Top Favorite Chinese Dramas

I have to be careful when it comes to starting a Chinese drama. Why? Think about it, you'll be investing some 30 to 40 hours of your time watching these 30 to 40 episodes of a Chinese drama only to find out it's a bad ending, bad writing, or just a bad story direction in general.

A typical Chinese drama usually have the following which I really despised.

• Evil characters (whether secondary or support) who gets away with their evil deeds (goes unpunished)
• Male lead and/or female lead suffers too much
• An evil mother/mother in-law (sometimes evil father)
• A stupid problem that occurs in the final 5 to 10 episodes of a drama
• Too much misunderstandings that doesn't get resolved until the very end
• Male lead and female lead only gets like happy last episode while throughout the drama they suffered

If the dramas doesn't have any of these or these don't play a big role in a Chinese drama, then I will consider giving it a go. Even if a few of these exist, if the main leads can support each other well enough, it may still be an okay/good drama. So here are the Chinese dramas that I considered as good or great so far.
