Actor Kim Woo Bin Cast as the Lead in Director Kim Joo Hwan's Film “Martial Arts Officer”

According to a report by Sports News on the 13th, Kim Woo Bin has received an offer to appear in director Kim Joo Hwan's upcoming film Martial Arts Officer. It is currently finalizing the casting.

Martial Arts Officer will be the latest project of director Kim Joo Hwan, known for directing films such as The Divine Fury, Midnight Runners, and the Netflix series D.P.  The film is expected to depict the story of a contracted martial arts practitioner within the Ministry of Justice who closely manages ankle monitor wearers, assists probation officers, and suppresses verbal and physical violence using martial arts techniques.

Kim Woo Bin recently gained attention for his charismatic performance as the character 5-8 in the Netflix series Black Knight, released on the 12th of last month. He also has the upcoming release of the second part of the film Alienoid.' After Black Knight, Kim Woo Bin swiftly decides on his next project and generates anticipation for the character he will portray in Martial Arts Officer.

Meanwhile, the Martial Arts Officer casting process is underway, and the film is scheduled to begin production in the latter half of this year.
