A treasure in its own way!
Why is it called Takara’s Treasure? I have my guesses.Takara has fond memories of his grandfather taking him out for a Ramune soda and getting to keep the marble after he finishes his drink. But to Takara’s mother who vies for riches and expensive jewellery, marbles are not valuable even though they can be sparkly.
Takara enjoys holding a marble up to the light and seeing the universe within a glass circle. It’s his way of seeking beauty and hope in the simplest of things. The point that this show makes is that the notion of ‘treasure’ is highly subjective and personal. The very same marble is both treasure and garbage.
When Takara looks into Taishin’s eyes, he sees himself reflected in his eyes – as glassy, shiny and pretty as marbles.
Ultimately, it’s down to Takara to prove that he sees Taishin as his kind of treasure. Just like the marble in the Ramune soda bottle.

super cute
First of all I’ve already read the manga, so i was super excited for the live action, it was cute nothing much changed. the cast did so well to my opinion. And this is just a personal preference, but i wish something more happened.. for me it was too bland like i wish there was something more. and i felt like the ending was confusing, it felt like it should’ve more episodes but they decided to end it here… anyway it’s a series that you’ll whatch and be like “that was cute” and move on.Cet avis était-il utile?
Mediocre japanese romance series, sweet but too predictable
The series takes place in a college setting. After watching a number of similar Japanese series in recent years, I can still say that it is getting a bit boring and repetitive with the same theme over and over again. Soon it becomes difficult to tell them apart. Many japanese BL series with almost the same plot: A very shy and nerdy guy, grown up but who behaves as if he were 12 years old, falls in love with a very handsome guy a few years older who takes care of him. A series of misunderstandings that make them almost drift apart, but they end up together anyway. If you have a few hours to spare and want to watch something easy to digest, you can binge watch it. But if you miss it, it doesn't matter, there will probably be many similar series again.

Repetitive
At first I though the first 4 episodes were cute but I got bored after that. Since it's Like only 10 episodes, they could've shown much more significant things rather than eating curry, the mom having an accident, the several walking lol, etc. They could have delved deeper with Takara's past with his mom, like having a conclusion, something like that. The final episode had a lot of random scenes. They could have utilized those minutes for other more impactful scenes.
As for the characters, Japanese shows tend to have characters that are so timid and ignorant it's getting irritating. The actors were great though .
Overall, it's rewatchable if you're bored or you missed Iwase Yoji's visual.

Masterful acting
I think it's wonderful that Yamamoto Kaito, who plays Takara Hiroshi, is doing a fabulous job at portraying a character with such complexity. This type of role requires a delicate balance of awe and vulnerability, and he is executing it beautifully so far. The way Kaito brings out the nuanced layers of Hiroshi's personality is truly captivating. His performance is not just about delivering lines but embodying the essence of Hiroshi's struggles and triumphs. From the very first episode, Kaito’s portrayal draws you in. He has a unique ability to convey a wide range of emotions through subtle expressions and body language, making Hiroshi a very relatable and engaging character. Whether it's a moment of quiet introspection or awe at his new surroundings, Kaito delivers each scene with authenticity and heart.
"Takara no Vidro" is blending of deep exploration of human relationships and the pursuit of dreams. Iwase Yoji as Shiga Takara also deserves praise for their strong performance, which complements Kaito’s role perfectly and enhances the overall narrative.
The cinematography and set design add another layer of beauty to the show. The visual elements are stunning, with meticulous attention to detail that immerses viewers in Takara’s world. The show's score is another highlight, providing an evocative backdrop that enhances the emotional impact of each scene.
Overall, "Takara no Vidro" is shaping up to be a standout series this season. Yamamoto Kaito’s portrayal of Takara Hiroshi is a key reason for the show’s success in my personal view, and I look forward to seeing how both characters evolve as the story unfolds. This series is definitely one to watch for anyone who appreciates a well-crafted BL's, narrative, and stellar acting performances.

IRRITATING LEAD!!
Since I watched this series upto last episode the story line and the lead takara is really cool! on their character... but i think the second lead Taishi is like a Stalker for him as we see in so many one sided inspired love stories on the first lead even in normal love series as well as in bl...This is somewhat like... i feel like his character is portrayed wrongly like a Stalker instead of an admired one...(exple).....saying weird things on the first meet, stalking behind him on the second meet, calling for help on the third meet...starring at him wherever he sees him..this feels more like a Stalker than an admired one and we feel irritated on some points when he voluntarily starring at him...
He might even come for his love or for him on any case but for any kinda relationship we should be in some distance till they get close to us we should give them a proper privacy till they reciprocate their feelings to us. This is just my kinda suggestion like what I had in my mind while watching the series.

Characters review
first few episodes are boring, taishin weirds me out during some parts but i just paid more attention to what was happening, takara is good character and i can really understand what his story is. it feels like it could have longer episodes since the story seems like more things couldve been added since things feel like its left out. for now, i hope we can at least get to see more of taishins story and everything, its almost going to end so i hope the ending wont disappoint me.Cet avis était-il utile?
10/10
I love this kind of drama. Slowly building and does not need physical touch to convey their feelings for each other.Slice of life kinda story, nothing dramatic, nothing but getting to know each other. I know others say otherwise, but I liked the chemistry between them.
And what I did not see in any other series to this extrem, was that they talked to each other about their insecurities and they waited till the partner really finished talking.
And overall the series is very cute! Specially Taishin and his unrealistic naiveness xD

Must watch
In the BL world i think JBL's are the most pure bl..This drama is so cute! After it started i read the manga version beforehand to compare both of them..
The manga version is cute but the drama version taishin is way cuter than the manga version.. Takara senpai is way cooler in the drama.. I mean the drama version he is so not exactly perfect but almost perfect.
This drama doesn't make u skip any of the episode.. although they focus more on the mains still the university part is good.. And takara senpai and taishin's first date is sooo cute.. the reaction to takara's confess and first kiss of taishin!!!!
The 2nd couple's part is also good... My most favorite part is where taishin thought he see takara senpai as his idol and started following him <3 <3
The ost is also good.. the ost matched perfectly with the storyline.. the singer voice is also good..
the acting of all the actors are so good!! I don't think i can comment on their acting cz if their acting weren't this good no matter how good the story or the plot were, this drama wouldn't be this good...
Lastly I think this drama is going to be my top 3 jdrama... which i am going to watch repeatedly...

They are such an adorable couple!
Taishin is so adorable I can’t stand it! He is so little and innocent it makes me giggle. He is like a little kitten, watch it for him. They are such a great couple. I also really enjoy how they clearly began dating, vagueness in a lot of these dramas can be a bit infuriating. This show is a short and sweet little watch.Cet avis était-il utile?

Gonna hurry up without ending the show and say that's a really good show already
Pls remember English isn't my first language ☝️First thing that I felt at the beginning was like !SPOILERS AHEAD! "Why did he came from his city to Tokyo just for him?" Like I was like maybe it's a kind of part of their culture, but not this time. Takara by himself said like "you came here to see me, so whats next you gonna do after thanking me?". And damn you're right, what he gonna do next. Like my personal opinion that love from first sight does not exist, you need time, but the movie production industry loves this trope so I can't say anything, cuz not me will be saying something about love. So, he said that he felt that he wanted to touch him, kiss and all that not heterosexual stuff and Takara was totally freaked out cuz who wouldn't. Like the person that you just calmed down came to this university to see you cuz you weren't careful of saying name of your university. But let me move forward, I'm gonna say I really felt the love, felt how the Takaras feelings appeared and developed and ofc the spark between them. No, Takara wasn't feeling love on their first camping, I think it's the glass earrings scene.
He realised how pretty was his eyes, just like the glass, so he felt the connection with him. He likes glass(childhood trauma) and he's literally the glass but alive. From other side we can see how Taishins feelings started to appear. He was just attracted to him firstly when he just calmed him down (like who wouldn't, he's super handsome and kind), but then he started to learn something about him (in his idol phrase) and absolutely fell for him, for his personality, how he's exactly the opposite of him. Also I think their acting is so natural, cuz I can see the smirks and little giggles that make their characters really alive. I wanted to say too that I firstly found Takaras behaviour a bit tricky like why he's being so harsh with him I thought that he just don't know how to approach him, but that's the part of his personality. That's all. Nothing complicated, that's how he acts and how he used too cuz of his trauma. He doesn't like small talks so he abandons them as soon as he sees the possible end of conversation. I could be wrong but that's how I see his behaviour. Also I really like the scene when Takara try to learn something about Taishins interests. So cute that he wants to approach him the same way as Taishin did. I left it for the final review, the kiss scenes. I really like them actually. Kiss in the 9th episode was so powerful and just bunched with feelings. I reaaaaaaally like how they sit and discuss everything of Takaras straightforwardness and Taishins cluelessity. I really find it healthy and good. So let's talk about their first kiss. I was like ???? when Takara kissed him, this was the least thing I expected his to do honestly. I'm like why with your forwardness you couldn't say straight "I love you too let's date ", and again, let's not forget that he's just kind of weird of his nature, so he picked the most convenient way for him to confess (????). Andddd y'all just watch Takaras gaze when he watching Taishin. He looks like he's crazy over him, that's true btw. Also the whole 9 ep for explaining Takaras feelings was perfect. Just what we exactly needed. Well let me end this cuz I will continue this to infinity.

If you are patient this slow burn romance will surprise.
A handsome university student, out hiking, meets a distressed adolescent. From this encounter the story unfolds. The adolescent, Nakano Taishin, is awkward, shy and introverted yet he overcomes many of those traits as he persistently tries to get Shiga Takara's friendship.
Shades of 'My Beautiful Man Eternal' in their relationship dynamics as Taishin adores and looks up to Takara unconditionally and Takara portrays his frustration at not being perceived as a flawed individual capable of casual cruelty, like his mother.
Both characters show development as they influence each other and begin to acknowledge the depth of their relationship.
Disappointing ending we are left with a lot of questions and loose ends.
