I believe this has to be one of my favorite dramas after Stranger/Secret Forest. I decided to watch this drama because of tvn- I was impressed by Stranger/Secret Forest. Initially I did not like Lee Ji-an or Park Dong Hoon but they have to be one of my favorite couples onscreen now. This show not only is great in cinematography but it actually has a story. It shows love of three brothers. the misunderstanding of a couple who's love is lost, cheating spouses, issue of us humans not treating each other equally because of status (Lee Ji-an), losing first love due to love taking the route of spirituality and God, the mindset of corporation and the business world. I haven't seen a Korean or even a American drama which shows accuracies of what people go through everyday. I completely could relate to Park Dong Hoon and what has caused him to be the quiet, suffering soul-someone who at the end of the day reminds himself, it's not a big deal. This drama shows how people are suffering quietly in their everyday lives and sad reality of Korea on how people drink away their problems and stress late into the night.

It shows a rare, unlikely connection/bond between two people who are from different walks of life and how they end up befriending each other and helping each other out knowingly and unknowingly through out their hardships. These type of people are true rare gems of life and they are often those who you never thought you'd be friends with. I believe this show has written normal life situations and problems so easily which I believe anyone could relate to.

I would strongly recommend this drama and its OSTs, and I applaud to those that are involved in the making of the show.

So I didn't write a review for Voice 1 because I ended up watching it a year later after it aired and I did enjoy Voice 1 as much as Voice 2. If you want to compare the two - I would choose Voice 1 for accuracy and Voice 2 for a much more involved story within the main characters rather than have the procedural cases. Voice 2 does have case for each week but it's more involved about the main antagonist (Kwon Yool) and main protagonist (Lee Jin Wook).

Voice 2 does have good actors in it - Lee Na Ha, Lee Jin Wook, Kwon Yool, and Son Eun Seo, Kim Wook Suk. I would have to say the main three characters did outshine in their roles as usual but the story does fall short on the lame cliffhanger they chose to have and its shows the poor weak writing that was done so we could have a Season 3. The one character they kind of butchered in the sense of the finale and the episodes before the finale has to be Kwon Joo (Lee Na Ha) - she loses her essence as a strong woman who relies on her distinct hearing but somehow it turned to a game of chasing between Bang Seo Joo (Kwon Yool) and Kang Woo (Lee Jin Wook).

Lee Na Ha and Lee Jin Wook have great chemistry and have shown subtle romance between their characters which was delight to watch. Son Eun Seo (Park Eun Soo) has kind of the same backstory here like her younger sister had in season 1 so I didn't enjoy that much because she's a supposedly a strong woman cop but couldn't differentiate between love and abuse. But it was interesting for the case to be presented in the show because of the growth of abuse in dating. Kim Wook Suk (Agent Jin) was great - never seen him in anything else, but I'd be happy to have him again in the show for the next season.

I do recommend the songs/OSTs - they go perfectly with the characters and if you were a fan of Voice 1 - don't miss it because its nice to see the GTT again and a new story and maybe some romance finally for our Kwon Joo ;).

I believe Sketch is probably a decent drama for Summer 2018. I really like crime/corruption dramas because they are usually realistic and are about something relevant in the society.

Sketch starts off with the normal good cop trying to save everyone with a fiancee who is kind of unlikable who happens to be a strict prosecutor. They're relationship was kind of awkward and there wasn't much chemistry but it was necessary for the story. Then we have another cop (Shi Hyun) who is working in another unit that is kind of not really accepted by the police force and they start their investigations on whatever she sketches due to her ability from her childhood.
Each case in Sketch is pretty much surrounding money, crime, killings that occur in the society. Some characters that were quite annoying from the being like Jang Tae Joon, I didn't understand why he was so involved in the killings besides the fact his sister ends up dying in an event. Some of the morals of the characters were quite messed up but it shows that were all not normal human beings.

The one character, I did feel bad about was Kim Do Jin, he was quite the loser from the start to the end of the show from his wife dying and him killing all these people under the command of Jang Tae Joon and Shi Hyun's brother.

I did feel that the character of Rain's from quite dumb because he kept on letting Kim Do Jin get away but if he was caught then there wouldn't be a story here.

I would totally watch season 2 if there will be one for the story and maybe Shi Hyun and Kang Dong Soo's relationship.

I would rewatch just to get a refresh of the story and recommend this show.

I believe this has to be one of the best Kdramas I have watched. This was actually my second try on Kdramas on Netflix (after watching Man x Man I was not satisfied with the story but loved the OSTs). I believe Cho Seung Woo is a fine actor and A list actor for me from Korea. I loved how everything tied up together at the end and how ChaJung Lee's father in law kind of predicted the killer's death (He always wanted the killer to get cornered and jump to his death-which ChaJung Lee ends up doing). I believe I watched smart writing after a long time-I've seen too much of American tv shows which go on for too long and lose their initial story. I am proud to be a Kdrama follower and hope to see another season of this show and can't wait for Life!

I strongly recommend this show and its OSTs.

I am writing my review for My Husband Oh Jak Doo two episodes before, because I think we all know how this one is going to end.

I got the opportunity to binge watch the first 8 episodes and I was totally hooked because I liked the funny, light-hearted story of Seung Joo and her fake husband, Oh Jak Doo. I also enjoyed the side stories/sub plots within the the big plot of the 3 grandmas, serial killer, Seung Joo's friends and annoying boss (Eric Cho Bong Sik) and her coworkers.

However it ended up being kind of being a story with too many cooks and it just became a drama for me that I could watch while eating breakfast on the weekends.

The characters in this show are kind of over the top ones- they scream, are dramatic and usually leave you with a laugh due to the dumb situations each character is put in.

I would say my favorite character on this show has to be Eric Cho because he's delusional (as someone said on this forum) and he is also a great guy who is kind of stuck in his dad's wrong deeds and wants to get something out of it. The pairing of Seung Joo and Oh Jak Doo is okay and cute but I liked them much more better as friends (till Episode 9 I believe) but they're an ideal couple for Kdramas. However, I would love to have a Oh Jak Doo in my life who is rich, good-looking, and is great at housework and also has a professional life.

As for acting- Uee has improved alot (I've seen her first in Marriage Contract-her crying scenes weren't the best for her there), but I believe she has a long way to go. I would love to see her in a much more darker role. Kim Kang Woo is great here-his dialect is perfect, his crying scenes are too cute and I would love to see him again in another show!

Other characters on this show are kind of annoying but they act all great- according to their parts. I would say Han Sunhwa is given great outfits but she doesn't have much to work with. Jung Sang Hoon is great as I mentioned earlier in my review, his English has to be one of the highlighted moments of this show ;).

I give this show a 7.0/10 and I would watch it again maybe when I need a laugh or need to get my mind off of things. OSTs are okay- OST Part 5 of this show is cute.

Two characters we actually need right now in our world.

I honestly love Simok & Yeojin's relationship. Whether we call it platonic, professional, or even romantic - they by far exceed any two lovers I have seen on Korean television. Their teamwork really works, and it works because of the way they are. I have seen any two people so straightforward especially Hwang Simok. Han Yeojin does sway when Choi Bit influences her but she does realize her decision of supporting Choi Bit. I understand why so many fans this season were so not into the story based off of the pacing. I think the show took off after we see the main leads finding out on Seo Dong Jae's kidnapping. But before that case takes off and other lies and cases open up we see that ep 1-8 are the setting ground for the show. If you see the ratings for the last episode it means the show worked. The audience (us) we were convinced by Lee Seo Yoon's writing. I really liked this show but also felt disappointed at parts because of the complexity of certain things I didn't understand but the reason why I liked this season once more is because of LSY showing on why people do certain things. Her entire concept of this show "we cannot rule those want nothing" (btw I read this quote on this review from 2017 -https://4musingsblog.wordpress.com/2017/08/27/hwang-simok-the-man-who-cannot-be-bought-ep-1-16/ ) still reflects in her writing. Hwang Simok's character is still pretty much the same but it has changed for the better and he has become a much more mellowed person based off what he went through. He still believes in justice and he still wants to solve to know and have what is right. Han Yeo jin's character goes through a change I think we all could go through (in fact I went through when I worked with administration) - she kind of blocks all the noise she hears from the Intelligence Bureau & her slimy co-workers and tries to work respectfully still trying to follow her ideals. Choi Bit reminds me of a fearless so called feminist that must / might believe in that women are better than men and that is feminism (in reality we all do know that feminism is equal rights for women and men). Woo Tae Ha - I won't say he didn't surprise me in fact he from day one seemed like a weak character that is just pure evil and full of himself. It made me laugh when he tried to compare himself of LCJ even though LCJ was more of a planned out evil guy who tried evil ways to show the truth. However each actor has played themselves very beautifully and have accomplished what they needed to. I do want to mention Lee Yeon Jae being a spoiled brat to a scheming bitch - the Hanjo storyline might be a storyline again for season 3 (fingers crossed) but I do feel bad for her having no one on her side except for Secretary Park but she did love her husband in her own way.

I am really impressed on the background score and how much work was put into it for this show. I do believe I will watch this show again in a couple weeks or so just to understand the intentions of each character and on why they did certain things. Like I said before we already know the corruption within the prosecution & police force - we see it and hear it everyday in fact there is corruption at every corner and like how Han Yeo Jin - if she gets rid of one criminal, two more criminals will pop up - this is in fact true. The main idea behind this show I feel like was to show us the emotions, feelings, and attitudes of each character toward their life but also other peoples' life too. It is hard to care for others when we don't care for ourselves but it is even more harder to support the truth and be part of what is right. I will be totally waiting on season 3 so I can see my Hwang Simok smile again haha :)
