"A Good Day to Be a Dog" Starring Cha Eun Woo and Park Gyu Young Confirms Broadcast!

On the 22nd, MBC confirmed that the popular webtoon-based drama A Good Day to Be a Dog will be scheduled for one episode every Wednesday.

A Good Day to Be a Dog is a fantasy romance drama that follows the story of Han Hae Na, a woman cursed to transform into a dog upon kissing, and Jin Seo Won, the only person who can break the curse but is afraid of dogs. Based on the webtoon of the same name, the drama is known for its unique concept and unexpected twists in its strong storyline.
Park Gyu Young, who has showcased her versatile acting skills in various genres through works like Celebrity and Sweet Home, takes on the role of Han Hae Na, the protagonist afflicted by the curse. Cha Eun Woo, who has built his character through numerous works like Island and My ID Is Gangnam Beauty, plays Jin Seo Won, intertwined with Han Hae Na's fate but fears dogs.

Additionally, Lee Hyun Woo, who has displayed a wide range of acting in projects like Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area and films like Dream and Hero, takes on the role of Lee Bo Gyeom. This character hides a mysterious side behind a gentle smile. This star-studded cast is already increasing the anticipation of prospective viewers.

This isn't the first time MBC has scheduled a once-a-week drama in the middle of the week. They previously garnered attention with the Korean original SF anthology series SF8, which transcended the boundaries of film and drama genres and was boldly scheduled for one episode per week. Last year, they presented the rural mystery drama Hunted as a once-a-week series, receiving praise for its dense storytelling and well-crafted direction. In addition, MBC has broken the formula of sitcoms as daily dramas by presenting sitcom dramas like Dae Jang Geum Is Watching and Borg Mom once a week.

Meanwhile, A Good Day to Be a Dog finished all filming in April and is now in the post-production phase.
