...

this was so bad, it was good!!!
it was ridiculous - over the top crazy and yet so much fun!!! i enjoyed every minute of this crazy ride - and there a ton of character's to love, like Ozaki's subordinate's, the President who it totally extra and Tsuburaya's fan-boy. the friend and the crazy stalker, ironically weren't that funny just crazy.but i have to say for me the dude that kept stealing the spot-light was Ozaki - he was hilarious - donno him (the actor playing him) from Adam but he really took this character/plot and ran with it... he was everything fun and good - animated and wild - from one scene to the next, he dominated - even though donno if he will "land" the Seme position, given how hell bent Tsuburaya is to dominate his ass - literally lol - but this is hilarious and for sure a multiple rewtach...
btw i get this a whacky comedy, but Ozaki gets freakin stabbed by Tsuburaya's fan/stalker - Tsuburaya get's choked out by Ozaki infatuated friend and everything is just brushed off like meeh no big deal... get this is "out there" but still those were WTF moment's - that weren't as fun.
but other then that, this was really good - highly recommend for anyone looking for something light and fun that will keep a smile on ur face, cause of the absurdity u see - a while after the viewing.

but what i loved more was the fact that he wasn't the typical ML - he didn't cater to his partner, just cause he was the Seme so he was supposed to let the uke use him as a psychological punching-bag to vent all the wrong's he has suffered up to this point in life. that not the type of relationship i like or am looking for in the romance genre (straight or gay) so loved that even if he was the pursuer and pushed and prodded Shima into admitting his attraction, let alone him being gay. he also made him confront his demon's and didn't go over board and left Shima to figure out what he wanted at the end.
personally i didn't like Onoda, yeah he had good intentions - but i felt that he was too intrusive in a relationship he had no part in. but that's the minus in getting involved in ur work-place, there no boundaries and everyone in the workplace makes it their business to keep updated in the couple life - so was kinda shocked that Shima having been burnt once, still couldn't distance himself from Togawa - but u can't help who u r attracted too so i didn't blame him. but it was plain to the eye to see and kinda funny.
really enjoyed this and really connected with the character's and this for sure a rewatch and happily recommend to all

sugar sweet
this was the most endearing, heartwarming, wholesome BL i've seen in a while - from start to finish i couldn't stop smiling cause both the mains, r just adorable - even though Taiichi's dennis the menace personality was just enchanting, i couldn't get enough of him and i "got" why Sugihara fell, so hard and fast for him. doubt anyone could be unaffected by his charm - he was a ray of sunshine and not only cause of his sparkling personality and loud voice, but cause he was a man that stood up for what he though was right and good and he wasn't scared to (literally) fight what he though was wrong/bad. not a lot of people got a back-bone made out of steal, let alone those kind of morals and high standers...this was a joy to view and see how everything unfolded, i could feel when Sugihara's intrigue turned into wonder cause he was hooked and then he "ran/" cause he didn't want to be hated - not by the one person that brought some light into his dark isolated world.
the fact that Taiichi was as infatuated was all the more touching - even though he still couldn't comprehend what he felt was love and that same thing Sugihara has confessed to feeling - he just knew he cared for Sugihara and wanted to be in his life. if that's not a positive ending - idk what is.
and yeah there loads of serious issue's dealt with Sugihara hearing loss - which was getting worse as the time went by. his isolation and segregation by his peers. let alone Taiichi's back-story (which WTF is wrong with people that decide to bring a child into the world and then ditch him cause they want to move on with their lives?!? sorry but people like this need to be castrated, so they can't bring any more children into the world and toss them aside the sec they had enough) and that deep down even though he doesn't seem so, he is carrying a heavy burden - which ironically is also isolating him as he acts like everything couldn't be better, when he is really hurting. so them finding each other felt like kismet, cause they just "fit".
side note: idk where i've seen Tawada Hideya (playing Sugihara) but the dude is beautiful in this movie and was tempted more then once to stop the scene and just stare at his face, he so beautiful - and not even gonna mentioned when he smiled. so having gotten that off my chest - this was a gem - lovely and sweet in the most organic, soul cleansing way - wholeheartedly recommend and for sure a rewtach!!!

talk traumatizing
idk how others r just fine with the content - cause this blindsided me like a MOFO, as is the whole pageant scene (fun and games aside) seemed shady and sordid, and i know as much as beauty pageant r made to seem glamorous, the behind-the-scene's isn't that much different then what we got in this movie - just the girls (cause its publicized) aint as vulgar when they address the public or judges - also they have to up-hold some false image of propriety. here everything was in ur face - literally... and everything was mischief and horseplay, until they got in the car with that disgusting Mayor.as is the sec he walked into that place with his bodyguard and he carrying a gun - i was like where he a Mayor off?!? perv town in a wild western?!? like WTF - and then the way he was fixated on Ace and Mico made my skin crawl! so when i "got" that Ace's babe was that pig (bad joke i know ugh) my stomach turned, wondering how the hell these two boys got mixed up with that f*cker. and then everyone around that depraved old man knew these were "his boys" aish i wanted to projectile vomit all over the screen.
so from the sec they got in that car i might as well have been watching a slasher/horror flick, this was that distressing - seeing them being verbally pushed and prodded into doing Fernan's bidding - even though they young adults, and meant to be rebellious they were so docile it was shudder inducing and yeah for me it was a hard watch after that - even them "sticking" him like a pig (well deserved) wasn't enough to revive my enthusiasm in watching this - felt like a train wreck and i really wanted to avert my eyes - so afterwards more or less fast-forwarded the rest...
but have to say, in-spite of this being brutal - it was well acted and played out - it showed u how depraved the world is and there was no sugar coating of this mess. all the joking around - lighthearted atmosphere turned dark and ghastly half way through - the end was fitting considering they didn't plan any off what happened, they were desperate, inexperienced and in-over their heads. they were basically just thrown around by the situation they found themselves in, and just had to hang on and push through - so logical ending..
so if u not softhearted (like me) and have no problem with this type of depravity - recommend it to u - and even though this sooooooooooo not my cup of tea, i admit - good movie!

sorry but i don't get anyone giving this a high rating - to each their own of course, but watching this i didn't find anything likeable in Jun - who is the MC. his attitude is reckless not rebellious, and we taking an adult here, not a teen - so rebellious really? against whom?!? his dead father or meek browbeaten mother?!? or the worse - a loving understanding partner that didn't and doesn't deserved what he got, in return for his love or trust.... so nah this not worthy of 5 stars, let alone 7 or moreif this was supposed to serve as a cautionary tale, to everyone not using condoms then good - cause the "i like to feel closer..." argument is moronic - closer to death more like - even though as the nurse pointed out, with medication nowadays u can control the disease and live a normal life - but lets face facts, if u sick no matter what u have once u have to live with it for life, it wont stay the same - it morphs and effects every aspect of ur life - let alone when u consumed medication regularly its side effects (that r usually warnings) take effect after a decade or two - that's unavoidable - so "normal" is subjective....
also i really felt sorry for the mother, who is not a mean - bad person that deserves her son disregard and disrespect - he staying with her and treating their house like a love-motel and i don't care what ur sexual orientation is, if ur not married and u bring every tom, dick and harry back to ur home to shag while ur parent's in the other room, that's down right disrespectful and deserving of u getting kicked out, let alone getting a scolding. but she did neither - just kept quite and suffered in silence, no matter what her son did. and she the bad guy?
but Jun's logic is off as he the one who went to meet his ex and then brought home trouble, making a show out of the whole family from the neighbor's to talk about (any Asian's worse nightmare), and if that's not enough he gets mad at the mother and runs off - even after the test he doesn't think it's right to contact his new bf - here Michel the one running around looking for this spoilt ass - why? heck Michel was a better son to Jun's mom then Jun and he understanding on top of it all, considering he also infected?!? this was sad, not sweet or lovely. Jun is selfish and undeserving of Michel's love.
he might hate his dead father but he off the same mold, and the mother had to suffer one when he was alive- now she got another version to take care off in her old age - donno this was kinda depressing and still can't get all the positive reviews regarding this movie.
the only positive i found - dude playing Michel - hella good looking - and i guess the acting was good. so one off
Cet avis était-il utile?
the plot wasn't that unique - tried and true rich kid that's got a gf, but in the closet or didn't even know he was gay, until the new kid comes along and entices him out - he ditches the gf for a bf and as the gf can't get over the loss, she starts plotting ways to break the couple apart and get back with the ML. of course need drama and a heartbreaking moment of conflict, so add the sick dying parent whos hell bent on grandkids, even though her kid is still studying ¯\_(ツ)_/¯¯
and it would've been another ok BL-movie if the acting was good - it wasn't(!) You Xi is a condensing ass from start to finish, he got one emotion going - looking down on EVERYONE as if he doing them a favor for gracing them with his presence. that's how he treats everyone, so if there were emotion's of attraction, interest conveyed by him i blinked and missed it - i guess. but all the other actors didn't do a better job either - heck donno who did the casting (guess Andy Wang) cause even the side and back ground character's didn't seem logical - its like there were kids - children and adults not only teens, that were all mixed up and nothing looked or felt logical - so a train wreak it was - the end scene was freakin hilarious and pretty sure it wasn't meant to be - but we had to get out the sprinklers, so all 3 moron's could stand in the "rain" and add to the water-works as they each be posing and crying Aish plz, i couldn't for the life of me take that serious
what's left to say - if ur bored and looking for a laugh - which will admit there aren't many (laughs) cause You Xi narcissistic attitude aint charming or fun to watch - heck the only other hilarious scene was when his ex-gf slapped him. the way he reacted, it felt like in his life he has never gotten slapped and it looked like he was seriously contemplating punching her (how dare a peasant touch him lol) , but remembered the cameras (¬‿¬)(¬_¬ )

this is a surreal mind-trip that i have to say, donno if i figured out right - as until the last moment it kept me guessing, if the conclusions i came too were right or i needed medication to "get" this movie.ironically a while back wanted to watch this cause of the loft scene, though this was the original, to a remake i saw (The Loft 2014) made in the US. and watching this - it so isn't! it might have started out similar with the paranoid Hyun Woo, wiping down his loft that had evidence of bloody violence's on him and in that place - getting ride of evidence while the cops were at his door - but that's about it.. everything else goes off the deep end and u always wondering "is this really happening" or is everything in Hyun Woo's mind. slowly started to wonder if the original gf he couldn't get over - did she exist? did Jun Hyuk, who seemed to disappear into thin air never to be heard of again (well his body - idk just confused)¯\_(ツ)_/¯
this is ok for a one off and nobody does crazy better then Jang Hyuk - so acting was stop on by the lot. i could care less about the erotica / nudity / sex-scenes as the psychological mind-f*ck was enough to not make it even register. plus it went to further Min Suk's character and justify Su Yeon's action (which aint justifiable, but the whole group was just messed-up. and there was no real backstory offered, to explain everyone psychosis - so left confused).

Feel Good To Say Goodbye

lets start with the bad - and there a lot here - yeah the actors r newbies and inexperienced, but seems so is the director - writer, production etc... cause its not only the bad acting and directing - even the "plot" isn't smooth or coherent. sometimes it just felt like "we" r jumping from one scene to the next and u gotta use ur imagination as to how it fits - sometimes its logical - others not so much. and have to add maybe the subs also were done by google translate, as they didn't help easy the viewing or understanding of this ..also getting scene after scene of topless, toned bodies without rhyme or reason (with tons of "boob" close-ups), makes me cringe considering the age of these actors, words like exploitation come to mind - like a flashing warning sign - given both these young actors no matter how good looking, haven't been in other movies or dramas (well that were noted on this site). but and *plus point here, in-spite of the amount of naked skin we got to view (thank-god) there was a lack of intimate scenes. i.e - it was clear that even when they were kissing of consummating's their love, it was sexless. and i for one am thankful - rather this then see two teens force themselves into situations they not comfortable portraying.
plot wise like mentioned it wasn't smooth, but if u ignore the majority of glitches and focus on the relationship between the guys, from the sec Chai walks into that messy room he gonna share with Aek - he is infatuated. and that's more or less how this whole story goes - Chai loves more and gives more and Aek the typical partner that loves less, takes and takes without a second thought. until Chai gets attacked and that's his turning point - its cute how the get close. but why they part is a mystery to me - cause they graduating? would think if u really loved someone u would find a way to be together - but that scene where they part, was like it was a given that when they finish their schooling their relationship will also come to an end.
their meeting where Aek is in a relationship and moved on, while Chai is alone and still yearning for his first love is indicative of their personality - same with Aek having no problem trying to "get close" to Chai, while his gf is next to him - to me it seemed more lust then love and that's why i got Chai decision to be the bigger person and walk away. i would've preferred he leave that wallet on the bed with his letter cause the dude not only needs to move on. he needs to stop yearning for something and someone that can't give him what he needs. so to me this was a good conclusion to a so so plot - a one off

this was really good(!!!) but talk about a crazy ride - from start to finish, i was on the edge of my seat, screaming at the screen and biting my nails Aish my heart - kinda knew it would be frustrating, cause in normal times most people don't have the patience or humanity to try and understand, let alone help people who r handicapped - so was sure i would go out of my mind cause of the "normies" insensitivity and lack of compassion or comprehension - wasn't wrong on either account. that's more or less why the cops in the first scene kept glossing over the hearing impaired females and always turned first to the "normal" male - maybe there was a tad of sexsisim also involved, but as the main issue was a deaf persons worse nightmare - guess i focused on that bit.great acting by all - even the by the psychopath (seen my fair share of psycho's on screen) and this is the first one, that u could literally see that he was enjoying the hunt - is was fascinating and scary to watch.
loved the mother daughter bond/relationship - touched my heart how the mother didn't care about anything but her child, and same with the daughter (and yeah its logical) and yet seeing it in action was really heartwarming. it emphasized the evil in Do Shik, as the lack of humanity in him emphasized the warmth in Kyung Mi and her mother.
Jong Tak was an ironic character cause of his profession and the choice he had to make - it was understandable and yet it didn't paint him in a great light - cause Kyung Mi had the same choice not once but twice, and she always chose to help. that's also what i loved about this movie, cause u saw how flawed we all r - just cause every body part is in working order doesn't mean we r perfect as seen in the scene where Kyung Mi in the midst of a crowd could get help.... sad reality but great movie for sure a rewatch!

kinda shocked reading the negative reviews for this, cause i Loved it(!), considering the ton of BL themed dramas and movies (from Thailand) i've watched - this is up there with a good ones... the acting was stellar, the plot was interesting not cliché-y. its a coming of age and coming to terms with being gay, or rather growing up in general - i for one loved this -Chimon (who have to admit even if i've watched any of his dramas, i can't remember) but here he / his acting for-sure made one heck off an impression - loved how geeky he was and how the sec he took of the glasses (and yeah that whole scene was a bit farfetched considering what a meek personality Nack had in general - he couldn't stand-up to bullies or anyone in that school. but some random man trying to rob a kid - that screams violent criminal - he stands-up too?!? meeh) but had to get those glasses off lol, so we (well) his love interests would finally "notice" him -
this was far from perfect and i Really would love it if the director's of these BL's would just Stop(!!!) with the sexually exploitative shots of these young actors - the close-up - slooooow shot from top to bottom focusing on sexual organs or butts, and they in nothing but speedos - like we stuck in a 1960 bad-porno ugh plz - like i know sex sells. but it just turns my stomach when i see this shit - don't care if the target is female or male - we in freakin 2021, enough already!
other then Nack, loved his homies - they such a cute pure hearted bunch - true friends. a bit miss-guided at times, but at least their heart was in the right place and when they were needed, they came through. this whole movie was kind of a roller costar ride - started off normal teens, some bullies, some friends but wholesome in general - then almost turned tragic...
what i didn't get was Pong, why he and the other effeminate gays were such b*tches towards Nack?!? and them saying "oh he's gay, but hiding it..." - like WTAF is that a reason to target the dude - and really didn't get Pong (well hated the little f*cker) he kept stalking Nack and if that wasn't enough, he kept lying to others about him and putting him in hot water - even causing a bullying and beat down incident - like why? what, just cause? i really didn't get his motivation - there were so many others in that class, why target a quite guy that was so focused on his studies (cause he could afford a tutor or to fail to get into a community collage with bad scores) cause he knew how poor they were - its just being mean cause u can -
other thing, seeing the poster one would think there some love triangle here - there isn't(!) Petch was a good-looking d*ckhead and a douche, that wanted to use Nack to release sexual tension, cause he couldn't get with his gf (who went to school not far from them) like plz. Nack may have been tempted, but he knew better then to let a douche use him - plus the sec he backed off Pong came in to "steal" his guy, which back-fired cause as Petch said himself "he aint gay" and he for-sure wouldn't be taking Pong out, as if they a couple - he used him and took what was offered but that's about it - so Pong got his - even though dude didn't learn ugh whatever..
Toy on the other hand for sure was interested in Nack and if no-one intervened they might have developed into something - but in comes Nack's mother, a neurotic, crazed bible-thumper that seeing her son (just) sleeping on the same bed with his buddy, asks him the day after "if he gay or a lady boy, and if he had sex with that man he was sleeping with.." like talk about traumatizing ur own child - let alone coming to absurd conclusion, as if they were sleeping in the buff - it was so sweet and innocent, but i guess u see what u want - and her attitude let alone her calling Toy to tell him that her son was "obsessed with him, so as he aint gay - was he?!? he should stay away from Nack,,," - like plz how could a person be this evil?!? she basically shamed and scared both boys into the closet and now even if they were peaking out - after her, it will take therapy to even contemplate who they really r - well that's the case with Toy.
Nack in despair not knowing why Toy was suddenly ghosting him, decides he had enough - but lucky his friends show-up (cause Toy still has a conscience - even if he scared to admit his true feelings and rather push Nack away) he cared enough to call them and inform them they should check-up on Nack.
then Nack is left to pick up the pieces of his heart and just focus on the normal stuff and get on with his life - no happiness or perfection - just life.. his seeing Toy after a yr with a "beard" doesn't help his heart - but given what his mother did, not shocking - Nack on the other hand should've kept his distance and not taken the hand offered in friendship from Toy, cause that would be rubbing salt in an open wound, which in-spite a yr passing hadn't even begun to heal - it would take a lot of work for him to move forward let alone be ready to find love and be true to himself in-spite of that harpy of a mother - this was a very realistic movie and i loved it

what an emotional roller coaster
this movie is slow-spaced and yet not a boring moment. usually watching anything i tend to like or root for some character's and dislike others, when its a couple more so. u see and like one's actions/personality and tend to see the faults in the other's making u dislike them all the more. here weirdly i didn't root for one or the other - it was made very humane, that even the flaws were understandable and invoked sympathy by the end ...the most ironic part for me was the use of black and white and the ignition of color and the symbolism behind its meaning - cause of how immersed i was in Po Wing and Yiu Fai's relationship it took me a while before i noticed the lack of color - this was that good (and that's saying something considering the version i saw, subs were all over the place and some of the time i was guessing at what was going on and what some scenes meant ) yet i was captivated from start to finish.
harder to like or "get" Po Wing i was confused by his motivation, why the push and pull - why drive the person u love bonkers by pulling them in and then pushing them away brutally, driving them crazy only to come back to repeat the scenario all over again. it was as if he was unraveling and at times trying to drag Yiu Fai down with him -
Yiu Fai was a much more stable character, even when he was alone he had an objective going back home and he would work himself to the bone to achieve that goal - he knew Po Wing was bad for him but he couldn't help himself (i guess that when the heart is involved u lead with it, instead of ur head) more so here in this toxic relationship. and yet no matter how hard he tried he could never really push Po Wing away or keep him - when Po Wing wanted out - so i personally was glad that when he took Po Wing back for the last time he kept him at arms length - no matter how much he cared for him literally he didn't sleep with him - which sadly didn't mean he wasn't as lost when Po Wing had enough and bailed - but he found it in himself to finally give up and take on more jobs to go back home..
Chang Wan i feel like was a much needed "breathing space" (ironic to call a person that) but even though he wasn't gay his coming into Yiu Fai life, another fellow that was all alone in a foreign country - they bonded cause the spoke the same language and were strangers in that land - and suddenly Yiu Fai didn't only have Po Wing. he didn't lean in Chang Wan - they were good friends at most. but the fact that he had this normal comparison, i feel like it helped him understand that he needed to stop going back / taking back Po Wing time and again and put his all into going back home and fixing his own life. that he couldn't subconsciously wait around for someone who would never really stick by him.
doesn't mean i didn't feel bad for Po Wing who came back as per his MO only to find that this time Yiu Fai wasn't sitting around waiting there for him, happy to pick up the pieces and give him a safe haven where he could rest, feeling loved and getting taken care of, for however long he needed, until he had enough - that's why the ending kinda blindsided me as i wanted to know what happens to all involved, Yiu Fai goes back but he visits Chang Wan's family's shop - Chang Wan at the other end of the world has had enough of traveling thinking of Fai wants to go back home - and then there is sad broken Po Wing who is left all alone in Argentina - so this time this open ended was a major bummer as i needed more ... for sure a rewatch

can't rate it - good acting but tough subject
watched a few movies about "cleaners" but usually the plot line is criminal - as in someone uses them to cover up a murder, or force them into cleaning up a crime scene and get rid of evidence, then they have to find a way out of the mess - alive etc... more action and thriller then drama - here its a totally different vibe - more depressing. as it basically deals with loneliness.its sad, but this is the new reality, cause a lot of people (world-wide) rather live alone. yeah there r a load of old-folks homes and assisted living residences, but majority of people want to keep their independence and live a "normal" life - in a house that's got history. so this was an interesting take on this issue - guess its also to open the eyes of the general populace - considering there was a lot of info about communicating and reaching out to family member's, and people in general - and the fact that most of the old-folks were totally alone - almost abandoned was an indicator that people r so involved in their own lives, that they forget that reaching out to their parents or an elderly neighbor, is important and a life saver. let alone that they would be found earlier when the time comes, then rot for months on end
on the other hand we have the cleaner Oikawa, who cause of his job is questioning his choices in life - or regretting them - or was it desperately trying to correct them? u can debate who is right/wrong - even understand his choices, as a lot of people - when young don't think about their actions and r too focused on something they deem important, and think that something like children or family is something that is always around. so it can be put to the side and dealt with later - like with his daughter, cause of his wife getting custody he just assumed when she by law turned into an adult, he would then reach-out and be her father - life and people don't work like that - and that's why this was left open.. cause will his daughter show-up? and forgive him abandoning her?
like with Muramatsu - will his son come with his family to celebrate the festival with his father - or will he continue to exist in a void - bottom line a sad movie

agree with most of the commenters, this is a much better movie (story wise, heck even the violence was toned down and what there was of it, wasn't slasher-movie equivalent) then the first "The Divine Move" with Jeong Woo Seong, here cause of the back-story. and when u "use" kids, poverty, add in physical and sexual violence. how can u not identify and root for the main character?!?but have to say a description like the one above is miss leading - cause it makes one think Heo Il Do was some kinda saint, that took in a homeless orphan boy off the streets and out of the kindness of his heart taught him not only Go, but how to survive in this world... which nah - not even close.
the side story, with Loner was redundant, as is there was more than enough meat here without that unnecessary add-on. why they had to add his story. donno. plus his wanting to take revenge on Heo Il Do - acceptable, but why Gwi Soo?!? he as a kid and when Loner watched them, didnt he get that Gwi Soo was against duping his father and wanted to return the money? guess after watching his father go up in flames he got kind twisted. but his killing that poor store-keeper just cause he was around was illogical. unless he is so unhinged and on a rampage - killing anyone and everyone who plays "Go" - if so, why aint he a notorious serial-Goplayer- killer and wanted by the cops?!? just doesn't click.- even his death scene was left open... was wondering if he gonna pop-up at the end or after everything ended... just weird.
plus - and a huge one (for me) thank god there was no romantic B.S. it wasn't needed and given the tone of the movie is would feel strange. so glad. the other plus was that the kid survived. didn't want this to be the typical K-movie ending where its either left open to ones interpretation or u cry ugly tears, cause they kill off the lead.

Lee Kwang Soo as Hopper was a nice addition, didnt add much to the hilarity, but was fun all the same, and enjoyed his part in this movie.
Dae Man's wife was as annoying as the first movie, and that's saying something given there was a lot less of her. even the part where her kid almost gets kidnapped was more on her, and her childish games then on Dae Man. same with the physical abuse - who finds this sh*t funny in this day and age?!? cause i didn't/don't.
anyway the main story was good, just wondered where the adoptive daughter of "venom" went - was she also captured or she disappear?!? cause didn't see her being taken in by the cops at the end. was this intentional or i miss her?!?
