When you play with fire...

Spoiler...

Sae Hun's house of cards is starting to crumble. He's becoming more and more desperate. I hope everything fails for him! He doesn't deserve anything he has in his life. He's a lying, cheating, good for nothing scoundrel! He has completely led a double life ... and he actually has the gal to act like he's in love with that woman. What an unconscionable ass. I'm really looking forward to all his lies being exposed & him getting it good. That big resort project he's working on? I hope it goes to hell! I can't forgive him for what he's done. Instead of Kang Ho HE should been the one in the wreck ... and he should have died!

BHO? He did what ...?!

Aigoo, I'm pretty sure this blasted Sae Hun guy is gonna be the death of me this festive season. How DARE he lay a violent hand on a woman??? Aigoo ... this man is getting from bad to worse. Why can't he get hit by a bus or something? WHERE is the bloody terminal illness that so populates K-dramas when you need one? Somebody needs to off this guy. Quick! Aigoo ...

Eun Nim and Kang Ho, honestly I hope they don't drag this out much longer. I'm starting to get annoyed with Eun Nim's resistance. She did what she had to do to save her family ... is Kang Ho that much of a bigot that he won't understand her? I don't think so ... so she should stop the damn game and get with the guy already! He's a great catch and he's already stark, raving mad about her.

You're gonna crash & burn, Sae Hun, & I can't bloody wait for it!!!

Spoilerific...

Omg, I can't bear the sight of Sae Hun. I can't bear the sight of him! To think that I loved him so much in the beginning! Die, you bastard, die! Grrr ... he has it coming & I hope he gets it good!

After everything she's been through, putting up with all that crap from his family, does Seon Young deserves this??? No, she doesn't. She deserves nothing but the best for being such an obedient and long suffering daughter-in-law & wife. My God, the poor woman can't even raise her damn kid the way she wants without interference. Man, if this is the way shit really goes down in Korea ...

I hope she divorces his ass and take Yoo Bin away from him and his crack pot mother.

And that damn little girl ... is she high? What does she expect to come of this? Was she really looking for a happy ending? She deserves every bit of heartbreak coming her way and more! Flipping idiot.

I'm ready to see Eun Nim and Kang Ho be together. No more of this dilly dallying non-sense!

I couldn't care less about Chul and Nan Jung. Moreover, I don't like Nan Jung in the slightest. She's a good-for-nothing spoiled little bitch. Chul deserves better.

What the ...

I'm really, really, really hating Sae Hun right now! Really! I don't know how he can ever redeem himself in my eyes. Two wrongs do NOT make a right!

Poor Eun Nim, I feel so dreadful for her. She needs to go to her family and stop carrying such a big burden on her own.

I'm really getting sick and tired of all the hysterical bawling in this drama. Every second there's wailing and gnashing teeth even though the situation doesn't call for it. Really makes me LOL, when I'm not otherwise annoyed. I'm ready for this drama to take a new turn, if it doesn't I might drop it because I'm certainly not happy with the current turn of events.

She's too much!

Omg, this mother-in-law. I wish Sae Han and Soon Young would move out and go live on their own. This woman is really stifling their marriage. And Sae Han better watch himself with that receptionist girl. I really hope he doesn't go there. Great episode leading into the next, but a lot of the acting from the supporting cast is really exaggerated and over the top. Very annoying, but I guess that's what you have to expect from melodramas.

You're not cute ... sweet :)

It's funny to think that I started this drama thinking 'meh, this looks one I'll be dropping around the 3rd episode'. How wrong I was. This is so far a beautiful story of friendship, growing up and finding your way in the world. It's hitting very close to home because it's not been very long since I had (and still have) similar feelings about life and my place in it like the characters. My favourite scene has got to be when Sae tries to comfort a crying and upset Kai after he gets dumped. So sweet and touching. Kai is an amazing guy. I understand why Sae's into him. He's really easy to love. Camping scene was also well played. I'm looking forward to see what becomes of the budding relationship between Shonhei and Akane, but poor Keita ... I hope he finds someone just right for him!

The Oranges are good

Great first episode. Lovely set up of the lead characters and their world. Pretty relateable too. It wasn't so long ago I was in the exact same boat as these young people so I'm already quite curious to see how this plays out.

I liked it, but I wanted more

I can't forgive Asahina. I just can't. His actions were too vicious. I understand that Hyuga felt indebted to him after all they've been through to build the company, but after what he did I'd never be able to trust him again. I would have liked his end to be outside NI. I'm okay with Hyuga forgiving him, but Asahina's brilliant in his own right so Hyuga should have let him go start his own company elsewhere.

As for Hyuga and Natsui, they're so cute together. I'm glad they got their happy ending, but I wished their final scenes together were more romantic. Also those were some really lame ass kisses. RMPW is my 3rd J-drama. The other two I have seen had pretty decent kissing so I had kinda sorta expected it to be the same in this. Anyway, it was okay overall. Started out really slow for me, but picked up nicely toward the end. I'm glad I stuck it out.

Yaa, Kim Boong Do, you REALLY want to die??? Omg...

This episode is driving me crazy. Kim Boong Do is too damn smart for his own good! Does he really believe he can save his entire village?! For a smart man he's acting extraordinarily dense. I don't like where this is headed! Don't like it at all. There'd better be a good spin on this or I'mma freakin' blow a gasket, I swear.

The phone call between Boong Do and Hue Jin was damn heartbreaking. I really felt her desperation to save him, unfortunately the guy is just too sharp for her to outsmart. I think she should have rushed to the house then since she knows what will become of him when he goes back.

If you know this is the last time you'll see the person you love wouldn't you go to him before he goes to his death? Grrr!! It's these little things that get me annoyed with Asian dramas. Their characters are so real, and yet writers & directors still have do them shit that defy logic. #smdh

Cute

Quite liked this episode. Hero & heroine have really nice chemistry. Loved her lesson in proper modern etiquette! haha & for once the typical frozen kiss so prevalent in Korean dramas wasn't inappropriately used! Still think Boong Do adapts waaay to easily to the modern world, though. I would have liked to see him being overwhelmed by all the technological stimulants he comes across.

Still too early...

It's still too early to form an opinion of QIHM. I continue to watch in anticipation of good things to come, but I'm not yet hooked. I have questions, though, which keep me looking forward to future episodes and that's always a good thing.

Not bad

Gotta say for a 5-yr old Xiao Le sure has some big words in his vocabulary and is wise beyond his years. I'm not buying it for a minute.

I love how Guang Xi and Mu Cheng are slowly getting closer to each other. It feels like we're given a second chance to see them fall in love. Considering how rapidly their relationship developed in the beginning, I really like that they're giving them time to let the chemistry build.

That said, Guang Xi hasn't quite won me over yet. I'm still loving Tuo Ye as the ideal man for Mu Cheng.

The villagers are hilarious, esp Tuo Ye's mother. Even though I think Xiao Le is acting too big for his age, I love him. He's so cute! Can't wait for the three of them to become a nice little family! :)

Man, she's cold

President Fang, I really wanna know what hardened your heart. Damn, this lady is cold as ice, but it was nice to see her show some emotion toward her son like any decent mother would. Even though she was under duress, I'm not convinced Mu Cheng had a strong enough motive to take off, but oh well. The last scene with Giang Xi ... oh and let's not forget old rapist step daddy. All that was just a tad too melodrama-y for me, but overall there were some pretty touching scenes in this episode.

Still going strong!

Even though men do tend to wait until its too late to come to their senses and do the right thing, I feel bad for Tae Bom ... the guy can be a tool sometimes, but this time around he actually didn't do anything wrong to deserve what he's getting. That's one of the reasons why I dislike misunderstandings as a plot device. It's unjust. I love the chemistry he has with Soo Young though. I hope things work out for them.

Man, I'm tellin' yah, the South Koreans really know how to wring every last bit of emotion out you. The scene in which Tae Hee sings to Ja Eun ... damn! Very touching. Brought tears to my eyes. And the guy can sing too. Very well done.

Tae Sik is perhaps the most pathetic guy I've ever seen portrayed on screen. They could not have cast a better actor to play this role. Just one look at the guy's face has me in fits. And not because he's funny, but because he's so pitiful. That said, I have to like the guy. Somebody has to give him a break, even if it's just me, a member of the audience. The character is also very true to life. I'm sure everyone knows someone like Tae Sik in their own life.

This episode (and indeed others) loses a point though for some really absurd occurrences. For eg, who goes to bed fully clothed in a bloody tux when you ain't drunk??? #smdh

I really thought with 58 episodes this drama would lose its steam eventually, but it's still hovering at 10 for me.
