The dynamic of the couple gave me similar vibes. They have a hate to love relationship and are very mature dealing with issues.

Modern rom com without damsel in distress. Mature actors taking on lead roles. Superstar male vs strong female.

Although one has fantasy elements and the other doesn't there are some similarities in the overall vibe of the story.
Similar ML - Popular actors with issues regarding women and personality, actors also have a very similar style.
Similar FL - not at the core - but mainly her strength and interaction while working as a double in action scenes.
Male falls first and the awkwardness of their approach is also similar.
You will love both!

Both are romcoms that start of with a hate-to-love plot and both deal with the pressure of dating under public scrutiny as celebrities.

Actor ML with a fandom x fun FL who works close to the actor. A lot of banter between the leads. Enemies to lovers trope.

Hoo Joon is a top star and Geun Young is a magazine reporter who both attend a club’s opening night. There, Young witnesses Joon's violent behavior and accidentally vomits on him. Young loses her job and is convinced that Joon has to be behind her firing. She retaliates by demonstrating in front of Joon’s management office, where her picketing eventually garners some media attention and the anti-fan label.

Both male leads fell harder for the female lead

Strong female leads who approach romantic relationships casually

Both female leads are lawyers

Both female leads are the stronger one in the relationship

In both FL is torturing the ML at the beginning

Love to Hate you where Enemies to lovers. The skate into love is chinese drama the ML and FL are childhood friends and coincidently they meet in the same university under sports majors. ML hate FL because he used to bully ML when they are younger. this time ML make things harder to Fl where they become Enemie, but slowly they fall in love. This is Chinese rom-com drama.

In both the seemingly player female lead hides her more vulnerable side, and the male lead has also been disappointed in love/women. The dramas deal with similar issues, while being very funny and interesting to watch. I binged both.
Recommandé par Keshein
-Celebrity ML and non-celebrity FL

-Both FL are outgoing and strong, both physically and personality wise

-Both main couples bicker (love/hate relationship)

-I found them both genuinely funny, and somehow gave off similar vibes

Top Star Yoo Baek is longer and a bit more strung out, but both are a great binge watch : )

- strong, independent women
- one of the female characters is highly skilled in fighting
- sex and "dating around" portrayed as a normal thing (from both male and female perspectives in both shows)
- famous actor/"normal" girl relationships (Search: www - second leads)
- male chases female first

While not dealing with the same issues at all, they both have very strong FL and ML who cares more for her than the material world.
They are both funny and have real, modern day romance!

Recommandé par Frei
Both are short, bingeable romance dramas with little filler, simple plots that shouldn't be taken too seriously (because the "plot" is mainly just a vehicle for the romance), and great chemistry between the leads.

The FLs in both dramas have bad-ass personalities and defy societal expectations regarding acceptable behaviour when it comes to how women should interact with men (particularly their romantic / sexual partners). While some of the FLs' "bad girl" persona is a front, their bad-ass personality and lack of shyness in the bedroom is real. The MLs are not at all put off by the FLs' reputation or forwardness.

In both dramas, the leads are smart and competent people, but with secrets or hidden agendas.

In both dramas, one of the leads risks death or serious bodily harm to protect the other lead from danger.

In both dramas, one of the leads (L1) approaches the other lead (L2) with secret intentions, misunderstands the relationship between the other lead (L2) and one of their family members, and temporarily thinks less of the other lead (L2) based on the misunderstanding.
Recommandé par AH
Both dramas are presented with quirky internal and external monologues that create similar comedic vibes.

Other similarities:
- Hate to love developments
- Very honest and outspoken main leads
- Falling in love with people they work with
- Strong/supportive friendships
- Healing character development
- Set in a drama-production environment (main leads are actor+lawyer for Love to Hate you, screenwriter+director in Be Melodramatic)
