Kwon Hyuk Confirmed to Star in "Evilive," Meeting Shin Ha Kyun and Kim Young Kwang

On September 26, Kwon Hyuk's management agency announced, "Kwon Hyuk has been cast in the Genie TV original drama Evilive. We ask for your keen interest."

Evilive is a Genie TV original drama directed by Kim Jung Min, known for producing Netflix's Remarriage and Desires and OCN's Bad Guys. It tells the story of a struggling lawyer who encounters an ultimate villain and transforms into an elite villain. The drama is highly anticipated as it follows Genie TV's well-received content lineup, including Pale Moon, Lies Hidden in My Garden, and Not Others.

With an impressive cast lineup that includes Shin Ha Kyun, Kim Young Kwang, and Shin Jae Ha, Evilive has generated high expectations. In the drama, Kwon Hyuk will play the role of Chul Jin, a sharp and righteous detective, adding depth to the storyline.

Kwon Hyuk, known for his intense acting skills, has showcased his diverse talents in works such as Cheer Up, Remarriage and Desires, The Uncanny Counter, Link: Eat, Love, Kill, Café Minamdang, and Finland Papa.

Notably, in the recently concluded drama Payback: Money and Power, which aired in February, he received recognition for portraying Lee Soo Dong, an accomplished corporate lawyer with a background as a prosecutor.

Evilive is set to premiere on October 14 on Genie TV, Genie TV Mobile, and ENA.
