Shin Seung Ho is confirmed to star in Jung Woo's first directorial film
The upcoming youth romance movie You Are the Apple of My Eye will officially premiere in Korean theatres next month.
On January 16, the official poster of You Are the Apple of My Eye starring B1A4's Jung Jin Young and TWICE's Kim Da Hyun was released. The poster also confirmed that the movie will be available in Korean theaters starting on February 21.
You Are the Apple of My Eye will reveal the first love and a young romance between the school's troublemaker and a model student who has to monitor the troublemaker. It will be the Korean version of the 2011 Taiwanese film You Are the Apple of My Eye. The story will be depicted from the novel of the same name by Jiu Ba Dao.
The movie was also officially invited to the 29th Busan International Film Festival, held on October 2, 2024, even before its premiere date.
Jung Jin Young will play the role of Jin U. He is a troublemaker in school but will eventually mature as he experiences his first love. The idol actor is currently starring in the K-drama Who Is She. He will also join the upcoming series Summer Vacation.
Kim Da Hyun will give life to the character named Seon Ah, she is a role model who is known for her grace and beauty. Every person in her class has a crush on her but also thinks she is like an unattainable dream. This will be the debut film of Kim Da Hyun. After this movie, she will also star in the upcoming movie Run to You and K-drama Love Me.
Aside from Jung Jin Young and Kim Da Hyun, the movie will also star Lee Min Goo, DEMIAN, and Kim Yo Han.
You Are the Apple of My Eye will be the next work of director Jo Young Myung.
