Good but limited running time
Imagine if the running time of this KBL is just like thai BL??? I know there's something in the plot that can go far and can put more in it but because of it's limited running and small budget they rushed it and go fast paced. Imagine this is what happened On the first episode they showed the wedding and how Kiwan struggle to replace his sister. And on their honeymoon omoo it would be chaotic imagine while they're making out without ryu knowing kiwan is a man and then when he touched kiwans **** while making out and that's how he find out HHAHAHAHAHHA. And then Ryu will be disgust coz Kiwan is a man. But eventually he didn't realize that He's slowly falling for a man. And then Ryu sister and mother will be a pain in Kiwan's ass just like kdramas in laws set up. And Ryu's feelings for Kiwan Will be tested by returning of original Fiance. Omooooo there's a lot scene in my mind that can spice up this bl. But all in all this is a good one you'll not get bored While watching this KBL, I recommend this if you want a light and fast paced BL. I'm happy that kbl are growing slowly I hope someday their fellow countrymen will accept this genre. Coz kbl has a lot of potential if it's not that limited in running time. i binge watched it all. its relatively short. i wish there was more content and the episodes were longer but overall i enjoyed this show. didnt like that blue guy tho. i hate blue guy. I think the show has great aspects to it but it needs more romance. More razzle dazzle that makes your heart quench. The kind that makes you so flustered that you bury your head in your pillow and jump around. I hope theres more content coming in the future. When the premise slows the story too much
Even though this is a short show, I'm a bit surprised with how little actually happened. The main concept is not super original, but it seemed like an interesting idea, considering the setting of the show and it being a BL.I feel like this show doesn't deliver romance, drama or twists. We spent too much time watching the annoying sister being annoying, and that doesn’t really give us anything more than the apple painting in the skirt. I understand that it was important to show that Ki Wan actually cared, but it took too long. A small portion of me kinda hoped that Ki Wan could give Tae Hyung a chance.
The ending is okay. With that being said, I have to say that the kissing scene in the end was beautifully shot.

ENJOYABLE AND GOOD BL SERIES!
It's true that there are lots of noticeable lackings, but for me it's understandable since it's only a short BL series, and I think it also does not have that much budget. I still enjoyed it though, so yeah, ten stars! It has a good storyline and the two male leads did a quite nice job in portraying their roles. I can't say the same for some of the side characters though. I love their sweet moments, it really made me smile a lot. It's nice to watch this kind of series, without that much intensity, just a relaxing romantic story.Cet avis était-il utile?
Por ser tão pequeno não há tanto desenvolvimento, o que teria se resolvido se fosse vinte ou trinta minutos, mas acho que é um bom passo para outras produções, quando imaginaria que teria um BL ambientando em Joseon, sério, amava ver como cuidaram do detalhes, até quando usavam a forma antiga do alfabeto coreano. Coitado do Hoseon, tem um amigo super fura-olho, não imaginei que ele seria tão rápido e agressivo no flete. Achei bem divertido essa parte, porém acho que sem ela o casal principal teria mais tempo de tela. Então, tendo ou não, não faz diferença para mim.
Pontos negativos: Curto, pouco desenvolvimento e muito flashback no final. Partes positivas: Química incrível, sentimento nos olhares, a solução final para os dois e o beijo. Foi tão bonito, com certeza um dos mais bonitos que já vi, mesmo sendo casto passa tanto sentimento, a forma carinhosa de cuidado antes dele também.
Bom não espere muito, não acredite que o ator ficará idêntico a uma mulher ou um plot arrasador, mas como disse antes, há muitos pontos bons, penso que ele é ótimo para passar o tempo sem necessidade de ser algo super pensante ou muito triste.

very fun to watch!
i love this drama! everyone’s reviews scared me, but i still watched it and was not disappointed! obviously the production and stuff wasn’t all that top notch because BL K dramas and films are still new to south korea, so the budgets for these movies and dramas aren’t gonna be that high. i still enjoyed this very much though! it was simple and sweet. the bottom was sooo cute omg he was pretty as a woman and as man. i loved how kind he was to everyone, and didn’t make a fuss about being a replacement bride for his sister. i wish they made more historical bl dramas like this :)Cet avis était-il utile?
Beautifully Shot
I did enjoy the overall aspects of this drama. I was impressed with the production level of this show. I think that many Korean dramas are getting better and better in terms of cinematography and acting. I was not that impressed with how the story unraveled. I wish there had been a bit more comedy. and maybe a bit more romance, too. Overall, the acting, costumes and scenery was pretty good. I have enjoyed the three dramas the three main leads were in before this show. I am glad I finally watched it.Cet avis était-il utile?
Seeing those three BL actors from 3 different series, made my brain always associate to evey one of them with their respective series (before this)
Apart from that, this series is still worth watching and finishing in a short amount of time. That was a good idea, isn't it?

Cukup menarik sebenarnya tema yang diangkat, tapi lagi-lagi BL korea selalu terkesan buru-buru. Sampai-sampai konflik yang diangkatpun diselesaikan begitu cepat. Padahal jika dikembangkan lebih dalam, series ini punya potensi yang bagus untuk bisa jadi sesuatu yang istimewa.
Melihat ketiga aktor BL dari 3 series yang berbeda, membuat otakku selalu mengaitkan satu dengan yang lainnya terhadap series mereka masing-masing (sebelumnya)
Diluar dari hal itu, series ini masih layak untuk ditonton dan diselesaikan dalam satu waktu yang cepat. That was a good idea, isn’t it?

Quando a Coréia vai nos apresentar dramas com tempo decente de tela?
Para ser honesta, quis assistir a esse drama apenas para ver o Kim Tae Hyung, depois do sucesso em "Where your eyes linger". Foi o primeiro BL de época que assisti, gostei do fato de ser ambientado na era Joseon, na verdade, gosto de BL's que fogem do lugar comum. Sobre o roteiro, achei que deixou muitos furos, muitas questões importantes em aberto, talvez porque a Coréia tem esse hábito de fazer produções com poucos episódios, que além de poucos são muito curtos, esse ficou entre 10 e 13 minutos, então realmente contar uma história em um espaço tão curto de tempo tem o risco de prejudicar o roteiro. Por quê a irmã fugiu? Onde ela estava? Quando a irmã voltou e seu irmão assumiu novamente a identidade masculina, o que as pessoas falaram, a família do noivo principalmente? Quando foram morar juntos, ninguém questionou nada? Afinal perante todos ele estava casado com uma mulher, qual a justificativa pra essa mulher simplesmente sumir e dar lugar a um homem? Óbvio que tiveram pontos positivos, como uma pitada de humor, o cuidado com os detalhes de época etc.A produção, apesar das falhas no roteiro, foi boa. A ambientação, fotografia, atuação, tudo estava ok, principalmente a ost, que me deixou encantada. O casal tinha muita química e a atuação deles transmitiu muito sentimento , apesar de que a "noiva", sinceramente, não parecia uma mulher.
Enfim, de uma forma geral eu recomendo esse drama, porém não crie muitas expectativas.

Quite refreshing to watch historic BL
It did well given how short it's, although it doesn't leave me feeling WOW.I love the idea of historic BL, more pls! also, love how pretty all the casts are and the music is a bomb! one of the best BL Ost ever!
Overall, it's quite a good watch. It's exciting enough to keep you watching, but anything longer than this would feel like a drag. I feel that the couple are quite reserved ,perhaps because it's Josean era setting. But that seems to take out some of the chemistry in a way
It's a relaxing watch for a lazy day, especially if u need a break from intense drama
Otherwise, it's also sth you can afford to miss, esp since there are lots of great BL drama, unless u run out of one to watch, like me..lol

ADORBS! Please Watch this Sweet Little Nugget.
Review:This is a sweet little nugget this is. Perfect for a cozy sunday afternoon light affair with earnest performances & an engaging simple story. it's a fun premise: a man disguised as his sister gets married to the boyish nobleman ryu and a sweet friendship that grows into a deep fondness ensues. . It has a good balance of sincerity & fluff with the golden charm of a 16th-17th century Korea.
However the scale of the story is small, there are no subplots or any garnishing or detailed sets - there's a charming simplicity to the scope of this story - it gets right to it with 8 short episodes but you'll find yourself appreciating it.
extra notes:
-I really like the actors, both adorable and convincing. I like the way Nobleman Ryu's face holds the gaze of the camera - I like his closeups. You see the vulnerability & restraint -it's adorable.
-The production value isn't high enough for a period piece but they've managed to create something special and with quality.
-I'm sure if the budget was higher the scale of the story would be more expansive, with more characters, details & parallel storylines - the story lends itself to a bigger scale easily - wouldn't mind if this was ever remade with 20 eps - it would work.
