Enjoyable/Cute Drama To Watch
SPOILERS AHEAD, WARNING!!!!Honestly, this was such a lighthearted Chinese drama I have ever watched. I have to say it is probably one of my top 10 favorite Chinese series. This drama is about a unique love between Gu Jia Xin and Zhao Jiang Yue. There are many aspects of this drama that I enjoy and some that I believe this drama missed. So, let's go over my views.
What I liked about this series?
- love how Gu Jia Xin was determined to win over her no matter the obstacles he faced/battled. He fought for with such true love of his. Although Gu Jia Xin knew that the girl was in love with another guy, he still helped and guided Zhao Jiang Yue to chase after the other guy. Gu Jia Xin fell in love with her during the process of how to teach her to pursue another person. However, Gu Jia Xin was smart about making the girl fall in love with him as well. Gu Jia Xin persevered through the hardships he had to face by giving up his career to work for his mom's company for her to get the best care for his best friend who was in the hospital due to an incident.
Another thing that I liked about him is that although Zhao Jiang Yue was his boss, he was never mean, snobbish, selfish, or rude in any way. On the contrary, he was polite in every aspect and even offered his help of how the boss can receive love from the other guy. Gu Jia Xin supported his girlfriend's career no matter what, and he also waited until she was ready to be his girlfriend. Although he pressured her a little into marriage, he stopped asking for marriage because he realized the message of why he shouldn't. He never left her side; although she did some things to him, he still forgave. Overall, he was my favorite throughout the show.
- Zhao Jiang Yue, this character was phenomenal as well. She can be a little frustrating in some episodes, but I understand her perspective as well. What annoyed me about her is that she made a chart comparing two men after Gu Jia Xin confessed his love towards her. She was so conflicted with love because she did not know what love was, and therefore she made that chart to decide who was better for her. I wish she didn't do that, but oh well. Although she caught it in the end, she felt sorry. Gu Jia Xin was mad for a bit, but he knew to forgive her because she struggled with dealing with love, and that's another thing I loved about him. Another reason I like Zhao Jiang Yue's character because she was all about equality when it comes to relationships. What the men do, the women can do it as well. She knew she wasn't ready for marriage yet, because she wanted to make sure that she could give in all she could. She waited till she knew when that moment was. Zhao Jiang Yue proposed to her boyfriend at the end of the show, and I love that. The show portrayed that men don't have to do the proposing; women can do it. She made a lovely video diary of how she was proposing to Gu Jia Xin, which was so cute that it made me teary eyes. Overall her character was terrific as well.
- The relationship between the boss and the assistant. The supervisor is FL, while the assistant is ML. This is a relationship between a woman and a young man. ONE OF THE BEST CHEMISTRIES I HAVE SEEN. THEY HAVE GREAT CHEMISTRY.
- adorable side couple (Duo Xi & Qi Heng)
- The OSTs in this drama are fantastic. I've added each one to my music collection.
- Character development for the side couples, side characters, and our main leads. Basically everyone had great chemistry and good development.
- Love note advice at the end of each episode
- A satisfying and happy ending
- I loved how Gu Jia Xin, never gave up on his dreams
- I love how Zhao Jian Yue helped Gu Jia Xin to not give up his dreams over an accident. She supported his career no matter what.
- I like how Gu Jia Xin never left his best friend side and visited and told him about his achievements.
- the message that this show portrayed. You will understand the message once you watch it.
What I disliked about the show?
- clingness from Li Yan Ran
- Li Yan Ran, in the beginning, was annoying. Although she loved the main male lead, he never loved her. He often told her that he doesn't feel the same way in a friendly, polite manner, but she never backed down. She was always stuck to his side like glue. Another thing that bothered me is that she knew the guy that she liked, liked the boss. He even told her that he loved someone else, but she wouldn't take the hint. Therefore the guy that the main female lead liked, she teamed up with him to split up the assistant and the boss. The boss, Zhao Jian Yue, and the assistant Gu Jia Xin were always together because they lived in the same apartment complex, and they made a deal for lessons on how to guide the boss to pursue the other guy. Gu Jia Xin did not use any tricks to interfere when Zhao Jian Yue chased after someone else. Li Yan Ran made it difficult at the beginning for those two because of tactics. They weren't harmful tactics; they were just annoying. Although throughout the end, her development gets better.
- There was one small villain, she gets taken care of in a good way. I never liked her.
-Worse, the writers attempted to elicit sympathy for the villain. Thank you, but no!
What I wished that happened?
- Although we got to see that his best friend awake, I would've love to seen the reaction from Gu Jia Xin, Zhao Jiang Yue, and his mother of him waking up.
- The female main lead best friend Qian Jing Jing is pregnant, that was sudden. I wish we got to see the reaction of her telling her husband.
- I liked the ending and its overall message, but I low-key wished we got to see a wedding.
Overall this series was very enjoyable to watch. Lots of fluffiness which wasn't cringy at all. This series is not at all cringy. I would say its a comforting series to watch. I enjoyed the series, it had its issues but we can bypass it with the great production, story, chemistry, development, and acting. I hope this review helps.
I hope that they have a special episode of them after marriage.

Very enjoyable and super adorable
I WON'T SPOIL THAT MUCH; YOU CAN READ THIS REVIEW. IT WON'T SPOIL YOU. I'M JUST GIVING SOME INSIGHTS INTO THE SHOW.Okay, I had a good time with this series. This series has such a cute, wholesome relationship between the main couple. There was nothing to get mad at in the show, and I liked how everything was going smoothly. I did not have to feel angry; it was calming and peaceful. There are some things I wish they could've changed; however, I think this series was produced in such a beautiful way. They adapted this series from a manhwa which is currently ongoing.
I read the manhwa and enjoyed it. I love the storyline between the couple, Tae sung and Hae Bom. Within reading the manhwa and watching the series, I was able to identify some similarities and differences. Anyone can read the manhwa, but bear in mind that it is highly mature and contains a lot of adult content. When I watched each episode, I was impressed by how they were able to maintain the same storyline and depict each scene in the same way that the manhwa was adapted. Throughout the series, it was cute, lighthearted, and pleasant.
In the manhwa, when it comes to the transition from high school to college, they go more in-depth about their lives than in the show. In the series, it is understandable because, within the show, you cannot add every little detail. You have to change it up and make it unique in your own way.
I am not going to lie; I did get teary eyes when Hae Bom was being bullied. Those scenes made me sad. I hate seeing someone getting bullied. No one should ever have to go through that pain.
What I liked about the series:
- The main couple had good chemistry
- Jin Huk, who played Hae Bom, did a fantastic job of portraying the character
- Jo Tae's sung best friend, Yong-Hee, was one of my favorites
- Production, acting, and cinematography were amazing
- The ost was specular
- The storyline was beautifully done.
- The side characters were funny
What I think could've been better
- duration of the show could've been longer. I needed more!
- Jo Tae-sung could've been less forceful in the beginning when Hae Bom needed time to think about the relationship
In ep 8, when Hae Bom found out that Tae Sung's mother knew about them dating, I am glad that he used his voice and let Tae Sung's mother know that they love each other. Also, at the end of episode 8, I was happy that they added the scene of Hae Bom giving Tae Sung the rings; that scene was just precious. Also, the way that Hae Bom had his hand out when Tae Sung was putting the ring on his ring finger had me dying. I found that scene to be so cute and funny at the same time.
Literally, Tae Sung would die for Hae Bom. Tae Sung is super protective of him, which I enjoyed very much because Hae Bom was lonely at the time because he did not have his mother to grow up with. Tae Sung and his mother were the only people that grew up with Hae Bom, and they were always there for him. Tae Sung had a one-sided crush on him since they were children; however, when it came to them being in High school and Tae Sung found out that Hae Bom was going off to college soon, Tae Sung finally got the courage to admit his feelings for Hae Bom, because he did not want to lose the love of his life. Although Tae Sung was cold-hearted before the relationship, it made Hae Bom feel uncomfortable. When they were kids, the words were misinterpreted, and this caused Hae Bom to feel that Tae Sung never liked him back then. They lacked communication before they got into the relationship; however, with the problem that they had going on, Tae Sung made sure to always stay by Hae Bom's side. Hae Bom thought that Tae Sung's mother was providing him with those cakes for his birthday, which she never did; it always has been Tae Sung.
Overall, I truly enjoyed this show, and I would rewatch the show. Also, I recommend those before watching the show to read the manhwa before. You will gain a better grasp of the show if you read the manhwa.

BEST KDRAMA I HAVE SEEN SINCE A LONG TIME
HONESTLY, when watching this series, I was constantly smiling, and I had a massive grin on my face with every episode to come. That grin could not leave my face because of how good this show was.EVERY OST TO THIS SHOW WAS SO GOOD !!!
I WOULD DEFIANTLY RECOMMEND THIS DRAMA TO WATCH! THIS SERIES MADE MY MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS A LOT BETTER, AND I AM SAD THAT THE SHOW WON'T BE AIRING ANYMORE.
It is a rom-com show, and it was super funny and such a light-hearted series to watch; I can literally watch this show so many times, and I would never get tired of it. The acting was phenomenal, and all the actors portrayed the characters exactly to the manhwa. The manhwa and the show are very similar; however, it is different in their own ways.
What I loved about the series:
- Bromance
- Grandfather
- Bestfriends
- Shin Ha Ri family
- Tae moo is an excellent partner and boss. Also, his sassiness was on point
- Tae moo was so adorable
- the character development
- an overload of cuteness
- Shin Ha Ri protects Tae moo from his trauma.
- Shin Ha Ri's coworkers protecting her
- The OSTs in this drama are fantastic. I've added each one to my music collection.
Although this series portrays a lot of cliches, they really did a fanatic job of the acting not being cringy at all. Every scene was charming to watch, and I enjoyed each scene. I liked all the characters. They were very likable, except some were considered red flags. I did not enjoy Minwoo and his girlfriend. Minwoo thought of himself only and was being selfish and said that Shin Ha Ri wasn't on his level to Tae Moo; I'm glad that Tae moo defended his woman and said to him don't ever say that about my girl.
Can we talk about the two main male leads? Both of those characters are gentlemen. I loved Tae mu lines whenever it came to Shin Ha Ri. The two male leads had such a fantastic bromance. Especially the best friends as well, their girl romance was unforgettable.
Tae mu's grandfather was so adorable, and I love the parent figure he became for Tae mu. You can see how much both of them care for each other. Shin Ha Ri's father is so wonderful. When her father explained to Tae mu of his worries about his daughter, he mentioned how he felt sorry for his daughter because he couldn't support her dreams of becoming a singer. That scene got me with teary eyes. He felt so appreciated that Tae-mu was there for her when Tae mu said I would protect your daughter with every cost of my life. Shin ha ri father knew that his daughter had found the right man for her and that he could be at ease, knowing his daughter won't get hurt.
Shin Ha min, who is Shin Ha Ri's brother, I loved him so much. When he found out that his sister was dating her boss, he asked, " Why are you dating my sister? Did she blackmail you? He is so funny, and I'm glad that Choi Byung Chan portrayed his role; he acted so well as Shin Ha min.
Cha Sung Hoon and Young Seo this couple were AMAZING; they did sometimes carry the show. Their development and communication with each other were phenomenal. They communicated so well, and also, I love how they gave us both of the character's perspectives when it came to meeting each other and falling in love for the first time. We never get to see that usually; it's sometimes always one person's perspective.
Tae moo and Shin Ha Ri CHEMISTRY WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. I loved when her slipper hit Tae moo's face; that was funny. They did lack in communication; however, it did get better. I was satisfied with all of their scenes. I appreciated the hug scenes very much. These two were so lovable to watch. Tae moo was such a gentleman to Shin ha ri, and he gave her the space she needed when she was still thinking about her feelings. I love how they both protected each other; Tae moo protected her at work and his family. Shin ha ri protected him at work, with family, and from his trauma. Everything about this couple was excellent.
THIS SHOW ALSO PORTRAY SOME PSYCHOLOGY IN IT; for example, when Tae moo had his panic attack, the drama showed us how he handled it.
Cons for me:
- More on-screen time for Tae moo and Shin ha ri
- more eps
This show is unique, and it does not irritate or cringe with its cliche plot; instead, it makes you more invested and interested in the series. THIS SHOW IS YOUR THERAPY, AND IT WAS DEFINITELY MY THERAPY. This drama is special to me because of how light-hearted it is; it plays with your emotions and makes you want a lot more.
I hope you enjoy this drama as much as I did. If you don't, we're not going to be friends.
Let's be friends?
I 100% RECOMMEND THIS FANTASTIC SERIES.

Prepare to have tissues if cry easily
This film was so beautiful, l didn't expect to cry much, but I cried mostly in every scene. Every scene throughout the movie was very heartfelt, and it made me get teary eyes.Ren and Rino were brilliantly portrayed by the actors that played them. In the film, I also enjoyed their best friends. I admire Rino's friends for sticking by her side when she was going through a tough time in her life. I also respect her boyfriend's commitment to her and how he stood by her side throughout the hardship. Ren took excellent care of Rino. He made sure that she and he were both happy. I'm glad he and Rino didn't have to experience it alone; they had their friends, classmates, Ren's parents, and Rino's grandfather to help them out.
When Rino and her grandfather came back from the hospital after Rino got diagnosed with ALS, I cried—watching her cry first because she knew how difficult this would be for her and her family around her. Then her grandfather watching his granddaughter cry made me sob even harder; he knew what she would have to face later in life and how difficult it would be for her.
Rino and Ren were in Rino's bedroom, and Rino indicated she wanted to do it with him. Ren, on the other hand, was taken aback; he wanted it as well, but he wanted it to be a memorable experience for them. Ren's perspective on the subject is appealing to me. He didn't hurry into it; instead, he waited for the perfect moment.
This film may appear to be slow, but you must remember that it is a sad film with a slow pace. Despite the film's slow tempo, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I plan to rewatch which will probably make me cry even more.
The actors performed such an excellent job portraying the characters that you can sense their emotions in every moment. Despite the fact that the film was sad and heartbreaking, it made me smile. The story was really motivating, and it sent a profound message about the importance of life. It teaches you to appreciate life to the fullest since you never know what will come your way. This film was a roller coaster of emotions. I would strongly suggest it to anyone; however, bring a box of tissues with you.

The series was good but that plot twist though
Overall, I liked the series, but the finale has left me intrigued.I get it, but not at the same time.
So apparently, Nisa and Akin were playing a game in which they were the avatars. There is, however, a real nisa and akin. Do they have kids? So my thought is that they are telling the story of the avatars Akin and Nisa. Nisa and akin come from two different game worlds. It made us seem like akin was going into the real world, and Nisa was coming into the game world. However, we know that it wasn't like that in the end. They tricked us. Both the worlds were game worlds.
One thing that got me a little annoyed is how they kept erasing akin memory, and he kept having to fall in love with Nisa all over again. However, I enjoyed the process because you see that with his love, he always manages to go back to Nisa and fall in love with her again. He does repeat the same steps of when he fell in love, and they were different all the time. I also loved that akin did anything to protect Nisa from his world. If he did not want anything bad happening to her or knew the outcome, he risked his life to reset himself or delete himself. I love Nisa. I love how she was always there for akin when he was in trouble or hurt. She was his life-saver. They both protected themselves from the bad. They managed to overpower people with their love and show people that their love won't die so easily.
Another message that I saw throughout this show was Family. Nisa and her mother left the house when Nisa was young, and that's because Nisa's mother did not like how Nisa's father was so preoccupied with the game he was trying to develop. Nisa's father one day came home from a long day from work and saw that his wife and daughter were leaving. Years later, Nisa's father developed a "Better world" game. Things started to go wrong in a better world, and Nisa's father went missing. Therefore Nisa went to look for her father and discovered what he was hiding. Once she found the VR set, she stumbled into the game. In the game, Nisa became confused; however, she met someone who changed her life for the better, and that person was Akin. Akin and Nisa become acquainted. When Nisa sees a man needing help after the mystery killer stabbed him, Nisa tells them that she's a doctor and then saves Akin life. Later on, things get complicated for Nisa, and she's trying to escape the game but doesn't know, her father suddenly appears, and his partner makes him choose between giving up every right to the game to his partner or letting his daughter die. Nisa's father at first tricked his partner. Nisa's father's partner made him choose, but he realized that Family comes first. Nisa's father put everything down the line to protect his only child. He realized then, because of Nisa, that Family is always first, no matter what.
The series did get dragged out; however, I enjoyed the story, the acting, and the overall plot. If you look at the show from a different perspective rather than the duration and how many eps there were, realize what the story was about. I like the writer's message in the series, and it's a good message about love. Love doesn't always come easy, and you have to fight hard for what is yours. There were many obstacles between Akin and Nisa's love; however, they managed to overpower through those obstacles and beat it out with their love.

Semantic Error Best BL in Korea
OMG, I don't really give shows a high of a rating; however, this show deserves the high ratings. The cinematography, production, chemistry, acting , and was plot was on point; it was so good. It killed my insides in a good way.I HAVE TO SAY THIS ONE OF KOREA'S BEST BL IN HISTORY.
Overall I really enjoyed reading the manhwa to be able to understand what's going on. I still have to read the novel as yet. I think between the novel, manhwa, and the series they did a really wonderful adaptation. I watched this on VIKI.
Jang Jae Young (Park Seo Ham) is my favorite character in the show; I admire his dedication to Sangwoo ( Park Jae Chan) and his refusal to leave his side. Jang Jae Young understood Sangwoo's demand for space and granted it to him a couple of times rather than becoming confrontational with him. He did not stalked and harassed, Sangwoo.
What I liked about the series:
- Jang Jae Young being respectful to Sangwoo when he needed his space.
- No evil character
- The music really fit into the series
- Good side characters
- the aesthetics/styling of all the characters.
- light hearted
- Sangwoo being funny, sassy, sarcastic
- good production
- it linking in with the manhwa
To be honest, this series took me on a roller coaster journey! I appreciate that they released two episodes per week, but I'm sad that it came to an end so quickly. Another thing is that, despite the fact that it ended so quickly, the plot did not feel rushed. The series was so well-made that, while it did leave me wanting more, the way it wrapped left me feeling complete and fulfilled. I cried throughout the final episode; viewing this was an emotional roller coaster for me.
One of the most compelling aspects of Semantic Error is the chemistry between the two actors representing the roles. Both Park Jae Chan and Park Seo Ham seemed to be enjoying themselves in their roles. Another thing I admire is that there was no awkwardness or tension; instead, they were simply being themselves, and they seamlessly integrated into the characters. They had a wonderful chemistry.
I was thoroughly entertained from the beginning to the last episode, therefore I have no complaints. The plot revolved around them being enemies to lovers at university. The school rebel, on the other hand, falls in love with the techie right away and refuses to give up. Despite this, the school rebel (Jang Jaeyoung) is courteous and respectful of the Sangwoo wishes. He doesn't try to persuade him to do anything. He gives Sangwoo time despite his desire for answers. With Jaeyougn, he's never aggressive.
Semantic Error was able to create characters that were not only immensely lovable, but also showed their growing affection for one another. We can see how they're falling for each other, and we can also see why they're falling for each other. This series is really well-paced. This is honestly my ideal comfort. It will make you smile and warm your heart.
In his post, Park Jae Chan (Sangwoo) stated that the majority of his cast mates became his true friends. He also stated that Park Seo Ham had become his best friend, which I found to be really sweet. You can tell that the two grew to like each other and built a strong bond over their time working together. Despite the fact that his firm did not want him to assume this role, Park Jae Chan stood up for himself and said, "I can do it." He was able to deliver something positive to the fans, the directors, and everyone else with his achievements. At the same time, he made a best friend.
