1. Mr. Sunshine
Korean Drama - 2018, 24 episodes
11/10 — High quality production. Great Acting. Good Script.
The .5 deduction from my initial rating was because it felt slow in the middle that’s why I put it on-hold for some time. But right decision to go back. The story picks up again! It’s one of the best korean entertainment has ever put out!

2. Prison Playbook
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
I initially watched this for Kang Seungyoon because I really like WINNER. But I enjoyed it so much. I stayed even when his character left already. This has to be one of the funniest kdramas! And it’s also a suberb slice of life drama!

3. Signal
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
9.75/10 — A great procedural crime show!
I wished to have a 2nd season for so long but thinking about it I hated the ending of the first season. the writer not being brave enough to lose a main character, using fantastical element to save him, ruined the last bit.

5. Kingdom
Korean Drama - 2019, 6 episodes
I used to not give a fuck about zombie dramas / movies. I personally don’t find them frightening. But SK knows how to deliver a well written and produced zombie show/film.
I watched this twice or thrice already. I commend it in all aspects. The cliff hanger deserves a round of applause!

6. The Crowned Clown

The cast delivered their roles flawlessly! Yeo Jingoo is a force to be reckoned with. He really grew into a highly skilled actor. That scene of the king and the clown’s meeting is forever etched in my brain. It’s so iconic!

9. Goong
Korean Drama - 2006, 24 episodes
Exploring the idea of Korean monarchy still existing in modern time. Arranged Marriage. Cohabitation. Royal ML x Commoner FL. Grumpy ML x Sunshine FL. Enemies to Lovers.
Looking back, the creatives of this drama doesn’t fall behind with what we have right now. It has beautiful set design, styling esp wardrobe, and cinematography! Script might not hold up in the societal standards of today but this makes me nostalgic. This is my comfort watch and I rewatch it the most out of all in this list.
