"Exhuma" Invited to 48th Hong Kong International Film Festival + Surpasses 7 Million Moviegoers

Exhuma has been invited to another international film festival. 

Showbox announced on March 8 that Exhuma has been officially invited to the Gala section of the 48th Hong Kong International Film Festival. 

Alvin Choo, program curator at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, stated, "Exhuma, which ingeniously combines various elements of horror films, also reflects the history and family values rooted in various Asian cultures." He further commented, "Not only does it possess remarkable technical finesse, but the actors also deliver exceptional performances," adding, "From the perspective of bringing innovation to the genre, Exhuma showcases the creative efforts of Korean filmmakers." 

Exhuma was also invited to the 74th Berlin International Film Festival and received positive reviews. Anticipation grows as the K-movie awaits a response from the Asian audience, particularly in Hong Kong. 

In other news, Exhuma retains its top spot at the box office as it garnered 243,242 moviegoers on March 8. The total number of moviegoers has reached approximately 7,009,998.
