Phenomenal
Short review:This series was amazing. The acting absolutely blew me away. You can feel all the emotions being portrayed. Every scene felt like it had a purpose in the show. The characters felt raw and real. I loved pretty much every moment of this show. I would be happy to rewatch it and I highly recommend.

Short review:I really loved this series. In it we follow two couples. The first couple - I found this story refreshing actually because both boys like eachother from the start but have different reasons not to date which is what creates the conflict.
The second couple - I really like where their story ended up, and I like that it covered those feelings of insecurity a lot of us have in our relationships.
All in all I recommend it and would be happy to rewatch.

Serious Expectations VS Hilarious Reality
I REALLY WANTED a proper decent BL musical and I didn't get it at all.I thought this series had so much potential, there were glaringly obvious things that they could have changed to make it better, which was disappointing.
I'm not sure how low budget this series was though, so I have to take that into account.
The acting was mostly terrible, to the point it was hilarious. Adrian (Prince Zeyn) was purely there for eyecandy. Eurwin (Mikey) was the stronger actor and singer. There were a couple of songs I liked, but the rest didn't stand out. Sometimes the songs felt like they came out of nowhere and were kind of jarring. Its just so bad, its actually kinda.... great.
SO AFTER THROWING EXPECTATIONS out the window, I strapped in for the wild ride and found the BL themed Disney style musical actually enjoyable. I really felt like the cast was having fun, and so was I. It was cringey, silly, cheesy, embarrassing and funny.
I won't rewatch this, but I didn't feel the series was a complete waste of my time and gave me a good laugh and a couple of catchy songs.
And maybe one day soon I'll get the BL musical I desire.

I normally enjoy a BL with a music theme, and Tae Yi is such nice eyecandy (Ji Ho Geun, call me anytime), but rating this one was difficult for me.
I loved that the music theme was jazz here, as that's different from the normal rock, pop or indie.
The last kiss was beautifully done and gave me all the butterflies.
Se Heon and Tae Yi had a cute dynamic in their good moments.
However at the same time both Joo Han, and Tae Yi were major red flags and I don't think the reasons that were given were justifiable, or made either character redeemable in my eyes.

This is a more mature BL than usual, where the characters are around their 30's and I'm here for that. I enjoyed the story, although I felt it was quite simplistic and a tad cliche. I would have liked to see the characters a little more fleshed out, but it is a short quick series.
I definitely fell in love with Miyata-san, with his quiet strength and sassy moments. I found I was always cheering him along, I wish we had more characters like this in BL.

Enjoyably Thought-Provoking
This series really explores some interesting and difficult concepts and the way it's presented original and thought-provoking, I really wish there were more BL's like this.Overall I enjoyed it but felt there were some moments where I was confused as to whether we were in the past or present.
Perhaps for me the show was a little too short, as I felt like I really wanted to dive deeper in to the characters and their motivations or lack thereof.
I really would have also liked more to happen between Yoon Dae and Cha Soo Hyuk, and I can relate to the people who were disappointed about the lack of BL while watching it.
I thought Jang Woo Young was amazing in this, his eyes conveyed so much without him saying anything!
Lee Jae Bin was also good but after watching him in Choco Milk Shake, I really missed his smile.
I recommend this show if you like things left open to interpretation like I do, you enjoy something thought-provoking, and you are happy to watch a BL without much BL.
For me it was definitely worth watching and I would watch again.

Give it a shot, you never know
- I will just preface this review by saying that I knew going into this show that it wasn't a proper sequel to I Am Your King Season 1 (which I enjoyed) so I was able to look at this show as completely separate -I'm torn with this rating. I found the show raised some interesting thoughts, but I don't think it dived into them enough. The fact that it didn't dive into them enough also left a lot open for interpretation, which I actually liked - I know, I know, I'm about as ambivalent as some of the characters on this show!
Contrary to what some reviewers said I didn't mind the ending. It felt like a full circle to me and left me imagining that the characters could restart their relationships in a positive and mature way.
Imagination aside though, the ending felt like pretty much left everything unresolved, and it would have been better to have all of the loose ends tied up rather than leave it up to the viewer.
I found the series quite cliche in places (can we do something else other than toxic women, please?) and there were some scenes I found weird or outright hated (for instance Sib talking about his girlfriend in the engineering lab - it's 2019 not 1902; and then that weird scene with three boys in Sib's bedroom), but that's my personal choice, and obviously not everyone would dislike those.
There were a lot of homophobic people in this series, that seemed to have no explained reason to be that way, or in one case changed their stance for no explained reason. In fact, a lot of people did things that weren't explained at all or were contradictory. I would have preferred more explanation.
Overall the series wasn't terrible but it definitely isn't high on my list of enjoyable BL's although if it was written better, it certainly could have been. My recommendation is to try it because its worth a shot.

If you like NSFW scenes...
This is just a short quick review:If you like NC scenes, this might be a series for you to feast your eyes on in a few parts. But truthfully, I didn't like this one much at all.
I found the plot was boring and so slow in places, I fast fowarded through chunks of the later episodes.
Bomb and J's romance was far more interesting to me than Sky and Venus, and probably the only reason I kept watching.
Finally, please tell me who the heck even ran that 7/11 properly? No wonder the business wasn't going well.

If you like awkward and weird shows
I always enjoy when a series can create a character that is weird but the weirdness is endearing, and for me Blossom Campus is one of those. Our first proper introduction to Yoon Chan, he laughs really loudly for no reason in the library and Minjae scolds him. I loved this so much and anyone who is socially awkward like me probably relates to moments like this as well. I enjoy that it just shows how awkward Yoon Chan is without hitting us over the head with it.I really love the small almost unnoticeable guestures of love early on, and when MinJae holds Yoon Chan's face on the roof, and then drops his hands to his lap and Yoon Chan grabs them... for me this moment is perfect. This just spoke volumes without saying a word and its fantastic. I think this is one of my favourite lead ups to a kiss.
The actual kissing scenes were perfect, and I definitely thought that these two had chemistry. The vibe of being young and in love felt very believable.
However on the flip side, some of the scenes felt like they dragged on for a long time, and there didn't really feel like there was much of a plot. Some scenes also had continuation errors which ruined the emmersion.
Reading the reviews post show, people mentioned the campus felt empty, and for me personally, that only added to the overall awkward vibe in a good way.
I agree the love rival seemed a bit pointless and pushing him in there made me feel like this show would be much more interesting with all of them as a throuple (seriously, why don't we have more throuples?).
They did leave the show on a cliffhanger so I'm unsure if they were planning another season...
To wrap up, I actually enjoyed this one, however I can understand why other people didn't as the weird and awkward indie type of films I enjoy are generally not well rated.

It could have been better
The show started out strong but then got slower and slower as each eisode went on to the point I found myself wanting to not finish this, which is sad because I felt like that show had potential. The final episode was honestly a mission to watch through and took me a number of days to find the motivation to finish.Outside of revealing plot points or drama to move the plot forward, there were so many scenes that were lackluster. Scenes among the friends had no proper conversation or banter, and didn't build character depth, and some scenes felt especially long and drawn out for no reason.
The show relied on a lot of flashbacks to build backstory for Him and Blue, but many of them felt pointless, and at times even confusing, and weirdly in or out of sequence. Plus on completing the show I really feel like Blue was introduced to create shallow drama and really didn't give much to the story at all.
The motivations for the antagonists seemed one dimensional and not well fleshed out due possibly to lack of character depth. I want to note that I mean ALL motivations for the antagonists, this includes Te's switching of love interests as well. And there were far too many issues that were resolved too quickly and easily after making so much drama throughout the series.
I could not relate nor enjoy the romance between the secondary BL couple as I found the relationship cringy and annoying, and I didn't understand why or how the two could be attracted to or interested in eachother.
For the third BL couple I feel like Te's love interest came in too late, and should have been a bonus episode rather than included in the show.
I also don't understand why we actually didn't see more of the other romances throughout the entirety of the show, perhaps this was due to editing but I think these could have been used to break up some of the long slow scenes.
Some things were just over-the-top like Type's big face off with Chao, and some of the later NC scenes - hint: they really put their foot in it.
Finally, I also understand for some people it can be difficult to keep the exact same tone of blonde for several weeks/months, but the fact that I could tell order the scenes were filmed in based on regrowth really ruined my viewer experience.
All that being said, I really enjoyed the earlier NC scenes and the flirting between the main couple during the first couple of episodes, and those scenes at least are worth a watch in my opinion. I really love to see a strong and sassy uke in a BL.
The Charlie's Angels scene, I thought was fun, and I would also like to quickly mention that I appreciated the girl group supported Nail, rather than being the antagonists like in many other shows.
The biggest thing that kept me watching was Ryan (Dream) in this, his smile makes me smile every time.
Overall this particular show won't be one I'll rewatch or recommend unless someone wants to watch the first few episodes for the NC scenes.

Love for Love's Sake

I loved this series so much! The plot felt very unique, which was certainly refreshing. I loved the ease of the interactions between the characters, it felt so natural. And when drama happened it felt well-explained and even relatable. This series had me giggling, even blushing in the good moments and bawling my eyes out in the bad moments, which for me is a great measure of a good series. I wholeheartedly recommend this series, and hope you can find the love that I found in it.
