New Recruit Season 2 portrays the lively life in the barracks when Corporal Park Min Seok (played by Kim Min Ho) faces an unexpected challenge with the arrival of Platoon Leader Oh Seung Yoon. The series is based on a mega-hit animation of the same name that gained massive popularity on the YouTube channel "STUDIO JBBJ," with a cumulative view count of 250 million. It garnered enthusiastic responses from viewers of all genders and generations due to its realistic portrayal of strong-willed characters, delightful comedy, and genuine empathy.

New face Kim Ji Suk joins the show to enhance the powerful entertainment in New Recruit Season 2. Among the excitement, the character still of FM Company Commander Oh Seung Yoon, newly appointed to the legendary unit, is revealed, igniting even greater anticipation. With his sharp military appearance and resolute gaze, Oh Seung Yoon exudes an untouchable charisma. His unwavering composure after long marches makes him the embodiment of a steel soldier.
