Check in Hanyang revolves around Yongcheonru, the largest guesthouse in Joseon, which operates under the motto "The guest is king," and it follows the young interns — Lee Eun Ho (Bae In Hyuk), Hong Deok Su (Kim Ji Eun), Chun Jun Hwa (Jung Gun Joo), and Go Soo Ra (Park Jae Chan) — who begin to work there for their own personal reasons.
Extraordinary You actor Jung Gun Joo plays Chun Jun Hwa, the only son of the guesthouse's owner, Taesang Bang Ju (Kim Eui Sung). Heir to Yongcheonru, Chun Jun Hwa joins the guesthouse as an intern, where he grows alongside Lee Eun Ho (Bae In Hyuk), Hong Deok Su (Kim Ji Eun), and Go Soo Ra (Park Jae Chan).
In the first still, he exudes elegance in his neat attire and commanding presence, befitting the heir to Joseon's largest guesthouse.
In another still, he is shown sitting alongside his peers as an intern. Despite the demanding and chaotic daily routine of an intern, Chun Jun Hwa's clear and innocent gaze steals the spotlight, and his composure doubles his charm.
Then there is Go Soo Ra (Park Jae Chan), who enters Yongcheonru, as an intern with the ambition of restoring his family's honor. His goal is to become a permanent employee, reclaim his family's honor, and achieve success.
The first still captures Go Soo Ra on his first day at Yongcheonru. His eyes, gleaming with ambition, convey his unwavering determination to succeed in the guesthouse.
Despite being a model intern, Go Soo Ra's life at Yongcheonru isn't all smooth sailing. He ends up sharing a room with Yongcheonru's troublemaking trio — Lee Eun Ho (Bae In Hyuk), Hong Deok Su (Kim Ji Eun), and Chun Jun Hwa (Jung Gun Joo).
Go Soo Ra, who also speaks his mind, occasionally finds himself in conflict with his superiors. The last still shows him confronting his senior Bang Sa Seon (Kim Yun Bae), raising curiosity about what happened between them and whether Go Soo Ra can overcome such conflicts to become a permanent employee.
