Great!

I really enjoyed the scenes set in the Jesoen period in this episode. They're packed with espionage and intrigue. Kept me wondering what's going to happen next. Queen In Hyun is so ethereal she looks not really of this world. Good casting.

I loved the ending of this episode too. Boong Do is so guileless and sincere in everything that he does that it's hard not to like him. I can't wait until they get a bit more touchy feely! haha

Ya...Mu Cheng! :O

If I'm to describe this episode in one word it would be heartbreaking. Xiao Le crying after Guang Xi like that ... it absolutely gutted me. I feel bad for everyone involved except Mu Cheng. She needs to tell the truth! I can no longer sympathize with her withholding everything. There's no good reason to. Nobody is twisting her arm like last time when she had to bail on Guang Xi.

As for Xiao Le, he's really cute, but please which 5 yr old act/talk like that?? And who picks up a 5 yr old, takes him to a big city no questions asked without alerting the authorities?

This episode provided some good drama, but man does it piss me off something fierce!

Best episode so far!

I love seeing Guang Xi and Xiao Le together! They're adorable. It's obvious that Guang Xi is gonna make a great babba! I can't wait for him to find out the truth.

Getting better and better!

Great episode! I must say I like the Gardner guy. He's cute. Cuter than lead guy Guang Xi even, and I like his total devotion to Mu Chueng, the heroine. Things are definitely looking up. I just hope this series doesn't pull a Padam Padam as far as the hero's illness is concerned, though. I'd be so upset.

Struggled a bit...

This will be my first Taiwanese drama. I had to struggle through the first episode. My exclusive k-drama consumption, up until now, has corrupted my ears to the sound of other languages. I had to reduce the volume to very low levels just so the Taiwanese could be tolerable. As for the episode itself, the long set up of the characters was a bit tedious. I wasn't immediately intrigued. I had to pause and then come back to it several times before I finally got through it. The performances also came across a bit forced, especially Vaness Wu's Ren. Things looked up a bit toward the end, though, so there's a promise of better things come. Very few dramas I've come across start off with a bang anyway so I'm gonna rock on and see how it goes.

B.S.!!!

I'm so pissed off and angry right now. Would it kill them to just let Boong Do and Hue Jin be happy together for just ONE full episode???? They weren't even together for a minute before they were torn a part ... AGAIN!!! Everything started off so well only to result in THIS??? I'm so regretting having watched this show!

The first signs of love

This episode was pretty good but I can't bring myself to believe the time travel. It seems very contrived. This is mainly because we're not allowed to experience the discovery of this awesome, new modern world along with Boong Do. We're TOLD a lot of the challenges he faces, but we're not SHOWN it so his character is not convincing to me at all. I can't believe professional writers are still making this mistake. It's one of the most basic rules of script writing 101. Sigh ...

Hui Jin's manager annoys me. I think her acting (or maybe it's just the characterization) is a bit too over the top. Sure, Hui Jin may make her life difficult but her facial expressions and overall bombastic reactions to simple situations are exaggerated to the point of ridicule. She's also very rude. She treats Boong Do like crap until she assumes he possibly might be rich. Nah, she's not working for me. Han Dong Min is a nuisance. I really want to swat him like a fly every time he comes on screen & interferes with Hui Jin's life! lol

As for Hui Jin & Boong Do, I can definitely see the chemistry between them. They make a very cute couple. I'd be very content just to watch them alone, without all those bothersome side characters. Boong Do is even kinda growing on me. He's not really what I'd call attractive, but neither is he as bad as I initially thought. Really looking forward to the next episode!

She did WHAT???

I'm glad Yoo Jun has finally grown up and realized what a great man she has found in Han Seung. She now loves him as much as he loves her. That's nice because he has put up with a lot of crap from her to the point where I was starting to believe he's a chump. With that said I didn't like that she proposed to him! LOL Call me old-fashioned or whatever, but that's a man's job. Happy to see them happy, though. Han Seung is over the moon. For once I can say it's the woman who doesn't deserve the man. Yoo Jun is very lucky.

As for the rest of the show ... to be honest I'm starting to get bored. I've already fast forwarded several scenes. I just think they've started to drag things out a bit with the same old cliche of the elders disapproving of the girl & the girl not wanting to marry. Yawn. Don't these scriptwriters watch other TV shows & see how repetitive, old and tiresome these plot devises get? I understand Eun Chan's need to be self-reliant and I admire her for it, but she can do everything she has her mind set on within a marriage too. What's the big deal? That said, Han Gyul needs to back down until she's ready. What's the rush really?

DWL! Han Kyul is such a tool...

OMG, I don't get this guy! lol

How many times has this man and Eun Chan played in water? How many times has he hugged her, touched her, looked at her from all different angles and he STILL can't tell she's a girl?!! Haha ... I guess his good looks really is his only asset. Anyway, I wish Eun Chan would stop this charade and tell the truth. If you love someone why put them true all that confusion and torture? I hope the gay story arc doesn't get taken too far to the point where it becomes absurd.

As for Han Sung and Yoo Jun ... who condones their boyfriend hanging out with another woman like that? The guy even took Eun Chan to her art exhibition. Is this woman high?

Move on already!

Too much focus on the village lawsuit. It's boring. I want to see more of Guang Xi and Mu Cheng's relationship.

Good, but...

I'm glad the leads have officially met! Now the real drama can begin! :) I'm really liking the heroine so far. She's kinda airheady, but sassy at the same time. It's gonna take time for me to warm up to the hero because I don't find the actor who portrays him particularly attractive. So no "looks" brownie points to tide him over until his acting skills convince me to stop being a shallow beyotch. lol

One thing that does strike me as odd, however, is how calmly Boong Do reacts to his new surroundings. Wouldn't he suffer from a bit more, no scratch that, MAJOR culture shock having been thrust into an era so unimaginably different from his own? I think so...

Men ... #shakingmydamnhead

Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em!

So after Tæ Joo pimped himself out to the highest bidder he's upset that Eun Soo is getting married? I dislike this story arc as much as he does, but brother man brought this on himself. Each time he asked Eun Soo not to marry Joon Hyuk I kept waiting for her to tell him not to marry Hæ Lin because in essence she's just doing what he's doing.

I really have no idea how this is going to end! As of whatever it is I feel like I'm not going to like it...

Getting from bad to worse!

Spoiler ...

I can not believe Sae Hun is going to use Yoo Bin to get back at Seon Young! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr ... I HATE THIS MAN!!! When will he get his comeuppance? WHEN?

Yoen Hee ... why can't she just accept what she got and F... the hell off? For once I agree with what Sae Hun's mom did. I wish she would have had this bitch murdered or something. She just won't go away. She's like a parasite.

Eun Nim ... sigh. If this girl isn't careful I'm really going to start hating her. Her idea of dealing with the problem is to sneak off into the middle of the night without a word to anyone. Does Kang Ho really deserve that? For fuck's sake ... why can't she be HONEST for once!???

As the drama is drawing to a close it should be getting better, not worse!

Bullsh*t episode

Spoilers ahead ...

It seems everything about this episode annoyed me.

Eun Nim is getting on my last damn nerve. She's as interesting as a wet noodle. If she isn't shedding tears over some shit, she's bending over backwards to please the elders who treat her like crap. This woman only ever has one expression on her face ... one of perpetual misery. I'm getting tired of it and her. I'm starting to think a great, outgoing, optimistic husband like Kang Ho is wasted on this woman.

That little kid is always around her. They should really get him his own crib or his own room & stop letting him sleep in his guardians beds. Kang Ho keeps complaining about this & he has a right to! It's not only annoying him, it's annoying me too. It's not good for a newly married couple to be disrupted by a little kid sleeping in their bed, between them, every night. As a matter of fact it's not good for any marriage ... new or old. The man will stray ... as he did in the case of that bastard Sae Hun (although in the grand scheme of things that's never an excuse). Is this how it really is in Korea or is this just for dramatic effect?

Moreover, why all the needless secrecy? It's like the default reaction for everyone to everything is to keep things a secret from people who have a right to know. Eun Nim should tell Kang Ho about her past. Why she insists on hiding it is bloody stupid & makes no damn sense. It seems she feels comfortable confiding in everyone EXCEPT her husband! Frustrating...

Second, why the F... did Yoen Hee not only answer Sae Hun's phone when she knows what's going on, but also agreed to meet his mother???? WTF? Why would any sensible mistress in their right mind do that shit? God this woman is like thorn in the lives of everyone. I wish she'd just die!

And Sae Hun ... god, this man is just terrible. He can't seem to stop crossing paths with that little bitch, Yeon Hee. And how dare he feels he has the right to be upset at his wife Seon Young when it wasn't long after she took him back he was running back to Yoen Hee?! How dare he? He should be doing everything so that Seon Yong can trust him again yet all he ever does is act high and mighty like he didn't do anything wrong.

This man is just despicable beyond words. It pisses me off that everyone around Seon Young is telling her to ignore what he did and not seek a divorce. If ever there was a good reason for a woman to seek a divorce this is it. Sae Hun is a compulsive liar who has no qualms about raising his hand against a woman. He has no respect for his wife or his family. He doesn't deserve to live with anyone. He's an inconsiderate, arrogant jerk.

He and his mother are using Yoo Bin to bully Seon Young into coming back ... the nerve of these people. I want Seon Young to fight their asses to the bitter end, but unfortunately I don't think its gonna turn out that way. The whole damn thing leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Worst episode ever. For the first time I feel like I wanted to drop this drama. I feel like I wanted to bitch slap everyone.

I HATE Sae Hun

Spoiler ...

I'm not happy Seon Young is back with that old dog. I wanted her to divorce him! The lawyer already told her she would get Yoo Bin, so why did she go back. I honestly believe there's no changing men like Sae Hun. He obviously has very little respect for women in general. I don't think he has changed. I don't think he ever will. A small part of me had hoped he can be reformed somehow, but I'm starting to realize that he's not, and never was, a good person at all. To think that he has the gal to initiate sex then get upset when she refuses. Bitch! I really hate this guy.

Eun Nim is starting to get on top of my nerves with her all her good girl sweetness. I mean she's a married woman now ... why is she still afraid of even mentioning sex around her husband? Grrr...

And why is she always getting upset at Kang Ho for the silliest of reasons? Why does she get upset at Kang Ho for sticking up for her? I mean those blasted elders treat her more like a maid than a daughter-in-law!
