Even I'm not sure if I liked it or not.
Okay, let me tell you first thing it's typical kdrama filled with full of chlichès, lots of cringy moments, and the really heartbreaking love triangle. So if you are finding something different than this then it's not the right place but it does have so many hilarious scenes that'll make your stomach hurt, the bromance though it's not much even little is amazing, and also some character development. The first episode isn't that impressive cause it's just built up the base and also explores Ju Kyung's backstory. Then it gets more interesting and hilarious the tension between Seo Jun and Soo Ho was great to watch, okay till this I was enjoying the show but then it's just changed its genre to melodrama with the typical evil second female lead. I was liking that character very much, they messed up with her character and then I was pissed with this.
Seeing Han Seo Jun getting hurt was almost heartbreaking to see. I'm not against the pair it was sure from the start that who's with she's gonna end up and she never had romantic feelings towards Seo Jun but the thing is why do you have to drag the whole love triangle until the last episode there was no need of it. Still, I'm happy that Seo Jun at least pursued his dream so it's not always necessary to get the girl, in the end, it's okay to let him be single than pairing him with any random girl in the very last episode. So I'm happy for him.
The thing I really liked was the character development in Ju Kyung in the last she accepted herself it was the best thing. The side characters especially their friends and the secondary couple was amazing. I really like the second half of the last episode it was really good.
Overall it was okay for me not something amazing but it's an entertaining rom-com. Not must watch for me...
Warning: If you decided to watch this then prepare yourself for SLS it's really overbearing here.
P.s: I'm now head over heels for Han Seo Jun gosh he's so perfect.

The Perfect Definition of 'Thriller'
A drama that never fails to surprise you, giving you unexpected twists and turns, to the extent that the unpredictableness of the plot becomes predictable. This would be a perfect explanation for this masterpiece. Suspense, thriller, and mystery keep you at the edge of your seat wanting more and never be satisfied with one episode. I loved it for sure! For me, it's the perfect definition of the thriller genre. The twists and surprises we get at the end of every episode were really brilliant, the ending of every episode to be a cliffhanger leaving many unanswered questions behind I guess it is its specialty.Story: It's very well written and well-executed, nothing here is draggy or unnecessary. I was hooked from the very 1st episode. Kudos to the writer for doing really great job as we don't get big loopholes in the plot and also its execution. The leads aren't perfect have their flaws but that's the strong point here. Both have a shady character which makes us suspicious about them. 'Never Trust Anyone' its motto. Having every character be suspicious, you wonder every time who might be the killer and what could be the reason. At one point you thought you are going in the right direction... but you never know what can happen next. So I guess keeping us in the dark till the moment of truth is really big astonishment as we can never predict what really happened.
Acting/Cast: Okay let the remaining cast aside coz I was just focused on our leads Lee Dong Shik (Shin Ha Kyun) and Han Joo Won (Yeo Jin Goo) they were phenomenal, I didn't even bother to look elsewhere whenever this pair was on screen. Specially Shin Ha Kyun's acting impressed me I never noticed him before but this time he truly nailed it. The acting, the emotions portrayed by both of them made this show more perfect. The chemistry and tension between them is the key point of the show. Haha, both remind me of Tom and Jerry. ;D
Cinematography: It was indeed great and beautiful, every shot was kind of perfection also the camera angle's light effect made it look shadier and perfect thriller vibes from the looks. So for me, there was nothing wrong with cinematography I also got some beautiful screenshots through some episodes.
Soundtrack: Well it does have some beautiful OSTs which makes it more perfect. I loved The Night especially, it's my favorite among these. Not just the OSTs but the background sound effects are great. Though sometimes you feel like wait... what? This is an intense/emotional scene and the background music is totally different?! But that's one of the special things about this drama!
So it nailed it in Story, Acting, Cinematography, Soundtrack there's nothing here that wasn't perfect for this show, one of the best thrillers so far. Definitely, a must-watch, give it try sure you won't regret it.
It'll make Eager to know the mystery - What happened? And why?

The tail of nine tailed
It was started very well it was really good until 13 episodes but I think it's being the trend of 2020 drama to mess up in the last very episodes but thank god we got a happy ending here rather than an open ending. I really felt bad for Rang I only cried once in the whole drama and it was when he sacrificed himself but I can't say that I don't approve of it because he had killed many people before so it was like balancing but yeah it was sad indeed but it's good to see how he got a family and he will have a happy childhood that he missed. So talking about the story as a title tells its story of a nine-tailed fox who waited for his first love for 600 years just to being reincarnated. Basically, it's a love story but it has a thriller, suspense factor here, and don't forget it is about supernatural beings so anything can happen. It was a good story well written but it was kind of predictable and would love it if they have created a stronger female lead than you know knight saving beauty always.
The acting was good there are many controversies about female leads acting but I personally liked it she played both characters very well (It would a spoiler if I told you what is meaning of both characters so see it yourself). But my most fav character was Lee Rang yep I totally loved it and loved the bromance between Leon and Rang than the romance between Jia ah and Leon their chemistry was top-notch. I also loved the second couple it was very cute to see them together and of course that little cutie.
It was a full package if you like some thriller action and suspense dramas with romance also you won't be disappointed by this drama. The main thing is it has a very happy ending
Overall the drama was good I won't say it is best ( It had potential in the starting ) because there are many plot holes in it and you don't get the reason for the very last scene it will make you confused (It made me confuse). But it's watchable drama you won't feel 16hours to be wasted.

Damn it was confusing.
Gosh it was weird, I mean really weird. The whole story was a quite a lot mess and the concept also though I liked that little girl she was so cute and the visuals of actors are good. First of all how he become father of them it was weirdest plot. Okay you made them their dad then what's with the romantic feelings lol... Oops it's genre is romance so you can show romance even with nothing. So then they both develop out of nowhere okay it was his love at first sight but what about her when did she started to like him and why? Ah I really bad for her friend....So overall even it's just a short web drama I don't recommend it.

Though I'll admit the main couple is kinda cute and acting from them is promising as Landy Li can always pull out that cute adorable role and Niu Jun Feng may seem stiff and robotic throughout the whole show but that is what his character is made up... I adored Cheng Yi's character a lot... but other than that nothing impressed me or even make it worth watching, as the story forwards in a vague direction every time.
I don't get why dramas have to glamorize every profession? Like from when Go players are treated like celebrities or idols for fangirling... or news anchors make scandals for drinking or going to club or spending their time with whomever they want. It doesn't make any sense... The whole fingerprint thing was nonsensical, and why they have to make a lead who's just soooo surreal almost not relatable at any point, but then yes male lead should be the most intelligent and smartest person alive where female lead clumsy, naive, and the innocent type who isn't even par to male leads aura. Ah, that kinda sucks.
Maybe I would have appreciated it if they made Sheng Jing Chu more human-like, not LEGEND... I mean his girlfriend calls him legend all the time, doesn't he deserve some human-like treatment?
As of the fact, this is 41 episodes so sure it takes a time to get leads together... both being adorable I did enjoy their time and moments together. But apart from the leads side couples were a bit off for me, I wasn't rooting for anyone lol Yu Da is mood but he's just childish and so immature and I was annoyed by his actions most of the time. Xu Chi was just so trying to fit in the mold of perfect which made him a bit stiff and unreachable. I guess Xi He would be the only one... I enjoyed seeing him on screen every time, I also liked his moody style changing so every time he looks like a whole new person with a different persona.
The production value or quality doesn't matter to me most of the time, as a strong story is more than enough than beautiful cinematography. But when you try to do some-not-really-needed-but-just-for-visuals-things do it properly. The whole graphic thing during Go matches was poorly done... it almost felt like if I'm watching any cheap animation movie without any context.
In conclusion, it's nothing unique or delivers something that's out of the box.. you have a lot of free time and the ability to turn off your brain for some time then you can give it a try at your own risk.

Not something special.
The fact I'm watched this movie without any expectation is turned out well cause there is nothing so special and admirable in it, it's 'typical' cliche Bad boy and Good girl love story which usually turned as always that the boy wasn't bad always and don't forgot there is also past connection here so these cliches made me cringe. How can you think of your uncle with romantic feelings that was really disgusting part of the story, I also don't get the reason of uncle was against there relationship. The story wasn't well written, execution could have been much better, I didn't liked the acting that much.
Overall the movie was quite a mess, it's okay to watch if you have too much free time or if you are big fan of leads, but I won't recommend it..

See You In My 19th Life

And the life goes on....
I'm pretty disappointed... it wasn't that bad but maybe I was expecting more. I adore Shin Hye Sun she always brings her best and lives her character but she couldn't save the show for me.The main problems would be scriptwriting, characterization, and timing. For me the story wasn't engaging enough, so many things happened at the wrong time which didn't leave you any time to digest it. I didn't like the characterization of the leads at all... it almost felt like they had no depth especially considering Ban Ji Eum's character who supposedly lived 19 lives. Still, you see the no ounce of maturity that she should have from the get-go her character was so unlikable, clingy, and even unbearable at a time I was legit feeling second embarrassment through the screen. For Seo-Ha he was just uninteresting, there's literally nothing that stood out to me from 12 episodes, and don't bring why there should be something? coz after all it is drama so I expect that I should feel emotionally connected at least to the leads.... and with this duo romance was boring as heck... the chemistry was missing. I didn't even feel that anticipation of them getting together.
On the other hand, I quite adored the relationship Ji Eum had with the sister and niece it was heartwarming. Their interactions gave that warmth and depth to relationships that have. I think the overall romance was quite bland and the second couple was the worst of all times. I couldn't find a single reason why these two people like each other, seemed like the writer wanted to have a secondary couple and was left with no options apart from these two? so let's just force it upon us without any context and build up and expect us viewers to accept it coz we are dumb, right?
I would have appreciated it if her past lives were shown often rather than just some snippets here and there. They seemed way more interesting than the present. After watching the whole thing I still don't get why Seo-Ha was special to her apparently, the writer left that upon us to imagine and speculate.
I really hate when the first half is lousy and then we reach the rushed second half same thing happened here, there were so many things thrown in the last episodes and just too much going on... basically, the story lacked consistency.
Being tvN and Netflix production the cinematography, music, and sets were top notch just what you expect from such dramas... so there's nothing to be impressed of.
Shin Hye Sun did a great job, and Ahn Bo Hyun acted decently too, there was nothing wrong with the actors' performances just writing failed to give them that charm. And just my opinion and I didn't like them as a couple maybe visually (but that comes down to my preference).
At the end of the day... I'm not left with anything special to share about this drama. Everything was to say about what I thought could have been better... that's why it was just okayish drama... definitely not a must-watch or anything remarkable just another fantasy among dozens of the same genre.

Fall in Love with a Scientist
8 personnes ont trouvé cette critique utile
It's not just sooo cliche and tropey but also hella boring. There's nothing as plot or story, things characters are just thrown to you without any context, and everything is scattered. With hella unnecessary arcs and setbacks. It starts with chemistry eventually goes into biology.. then becomes medical, with a typical, stereotyped way to show how scientific research word.
How can I forget some there are quite a bit of very non-nonsensical scenes.. the 'gun' scene in the first episode, I wasn't sure if I should be laughing or crying at writers for taking viewers stupid.
I just checked genres apparently it's rom-com, wait.. comedy? is it there? I don't remember laughing even once :')
Now you may think when romance starts you'll at least have a bit of chemistry.. that you totally deserve from leads but it's opposite, there wasn't any, to begin with, but then it goes negative... the most cringy-est and uncomfortable scene, when you want to skip romantic scenes in rom-com.. is it any less than disaster?
So you've been in contact for 6 years apparently in 'love' and you don't know that person's any information even name? does it make any sense lol...
Our FL Bai Ling Ling what to say about her, she has no work ethic. She doesn't know what she wants... so if your goal is getting the job to make money, then you would hard work for that, right? at least won't screw up your thesis that your graduation depends on it. She's just so unbearable as her mood swings, or should I say personality swings. Girl, don't you value yourself a little bit? I mean who just forgive someone who was literally deceiving you all the time as if nothing happened, oof.
I don't think Zhou Yu Tong is any fit for this role lol... I just can't see her as a university student, specifically in this type of role.. she just doesn't fit. Plus her character is pretty bland almost no range in acting, so a waste of everything.
Oh gosh, Yang Lan Hang, I need to know what writers think when they create such 'High-IQ-but-No-EQ' characters, I mean intelligent people should at least have common sense, or be smart enough to figure out things.. even if they are socially awkward. I bet I've never encountered a confused character than him lol.. bruh what do you want? so you also want to have an online relationship with her but you also want her to like real you? and yet you get jealous of yourself.
The casting choice is wrong totally, Yu Tong and Jasper don't look a couple or compatible but they don't have on-screen chemistry too.
Almost all support roles are poorly written and pretty much useless. They don't even clear twin-thing for quite a while... which may lead you to have assumptions of DID (dissociative identity disorder). Side couples are pretty much uninteresting as their characters.
The first few episodes have choppy editing as if they didn't bother to put in any effort. Flashbacks, scene transitions are all over the place. Styling is just
so weird, I don't know what era suits Jasper is wearing but they look old.
In conclusion, I'll say. Don't watch it!
Whoa I'm writing the conclusion, when my whole review is screaming not to watch it xD

"Beauty is shadow of imperfections.... "
It's not perfect.... it lacks, in many ways. The plot isn't unique or out of the box, with the most uninteresting side couples (for me), annoying besties (whom suggestions suck, literally), very stereotypical second leads who don't know their place... ah, how can I forget bad dating advisors.. that you should stay miles away if you're interested in dating lol xD. Apart from this there are still some problems, but gotta say still I enjoyed it a lot.The charm of the drama lies.. in the main couple, and how smooth Dr. Gu is, honestly from the description I was prepared for some icy-cold, aloof, super-serious doctor... which he was for a bit, but later bruh how could you say you're not romantic with your high-level flirting skills, I wonder. The process of their relationship development was raw, natural... you can exactly point out why would Gu Wei is interested in Lin Zhixiao who hasn't even graduated yet, they have 9 yrs age-gap... but she's like the bright sun who lightens up everything, energetic, optimistic, hardworking, ready to face problems... in many ways exactly opposite to Gu Wei who often try to hide from problems, and that's why they complement each other very well.
Their chemistry is on fire, their interactions, how comfortable they are in each other's presence are soothing to watch.. and finally, a couple who talks, has a conversation to sort out things and just don't brush off problems as if they never existed though sometimes a little late... have to admit there were many moments I wondered it's acting or it's real?
Yang Zi did great job as LZX, specifically with serious scenes... her emotional outbursts, sometimes cute while sometimes heartbreaking. Xiao Zhan's micro expressions... his expressive/teary eyes got the essence of the character.. and thank god it wasn't overdubbed. The little theatre after every episode was cherry on the top... can this get any cuter?
I usually skip opening theme (due to spoilers), but I never did with this one.. reason? ost! the soothing and perfect starting of each episode. I love entire sound track.. songs are catchy, meaningful and suitable for the temperament of drama
Though some support characters have very cliche characterization.. such as FL's bestie, both second leads... but I liked the characterization of the parents, in the start, they don't come out very likable but some time later we understand their concerns are genuine. From some comments, I got to know that LZX's relationship with her parents was good in the novel... but I actually prefer the way it's portrayed in the drama... not lovey-dovey, the bickering one.. there's a saying (or maybe I made it up) 'We fight most with the people whom we love most.' And it's coming from personal experience lol.
I was prepared for melodrama, some super serious arcs, or a bit of tragedy (the prior synopsis gave the vibes) but as a result, I got many heart-fluttering, peak comedy moments... and I'm satisfied with what leads delivered together.

Tell me it ain’t so.. Joe?
Imagine having an ice-cream sundae with 8 different flavors. Each flavor has a different taste, texture sometimes even polar opposite to each other but the special thing about it is they compliment each other so well. It also has many delicious toppings... Crumbled cookies, chopped nuts, chocolate chips, tangy raspberry syrup, or if you prefer some caramel… and its unpredictableness it like the cherry on the top. This sounds like a whole mess right? But when you take one bite you’ll love it… and by the time of the last bite, it’s the tastiest ice-cream sundae you ever had.The concept-the core of the plot is bizarre (not really surprising for jdramas), who would have thought it’ll work. Having 8 characters as main leads and as any normal Jdrama just 10 episodes, it’s worrisome: how can everything be managed?... The screentime, character-their relationship development. Without rushing anything everything fits very well. And it’s not regular rom-com too, handling some psychological stuff, with the portrayal of emotions and lives of adults as Jeanie and Amrita already said it’s grown up, and an adult drama but it doesn’t mean the only adults can enjoy (considering my experience). I would consider it as evergreen drama as even after 12 yrs it’s still refreshing!
The soundtrack is just awesome. With oldies from the 70s like ‘Eternal Flame’ by The Bangles, Earth, Wind & Fire’s ‘Fantasy’ has that retro feel and vibe.
The most amazing part of it lies in its characters.
Ai-ai I would call her my first love here, I liked her from the moment I know her. She’s charming, smart, straightforward, she has a good sense of humor lol (I’m envious of such ladies) she isn’t perfect though, having some flaws too! but maybe she has everything that I try to find in female leads. As Ai-ai becomes my first love then O-chan would be love at first sight (ops technically second sight I loved him in Hana Yori Dango), not being shallow (?) but he just looks oo fine. And this isn’t just about looks he has that charisma in his character, his being imperfect would be my favorite thing about him. His personality has different shades some are hidden from the world. Ai-ai, O-chan were my favs from the very start, I even enjoyed their screentime together. But it wasn’t the case for everyone. Kei is who... I had the most complicated relationship lol, with many drama tropes: Hate-to-love, he had a bad first impression on me, I was even annoyed by his screentime... Then it turned into a slow burn, it took me a lot of time to understand him, how he does things, he just slowly grew upon me. Then at the end, I knew ah I love him (you can call it a rushed happy ending at the last minute). Masato-san maybe a roller coaster? there are many ups and downs I experienced with him, having that dark shade that makes his character appeal very mysterious… at one moment I felt I know him but in another, I never actually know who he is really.
Aside from liking them individually, what gave me the most pleasure was their friendship, the time they spend together.. the lounge time, and pajama parties.
It was unusual, bizarre, messy, and surprising… enjoyed every minute.
Yay! Panda
P.s: Sorry if I made you crave for ice-cream :')

Do monsters have more compassion than humans do?
I have mixed emotions about this season and I'm not sure how to feel about it. I was completely immersed in the first two episodes because they were amazing and emotionally wrecked me. I think the reason for this was the emotional attachment I felt towards the characters from the first season, which was very strong even though I watched it three years ago. The characters and their stories made the first season fabulous, and that's what I missed in this season. I was disappointed by the lack of emotional connection.I loved how the monster's perspective was presented in the show, which ironically made them more relatable than the humans. It kept me guessing about who was on the right side and who deserved to live and thrive. Instead of answering questions, this season left me with more confusion and questions. I disliked almost every new character introduced and they annoyed me. The story's pace was off in the middle of the drama, and almost nothing notable happened in between. Then, too many things were thrown into the mix all at once. This season had less blood than the first season. I remember my dad dropping the show after the first episode because of the amount of blood lol.
I missed some characters terribly, and that was a downside of the season.
The acting, music, and CGI were great, as expected from Netflix.
Though it didn't live up to first season, but it was enjoyable... if I just see it as an individual drama than the drama having a great first season. Some twists were really great and left me wanting to know more. Deifnitely waiting for next season as now I have wayyy many questions that needs be answered right now.

Okay hmm, flashbacks as a start... I don't like them but it's fine, they aren't taking much time. WHAT? wow, that's the first meeting of them. Toilet not pleasant place writer chose for the first encounter of our destined to together lead. So I don't read the synopsis but it seems rich girl and boy from an ordinary family story.
Lmao, I never thought I would lose my mind in the first five minutes of any show.. who does that? dancing wearing that costume in front of the whole college of your bf's graduation is so embarrassing lol. Okay at this point I was enduring it... but wait now I lost it she asked him to propose to her, girl this isn't the way to do this.. ah I don't think he is yet ready but how can he refuse in front of all people lol. Right after graduation isn't the right time to marry.. don't you have a career that will help you to have a stable life? Now it seems for FL marriage is the ultimate goal of her life #richspoiledbrat
10 minutes into the show.. damn FL is going overboard with her acting. Great! at least Yi Tian isn't cold this time, I was worrying that he might get hypothermia by his coldness every time (Please ignore my bad humor.. coz it sucks lol) well good to see he's smiling and yeah not stereotyped ML ops I forgot to mention he loves money.
OH NO, but I see that coming... his friend lend him a suit as he is going to meet her father of course something is going to happen right? his attire is ruined.. now someone fainted on road, how can we expect him not to help? even if there are dozens of people around just watching not even calling the ambulance.. wait is this person I see is he her dad?
Daebak! my instincts were right... it's her dad. Ah, misunderstanding a bad first impression as a future son-in-law lol.
He lost his friend's suit... I'm feeling bad for his friend lol. Poor him he used his whole year's savings to buy it... lmao I guess his friend isn't lucky he just helped a guy to confess to his girlfriend, I'm cracking up everyone now eating together after that mess and happily xD
LOL, the ending of the episode.
Okay so my thoughts after the first episode, as this was live commentary lol.
Starting was sure whole mess, they had a series of misfortune in just one episode. It's my first time seeing FL not that impressed by her acting but I'll let it pass as it's just one episode. Talking about Yi Tian it's good to see him out of the coldness as I said before. Well, we are missing all processes of falling in love, as the story direct jumps on the proposal. I'm foreseeing many misunderstandings and breakups plus 47 episodes making me worried lol at a first glance this doesn't seem to be my cup of tea, better not continue anymore.
